We made the reservations in January but in the end of March we were notified that they decided to have a total renovation and our reservation was moved to an neighboring hotel namely the Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel, supposedly with the same amenities and the same kind of room - boy were we for a supprise upon arrival!
• MILTON (10/5): - The property was nice, clean and comfortable. For our purposes of visiting Paris sites Louvre, Eiffel Tower and all other points it was walkable or a short Metro ride so the Hotel is in a great location. However the ring that stood out was the front desk staff Eric (concierge) Morgan and Killian made our stay so enjoyable it exceeded our expectations. Thanks very much to the staff and management

Perfectly positioned within easy walking distance of Paris’s finest sights, it made our stay both relaxing and delightfully adventurous. We can’t wait to be back and experience it all over again!
• Betoagg (10/5): Fantastic Location and Conformtable Stay - The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient access to the metro, making it easy to explore the city. Many iconic landmarks—Place de la Concorde, Les Tuileries, the Louvre, Opéra Garnier, La Madeleine, and the grands magasins—are all within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, offering ample wardrobe and cabinet storage. The on-site restaurant is also a highlight, serving a delicious breakfast as well as full meals throughout the day.

Staff at the reception are very helpful…but we saw the cleaner in our room cleaning the toilet with gloves and, with the same gloves, washing the coffee cups. Since then we couldn’t use them anymore and we avoided the restaurant as well. Our room was at first floor and the corridor to get there was very badly smelly…not sure why. Apart this, it’s in a perfect position to visit the city, and near to the Louvre museum and yellow line of the underground and so much more…

• Natalia (6/5): Great location! - Location, location, location! The hotel is in an excellent spot—close to major attractions and just steps from the metro, making it easy to get around. The continental breakfast (included in our rate) was a nice bonus. Rooms: The room was small but had a comfortable bed and a surprisingly spacious bathroom. Unfortunately, the bathroom had some mold issues. Closet space was limited, even in a superior room. There was also a safe, which was a convenient feature. We stayed for seven nights. On one occasion, we returned from a full day out around 6 PM to find our room hadn’t been cleaned. We had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes while housekeeping took care of it. There was no apology, and the concierge’s only suggestion was to request cleaning service the following day—not exactly what we expected in terms of service. Overall, this is a basic 3-star hotel with a prime location and a few shortcomings in service and maintenance.
• Linda (10/5): - This is an older boutique hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The steam rooms and pool were most enjoyable. It is close to the Metro stop and Tuilleries Jardin as well as close to many sites and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

• scW7838YX (2/5): Safety Risk Warning: Make Sure You Don't Accept Their Rooms With Slanted Ceilings! - Before you book a room with Hotel Royal Saint-Honore, be sure you ask to see a photo of the actual room you will be getting. Rooms (such as 606) are a serious safety hazard with their very low vaulted ceilings. If you’re sleeping on the right side of the bed, you cannot walk to the bathroom without bending over. I ended up banging my head which resulted in a chipped tooth. I had intended to post a picture of this room with my review but mistakenly deleted it. And when I contacted the hotel and asked them to email me a photo they refused to do it. When the hotel responds to this review, I would ask that they attach a photo of Room 606 taken from the right side of the bed. Perhaps they will also address why these types of rooms are not featured on their website if they feel they are perfectly safe and worthy of a 4 star hotel.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the breakfast ample enough. Great coffee!

I will start by simply saying that I will DEFINITELY being staying with the Royal St. Honore on my next trip!!! I have been to Paris countless times and this Hotel exceeded all of my expectations. -Centrally located to EVERYTHING; -Beautiful, safe location walking distance to sites, unlimited bars and restaurants, squares and parks; and shopping galore-Their inhouse restaurant ended up being our best meal (and we went to some fabulous restaurants of all kinds). The vibe is the best. So elegant yet warm. What makes this Hotel soooooooooooooo special and set apart is their staff. Our dealings with Morgan; Eric and Mathieu were superlative. The are kind; professional; knowledgeable and interfaced with every part of our trip with organizing transportation; restaurants; tours; etc. They all seemed so eager to help make our trip so special, and I can tell you they succeeded. Hats off the whomever put this team together. They obviously know hospitality!!!!! "Thank you and see you on our next trip! Au Revoir!!!

• williammH5553CB (10/5): Wonderful Time! - My wife and I stayed at the Royal Saint Honoré in Paris for approximately one week in mid-September 2024 after the Olympics and the Paralympics. It is located at 221 Rue Saint-Honoré 75001. The Positives: First, it is a charming, intimate, boutique hotel in the center of Paris. The location is outstanding. Beautiful shops and wonderful restaurants are within a short walking distance. The area is popular and bustling during the day, but quiet in the evenings. Second, all the staff were exceptional and spoke English well. (My French is at best limited and halting.) The staff were always helpful and friendly. Third, the concierges were knowledgeable and gave excellent directions and recommendations. Fourth, the restaurant was wonderful. It comfortably seats about 40 people and is tastefully appointed. Much care has been given to the acoustics and the ambient noise level is very low, allowing for easy conversation. The restaurant offered a breakfast package which we highly recommend. The food and selection were outstanding (cheeses, croissants, eggs, sausages, fruit, yogurts, breakfast pastries, etc.) The food was fresh, well-prepared, and wonderfully presented. We ate a sumptuous breakfast there almost every morning. Finally, our queen size bed enabled us to sleep comfortably; we awoke feeling rested and refreshed. The first morning our shower flooded, but the manager personally fixed it quickly; there were no further problems. The toilet and shower areas are separate, and also a bit tight but quite functional. We were very pleased with our stay and would love to return.

