Colazione eccellente. Ma soprattutto eccellente ospitalità da parte di Diego, prodigo di attenzioni e consigli. Ci torneremo certamente.
• Marco Lenny (10/5): Eccellente - "La Gatta Cenerentola" è un'oasi di stile e buon gusto. Ogni elemento è una tessera di un puzzle che completa un quadro perfetto nell'incantevole caos napoletano. Le stanze e la sala colazioni regalano estetica, confort, eleganza, coccole e tutto ciò che necessita a un viaggiatore. Diego, il proprietario, gestisce il tutto con quella cortesia e premura che di per sé incarna quel bigliettino da visita che ritrovi nella tasca della giacca di ritorno a casa. Complimenti. Dimenticavo: ottima posizione vicinissima alla metro e buona colazione, capace di soddisfare ogni palato. Top.

The breakfast very variante, fruit, pastery selection, eggs, cheese, toast and every thing we requested, Diego provided for us. • Десислава (10/5): An incredible place - Our host, Diego, is very kind and attentive, and throughout our stay he kept checking if we needed anything. The rooms are magnificent – with very high ceilings and each one decorated in a different, thematic, beautiful, original, and interesting way. I have never seen anything like it anywhere else. The bed is very large and comfortable, the bathroom shines, and everything is new and of high quality. The rooms are cleaned daily and the towels are changed every day. Our favorite place, however, was the breakfast area – a huge room with tall windows, beautiful furniture and tableware, and a wonderful atmosphere. Every morning there was fresh juice, melon, croissants (with small jars of Nutella and jam), various other Italian pastries, and fruit yogurt. Upon request, they also prepare delicious eggs with bacon or cheese. There is also another very pleasant common area where guests can make coffee or tea at any time free of charge, as well as a fridge with cold drinks available for purchase. The location is very convenient for getting quickly from the airport and for walking to the main attractions. But most importantly, the place itself is truly remarkable. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Thank you so much, Diego! Everything is great!
• Ondrej62 (10/5): Superb clean accommodation right on the metro and in walking distance to the city center - The apartment is located in a 3-level residential building away from the busy streets and it is quite quiet. It is in walking distance (10mins) from the entry to the historical center of Naples. There is 6 apartments in the property, all located on the 2nd floor. There is a lift you can use for free (when you enter a code). The owner Diego is very nice man who takes care of you all the time. He also prepared for us an English-style breakfast (scrambled eggs with bacon and toast) together with everyday fresh great Naples pastries, yogurts, winter melon, juice, coffee/tea. One day we needed breakfast a bit sooner to reach Mount Vesuvius in time but no problem for Diego! Metro Materdei is just 5mins from the door. Pizzeria Starita (one of the most famous in Naples) just 100m from the door. The property is modern, very clean. There was room cleaning service every day which was great. I want to say again big thanks to Diego for his care and approach. I can only highly recommend this accommodation! All was perfect!

Diego is so hospitable and helpful. The rooms are spacious, attractive and extremely clean. I also like the area the rooms are situated in. It felt safe and it is very easy to get to the main sights. Nothing to dislike.

La colazione ottima con dolci freschi della tradizione napoletana ma anche salata per chi lo desidera . Per chi arriva in auto a pochi metri dal beb c’è’ un parcheggio a pagamento . La posizione e’ molto comoda a pochi metri dalla stazione della metropolitana . Il beb si trova al secondo piano ma c’è l ascensore. Grazie Diego del piacevole soggiorno .

• Ottilie (10/5): Magical Gatto Cenorentola - Diego was so helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a gorgeous old building built round a Central courtyard, right in the heart of Materdei area. It's close enough to walk to the old town the buzzing Sanita area. The hotel itself is very comfortable and clean, with high ceilings and a big comfy bed. Everything was good.

• Rachel (10/5): Beautiful and comfortable B&B with great care and service in central Naples location - Traveling to Naples? Search no further and stay here! Inside a building whose exterior echoes the patina of the city, you will be transported into a pristinely refurbished and beautifully maintained B&B, managed with love and care. You’ll have a spotless, large, comfortable room with 16 foot ceilings and a great bathroom, and a delicious breakfast every morning including fresh Neopolitan pastries and delicious juice. You’ll be steps away from famous pizza, a block away from the metro, and a five minute walk from the Archeological Museum. Don’t stay anywhere else! I liked everything!

