- Ellisa (8/5): I love Italy but will never stay in Naples again. - The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Nice breakfast The location is right by the train station and there were many homeless just in front of the hotel. As two women traveling alone we did not feel safe walking around the area. My daughters phone was taken put of her pocket a block away from the hotel.

- Paul (10/5): Great hotel , not a great city - The hotel is a really good hotel with nice rooms and a lovely restaurant and rooftop bar. As a short 1 night layover it’s perfect and so close to the rail station . It’s in Naples . Such a shame that the city felt unsafe and was so dirty. Grateful the hotel was so nice as we stayed there for 95% of our time and it was made pleasant by the excellent team .

Genug Platz in dem Executive Zimmer. Schöne Dachterrasse mit Blick über Neapel. Frühstück war ok. Zimmereinrichtung in die Jahre gekommen. Kein schönes Umfeld des Hotels (Obdachlose, Bürgersteigmarkt). Personal professionell, aber nicht freundlich. Etwas stark verwinkelt. Macht von aussen mehr her als von innen.

- nicolebV6607SX (6/5): Convenient to train station; but loud, and bad shower - The good: very nice staff, very convenient to train station. We booked here because we had booked a Pompeii/Herculaneum tour and this was one of the hotels that the tour would pick up at. So our first goal was convenience, and this hotel did that very well. The restaurant was pretty good - wonderful staff, good selection, we ended up eating there a couple of times. The breakfast had some vegan options which my partner appreciated. Overall seemed clean, the room was decent size. Shout out to the common area artwork featuring hotel staff members. The downsides: first, the shower was pretty awful. If it had just been adults it might've been ok, but with a small child this was really disappointing. It was like a folding booth that enclosed the shower area, did not seal fully along the bottom and the walls were not stable meaning if you bumped them even slightly (which was impossible not to do as it's about phone booth sized) the walls would sort of fold in on you and even more water got all over the place than previously due to the lack of seal. Created a huge mess even with adults being careful; with an uncoordinated child it was a bit of a water park situation and not in a good way. The other issue was that the A/C in our room did not seem to be working and our room faced the square/train station. The noise outside is incredibly loud and there aren't really quiet hours - so opening the windows overnight wasn't really an option. Very much like being in a place like New York City in terms of the noise is just unending. The soundproofing was quite good, so if the A/C had been working this would not have been an issue. If we'd been staying longer I might have asked to change rooms but we were there only 2 nights and the second night was cooler fortunately, but I'd be wary of staying here in the summer. Finally as you might expect given the noise, the traffic is bonkers out front and crossing the streets is pretty challenging. If you've traveled in or lived in a big city before you'll be fine, you just have to be confident about crossing, but this is another thing that was a bit challenging with a small kid and suitcases. tl;dr the hotel was fine for a brief stay to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum with minimum effort required (easy to get to; easy to be picked up from; easy to get our train to Venice) but if I were coming back to Naples, particularly if I was returning with a child, I'd stay somewhere quieter and off the main drag, and with a better bathroom.

- Michael (8/5): Gute Wahl für eine Unterkunft in Bahnhofsähe - Zentral gelegen, zur Altstadt sind es nur einige Gehminuten, zum Zentralbahnhof auch. Schönes Zimmer und bequeme Betten. Gutes Frühstück. Nette Dachterrasse. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber hat dadurch auch seinen Charme.

- Hazel_Leonard (8/5): A lovely hotel - would definitely recommend - Lovely hotel - on the wrong side of town! Having said that, once you get your bearings, it’s easy to navigate around the less desirable areas. Nice room, very clean and well insulated from the chaos outside. Gorgeous rooftop terrace bar with lovely views. Good breakfast with lots of choice. We never found it to be too busy. Only criticism is that the hot options were only ever warm! Mimi’s restaurant a short walk away is worth a visit. Don’t be put off by the exterior. It’s a gem. Don’t miss the hop on hop off bus tour - essential to get your bearings and see gorgeous buildings!
- Alison (7/5): Ideal location for further travel on from Naples - Ideally located on Garibaldi Piazza as we were planning on getting trains to Pompeii and Sorrento. Fabulous corner room with shutters opening up onto the madness which is Naples below. Didn’t like the rough sleepers literally across the road from the hotel in the planted areas of the piazza- didn’t like the hawkers selling their wares on the pavement literally outside the hotel. Very disconcerting. Found Vesuvius rooftop bar service frustratingly slow and unfair in terms of order of service and where you were allowed to sit. There are no designated areas for hotel guests and it is open to non residents. Tried it three times so this wasn’t just a one off experience.

