• Maria (9/5): - Non è la prima volta che scelgo questa struttura e quindi mi piace molto soprattutto per la tranquillità e la posizione comoda per i mezzi ed i locali. Sicuramente tornerò Ovviamente essendo in ristrutturazione c'era qualche disagio ma niente di così pesante. Si compensa con la bellezza della zona.

• Krys (1/5): Appalling hotel, yes undergoing refurb but they should have shut. - Not much but the location Staff were rude and unhelpful. There was not even a complimentary bottle of water, that was charged. Room was dirty. THERE WAS NO WARM LET ALONE HOT WATER AT ALL. There was no breakfast or restaurant on site. Towels were filthy

• Estelle (7/5): Convenient and fine enough - Located in a calm, very pretty road, close to the park and brunch places. It is easily reachable by bus and metro. Staff very reactive as after we checked out we forgot something in the room and they kept it a week for us to come and collect it ! The walls are very thin. We struggled with our neighbours who were very noisy. The bathroom could be a bit cleaner. The building was under renovation at that time so there was no restaurant space, it was confusing finding the lift.

"Please be aware that this hotel might try to check you into a much smaller room than the one you actually booked and saw in the pictures. If this happens to you, do not accept it quietly. Demand your rights immediately! We were forced to spend a highly uncomfortable night in a tiny room with narrow beds just because they claimed they couldn't move us until 3:00 PM the next day. Make sure you get exactly what you paid for and don't let them compromise your comfort." "We arrived at the hotel yesterday evening, only to find out that the room we were assigned did not match the one shown in the pictures. We had booked a spacious room, but the one provided to us was extremely small. When we requested a room change, we were informed that it would only be possible after 3:00 PM the following day. Consequently, we were forced to spend the night in that room. To make matters worse, the beds were narrow and highly uncomfortable."

• Hannah (6/5): Practical with great location. Lots of potential - Location fantastic, 12 minute walk From Paddington, 8 mins from Bayswater tube station and 2 mins from Hyde Park. Lovely old building. Under renovation (well communicated) and hopefully lovely after. Staff in reception were friendly The rooms are in need of some love- very outdated and slightly ugly bathrooms and threadbare carpet. Both acceptable given renovations. Coffee and tea provision was very poor , with instant coffee only. Felt that didn’t need a full renovation to offer. Generally clean but were someone else’s hairs in the bath.

Il était précisé dans un mail, que l'on pouvait demander la déduction pour les petits déjeuners... puisqu'il n y en avait pas : hôtel en travaux, avec échafaudages... en refection ++ donc merci de faire un remboursement petit déjeuners car 658 livres pour 3 nuits, dans une petite chambre pour 3 personnes dont une jeune de 15 ans n est pas d un bon rapport qualité prix... • Jeff (5/5): The hotel was average to below average. - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was in proximity to Underground and train stations. The hotel was being renovated when we were there. The renovations were extensive. We were not notified of the renovations when the room was booked well in advance of our stay nor in the week or so before our arrival. The lift was not available to access our room from the Reception level due to the renovations on that floor. Unfortunately, that was the only lift in the hotel. Consequently, we had to carry our luggage up and down a few flights of stairs to get to our room. The sink spigot in our room was stiff and was either on full or not at all. It could not be adjusted. A piece of the shower knob was missing that impacted our ability to switch from the tub spigot to the overhead shower head.

Para colmo nos informaron al llegar denque tampoco habia agua caliente. Nos ofrecieron devorvernos integramente el dinero o una compensacion economica si nos quedabamos

When we asked about this, we were told that our rate was already low anyway. Since breakfast was included in the reservation, we would like either a refund for the breakfast charge or an equivalent alternative solution. There is no refrigerator in the rooms, the toilet flush works poorly, and there is no hand soap provided. However, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel once renovated will be excellent but currently it is good and the staff are handling the renovations and upheaval extremely well .

• Todd (9/5): Great value for money, good location, wonderful staff. Would definitely stay here again. - Very clean, super nice staff, great value for money for the price, no complaints. The lift was not available from ground floor but it was only temporary.
• Stéphanie (7/5): Situation géographique excellente, calme, ce qu'il faut pour un city-trip entre amis ou solo. - Idéalement situé à proximité de stations de métro, arrêts de bus et de rues comptant de nombreux restos. Pas le grand luxe, mais tout à fait correct pour un logement où on ne fait pour ainsi dire que dormir et se doucher. Quartier calme et sûr.

Had a good breakfast last stay, asked to book a breakfast on arrival to be told no breakfast available because of renovation of hotel.It would have been nice to have been told as I booked a long time ago? Our room had a rock hard mattress not ideal and bathroom needs updating. Only one bedside cabinet? No bottle of water or biscuits which was disappointing considering the high price.london I guess.

Paddinton Railway station walking distance of about 400 meters.Restaurants & coffee house, plenty to enjoy. Essey to move around any part of London city. Nice clean area all around the hotel, morning & evening walk just across the road. Food no problem, many restaurants of your choice. excellent walking on both sides of the roads

Also ground floor lift was under repair, so we had to climb stairs to get to the first floor to access the lift. Staff told us that the works will be finished by the end of the year - we'll definitely be revisiting once complete!

Ma réservation était non remboursable je ne pouvais plus annuler mon choix quand j'ai reçu la confirmation de réservation de l'hôtel dans laquelle j'ai été prévenu de la situation. De plus les chambres sont incroyablement mal insonorisées, vous vivez avec vos voisins ...

Keine Empfehlung oder ähnliches totale Baustelle, einhergehend mit kaltem Wasser oder gar keinem keine Bar - aufgrund der Baustelle Zimmer sehr klein und in die Jahre gekommen - daran wird wohl aktuell gearbeitet .. nächtlicher Feueralarm wurde lapidar als Fehlalarm bewertet ??? 2 Stunden auf der Straße und keine Entschuldigung vom Empfangschef Erst auf Beschwerde erfolge ein Preisnachlass

Due to the building work, we effectively only had a room which could have been in any hotel. No real reception, no bar, no breakfast. Disappointing really. The overhead shower was temperamental too.. hard to get any control of the temperature and once it was hot, that was it…no cooling it down again.

• Geraldine (3/5): Awful - I like the location It was a building site. There was no hot water in our room, we changed rooms but still no hot water. Everywhere was covered in plastic and there were builders and dust everywhere downstairs. We weren’t told this when we booked.

• Brightoncardinal (8/5): To return when refurbishment is complete - This review takes into account the fact that the hotel is under major refurbishment. We were advised two days in advance that there is no hot water and took the decision still to go. Despite this, the location was great, the staff terrific, the size of the room was much better than similarly priced London hotels we've used, and the hotel was clean. We'll definitely consider returning- once the refurbishment is done.

• TALINE (1/5): - Quelle déception! pas d’eau chaude durant notre séjour, ni l’accès aux espaces communs, ni la possibilité de prendre un petit déjeuner. Nous voilà obligés de prendre des douches froides et d’arpenter les rues pour trouver où prendre un petit déjeuner (très pratiques avec des enfants et une personne de 74 ans). Nous passerons sur les nuisances sonores dues aux travaux de l’hôtel. Pour clôturer ce séjour une fois avoir rendu notre chambre le matin nous laissons nos bagages à la conciergerie pour profiter de la ville avant de reprendre notre train le soir et en voulant récupérer nos bagages à l’hôtel on nous refuse l’accès aux toilettes. Nous avons déboursé plus de 1000€ pour 3 nuits et l’hôtel a refusé tout geste commerciale. Cet établissement ne vaux pas le prix payé pour les prestations proposées.