• olivier (10/5): Très bon séjour et emplacement idéal - Super séjour chez Diego qui nous a donné de bonnes recommandations de choses à faire à Naples. La chambre est grande, spacieuse et lumineuse.
• Gradoville (10/5): Hidden gem - If I could give it more stars I would. Never been to Naples but there's only one place I'll stay when returning. Best described as a hidden gem! I'm sure when you find the place(it's a bit tucked away), you will think I'm crazy. Then you go thru the gate, ride up to the 2nd floor and enter the facility you'll be amazed. 12 foot ceilings, totally renovated and above all CLEAN! It has a stocked refrigerator in the commons area, is close to the highest rated pizza place in Naples, and is literally less than 400 steps from the main metro line (I counted). But what makes it over the top is Diego,the owner. That is who you deal with. He checks you in, cooks breakfast for you, answers questions and makes sure everything is right. When you deal with the owner of any business, they have a vested interest to make sure your stay is great and Diego does exactly that. Better signage at the entrance, but once you figure it out you'll be more than happy.

Complimenti a chi si occupa delle pulizie per l’attenzione nel risistemare la stanza durante il soggiorno. Se devo trovare un difetto, consiglierei di trovare una soluzione ai piatti doccia molto scivolosi per via dell’inclinazione sbagliata. E i sanitari un po piccoli
• Bastien (10/5): Hôtel chic et accueillant dans un quartier authentique. - L'accueil du gérant est exceptionnel. Serviable, arrangeant et attentionné sans être intrusif. Le petit déjeuner est servi à table et il est très bon. Les chambres sont très bien, en particulier la literie qui est excellente (matelas et oreillers). La localisation est pratique pour visiter la ville à pieds ou en transports en commun (métro à 2 minutes). Pour rejoindre l'hôtel, on a pris le bus 182 (compris dans notre ArtePass) directement à la sortie de l'aéroport et on a fini à pieds à travers la Sanità. Nickel. L'hôtel est entre Materdei et la Sanità, l'ambiance est très couleur locale. C'est ce que je cherchais donc je suis ravi. Pas de nuisances sonores la nuit. De toutes évidence, les chambres ont été rénovées très récemment. La décoration des chambres et des espaces commun est très chique. Rien. Ou pour chipoter une ou deux étagères en plus dans le placard d'une des chambres et un meilleur Wifi dans l'autre. Mais rien qui ne réduise significativement la qualité de notre excellente expérience à la Galla Cenerentola.

Monipuolinen aamupala ihanassa salissa ja henkilökohtainen palvelu. Isäntä neuvoi parhaat ravintolat ja nähtävyydet, tilasi taksin lentokentälle. Saimme viipyä pidempään, kun lentomme peruttiin. Kaikki oli hienosti järjestetty.

Die individuell und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmer sind zudem perfekt gereinigt. Das Frühstück in einem besonders schönen Raum ist sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Es war ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt im lebhaften Herzen Neapels. Es gibt überhaupt nichts zu beanstanden.

• Richard (10/5): A wonderful stay - The host was so friendly and welcoming. We were greeted with cappuccino and pastries, although we arrived quite early. Our host even got us a small breakfast the morning we left, although we left at 6 am. The location is excellent, and the hotel itself was delightful. A true Neapolitan gem. We will definitely be coming back here. Thank you!!
• Williamson (10/5): Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again 10/10 - Breakfast was lovely, fruit/selection of pastries/yogurt/eggs & bacon with toast/fruit juice/coffee. Location very close to Metro Line 1 which made getting around very easy. Only 6 rooms in the B&B and very clean Diego was a great host only thing I can think of is maybe a mini bar/fridge in the room.
• Katherine (10/5): Wonderful stay and host went above and beyond - Diego was an exceptional host. Contacting him before hand, he was prompt with helpful and friendly reaponses. He arranged for our off-site parking and was waiting for us and helped us with our bags when we arrived. Upon arrival, he offered us drinks as he went over the sites and some restaurant recommendations (one of which we went to and it was spectacular). The room was spacious and uniquely and nicely decorated. Really goong out of his way, one morning I informed him we would not be making breakfast as we were heading to Pompeii, and he organized breakfast for us before he normally offers it. The next mor ing also we were heading out early. and he brought us tasty bakery treats for our journey out. The location is also very central. Wonderul stay, made better by the host.
• Gladys (10/5): - Amazingly beautiful and historic property with lovely and helpful management. So historic outside and very modern and clean inside. Diego was incredibly helpful and every aspect of this unique hotel was memorable! Highly recommend and hope to stay there again in the future. Easy to walk around or take the metro from there as well.
• Richard (9/5): A light, airy, spotlessly clean room with a charming host in one of europe's most vibrant cities ! - Diego, our host, could not have been more charming or helpful. You van see that he takes great pride in his establishment - and rightly so ! The room was absolutely spotless - probably the cleanest place in Naples - and was cleaned every day. The towels and linen were also immaculate and were changed during our short stay. Diego has created a beautiful light, airy breakfast room and serves a superb selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, tea and coffee - and a cooked breakfast for anyone who wants it. The rooms are in on the second floor of huge old, now rather shabby Palazzo - it must once have been a magnificent building - and, Thank God, there is a lift. The area around Piazetta Matedei is fairly rough, but it is only short walk down to the historic centre and the Materdei metro station is less than a hundred yards away. ( I cannot speak too highly of the metro, by the way - it is clean, fast and efficient - and Neapolitans are some of the most considerate travellers you could hope to meet. My wife had sprained her ankle just before we came away and was using a stick. Without fail, no sooner had she entered a carriage than somebody would leap up to offer her a stick - and the same was true on the buses. It would have been be nice to have had tea or coffee making facilities in our room. The shower tray was rather slippery and we discussed this with Diego, who, understandably, doesn't like rubber mats becuase they are difficult to keep clean.

