The laundry room inside the hotel was a real bonus. Overall the staff were very nice and helpful. Its a stylish spot and the bar had some great drinks selections. I'm not sure how this hotel is a five star, I feel like it's closer to a 4.5 star primarily because they do not have a swimming pool or a spa and the breakfast is limited. In terms of the breakfast, they do not allow you to have multiple options on their menu and state there should be an extra charge also the buffet breakfast itself is very small for a five star hotel. No wheelchair or baby pushchair access into the hotel is odd.

- Joanna (10/5): Consistently high service, a prime location, and a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Lanson Place - We make a point of staying at Lanson Place Causeway Bay on every visit to Hong Kong, and it has consistently delivered a high standard of comfort and service. The boutique style creates a more personal experience, with attentive staff who are genuinely focused on making each stay smooth and enjoyable. The concierge team stands out in particular. They welcome guests with a level of care that feels familiar rather than transactional. Jin has consistently been the person who has helped us the most on every visit, assisting with planning our days, recommending places to go, arranging taxis, and clearly explaining directions and the best ways to reach our restaurants. That consistency and attention to detail make each stay relaxed and memorable. The breakfast offering is a highlight, with a well-balanced combination of a half à la carte menu and a small buffet selection. The quality of the food is consistently high, and the setting provides a relaxed start to the day. The staff are attentive and thoughtful. There was very little to fault, but if I had to be particular, the bathrooms are starting to show some early signs of wear. A light refresh would likely be enough to bring them back to the standard seen elsewhere in the hotel.

What truly stood out, however, was the service. Every staff member was attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Highly recommended!. Please consider expanding the breakfast menu. More daily variety in the hot food section and more fresh healthy options would be a great improvement. Expanding the menu would definitely enhance the overall guest experience.

В меню входило два горячих блюда - омлет, яйца-пашот и два сладких блюда. Отдельно омлет/яичницу/горячие вафли не готовят.

Location was also very convenient to transport and food options and shopping The size of the room was quite pokey as it was a corner room. We were 3 couples all booked a king size room but as ours was a corner room, the layout made the room space very small. It should not be marketed as a king room as we felt it was not the same value given when compared to our friends’ King size rooms.

Einziger Wermutstropfen war der zeitweilige Essensgeruch aus der Klimaanlage.

Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Staff (especially Tiffany) was very responsive when we notified them of high humidity in room due to the rainy season, they offer to bring up a dehumidifier immediately which helped a great deal and made the stay more pleasant and comfortable. Carpet in room could be cleaner.

The couch and bed, super comfy. - My husband and I usually stay in central when we go to Hong Kong. This time it was for a few weeks and we found this lovely place. Lanson Place in causeway bay. Two bed apartment. Bright fresh and spacious. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Our serviced apartment was kept fresh and clean. The hum of the airconditioners was a great white noise device. No sounds to disturb us. The kitchen had enough cookware that on the odd occasion I cooked I lacked for nothing.having a washing machine was great. The gym was very useful .My food panda deliveries were promptly brought to me. We felt very looked after. The price we got charged was quite acceptable for Hong Kong. Definitely would recommend a long stay with these amazing people. Side note. Hudson’s caffe is around the corner and a fabulous little caffe to have something to eat. The best French toast ever.

- InspektorSloggi (10/5): A very good boutique hotel that kept getting better - A very nice small boutique hotel in a top central location in Hong Kong. The stay started a bit patchily, with some service inconsistencies, but after a short discussion the hotel really stepped up and then gave excellent service. Nina and Erica in particular deserve credit, as they definitely helped save the experience. We had a Prestige Suite, which was cozy and had everything we needed. The bed is a little on the firm side, but still absolutely fine. A real highlight was the afternoon canapé and Champagne service. It was actual Champagne rather than just sparkling wine, and the mixologist made a real effort to come up with new cocktails each day. Breakfast is a combination of buffet and à la carte and was very tasty throughout, even if the buffet itself is rather small. The one thing I would clearly change is the breakfast timing: finishing at 10:00, even on weekends, is too early for a hotel like this. Overall, the stay improved noticeably over our five days there, and by the end the staff was consistently super friendly and helpful. Recommended. The property is publicly listed as Lanson Place Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, following its 2024 reopening after renovation.

