• p (4/5): Weird experience honestly - Staff was great, hotel was alright if beat up. Elevator was sketchy and often didn't work due to doors not closing on other floors. The area it was in was not great, people shooting up right out front most afternoons wasn't what I expected.
• Alain (6/5): deux séjours à 8 jours d'interval, changement d'hôtel la prochaine fois... - Mis à part un réceptionniste qui n'a rien fait de nos demandes, les personnels sont très pro et à l'écoute. la situation dans Athènes est intéressante. Les objets mis à disposition notamment pour la toilette sont très complets (Loofah, brosses à dents, kit rasage en plus des savons et gels douche), ainsi qu'une bouteille d'eau et de quoi chauffer l'eau et faire du thé... Le petit déj. est de bonne qualité, varié et copieux... Nous avons faits deux séjours, 5 nuits au total. Les chambres ont besoin d'une rénovation sérieuse, les fenètres sont en simple vitrage alors qu'elles donnent sur une avenue très passante... la propreté est douteuse, les sols sont vieillots, Un matelas correct, l'autre avait beaucoup vécu.....L'une des chambres n'avait pas rideau occultant, et le soleil entrait dans la chambre dès 5.30 du matin, Nous avons demandé ce type de rideau, on nous a répondu que l'hôtel était plein (ce qui était faux) et que l'on ne pouvait rien faire... Ajoutons que le quartier est en pleine mutation, mais qu'il y a pas mal de toxicos tout autour. Les nuits sont donc agitées (cris, insultes, sans parler de certains qui traversent l'avenue et se font klaxonner par les voitures)... Nous avons cependant constaté une présence policière importante et nous n'avons jamais été importunés. Dernier point, éviter le secteur avec des enfants, beaucoup de seringues et de pipes à crack à proximité immédiate de l'hôtel,

• Yannis Varakis (8/5): - Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν καθαρό, το προσωπικό ευχάριστο και εξυπηρετικό, το τσεκ ιν ήταν πολύ γρήγορο. Το δωμάτιο ήταν φωτεινό όλη τη μέρα και καθαρό γενικά. Η υπηρεσία το φρόντιζε σε μόνιμη βάση! Η θερμοκρασία ήταν διαρκώς καλή σαν σταθερή αν και δεν μπορούσα εύκολα να την εξατομικευσω στο ζεστό. Το κρεβάτι ήταν πολύ άνετο και σε ξεκούραζε βαθιά. Οριακά σαν ανατομικό. Η θέα (στον ορίζοντα και στα άλλα κλασικά κτήρια) ήταν καταπληκτική. Το κατάλυμα που χρειαζόμουν! Η αποχέτευση του δωματίου είχε μια περίεργη προς κακή οσμή και η κουρτίνα του μπάνιου ήταν μουχλιασμενη στις κάτω άκρες, γεγονός που με ανάγκασε να την κρατήσω έξω από τη μπανιέρα και να γεμίσει το πάτωμα νερά. Εκτός δωματίου κάποια πράγματα στο εσωτερικό ήθελαν επιδιόρθωση όπως τα τζαμάκια στο ασανσέρ, οι προστατευτικές πόρτες του θαλάμου του ασανσέρ, κάποιες σκισμένες ταπετσαρίες σε κάνα δυο τοίχους, η μία από τις δύο τοστιέρες στο μπουφέ, μια λερωμένη/φθαρμένη επένδυση ενός από ντυμένα καθίσματα σε ένα τραπέζι πρωινού. Αν και δεν επηρεάζουν την προσωπική άνεση, παίζει το ρόλο του και αυτό στη διατήρηση της κατά τ άλλα πολύ πετυχημένης ατμόσφαιρας του νεοκλασικού.

Gebäude, Lift, Flure und Zimmereinrichtung sehr abgenutzt, schimmeliger Duschvorhang im Bad, schmuddelige Sitzbezüge im Frühstücksraum. Das weitere Umfeld des Hotels wirkt nicht einladend, neben ansehnlicher Kirche und Theater viel verfallene Bausubstanz.

• Angermaier (1/5): Worst hotel stay - Nothing. After we arrived we preferred rather to book another hotel than to sleep there. Even though the hotel offered us the refund they have never paid it. The rooms where dirty, the furniture was broken, the Matratze we're so uncomfortable. The Staff couldn't even describe properly where the room was and we had to go three times back to the check in. We saw some bad reviews but would have never guessed it's that bad. I have never paid a stay and than left.