• 604berniceg (10/5): Great hotel in the heart of Paris - Lovely little hotel in a great location. Room was on the small size, but bathroom was spacious and everything was clean and in working order. Our room faced a courtyard and it was quiet as could be. Breakfast was a buffet with a nice variety of choices, and service was pleasant and efficient.

She said the hotel is not fancy but in a great location and safe...she was correct on both accounts. I booked a Superior Room and was quite disappointed, the interior furnishing are very dated, the paint peeling in some locations and the tub finish was peeling off. If my husband had been with me the room would have definitely been too small. The week I was there the hotel was undergoing renovation and at times there was a lot of noise. This was never mentioned at the time my reservation was made. The coffee was great, however the breakfast was just OK. On the mornings that I ordered coffee it was delivered on time and the coffee was hot. Having traveled to NYC and Rome, Italy within the past four months, this hotel was comparatively very disappointing. The concierge Eric was very helpful to my friend who was having difficulty with the electrical convertor.

We had a room with an extra twin bed and it was a hospital bed which gave me an anxiety attack. It had dirty straps. We felt very scared almost like if it was an experiment bed. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and discriminating. The man who led us to our room did not allow us to take our luggage because we had too many bags and insisted on leaving our bags in their bag compartment at the lobby. He sarcastically made a comment about our luggage It was a horrible experience arriving in Paris. The only positive thing we saw was the location.

We were on a specific mission to enjoy beef boirguignon our first night in Paris and he sent us to a place where that plate was an afterthought and it was the worst version we’ve had anywhere. I hate to be negative but had to share that.

• davidgV762VV (10/5): Best Hotel on Earth 🌎 - I have to begin this review by saying the nearly four weeks I stayed at the Royal Saint Honore was the best hotel experience of my life and I just turned 70 this week! From the concierge like Eric, Baptiste, Guillaume and the rest of the gang went out of their way to ne helpful, friendly and exceptionally conversant and kind. The room was and is beautiful with a phenomenal view, it's 5 minutes if you're slow, walking to the Louvre and the Tuilleries and the service is impeccable! If you want a hotel that is not only clean, close to attractions and goes far and away above all other hotels, then book a room here. The 'boss' as i called him, even gave me a going away present of a beautiful Bordeaux. The nicest people on the planet and the best hotel location in all of Paris. If you need a taxi, a quick bite, whatever, the consummate staff will take care of you. I've traveled all over the world, I only wish all hotels were as truly wonderful as the Hotel Royal St. Honore, next to Cristoffe and across from Balcienega. If you're going to Paris, book this hotel now! Completement.

The location is superb, it's such a wonderful base from which to explore Paris. Our rooms were bright and airy, clean and comfortable with macaroons waiting for us when we arrived, which was a lovely touch and excellent tea and coffee facilities. The staff are so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much bother. Breakfast is excellent too. We will be back again next year and could not recommend it more as the hotel to stay in on a trip to Paris.

• Donna (10/5): - The hotel is a small French boutique hotel that we are always looking for and also in the best neighborhood. Many great restaurants within a few yards. The staff was a 10! Absolutely the best. We were there for seven nights and stayed in two different rooms. The first was on the sixth floor with three dormers and balconies. Even though we had to duck to not hit our heads on one side of the room we still loved it. Our second room was a corner room. Both so perfectly simple European. The only negative would be the restaurant where we had dinner one night. While the food was tasty the waiter treated us like we were so annoying to him by just being there- and there were only two other occupied tables. We would most definitely stay there again.

The only way is to turn the cold water all the way to max, then slowly, turn the hot water on only a little, and the water will be hot but not too hot. The TV constantly did not work and we had to call to have the signal re set. The ceiling started to leak due to AC issues as we were told by hotel staff. A few of the showers towels had big spots of appear to be blood stains. Still overall loved it, best location in the heart of Paris, in the 1st district where it is only 10 mins walk to Tulleries park and the metro station, and of course to the Louvre museum! Walkable to Notre Dame cathedral. We were able to walk to almost all popular sites including Eiffel tower. • Erin (8/5): - This hotel was super convenient in terms of location. We could walk everywhere close to the louvre and it was close to two metro lines. The breakfast was delicious each morning. The room was big for a Paris hotel, and the beds were comfy. Our room was definitely dated. Cracks and paint peeling. The bathroom was not the nicest. The tub had broken fixtures with dirty sealant covering exposed old knobs. The drain did not fully close so baths were quick but then again, the water drained slowly so showering was also weird. If I had paid a bit less for this last week I would not mind the out-dated-ness, but we spent a lot of money that I would expect better quality in a room.
