FH_HH (10/5): - Upon arrival, team were exceptional. They made our stay very enjoyable. I was given an upgrade to a suite and this made the experience much better. Rooms were lovely, hotel itself was very well looked after. It was in the Central so captured the 10k race, FC Barcelona parade and much more. Great access to shops, restaurants and walking distance to gothic quarter and other museums. We even walked to the beach, took approx 35min, it was a nice stroll. Bus to & fro the airport is opposite the hotel. Ate breakfast once, they accommodated for a special request i made for my son. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Staff at reception and door men were always warm and friendly, always greeting with a smile. Nothing. All good

There are no individual controls. We have to switch off the master and that switches off everything including the charging station for phones and mobiles.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely choose to stay here again. The only item that needs improvement is the wifi. seaem01 (10/5): Simply the best hotel and staff - Hotel Olivia Plaza Barcelona was the perfect place to stay. It is located central to all points of interest. We booked a suite which was lovely. The room was a very good size with a good layout. It was clean, the bed comfortable, our room overlooked the plaza (we loved the view), and it was very quiet. We opted to include breakfast, which we would recommend. We enjoyed a late evening drink at the bar each night and the outside terrace was the perfect place to end each evening. The hotel is a short ride to/from the airport. The most remarkable thing about this hotel was the staff. From the very moment we arrived every single staff member we encountered was over-the-top welcoming, kind, and helpful. All were so happy to assist with anything and everything and at times offering help before we even asked! From making restaurant suggestions (and reservations), offering alternative bed pillows, giving us suggestions on points of interest, offering us a coffee upon our early morning arrival, showing us how to use the in room safe, opening the door with each arrival and departure, to mixing the perfect negroni, the staff were simply the best. We travel a lot and the staff here were remarkably different from other places we've been. We highly recommend this hotel.

orwomenlaw (10/5): Calm Oasis in the City Center - For a tourist with just a few days in the city, the hotel’s location on the Plaça Catalunya could not be better, with a metro stop, the terminal point for the express bus service to the airport, the Hop on Hop Off bus, and a taxi queue just to the right outside the door. Many tourist sites are within an easy walk, and restaurants and shops are abundant. The area is crowded with pedestrians, but when you are greeted by the friendly doorman and step through the doors of the Olivia Plaza, it’s quiet and calm. The interior courtyard where breakfast is served illuminates the lobby with natural light. We opted for the “double with view,” and had a spacious room on an upper floor. We could admire the Plaça and the hills beyond but didn’t hear street noise. I’m not a fan of the bathroom design. The toilet and shower are behind sliding glass doors, with the sink and vanity area open to the room. A very large person might have difficulty navigating behind the closed doors. Because of glass between the bathroom and the bed, there’s no way to turn on a bathroom light without having it shine on the bed. More important than this slight annoyance was how sparkling clean everything was. The additional amenities provided for travelers who are trying to minimize packing were exceptional: bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes and tiny tubes of toothpaste! I hope to visit Barcelona again, and will definitely opt to stay at the Hotel Olivia Plaza.

MONICA (10/5): Fuimos a conocer Barcelona, por lo que la ubicación del hotel era más que indicada porque está en pleno centro, cerca de - La atención del personal, siempre atentos a cualquier necesidad que teníamos, el desayuno muy completo, todo siempre muy limpio, la habitación hermosa con una vista estupenda Solo el wifi que no era bueno, pero no le quita el mérito de ser un excelente hotel, súper recomendable

Victoria (10/5): Amazing !!! Esperamos volver pronto !! Gracias por todo - Sfaff was amazing. Receptionist gave us a warm welcome, very emphatic. She noticed we were extremely tired so she offered a coffee and tried to hurry up the check in as soon as she could. That was truly appreciated. Walking distance from the ciudad gotica, casa La Pedrera, casa Batló, not far from Guëll Parc, there is a metro station right in the hotel door. We used biciclets to move around which are also at the hotel gate. - Room was perfect: extra sofa bed and spacious. There is a coffee station in the room and also in one of the floors. Place to chill/work. - Breakfast is 5 stars: all baked products are clean, fresh, organic and healthy as well as other gourmet options.