Odada küvet var ama çalışmıyor yapılmıyorsa normal duş olsa daha iyi. Çocuk için yatak çok kötüydü. Kahvaltı her gün aynı şeyler bence değişiklik olması lazım bazen. Klima çok sesli ve düzgün çalışmıyor.

Ενώ υπήρχε μικρό παιδί καθυστέρησαν αρκετά να ετοιμάσουν το δωμάτιο κατά την άφιξη κ την μέρα αναχώρησης τους ενημέρωσα ότι θα κρατήσω το δωμάτιο μέχρι της 6:30 κ πλήρωσα την διαφορά άρχισαν από της 4:45 να χτυπάνε της πόρτες να αδειάσουμε το δωμάτιο
• Spiridon (10/5): Value for money ξενοδοχείο στο κέντρο της Αθήνας - Πολύ όμορφο ξενοδοχείο για την τιμή του. Μας έδωσαν σουίτα ενώ είχαμε πληρώσει για double room. Πολύ φιλικό το προσωπικό στην ρεσεψιόν. Πολυ κεντρικά στην Αθήνα, λίγο επικίνδυνα το βράδυ αλλά πολύ τακτική παρουσία της αστυνομίας. Θα ξανά εμένα σίγουρα.

Lähellä pari todella hyvää kahvilaa. Yhdessä valikoima yksi parhaista koskaan. Hotellin aamupala ihan perus. Kahvia, jugurttia ja kananmunaa. Aamupalassa tärkeämpää olisi laatu kuin määrä. Hotelli jo vanha ja kulahtanut. Illalla hieman epämääräisen oloista narkkariporukkaa hotellin ympärillä. En kyllä todennut tilannetta mitenkään uhatuksi.
• Chengalvaroya (8/5): Would be my place of choice were I to visit Athens again - We hadn't opted for breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The location is central, very close to the metro, to markets, to food places in all price ranges, and there is easy access to sights and places worth visiting. (Special mention: the world class Archaeological Museum is just a 15 min walk away). The hotel building is old (in a somewhat charming way) and our room was well maintained - cleaned and facilities renewed everyday. The room was a little cramped, but with large windows and a nice view. (That's the pic attached). Overall, we had a comfortable stay. Of the 4 pillows provided, 2 could have been a bit firmer (seniors need some neck-support). The exhaust fan in the toilet was a little grumpy and slow to start. Needs a little tlc.

Je le recommande!

• Petra (4/5): - Gyalogosan könnyen elérhető a belváros, közel a metrómegálló. A hotel előtt hajléktalanok, de nem zavartak minket. Párhuzamos mellékutcában nem ajánlatos közlekedni (drogosok, prostituáltak). A környék zajos, a nyílászárók semmit nem érnek, füldugót ajánlok! A képek nem a valóságot tükrözik, kopott bútorok, borzalmasan silány matrac, pakolási lehetőség alig volt a szobában. A reggeli változatos volt, de a rántotta ehetetlen, amit nehéz elrontani, nekik sikerült.

HOTEL PÉSIMO - NO RECOMIENDO - Nada La zona es de lo peor de Atenas, llena de gente sin techo, pidiendo dinero, drogadictos… incluso duermen en la recepción del hotel!!! Muy mala imagen!!!! Da miedo estar allí de noche… dicen que está cerca del metro, pero anda esos minutos de noche, para que te atraquen!!! Las instalaciones muy descuidadas, habitación con muebles rotos, aire acondicionado que hacía un ruido que no podías ni dormir, la ducha que no cerraba la mampara, el sumidero no tragaba… un despropósito!!! Desayuno malo… no se salva nada, no lo recomiendo ni regalado!! Otra pareja que viajaba con nosotros tuvo problemas con la cerradura de su habitación, la puerta se quedaba abierta… dijeron que habían llamado a un cerrajero y estaba arreglado, para sorpresa nuestra, al llegar, la puerta seguía SIN cerrar… como para dormir allí con la puerta abierta y los vagabundos en los sofás de la entrada

The location is not bad for accessing the city. The staff were super friendly. We were told it is being renovated which it definitely needs.

• Salomé (1/5): Je ne reviendrai pas. - Rien car nous n’avons pas pu y avoir accès. On nous a transféré dans un autre hôtel. Simplement le personnel de l’hôtel où nous avons été transféré était très gentil. Le fait qu'à notre arrivée on nous transfère dans deux établissement différents car il y a un « problème avec notre chambre ». L'établissement où nous avons été transféré n'est pas du tout du même style, entouré de dro**és et prosti*****, avec des odeurs d'égout dans la chambre et une douche qui fait des chaud froid. L'eau de la douche fuyait par dessous inondant la moquette de la chambre.

