• Tdiddy1 (10/5): Great location in a comfortable hotel - The location of this hotel was exceptional. Close to a subway line and also close to a lot of local sights. Our room was small but comfortable and the staff was helpful. Would stay here again. Close to so many restaurants. Room was small, but it's Tokyo, we were not disappointed.

• Prakhar (10/5): Amazing stay!! - The check-in & check-out process was seamless. The location is great too, since metro lines & subways are quite close. The rooms were nice too. A bit small, but that's almost how all the hotels are, in Tokyo.

• Diana (10/5): Great staff and location! - Great location. Close to Sensoji Temple and many attractions in Asakusa. Room was a decent size. Friendly staff. Complimentary Asahi beer between 4-7pm in the lobby. Lawson and Family Mart nearby. Mister Donut across the street. No water provided in room. There is a ice and water vending machine on the floor.

• Susan (9/5): Comfortable bed in a good location - The location is very convenient to sightseeing and dining. The bed is comfortable and the bathtub is great. My room had a large window that opened slightly and I could see Skytree. The pillows are very hard and flat and after one night I saw that they had soft ones to borrow. They were much better. The breakfast was mediocre.

• David-Moïse (9/5): Amazing location in the heart of cultural Tokyo. - The location was easily the best option. It was right across Tawaramachi subway station, Connected to the Ginza line. Senso Ji and other landmarks of Asakusa are right around the corners and many good places to eat and drink during the day. This made my first ever stop in Japan really easy and comfortable. I chose a room for 1 person, the bed was big enough ( was actually kind of a 2 person bed ) but the room felt a big cramped when you got a big and small luggage. As I was away most of the time during the day , this was not the biggest bother for me anyway. The bed pillows were very firm though, not so comfortable to sleep with.
• Ogu (3/5): - スタッフの方の対応はとても丁寧で印象も良かったです。 目的地にも近く、とても行動しやすかったです まず、部屋に入ってすぐトイレに入ったら排水溝から強烈な臭いがして、黒カビもすごかったです。 ハウスダストやカビに反応してしまい、しばらくくしゃみや鼻水が止まらず不快でした。 今はまだ問題ないかとは思いますが、洗面台や浴槽にヒビが入っている箇所が気になりました。 年々 宿泊費が上がっていくなかで、このようなアレルギー反応が出るほどの清掃レベルだとガッカリしてしまいます。 もう少し清掃面や点検を徹底していただきたいと思いました。

Yes it was on the smaller/squishier side, however you’re out and about during the day so you need to remember that it’s resting spot. I really enjoyed this place and location was perfect, I would come back. Thank you Hotel Sunroute Asakusa! 2 things I didn’t like: they have hard pillows (however they do have soft pillows on request, they do run out quickly tho). I went in May and I found the room gets quite hot, so I had to keep the air con on all the time

Close to the station, restaurants and to key sights/attractions. Room was reasonable, clean and quiet. Shower was good and the space was adequate for my needs. You got free beer in the early evening (but I didn’t make use of this!) It could do with a facelift, it was a bit dated - but fair, for the price point. The staff were mixed. Some were welcoming, and tried to be helpful, others seemed a bit put out when I asked them questions.

• Louis (1/5): Frightening Experience - Nothing I experienced an extremely upsetting and unacceptable incident at this hotel. Immediately after checking in, I lay down on the bed to relax and felt an intense burning heat on my body. When I touched the sheets, they were damp and had a strong chemical odor. It became clear that a harsh cleaning solution had spilled on the bed and gone completely unnoticed. Thankfully, I was wearing several layers, but the burning sensation was still frightening and deeply uncomfortable. I notified the staff right away. They acknowledged the issue and moved me to another room. I asked them to inform the manager and provide a clear explanation of how such a potentially dangerous oversight could occur. The receptionist assured me they would speak with management and follow up, but they never did. The negligence behind this incident was entirely unacceptable. At the very least, they should have offered a refund for the night as a courtesy. Instead, they didn’t even offer an apology. I will not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.
• Jeffrey (9/5): Great budget hotel near major attractions and rail lines - My main choice of hotel whenever i fly to Japan/Tokyo. It is close to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and is easily accessible to Ueno station which is major hub for train transfers. I also love that it is close to Sensoji Temple and Asakusa Don Quixote. Also from 4pm-7pm, they offer free beer on tap.

• Federica (9/5): Siamo stati benissimo! Consigliato se si vuole visitare Asakusa. - Posizione ottima, vicina al tempio Senso Ji e alla metro. Struttura pulita. Staff disponibile. Le stanze sono molto piccole.

• Leslie (9/5): - Comfortable twin room, although a bit difficult to layout two suitcases - room was large enough but floorspace heavily occupied with desk/dresser. Liked that there was a small table and 2 chairs in room, and beds were comfortable. Location was great for exploring and using public transportation - and lots of great little restaurants tucked in the alleyways within a short walk. Beer in the lobby for end of day chat with others was nice. Although there was a kettle in the room, there was no coffee - even some instant coffee would have been nice as a different option from the tea provided.

Peu de bruit parasite, bonne isolation. Chambre petite si plus d'une personne et même si deux restaurants disponibles pour le petit déjeuner, choix limité.

• Katarina (7/5): - It is well located. The staff wasn’t very freindly and forthfoming. There was very bad air circulation in the bathroom and it stank. The room had a funny smelo as well. We had ti have the window open all the time.