• Narendra (10/5): Exceptional - This place is very clean, has a good decor, centrally located and within walking distance of all major attractions. The host Diego is wonderful and provides excellent breakfast.

• Matthew (10/5): - Stayed at the start of April and have to say it was one of the best hotel/b&b experiences I have had. From the moment you are greeted Diego cannot do enough for you. Be it recommending places to see or eat ( there is a fantastic pizza restaurant 5 minutes walk away and I’ve had a lot of pizza ), to helping you arrange a taxi or general travel advice. Each morning you are served a wonderful fresh breakfast. The location is fantastic with a metro again about a 5 minute walk away. I cannot recommend this place enough if you want a wonder clean stay in Naples. I will definitely be returning one day.
• Sarah (10/5): Cozy oasis within busy Napoli. - Everything was great about staying at La Gatta Cenerentola! Right away from booking I was in touch with Diego and communication was always fast and helpful. The location was a little tricky to find at first but it is in such a lovely neighborhood that is just outside of the really busy and hectic old center but with quick easy access either by 15 minute walk or the rooms are just down the block from a Metro stop. The Metro felt very easy and safe to use. The building that La Gatta is in is just beautiful. An old palazzo that has been cut up into apartments with classic rustic Napolitan charm on the outside but on the inside the restoration of where La Gatta is very modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is wonderful, the beds and pillows are supper comfortable. I wouldn't change a thing and I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Diego!

• Michele (10/5): excellent stay with diego - I stayed with my parents in the biggest room and honestly it exceeded my expectations. First of all, the room is very large with gorgeous high ceilings. Though the building is 300 years old, it is well updated inside. The location was great, near materdei station and also a block from starita pizzeria. The cleaning staff did an excellent job each day, and diego is truly a 5 star host. He was very accommodating when i let him know my dad was diabetic and had food needs, and even provided coffee for my dad when jet lag woke him up in the odd hours of the nights. He also gave great reccs on things to do and places to eat nearby. We had a very tiring first day in and he was so grscious even though we had to move our check in time to later. Breakfast was delicious and the vibes in the dining room were 🤌🏻🤌🏻. Thank you so much diego for an excellent stay!! Would 100% recommend The hot water was very comfortable but just fyi if youre from the US its not as scalding hot in italy (in general) as what we’re used to.

• Helen (10/5): Lovely, clean hotel with helpful and friendly host. - We liked everything! Diego was brilliant, from the easy communication with booking to helping us with the parking and then meeting us at the gate. The room was immaculate with a balcony and view over the square and a very comfortable bed. We would happily come back and highly recommend this little hotel. I can warmly recommend the pizza place (Starita) about 4 minutes walk away. Get there early if you don't want to wait 45 minutes for a table or go round the side of the restaurant to order takeaway. Amazing gluten free pizza! Thank you Diego! ❤️🇮🇹 We were a bit worried that the room door wasn't locked properly, but Diego soon helped us with that.
• Hugh (10/5): An excceptional experience. - Location in Materdei is close to the old town and a short walk down to via Toledo and the Archeological Museum. One of the best pizza parlours in Naples - Starita - is five minuters away The modernised rooms are delightfully decorated and located on the 2nd floort of a 300 year old former palace set in a courtyard - a wonderful taste of historic and modern Naples. Diego - a charming and helpful host. The weather was exceptionally wet for our first day and we were diverted to Rome - this was out of anyones control and affected flights for an hour or so.

The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished with high-quality decor that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The tasteful design truly enhances the overall experience. Our host was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The beds were cozy, providing a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring. I can't recommend this hotel enough! It’s the perfect getaway, and I will definitely be returning with friends in the future.