- Davide (10/5): Consiglio vivamente questo hotel. - Mi è piaciuta la struttura nel suo complesso e la mia stanza, ampia e pulita. Inoltre lo staff si è reso disponibile a cambiarmi la stanza in quanto il telecomando del televisore era fuori uso. Ho declinato l'invito ma ho molto apprezzato la gentilezza del gesto. Non mi è piaciuto il marciapiede esterno all'ingresso dell'Hotel, ingombro di cianfrusaglie causate da un improvvisato mercatino.

- Stephen (8/5): - We went to the archeological museum and to Pompeii/Herculaneum and this location was perfect. We came in on the train and left on a ferry, again you can’t improve on the location Downtown Naples is a bit scudgy but not dangerous
- Momo (7/5): - ナポリ中央駅から歩いて5分程度のところにあり、他都市や空港からのアクセスはとても便利です。ホテル内はきちんと清掃されており、滞在中特段困ることはありませんでした。ウェルカムドリンクとしてネスプレッソマシンがあるのが素敵です。 ホテルにたどり着くには、交通量の多い車道を渡る必要がありますが、車を見ながら注意深く進めば大丈夫です。ホテル前の広場に日中は大量の鳩がいるので少しびっくりします。 ホテルはカードキー式でしたが、どこにタッチすればいいのか少しわかりづらかったです。扉の横の電子パーツがはめ込まれていそうな微かなマークにタッチすると空きました。 施設自体は問題ありません。特に夜間は駅周辺をうろついている人がいるので、念のため注意しながら散策が必要です。

- Gonzalo Sebastián (9/5): Excelente opción. - El hotel está impecable, el desayuno es muy bueno y las habitaciones súper completas y modernas. Quizá haya un poco de ruido de la calle, pero te permite dormir igualmente. La gente habla de que el barrio se siente "inseguro", creo que en realidad hay que tener las precauciones racionales que hay que tener en cualquier lugar de no ir caminando con el celular en la mano y listo.

- Thomas (9/5): Schönes, sauberes und sehr freundliches Hotel. - Durch die Nähe zum Bahnhof und am Rand der Altstadt ev. nicht ganz optimale Lage, das wird aber durch das besonders freundliche Personal, der Sauberkeit und den vielfachen Verkehrsmitteln in unmittelbarer Nähe ausgeglichen. Wer nicht nur das Zentrum sondern auch außerhalb Neapel das Land erkunden möchte (Vesuv, Pompeji, Amalfi, etc.) ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

- Andrea (9/5): Great location and comfortable rooms - Staff was very helpful, breakfast was good and the room was very nice. My room was with a beautiful view of the station. Inside the room it's a little on the older side, but there is everything that you may need: from a desk to every power socket you may want. The position makes it one of the closest to the station, a little hard to cross the streets but still very easy to reach in a couple of minutes. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for renovations and the room was a little noisy since it was facing an always busy street. Aside from that everything else was pretty much perfect.

- gallusgallusdomestic (2/5): Sketchy area outside, but if you want to stay in for the evening, they don’t have functioning TVs - So the hotel room has a large TV in it. After our first day seeing all the sites, we were able to log onto Netflix and watch the first half of a movie. The second day, we got an error message saying network not found. No worries, probably something down and I had a book to read anyway. The third day after getting in, same issue. Decided to call the front desk as we had tried trouble shooting on our own and wanted to finish the movie we were watching the first night. The front desk told us that the TV’s weren’t ever connected to the internet (no Prime, no Netflix etc),they weren’t meant to be, and you can’t watch TV on the TVs at the hotel. Which… why bother having TVs if you don’t intend them to work? Why did it work the first night? It’s not a huge deal, it’s just annoying when you’ve spent 8 hours walking and want to zone out a bit to find out that they don’t have functioning TVs in the hotel. This would be less of an issue if the hotel was in a better neighbourhood Also, the pillows are strangely flat and not like pillows. They’re like the child pillows at Ikea. It’s right across from the train station, which is great for catching trains, less so for not smelling urine outside.