- Mrswc614 (10/5): Dinner in a French manor - Came here to celebrate my best friend's birthday. It was a rainy day but once you step into the building, you start to de-stress. The decor and atmosphere reminds you of an Haussmannian apartment and you feel like a guest invited to dinner by a very stylish madame. Our biggest delight is that the service team provides just the right amount of attention - they do the necessary introduction and then leave the table - giving us time and space to talk, de-stress (again), and then dissect the menu. There's a very fine line between attentive service and hovering and we think this team got this balance to the dot. The menu is not huge, but it covers quite a good range from starters and soup to main and dessert. We liked that it was simple, honest good food - again, what you would expect if you're dining at someone's home. The beef bourguignon alone will make you want to come back again and the apple galette at the end sends you home full of love. So glad I picked this place to celebrate my friend's special birthday.
- Seraphimin (10/5): Fabulous retreat from HK hectic pace - We spent 10 nights in Lanson Place and chosen it as it was lauded as a boutique luxury hotel and it most definitely is! We loved our stay. Great corner room on the 22nd floor couldn’t be better. We came to HK to see our son & meet his (serious) girlfriend and had dinner with them on one night. We would definitely book the hotel again, but none of us rated the food as that great. Mediocre as best. No trained mixologist either. We ate elsewhere and drank at the Mandarin Oriental which has a fab bar. However in terms of service from concierge level to room service it was superb. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clearly there are some great design choices made when furnishing them. If you love the Causeway Bay Area and want somewhere to escape from the hectic pace of HK then Lanson Place is the best place to do this … and in absolute luxury.

The room layout was a little smaller than I initially expected, but I’ve since learned that this is fairly standard for Hong Kong and in practice, it worked perfectly well for a very comfortable stay. What sets this hotel apart is the experience. From start to finish, everything felt faultless. The level of care, attention to detail and genuine kindness shown by the team was exceptional the staff are a real credit to the hotel. The location is fantastic for exploring Hong Kong, and if I’m lucky enough to return, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to stay here again. What a wonderful place

Location: Conveniently situated near the MTR, major bus lines, department stores, and local shops, the hotel sits in the heart of the vibrant city—yet still offers peace and quiet when you need it. Atmosphere: Upscale, serene, and elegant. My husband especially loved the tasteful art books displayed in the lobby. Room: We stayed in a newly renovated one-bedroom suite with a separate living room and bedroom. The space was beautifully appointed and thoughtfully designed, making it incredibly comfortable and restful. Value: The breakfast and happy hour offerings are both high quality. Amenities such as complimentary laundry on the 5th floor and the modern, spacious gym are excellent. It was worth every dollar we spent. Cleanliness: The housekeeping and room service staff are meticulous and attentive. Everything felt fresh, new, and spotless. Noise Level: Despite its central location, the hotel is remarkably quiet. The building and windows are well constructed, effectively blocking out street noise. Service: Last but certainly not least, the staff truly make this hotel outstanding. В этом же ресторане были на обеде, все очень вкусно. Самое прикольное, что только при выезде поняли про бесплатный бар в номере (входил в стоимость). В следующий раз обязательно воспользуемся. -

Superbly professional and warm service from all staff; a beautiful, well-designed mini-suite (you can see all the layout options in detail on the excellent website); and a wonderful breakfast, with high-quality items and a calm and friendly atmosphere which befits the small and exclusive feel of the hotel. Location is excellent, less than 5 mins walk from Causeway Bay MTR, and plenty of modest eating options all around. Only criticism: not enough hangers in the room!

The room design also I like wooden floor with white tone design. Also want to highlight their breakfast not so many choices but good quality but hope they can order to make menu to be unlimited that will be great match their luxury hotels standard .

- Julia731 (2/5): No soundproofing - We stayed in one of the prestige suites, the room was spacious and airy and clean. The room faces the school courtyard so not alot of traffic noise. However, breakfast in the restaurant was left something to be desired for and after 1 breakfast we decided its not worth it. The prawns in the wonton and the har gau were both tasteless, presumably using frozen prawns - and is an absolute disgrace in HK. The worst is the lack of privacy in the rooms. Walls are so thin we could hear EVERYTHING from the guests next door - their conversation word by word, their flushing of toilets, their showers, their using of hair dryer, and their kid waking up to nightmares and crying from their bedroom in the middle of the night. The fact that we heard them surely meant we were heard as well and that was creepy to say the least. Buildings in HK, including partitions are normally built with concrete walls, but the sounds are so unmuffled it felt as if they are just gib boards. We did not have any uninterrupted sleep during our 4 night stay, and on the day we checked out our neighbour started their morning routine at 5am and we couldnt get back to sleep afterwards. I certainly will NOT stay in this hotel EVER again.

