The staff are do helpful Our room had a king size bed with a balcony. This was wonderful for your morning coffee The room is spotless clean The roof top garden is wonderful for breakfast in the morning, then cocktails in the evening You gave a wonderful view of Rome you can even see the vatacan ftom the roof top Breakfast is continental with a great choice I would recommend hotel diana
• heathereF8928FN (10/5): Highly recommend this hotel - Fabulous hotel, highly recommended. The staff were amazing, really went out of their way to be helpful. The rooftop bar is an added extra, lovely for an evening drink. The rooms are spacious and the beds are really comfy, very clean. The location couldn't be better, within walking distance to the attractions of Rome and plenty of restaurants near by. The metro only a few minutes away.

• jack76 (8/5): Pleasant Rome stay. - Very nice centrally located facility within walking distance of several attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room #331 exceptionally clean with coffee maker and fridge with items available for purchase. Totally anemic A/C unit had hardly any output. Fortunately nights were cool and open window kept room temperature comfortable. Cannot imagine what it would be like during much warmer weather. Roof top garden was one of the main reasons for booking here but it turned out to be a disappointment. Views were very nice but no service whatsoever. On first visit we waited over 1/2 hour for the one waitress to visit our table but she never did so we left. On second visit no staff were present at all. Weather permitting it would be a nice place to take in the sights of Rome at night but don't expect to receive any service. The breakfast buffet however is a totally different story. Very expansive offerings and numerous staff to clear tables and assist with any requests. A pleasant way to begin your day of touring. Based upon our roof top experience we did not attempt dinner at the hotel as there are numerous reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Overall, despite the few hiccups, we had a very pleasant stay and would consider booking again in the future.

I was putting in a room to the far left of the hotel and the showers and floors were in need of repair. The bed was horrible pillows were disgusting in addition.

• LK260316 (4/5): Very noisy at night! - We recently stayed here for our anniversary trip, our friend booked the hotel for us and there was a note from her in the room but no mention from the staff at all and no extra touches! We stayed in room 228 and it backs on to a service road where they have bin collections at night time which is very loud, you can even hear peoples conversations in the street. We slept so badly :( The breakfast is also a bit limiting and mediocre. The only good thing about this hotel is the location - you can walk to the colleseum and trevi fountain in around 20 minutes walk, also very close to the metro. It is about an hours walk to the Vatican so we got a taxi one way from the hotel which was €19. If you stay here definitely bring earplugs in case you back on to this road so that you can sleep!

We would recommend. - The only reason I gave this a 4 and not a 5 was due to a) the lack of aircon b) the very noisy back side of the hotel making it difficult to open windows. Otherwise the hotel was fantastic. Great bar. Great service from the bar man who kept us in snacks and aperol spritz all evening. The family room had two bedrooms, both with huge TVs that could stream Netflix which was great to come back to after a lot of walking in Rome. Great location for the station. Like I say, the only down side was our room was above the back of a bar or something and they seemed to be clattering a lot in the night and early morning. Not too bad for adults but for kids trying to sleep it was tricky.
• 45carolink (6/5): Good location but it’s not 4 star - The hotel reception might be 4 star however the rest of the hotel (especially the breakfast area) are not. The room and bathroom was good size, and the the location of the hotel is fantastic however 4 star is a big stretch. The AC in our room didn’t work, and the lifts were very scary to use.
• chloehH4071OL (4/5): This is not a 4 star hotel - This was my second stay at the Hotel Diana having also stayed in 2023. Since 2023 the quality of the rooms has decreased massively. We stayed in room 524 and it was a box room, me and my partner barely had any room to store our cases or items. In addition, the bed was awful we could feel the springs through the mattress and the pillows were so hard that I ended up with a migraine through lack of sleep. The bathroom also posed an issue as the sink was directly in front of the toilet which made it difficult to get onto the toilet. The shower also scolded you when you had one. The safe also did not work and the fridge went out whenever we left the hotel. The maids also chatted very loudly directly outside the room whilst we had the ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door. The positives were the location of the hotel as it was close to the tourist attractions Overall would not return as this was not a 4 star hotel- the reception area may be but the rest was not.

