- Léa (7/5): Agréable et dépaysant - Le personnel est accueillant et aux petits soins , la chambre est spacieuse il y a beaucoup de rangement, la déco est sobre,la literie est agréable, le balcon est cosy. Pas assez de porte serviette dans la salle de bain, l’isolation phonique n’est pas suffisante, il manque une chaîne de télé en français. Les soupes du restaurant ne sont pas faite maison.

- Aurélia (8/5): Je recommande cet hôtel bien situé et très beau - L'hôtel semble avoir été récemment rénové, les espaces communs sont très beaux (et stylés) et il propose divers services de qualité : restaurants, bar, café, spa, salle de sport. La localisation est parfaite si vous recherchez un quartier sécuritaire, dans lequel vous pouvez aisément vous balader, manger (plusieurs cafés et restaurants à 10mn à pieds) ou dormir. Zamalek est le quartier recommandé pour cela. La chambre est spacieuse. Le léger manque de propreté de la chambre et de sa vétusté (un léger rafraichissement ne ferait pas de mal) et les bruits de fond récurrents.

- Auryn21 (8/5): Degelijk logeren in mooie internationale wijk Zamalek - Mooi restaurant met uitgebreid aanbod, correcte en beleefde balie, mooie en grote kamers. De buurt is leuk om te verkennen. De lift werkt heel traag en inefficiënt. 1 van onze kamers had een kapotte airco en geen haardroger maar na contact met de balie werd dit relatief snel opgelost.
- nicole yael (10/5): Einfach nur perfekt - Wir waren von dem Hotel sehr ueberrascht. Es hat zwar nur drei Sterne, entspricht aber fuenf Sternen! Sie kommen im Hotel an und gleich wird ihr Gepaeck vom Personal ins Zimmer gebracht. Wir haben ein Zimmerupgrade bekommen, die Zimmer sind modern ausgestattet und sehr sehr gross. Das Personal ist aussserst freundlich und erfuellt ihnen jeden Wunsch. Zum Fruehstueck konnte man von einer breiten Auswahl an Kostlichkeiten auswahlen, das Buffet war sehr reichlich. Es gab auch frisch gepresste Saefte. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, da man in Paar Minuten den Nil und die schoenen Geschaefte von Zamalek erreichen kann. Auch die Lage ist besonders sicher. Wir hatten nur positive Erfahrungen

- Mouna (9/5): - Chambre propre impeccable, linge et serviette de belle qualité. Merci à Samah qui était au petits soins et veillez à ce qu'il nous manque rien. Les serviettes étaient changer tous les jours. Chambre calme avec un beau balcon pour apprécier la vue sur le caire et le Nil au loin. Le restaurant le soir, bon et généreux. Le petit déjeuner le matin. Petit dejeuner buffet varié avec des plats chauds, des œufs, des pancakes, crêpes a la demande. Ainsi qu'un bon café le tout inclus dans le prix. Très très bon qualité prix.

Lekker ontbijtbuffet, vriendelijk personeel. Taxi geboekt voor luchthaven heen / terug deze waren zeer correct ook in prijs. Ik kom zeker terug , een echte aanrader. Hotel is een 4 sterren waard. - Manar (9/5): Overall, we had a lovely stay. What truly made the experience special was the amazing staff — Mennah and Mohammed from h - What made the stay special was definitely the staff. Mennah and Mohammed from housekeeping, Mohammed at the reception, and the gentleman working at the door were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everyone, including the breakfast staff, always greeted us with warm smiles and positive attitudes. They were truly the jewels of the stay and the reason the experience still felt memorable despite the inconvenience. Living on the 13th floor was quite a hassle since the elevator didn’t go all the way up. To make things worse, midway through our stay, the button for the 12th floor got stuck and stopped working, so we had to take the elevator to the 11th floor and climb the stairs up to the 13th.

Heerlijk eten voor een goede prijs, zeer vriendelijke werknemers en gezellige sfeer. Er zijn veel scholen in de buurt dus soms wat gehorig maar niet storend. Zamalek is een hele fijne buurt waar je gerust kan wandelen, de Nijl op loopafstand met leuke tentjes. De schoonmakers staan altijd paraat en zijn heel beleefd, de medewerkers helpen met koffers zodra ze zien dat je iets zwaars tilt. Heel erg attent. Ik raad ze President hotel van harte aan. De kaart met prijzen van de Spa in het gebouw bleken niet overeen te komen met de werkelijke prijs. Volgens de medewerkster is de tarievenlijst die qij hadden op de kamer niet actueel, dus misschien een tip om deze te updaten. 🤷♀️

I picked the hotel because it has a gym. The cycle and treadmill are not in good shape. Need to be repaired. Rest of the gym equipment is very good and clean.

La camera tutto sommato carina, avevamo la cucina ma nessun utensile per cucinare (non ci sarebbe servito comunque, ma se ev. Si sceglie questa tipologia di camera bisogna tenerne conto). Colazione nella media. Wifi funzionante dappertutto cosa atipica per l'Egitto. Niente di totalmente negativo (giusto che c'era la cucina ma inutilizzabile).

