- Halliday (10/5): A must stay!! - Love the architecture and history. Very clean, updated bathroom, exceeded my expectations. Love being there and very comfortable!!! Fabuous charm and close enough for walking to many things. Breakfast was lovely, gret food and environment. no complaints

The room we had often seemed stuffy and warm at night and we didn't have operable windows other than the Vellux skylights which could not be left open if there was a chance of rain.

Front desk manager gave us a complimentary upgrade which was very nice. Breakfast was delicious eggs Benedict cooked to order. Staff was very helpful in helping us get a cab booked for an early morning flight. Short walking distance to restaurants, pubs and shops but far enough away that it was quiet. No elevator. This wasn’t an issue for me as the front desk manager brought my large suitcase upstairs but I did see another guest struggling to get hers downstairs in the morning.

I requested a lower floor room, due to several back operations. They gave us an upgraded suite, at the floor needed, and did not upcharge. Excellent customer service! Breakfast was best I've had in Ireland. Great location! Liked everything!

- Mary (10/5): Lots of Character & Style - Kilronan House has so much character! It is very clear someone was thoughtful in both its decor and its maintenance. Staff was friendly and accommodating and our room was very comfortable. It might seem like it’s a ways from some of the more typical sites in Dublin but I’d say everything there is walkable. Our only regret is that we could not stay for breakfast the next morning. The challenge with Kilronan House are the stairs with your luggage. There is no elevator, especially if someone needed something to be accessible.

Breakfast was amazing - fresh fruit, fresh eggs and smoked salmon, etc. The room was tiny and there wasn't a lot of space for luggage. We were only there the one night so it was fine. Location is quiet at night. Very close to bus and tram stops and a short walk to St. Stephen's Green. We felt very welcome and would stay again. There's a bit of a smell in the bathroom, maybe from the plumbing system they had. But it didn't bother us.

- 4400d85b85b170c65709aaebf97923cd (10/5): Highly recommend - Worth booking for the great breakfast alone, but also a very charming and comfortable property (actually two adjacent houses). It sits right at the edge of the gentrified area and you can clearly see the contrast with the steel-and-glass Dublin and these old houses that give you a sense of time past. The staff don't miss a beat - excellent hospitality. The bed was warm and comfortable, the bathroom water hot and abundant, the lounge a quiet, timeless respite from the external world. The walk downtown is super pleasant, or you could take the tram. Couldn't recommend it enough. My room was clearly a single person room (what they used to call "the help") but even so, it was comfortable and had everything necessary. I was worried I might be cold at night but the luxe duvet kept me perfectly warm.