Lovely towels Room was small & airless with odd smell. Slept with window open so was noisy and smelly 1st thing. Shower room was tiny. Difficult to sit on toilet without banging knees on bidet or shoulder on sink. If washing your feet in the bidet whilst you are on toilet floats your boat you are in for a treat. 1st night, shower was scorching hot. Breakfast was okay but busy.
• Excursion34088802170 (8/5): Honest review - Hotel is very nice , our room was really modern but we swapped to floor 6 asthe internet wasn't working, the room on floor 6 was dated and had a strange smell , we went back down to our original room , the Internet was fixed the next day but the Internet itself was very poor, you certainly xould not work deom rhis hotel, the staff were friendly and approachable, the breakfast staff were quite lovely breakfast was lovely and a great variety but the evening restaurant menu was bland and not exciting at all ? The hotel is minutes away fron the termini, transport liks were fantastic, central Rome is a 20 min stroll away,Overall it was a lovely stay
• adrianmF2289JE (8/5): Pleased - We had a three night stay booked at this hotel. The location was good for our needs and the Metro and train station is conveniently nearby along with buses. All the staff we met were very helpful/ friendly. We only had cereal and toast for breakfast but there were other choices there. The room was nice but got a bit warm overnight, I couldn’t figure out how to make it cooler. Overall for a short stay we were pleased.
• mandig2023 (6/5): Room 612 - On arrival hotel looked fantastic clean and tidy, room was small and view looked onto a wall with and air con unit blowing back in and so noisy we couldnt keep our window open at night as room was so warm we had ask for a fan but room so stuffy, bathroom was smaller couldnt move in it, shower was a nightmare it was running hot and cold on and off Asked to go to roof top garden to be told it was only for breakfast and receptions, pretty poor since we had no other views If they say room 612 get a change Hotel was close to lovely restaurants and easy to get to places Walk, Bus and train links