He was extremely helpful highlighted by the fact that when I got to the airport and realised that I had left one of my suitcases behind Diego jumped on his motorbike and brought the case to the airport!! He cooks a delicious breakfast every morning and is ever willing to refill your coffee cup with his gorgeous coffee. All in all La Gatta Cenerentola Rooms are a delight to stay in.

• David (10/5): Exceptional - Our room was decorated beautifully and maintained perfectly. All the fixtures and fittings were of excellent quality throughout. Super comfy bed. The breakfast was lovely. Fruits, yoghurts, fantastic local breads and pastries. Bacon, eggs, etc, were also available and smelled delicious, if that's your preference. The location is excellent. You are 3 minutes walk from both the mainline Metro station and Starita - the best pizza restaurant in the world (really). A mini market and pharmacy are the same distance. Diego is a fantastic host. So warm and helpful. We felt really looked after, and loved chatting to him every day. Thank you, Diego. :⁠-⁠)
• Erwin (10/5): - We had an amazing stay at La Gatta Cenerentola Rooms. The location was ideal. It was in the historic Palazzo del Forno right in the heart of Old Napoli. It was close to a metro station and walking distance to restaurants, museums, and sights. The room we had was spacious, quiet, and clean. Diego was an excellent host, making sure we were welcomed when we checked in and sent off with a heart breakfast even if we checked out at 7:00 am! We will book it again when we come back to Napoli.

As others have said, Diego was a great host, and gave us good tips for the second part of our holiday as well as for Naples. Materdei is a very sweet neighbourhood and nice to stay alongside people who live and work there. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious.

Grazie Mille Diego - he left no stone unturned in making our stay comfortable and memorable . He went above and beyond and also helped us with planning our trip to Pompeii , personalised restaurant recommendations and even calling our taxi back to the airport & keeping him waiting when we were running late !! Our 7 yo daughter loved the room and the breakfast and so did we !! It’s an ideal location close to centre of town and even close to the train station , the metro is about 2 mins walk away and about 100m away is Starita the iconic Pizzeria - since 1901 and we would recommend more than one visit !!! Nothing
• Debi (10/5): A gem in Napoli! - This place was better than described. Room was spacious, clean, and beautiful. Loved the little balcony that gave me a bird’s eye view of the locals and gave my stay a very authentic feel. So many restaurants and stores nearby and a VERY short walk to the metro. I was able to take a day trip to Pompeii and to Rome via the trains. Diego was extremely attentive and there was breakfast available every morning. Beautiful setup. My room was cleaned every day. There’s a lot of hustle and bustle outside the building but when you’re inside, it’s very quiet and peaceful. Really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely return, but I’ll bring my daughter along to enjoy the experience.

The rooms are huge, well decorated, and modern. Location was only a few blocks from the train station, 10min walk to the archeological museum, and 1min walk from the best pizza I’ve ever had. He waited for us to arrive, carried our bags, provided us with an iron when asked, have us so much advice and good conversation, then served us a beautiful and filling breakfast with his wife. • Janice (10/5): Quality b&b - Outstanding b&b in old Neapolitan building. Diego is a great host, giving lots of information on what to see and local restaurants. The bed was really comfortable and the room and bathroom were finished to a high quality. Diego also arranged our taxi for a very early flight which was a great help. Would definitely recommend.
• Ivan (10/5): - Die Unterkunft ist grossartig und vom Herzen zu empfehlen! Die Lage ist top, die U Bahn ist in der Nähe ( max. 10 -15 Minuten zu Fuss). Zum Flughafen sind wir mit Taxi ca. 20 Minuten gefahren, das geht schnell. Diego ist ein toller, sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Jeden Morgen gab es ein tolles Frühstück mit frischem Kaffee, Croissants, Obst, Marmelade und frisch zubereitete Omelette! Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag sauber gemacht. Location was hard to get to by car but Diego came out and directed us as where to go and where to park.

He gave us info about places to visit and eat. The Pizzeria down the road was incredible. La Gatta is beautiful!! Very clean and the decor etc WOW! I really recommend La Gatta for a stay in Naples you will not be disappointed. If you like 5 star boutique places this one is for you. Thank you Diego for everything. Everything was perfect.
• Wyatt (10/5): Just perfect - The building and rooms were lovely, jn a great location, and a stunning breakfast room where you are served a fresh breakfast with a nice view. But a special shout out to Diego who was simply an incredible host start to finish - he accommodated a late check in when our flight was delayed , left some special touches such as Prosecco to toast our recent marriage and also accommodated a late check out at short notice. He went above and beyond N/a - it was perfect