It’s old and has the old damp smell, rooms are small with basic amenities although we were told these were the refurbished rooms, neighbourhood was not what I expected. Using bathroom in each room was ridiculous as very small and appeared to flood, one of our group members was locked in the bathroom for over 30mins on his first night facilities were concerned about hitting him to break door down as it was that small ps this was a deluxe couple room

- Eleni (10/5): - We stayed in a family room with my family and had a wonderful experience. The view from the room was amazing, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location was perfect for our explorations, with many cafés and dining options nearby, which made us feel comfortable going out on our own with the kids, even without our guide. The breakfast was very good, offering a wide variety of choices. We also had dinner at the hotel, which was a great option for us as we preferred something safer and more familiar for the kids who didn’t enjoy Egyptian food very much. One of the highlights for our children was when the staff made a penguin out of towels in our room—it was one of their top moments of the trip! Overall, the staff was always smiling and ready to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. Cleaning could be improved, and the shower pressure was not very strong. However, these were minor issues and did not significantly affect our overall positive experience.

Die Dame, die mein Zimmer 330 betreut hat war grossartig. Sie sah genau meine Bedürfnisse. Leider habe ich ihren Namen vergessen, der Manager weiss ihn. Die Fussmasage und die ganzkörper Massage, waren ihr Geld wert. Ich habe den Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr genossen. Dass nach einer Woche jemand kommt um Geld für die Reinigung zu sammeln. Für 2 Personen wird es eng.

I bicchieri di vetro della stanza non sono mai stati cambiati.
- simone (7/5): Really nice location, beds good, room spacious. - Location, size of room We emailed before we arrived about seperate beds, we requested through booking.com for seperate beds and asked again when we arrived for seperate beds. Our room was a double bed. Whilst they responded quickly and ‘upgraded’ us it was frustrating to go through all that and hear yes yes yes but the result was a twin bed.
- David (8/5): - The Staff is excellent. Very welcoming and gracious. This included the housekeeping staff. My room was a jr suite with private terrace. Excellent place to unwind and observe the city of Cairo. If you are a late night person, the bar/club in the basement is poppin' until 4 am which is a nice option to have. The hotel also offers 24 hour room service, which is another bonus given the properties price point. I have paid more and gotten much less in amenities. I am assuming this mostly due to the dust in the Cairo air, but the floor in my room had a film of dirt that shows up on your feet and socks. And yes I did see the housecleaning staff mop out rooms... the grim just seems omni-present. It is what it is... Shrug...

- markuspizza80 (10/5): The best place in Cairo - Amazing location, great service and facilities. Zamalek is a great safe place where to be in Cairo, quiet and full of embassies. Everyone was great, our cleaning lady Menna was making sure all was clean and ordered in the room. At the hotel there's a great gym with view, breakfast was amazing with possibility to ask the cook for almost anything, the cellar downstairs is good but careful to the imported spirit prices. Nothing, maybe the view was not the best from my room but from the restaurant and gym it was great
- Karin (9/5): Mehr Ruhe, bessere Luft auf der Nilinsel - Auf der für Kairoer Verhältnisse ruhigen Nilinsel haben wir uns gut und sicher gefühlt, in der Nähe gibt es etliche Botschaften. Die Hotelzimmer befinden sich in den oberen Stockwerken, das Restaurant ist im 11.Stock ( kein Aussenbereich). Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet. Super leckeres Frühstück mit frisch zubereitetem Falafel oder Eiern, Pancakes. Zusätzliches Café im Erdgeschoss. In Laufdistanz viele hübsche Lokale direkt am Nil, auch diverse Anlegestellen für kleinere Ausflugsboote. Taxis haben wir einfach an der Uferstraße angehalten, das hat immer funktioniert. Wenn man keinen Balkon hat gibt es keinen Aufenthaltsbereich aussen ( im Sommer ist es eh zu heiß)

- MTraveler (6/5): Comfortable Room, but Disappointing Management & Communication - The room was nice, with a good view and exceptionally attentive cleaning staff. However, this is reflected in the relatively high price. I stayed at President Hotel Cairo Zamalek and overall found the experience mixed. The room itself was good and met expectations in terms of comfort and cleanliness. However, considering the price, I felt it was somewhat overpriced for what was offered. The main issue was with the service and communication. Due to a sudden change in my travel plans, I requested to adjust my booking by checking out one night earlier and adding that night again two days later upon my return. This was not a cancellation, but simply a shift of one night, so from the hotel’s perspective there would have been no loss or change in the total stay. I submitted this request two days in advance both through Booking.com and directly with the hotel. Despite following up daily with the reception and repeatedly asking for a call from the manager, I did not receive any response at all - neither from management nor from the reception. No callback was made, and my requests and messages remained unanswered for almost two days. Booking.com attempted to assist, but without any reply or confirmation from the hotel, nothing could be processed. This complete lack of communication and responsiveness was very disappointing and had a strong negative impact on my overall experience.

- Barbara (8/5): Pleasant stay - The room was large with two comfortable beds. The bathroom too was large and apparently quite new, with a spacious shower, which however was leaking. They serve a generous breakfast in a nice space. The hotel is located in a quite spot, with lots of restaurants nearby. It is an area where you can easily find a Uber to go anywhere, from the GEM to the airport, at a much cheaper price compared to a taxi organised through the hotel. They very nicely allowed us to check-in early after a long trip on a night sleeper train! They allow guests to smoke in the restaurant area and apparently also in some rooms, as cigarette smoke could be smelled n our floor, so make sure to ask for a non-smoking room far from any smoking area. Not all rooms are of the same quality. When we stayed in the same hotel at the end of our trip, the room was even larger than the first one, but a bit older, especially the bathroom, and was located under the restaurant, so it was noisy, especially early in the morning.