Au fait, c'est fatigant ... à notre départ, nous avons encore rappelé l'offre Booking… et là, on a eu quand même notre bouteille… trop fatigante de demander ... (c'est question de principe !)

• Lisa (4/5): - I realize it is a historic older building, but the bed mattresses were very thin and lumpy, the common area rugs were very worn, our patio door had a defective lock because the wood on the door frame was broken and the glass on the door had several large cracks. It appeared that the door had been broken into. There was debris in the area outside our room and in the common area outside the entrance. But the biggest inconvenience was no hot water for two days. The staff was very helpful and friendly though.

We had no A/C, no remotes, and the rooms were not very clean. We were told they were ‘honoring’ all reservations made prior to the takeover. The service people did the best they could but it was a pretty atrocious hotel. The maintenance workers were not interested in helping at all.

At first glance the neighborhood looks a little rough but we felt completely safe walking even at night. Its within walking distance of the old town and its attractions. The staff is awesome and the place.is spotless.

• Akshara (1/5): Would never recommend!!!!!!!!! - Staff were kind We stayed at Delphi Art Hotel on May 13–14, 2025, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Our room (502 – Alexia) had bed bugs, which was extremely unhygienic and upsetting. We reported it to the front desk and showed photo evidence, but the only alternative offered was a downgraded room on the 2nd floor with three single beds – not ideal or comfortable for a couple. This was meant to be a special trip, but the situation caused a lot of stress. While the staff were polite and did what they could, the lack of proper resolution and the fact that we had to request a refund ourselves was disheartening. Definitely not the experience we expected from a hotel of this standard.

The location seems convenient, but it is actually in a big drug district and people taking heroin in the benches next to the hotel entrance.

However when I reported the situation to the receptionist, I was disappointed by the lack of concern or assistance. I wasn’t expecting compensation but I did hope for at least some effort to investigate or address the issue. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that the property is not secure and I wouldn’t recommend it to others for that reason.
• Virginia (7/5): Helpful front desk - Due to the air strike on April 9, 2025 I had to spend another night in Athens and had to move hotels. Delphi Art Hotel was just a 10 minute walk away from where I was and reasonably priced. The front desk clerk was very nice, however the cleaning was not yet done so had to wait to check in. WiFi was rather poor in the room. The hotel could use some serious updating as it's quite old fashioned. The shower stall was small with just a flimsy curtain. I had an early morning flight and the front desk arranged for my taxi for a flat 50 euros - had to pay driver in cash. I slept very well though so the hotel fulfilled the purpose for me. The neighbourhood is a bit rough but on the main streets to the square it seemed safe enough. No personality to the hotel at all.

• Asem (2/5): - The hotel is not clean and does not deserve half a star. It is very old inside the rooms. The employee at the reception is very bad and treats me rudely. Something strange happened to me. I forgot a small bag in the room and returned two hours later. After I decided to leave the hotel and asked about it, they did not give me any information. Then I decided to call the police. Then the bag suddenly appeared.
• Ryan (10/5): Good price, good area, good hotel - The room was comfortable and quiet and I slept in the bed like I haven't slept in months.
• Thomas (3/5): Bed was comfortable thats about it? But rest of hotel is very outdated. - 1st Morning breakfast was warm, the bread rolls were a little stale, 2nd Moring breakfast was cold unpleasant this was because the waitress had left all food container open and no heat underneath...... very disapointing.
• Ariele (2/5): We try to stay in the room as less as possible - It’s cool the felling like retro-old-jazz mood that there is in the hotel. -Dirty hotel -The breakfast was not available in the hotel, we were sent in boss boutique hotel to have breakfast -The cleaning service was really bad From the window you can feel the wind outside, you can even look outside trough the wood frame. - the wall where all dirty

• Toniwalia (7/5): Great comfortable stay. - The hotel is located near a metro station and is within walking distance to major sightseeing spots. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was below expectation as it was the same throughout my 3 day stay. The safety deposit box in the room was not working and they could not repair or fix it during our 3 days stay there. We had to leave our laptops at the reception over and over again. Breakfast needs to improve. The coffee sucked. And if you are late like I was on my last day, most things are gone. :(