- VancTraveller (10/5): Superb service, first class accommodations - We held a family Christmas reunion in Hong Kong and our party stayed at Lanson Place Causeway Bay, taking up to 12 rooms at a time and staying up to 16 nights. I also had a one night stay myself prior to the reunion. We stayed at various categories of rooms including standard guestroom, XL guestroom, studio guestroom and Prestige suite. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and have no hesitation in recommending Lanson Place. Lanson Place joined the GHA Discovery hotel loyalty program so I was able to enjoy benefits as a Titanium member including upgraded room, welcome amenity, complimentary breakfast, early check in and late check out. The welcome amenity was high quality - plate of fruits, trendy sparkling tea and a useful tote bag. The hotel was completely renovated less than 2 years ago and so everything was still fairly new and pristine. All of the room finishes and furniture were high quality - loved the very firm sofa in the living room of the Prestige suite. The fitness centre occupies almost an entire floor and is huge, clean, uncluttered and not crowded. If anything, the hotel could probably place more equipment in the fitness centre as there was so much open space, perhaps a second incline bench for the free weights. There was also a complimentary self laundry room with 3 washing machines and 3 dryers. This was a very popular amenity and well used by guests, but we seemed to be able to find times when machines were available for our use without too much difficulty. It also helps that staff seemed to be checking on the machines periodically and emptying laundry from machines that were finished with their wash or dry cycles. We enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast and while it was a fairly small buffet with limited items paired with a small a la carte menu of eggs, crowaffle and wonton noodle soup, again the quality of the food was evident. The dim sum, congee and salads on offer change on a daily or two days basis. I especially appreciated the salads which were quite fancy and health focused. I also tried the complimentary happy hour that is included with the Prestige suites and was impressed that they offer daily canapes, 3 cocktails and non-alcoholic options that change each day. We had Christmas dinner at the hotel restaurant and thought the multi course Christmas menu was delicious and very well cooked. Above all, we appreciated the superb service throughout the hotel from porters to concierge to front desk to restaurant servers to cleaners. Everyone was friendly and cheerful and performed their tasks well. Our stay was a complicated one logistically since we were a large group, occupied a lot of rooms, had different check in and check out dates and time, and had both a toddler and a senior in a wheelchair in our group but the hotel handled our needs perfectly. We enjoyed our stay very much and would have no hesitation returning to Lanson Place.

Wonderful breakfast selection to wake up to each morning at their well appointed dining room. Location was so ideal, just a few steps to the MTR and tram and you are right in the middle of lively, bustling Causeway Bay while also feeling the tranquility and luxurious stay. Bonus was the laundry room which was well serviced by staff however can get busy in the evening.

Мы искали номер с кухней. Она в нём действительно была и даже была плита, но мы не нашли ни сковороды, ни кастрюли, ни других кухонных принадлежностей. Здесь был только холодильник, две тарелки, две вилки и два ножа. Возможно, кухонные принадлежности надо было как-то отдельно просить, но считаю, что номер с кухней должен быть оборудован всем необходимым по умолчанию.

- Jenny (10/5): Fabulous luxe hotel in a great location. - I stayed at this hotel a decade ago and loved it and service was good then. It was renovated recently and i am so glad I stayed again as it is so elegant and comfy and the entire team of staff is terrific! The staff like Tiffany, Holly, Polly and Kevin are very helpful and friendly and very.responsive. Whatever I asked for it got done fast. Really fast. As a small hotel the staff ratio is good and it feels personalised. The decor and rooms are very well designed and caters to practically all needs. Am also very impressed by the breakfast. Good range and very good quality fresh delish food and good coffee. They even serve free flow Prosecco at brekkie and in the evenings! Service staff at the restaurant are very attentive too. Location is great as is near malls and shops and five min walk to Causeway Bay Mrt.station. The pillows i got at first were unusually overly huge, heavy and flat and uncomfy. Had to ask for foam pillows but only got one. Hope they change the original bad pillows and have more foam ones. Bed was very comfy. Tissues in tissue box are small.and thin. Pls provide bigger better tissue paper.
