Loved that it wasn't on a touristy street, you can get to all the sites by public transport or taxi if you want to but the area itself is quiet enough with excellent restaurants and wine bars nearby. Hotel is good at what it does: simple, affordable quality with great service.

Cela dit, j'y retournerai dans cet hotel en juillet pour un autre séjour sur Paris

Fantastic balance of amenties for value, with complimentary drinks available both in the room and in the common areas as well as a good mix of snacks and fruit starting in mid-afternoon. Access to other Astotel facilities for snacks, drinks, and restrooms throughout Paris was outstanding. Staff were very attentitive and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to return.

They also kindly provided a European adapter for free when I realized I didn’t have one. The room was cleaned beautifully every day, and the complimentary minibar refills were a really nice touch. When we were leaving, the staff even offered to store our luggage for us, which made everything so much easier I would love to have more hair conditioner and body lotion in the bathroom

The hotel has a whimsical, charming theme that really made our stay feel special and unique. Our room was very clean and well-maintained, and housekeeping did a great job refreshing it daily. The beds were comfortable, which made it easy to relax after long days exploring Paris. The minibar was thoughtfully stocked with a variety of beverages, which we appreciated. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast—it was top tier with a great selection and high-quality options. We also loved that snacks were available until 2am, which came in handy after late nights out in the city. The staff truly stood out—they were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout our stay. The only downside was that the rooms were a bit small, but that’s fairly typical for Paris and didn’t take away from the overall experience. I absolutely loved staying here and would definitely return in the future!

All rounder! - Here’s a polished and more structured version of your review while keeping your tone and experience intact: ⸻ Fabulous staff and a clean, stylish hotel Words can’t fully describe how lovely the staff were at the George Astotel—especially Paul. The hotel is in a fantastic location, surrounded by plenty of charming restaurants and cafés. It’s a clean, fun, and trendy area, just a 5-minute walk to the nearest metro station and around a 25-minute walk to the Louvre. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. We especially loved the complimentary drinks in the fridge—it was such a nice touch. The hotel also has a really fun and stylish interior, with lots of “Instagram-worthy” spots if that’s your thing. We had an incident near the Arc de Triomphe, and Paul truly went above and beyond to help us. He insisted on contacting the police, as he strongly believes such incidents shouldn’t be tolerated. I was initially hesitant, thinking nothing would come of it, but Paul was incredibly kind and supportive throughout. Even though English isn’t his first language, he handled everything with such care—it genuinely meant a lot to us. He is an absolute credit to the Astotel group, and I hope management recognises his outstanding support. Other staff members also deserve recognition, including Savouen and his colleague on Friday afternoon (17th), whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch. They recommended some great nearby restaurants. Even the cleaning staff and the ladies serving snacks were always smiling, warm, and welcoming, which really added to the overall experience. This was our first stay with the Astotel group, and it certainly won’t be our last. The service, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere make this hotel an excellent all-rounder.

Well located, modern clean and bright, rooms small but well laid out, comfy beds, friendly and attentive staff, , capsule coffee in reception, complimentary soft drinks in room, snacks in afternoon, breakfast good choice and v.good value. Nearly a five star for value but shower cubicle just a tad too small and lift a tad too slow. Overall though, great value and would keep at top of list for a return to Paris.

We loved the sweet and savoury treats available after 2 pm and the soft drinks water and coffee 24-7. Highly recommend this hotel. It was my 7th visit to the city and I was very happy to discover this hotel and neighborhood.

• neila498 (10/5): Fantastic City Hotel - We visited Paris 14th - 17th April 2026 , and chose Hotel George after reading other travellers reviews . We were not disappointed. Great location main attractions only a 15 minute walk away . On arrival we were greeted by the staff who were very friendly and helpful , we arrived before our check but let us leave our bags in safe baggage room and told us our room would be ready in an hour . We went out to explore Paris and returned to a hotel George 5 hours later and checked in . We had a 3 bed room with roof terrace , it was lovely just the right size for the 3 of us . Decent size bathroom and shower . The beds were very comfy too and whilst there probably had the best night sleep ever. There’s a free safe in the room which was ideal for keeping passports and valuables safe . The free non alcohol mini bar was a great touch too refilled every day . Breakfast there was a good selection of continental breakfast along with , yogurts , pastries, juices and some warm food ( scrambled egg , bacon and hash browns / potato bites . Just right to start the day off , before exploring the amazing City . Even when we wanted to book a taxi the hotel staff sorted this out for us too . I would not hesitate to stay here again and look forward to returning again soon . If your looking for a great hotel in a great location with a personal feel this is the place go .

Easy 10-15 minute walks to Boulevard Hausmann in one direction and Montmartre in the other. Thoughtful and attentive staff. Very good breakfast offerings that get the day off to a great start. Light snacks and refreshments available all day long. With your room key, you can pop into the other Astotels for restroom use if needed. Rooms were clean and quiet. Though the room was a bit small, I understand from a coworker that all Paris hotel rooms are small. It was spacious enough for larger luggage for my two week trip and a dry cleaner/laundry conveniently located across the street, if you want to pack on the lighter side. The in-room desk was petite, but the cafe tables were available during the day and I found working there quite comfortable (and near the snacks!). The shower had terrific water pressure.

We used it as a base to explore Paris and the hotel is close to two metro lines for easy transport. It is a great value for money so I would recommend it to everyone!

It's generally a hotel I would recommend friends to stay in if they travel to Paris. The location of the hotel was also great as it's within very walkable distance to nearby metro stations. The staff at the hotel were very kindhearted and patient. I accidentally left a sweatshirt in the room, and the staff helped me to first ship it to Italy (for some reason the delivery was not successful), and eventually ship it to my address in the US after the package was returned. I really appreciate their help.

• 153marybeth (10/5): Great stay at George Hotel - Such a lovely experience staying a week at this charming boutique hotel. They restocked the free mini fridge daily and provided snacks each afternoon that we came to rely on when returning late each evening! The rooms are small but manageable. Very clean and they still attended to my room daily! All employees spoke English which was very helpful.

• Aurelie (9/5): - Le personnel était très accueillant. Les femmes de ménages et la dame de la salle du petit déjeuner étaient très sympas et souriantes. L’hotel est propre et j’ai tout particulièrement apprécié la salle du petit déjeuner! Les chambres sont pas très bien isolées et nous entendions les personnes parler dans la chambre d’à côté.
