• Veit (9/5): Ideal für einen Kurztrip nach Venedig. - Die Lage war sehr gut. Etwas abseits vom Touristenrummel in Venedig, aber trotzdem sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichbar. Das Frühstück war für ein italienisches Hotel außergewöhnlich gut. Es gibt tolle Bars und Restaurants in der Nähe. Mückengitter vor den Fenstern wären hilfreich, aber das ist ein grundsätzliches Problem in Venedig.

• Krystal (5/5): Wonderful staff, good location, but not a comfortable room - The staff at this hotel were excellent. Very friendly, good local knowledge, eager to help. The communal area of the hotel was very nice and we enjoyed the breakfast (continental style). Our room was a good size. The location was close enough to restaurants, shops and amenities, whilst still being off the beaten track enough to be nice and quiet. The water taxi was able to drop us off right at the hotel door from the airport, so not no dragging cases round the city to find it! The upholstered walls seemed a strange choice for a hotel bedroom. I suspect they were chosen to match the traditional decor, but they were not in a good state. The artwork was a little depressing. The bathroom was very small and the shower had a plastic shower curtain that didn't do a good job of keeping the water in the shower. The view was of a disused courtyard on one side and a wall on the other side. No air conditioning, so was too warm during the night.

The boats pull up outside and Alessandro was waiting to make everything so easy (even up to carrying our suitcases). We then got upgraded for free to the best room in the hotel for no reason whatsoever! The room is literally out of a dream. The only hotel comparable to this stay was the Savoy in London. Literally that dreamy - the photos will show for themselves. The breakfast was perfect. There was a smart TV. And location was perfect. Fantastic value for money - honestly I’d go as far as saying it’s even too affordable for what it is??? Literally 10/10 That we only had 1 night in Venice !!!🥺😫

I was impressed and delighted to observe the easy camaraderie of the staff - host, wait staff, cleaning staff, and what a team effort it is at the Ca' Vendramin Zago. Although the hotel is beautifully historic with high ceilings and a palatial feel, the room amenities are modern and very comfortable. We love the sestiere of Cannaregio. It is is a perfect location to take a short stroll to the many local places of interest or enjoy drinks and cicchetti at the Fondamenta de la Misericordia. A great location to retreat from the San Marco throngs yet the big sites and the airport are still easily accessed by the vaporetto or a 20-minute hike. Breakfast very nice and the people are pros. Note the photos taken from our canal view room. Stunning place. Nothing. The place is wonderful and the team is diplomatic and fair.

The cleaning staff (two lovely ladies) happened to be cleaning our room when we came back from lunch and they were so friendly and so efficient, doing a good job. I have already informed my sister and her husband THEY HAVE TO STAY HERE!! The tub- wonderful. We had balconies over the canal--totally worth the upgrade! If you're going to stay in Venice, get a room over the canal! Nada-- all excellent

• Béatrice (8/5): C’est un bel hôtel au charme d’un palazzo idéalement placé pour rejoindre la gare et l’aéroport. Le personnel est très - L’emplacement et le charme d’un palais sur un canal calme. Nous avons été upgradé vers une junior suite très grande avec vue sur le canal. Les équipements sanitaires de la chambre : exiguïté et ventilation insuffisante Le petit déjeuner est servi dans l’entrée de l’hôtel. C’est dommage de ne pas profiter d’un autre espace. Notamment cette grande salle à manger purement décorative au niveau du premier piano. Il manque un salon où se poser et pouvoir boire un verre.

• ldgp14 (10/5): Incredible stay - We stayed here for 3 nights during carnivale and it was a piece of real relaxation in the chaos of Venice. Situated on a beautiful little canal this old palazzo is a truly fantastic place to stay, it is only a 20 minute walk to St. Mark's square and the same amount of time to Piazzale Roma to get the airport shuttle. Our room was great really spacious, clean and comfortable with excellent views of the canal. As mentioned we visited during carnivale and the hotel provided us with masks which was a great touch, we also got a free bottle of prosecco for Valentines day! All of the staff were excellent and the breakfast was fantastic to we couldn't recommend this hotel enough.

Inoltre: la colazione molto povera con prodotti non freschi, inaccettabile la tenda di plastica in doccia…abbiamo chiesto consigli su dove andare / cosa fare (in aggiunta a quanto avevamo organizzato noi) e abbiamo avuto l’impressione che al desk o non conoscessero la città o non avessero voglia di dare supporto ad un cliente

• Mykyta (7/5): We recommend not leaving money or valuable items in the room safe. - The hotel itself is very nice and comfortable, and the staff were polite. However, guests should be careful with valuables. The room safes work with a physical key, not a code. During our stay, cash was taken from our safe. The hotel could not help without a police report and could not show camera footage. There are also no cameras at the room entrance.

Vicinissimo ai traghetti per raggiungere stazione o aeroporto. Camera Junior Suite spaziosa arredata con gusto, peccato per il bagno. Il bagno completamente da rifare, non adatto ad una Junior suite. Colazione migliorabile in qualità, anche offrendo frutta fresca e non industriale da barattolo.

• anders (10/5): great location, friendly staff and cosy hotel - the Hotel is an old big house with from memory 15 rooms. As a customer you were recognised and felt welcome. Staff very friendly and helpful. It was close to the airport boat first stop from the airport which is called Madonna dell'Orto which is route 12a from memory (journey time with the boat was 15-20 minutes and then a 10 minute walk to the hotel). The hotel is around 10 minute walk from the centre of Venice and plenty of nice restaurants around. The area is not very busy. Breakfast was good and had mostly everything you would like. Great stay - would definitely stay again. It was nothing that we did not like.

Well done! - Nothing was too much trouble to achieve our maximum comfort and guide us to an interesting stay. The hotel could offer a more extensive lounge area and service for coffees and drinks in the afternoons.