• justinebA4071AR (4/5): Not the best ! 🙁🙈 - To say this is a 4 star hotel is a stretch of the imagination! On arrival our room which can only be described as one similar to a youth hostel or back packers hostel was tiny, you had to shimmy around the bedroom there was no room to pass each other, you had to walk sideways in the bathroom to get to the shower and your knees touched the wall when you sat on the loo! 🙈 To be fair they did move us the following morning when I asked but, it wasn’t really much better in that it was opposite the housekeeping room. From 5.30 every morning the girls clattered their trolleys, banged them up against the wall and spoke to each other so loudly that to be honest the only thing they lacked was a drum kit !! 🙄 The shower was an experience too whereby you had to go with either being scalded or frozen whilst the water just ran down the hose, under the shower screen and flooded the room, with a bath not being an option as the plug didn’t fit ! After walking a fair few thousand steps on our first day we got back to the hotel and needed a little sit down with a brew, only to find a bottle of bleach which had been left in a clear water bottle with no lid next to the kettle!! Good job the kettle didn’t work as that would’ve made an interesting brew !! 🙈 The location was pretty good but that’s where it ends, not far from the train & bus station, the metro and a 10 minute walk to the coliseum etc but unfortunately, the hotel just didn’t cut it for me 🙁
• Happiness58173573898 (8/5): Great location, great hotel. Perfect position to explore Rome. - Lovely hotel, well maintained, tidy, friendly staff. Two lifts to get up and down the stairs. Family room has a double bed and two twins - a bit challenging with older teenagers (lack of space) but adequate for a few days. Breakfast was a good selection of tasty food - great starter for a long day out exploring. Convenient location close to sites - all major sites except Vatican within 30 minute walk so no need for taxis. Plenty of great restaurants very close by. The best was Caffe Washington on the corner across the road. Highly recommend as a good base to explore Rome.
• BeckyHession (10/5): Excellent stay - This hotel is a 5/10 minute walk from The Termini Station. On entering the hotel is very clean and the staff are welcoming. We stayed in a twin room that was very large and very ornate. The breakfast was a mixture of continental and warm. You have the choice to sit inside or on the rod terrace which looks out across Rome. The hotels location for the various attractions is very good. We walked everywhere. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room was nice…we were on the 2nd floor facing front of hotel…if you are a light sleeper you would probably struggle with the noise from outside…but it’s not the hotels fault where it’s situated so I don’t hold that against them. Breakfast was nice & we were greeted every morning from a lovely lady who took our room number & took us to a table…a few morning we sat in doors & a few mornings we sat outside…if you are here for a days I would recommend sitting outside on the terrace at least once. Hotels location is perfect right near Termini station & a short walk to all the tourist sites & shops & restaurants all near. All in all a nice stay & would happily return if I came back to Rome. Only suggestion I would say is…check out is at 10am maybe move checkout to 11am as breakfast runs 7-10am it kind of overlaps & makes you rush about for the sake of an hour later which would be a nice touch for future guests. & being a 4 star maybe have a welcome bottle of water in the rooms (first hotel I have stayed & not received this.) • daniellejQ8488TL (8/5): Great service, breakfast and location, just avoid room 627 - Service, breakfast, location 5/5 but sadly our room let down the side. We ended up in a double (which we didn’t mind really as the bed was huge). The shower water was inconsistent, it would go scalding then freezing. There was a strange smell from the bathroom the second day. The room was really hot and we couldn’t work out the thermostat. We were also woken by the cleaners banging and talking very loudly in the cupboard next to our room. Basically I would return to this hotel BUT I will be avoiding room 627 and I advise you do too. Now I didn’t complain as all the things that bothered us happened after we’d settled in and we were only here for a short stay. I’d have definitely asked to move if it was a longer stay.
• caroliner265 (4/5): Avoid if you’re used to semi nice hotel rooms - Avoid room 101 aka the shoebox….or any room that faces inwards. We arrived early and the room was ready. The common areas are pleasant and clean & staff friendly. The room we had was small and stiflingly hot (in February) the air con doesn’t work or is not enabled in winter months (?) Regardless of this, the narrow bathroom is tired and very dated. The small bed is hard & uncomfortable. The tv was problematic. The “view” is awful if inward facing to the air con units. The wardrobe had one sliding door that was like a game of Tetris trying to manipulate it. The fridge did not work unless you leave the one door key plugged in. Breakfast was a shambles. No-one to greet you or check room number. Eggs and bacon stone cold despite being on a hot plate. Pastries were fine as u surely cant go wrong heating them up in an oven. Breakfast atmosphere was tense and awkward due to over population. The orange juice seemed fresh and pleasant. Very much a cheap and not cheerful hotel for my first experience in rome. I would not recommend. I hasten to add that we changed flight and checked out one day and night early because I felt the hotel was small, cramped, poor value for money and in a not so savoury area.
• 192clairw (8/5): First time to Rome Trip - Lovely clean updated hotel situated near everything you need to explore the city of Rome, breakfast was very nice and definitely something for everyone, the restaurant itself was quite small for the size of the hotel but we didn’t have to wait long as the tables were cleaned and made up again quickly. Make sure you read the prices of the mini fridge contents which is situated on the table otherwise you may think they are free, the bar downstairs was nice and cosy and the staff here are welcoming and serve you quickly. Make sure your door is double locked when you are in because we had a housekeeper just walk in our room without even knocking! Even though she apologised she did get an eyeful of my husband in his pants! Other than that a nice hotel.
• 946mariem (8/5): Nice Guest Service-Style Hotel, but Overpriced for What You Get - While planning our trip to Italy, I wasn't sure or knew anything about which decent areas to stay in Rome. Since I have a cousin who's in the travel business, I asked his advice on where to stay. He told me to stay near Via Cavour, and he also suggested this hotel. I was a bit surprised when I arrived because my cousin is highly particular with taste, style, and comfort, and although he's never stayed here, his business partner had. Well, I guess his business partner isn't picky. Rating this place was hard on Trip Advisor scale, and that's because it's a perfect balance between good and average in rating. The lobby is a bit early 90s dated, although they seem to be in the process of remodeling, so more on that later. The lobby area is also pretty small. When we first checked-in, we were brought to a room that was tons smaller than what I saw on Trip advisor, and it smelled like stale food. I realized then that the room was above the breakfast dinning area. When the room was dank and smelly, I immediately went to the front desk and informed them that I was disappointed in the room for the price we had paid, and also that I had been recommended the stay by my cousin who owns a travel business. I was seriously considering going down the street to Genova hotel, which we had stayed at earlier in our trip, and room was much bigger and we paid less. However, the desk clerk booked us into another room, which was bigger, and also had just been remodeled. This is why I anticipate the rest of the hotel will be remodeled as well. After this our stay was pleasant for the most part, but had nothing to do with the hotel, nor the guest service staff. It was some Italian deva who apparently was staying at the hotel and decided to roam the hallways at night chatting with her friend / boyfriend, so I had to contact the front desk, who had her go back to her room. Guest service desk staff were all pleasant at the hotel. When we first arrived, we were running late because of our train from Florence, and we had tour tickets to the Vatican, yet the staff at this hotel contacted our tour company and spoke to them, and arrange a quick taxi for us. We were so thankful for their gracious hospitality. On the other hand, the only person at the hotel who seemed too stuffy was this bartender there, who looked very Irish. Anyhow, he just seemed unpleasant and wasn't too friendly to us or other patrons. The breakfast here isn't particularly great but think of it as better than a roadside hotel breakfast back in the states. It may be better or close to a Holiday Inn Express breakfast. The coffee is horrible from a coffee connoisseur's perspective. It's like tasteless office coffee, and it's not just at this hotel but standard throughout Italy. Same for cappuccinos with no robust flavor. But I digress. If there were a Starbucks nearby it would be a decent alternative for coffee.

Breakfast was very busy with a fight to get a table not a big enough breakfast space for amount of guests , but staff were very good at clearing tables and replenishing food , My only negative would have to be the very rude bar tender with a pony tail in his 50s , he obviously does not enjoy his job and made us feel very unwelcome

• 837roisind (10/5): Beautiful, conveniently located hotel - Beautiful hotel. We had a wonderful 5 night stay in January. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and very clean with a balcony and a nice city street outlook. Extremely convenient location for sightseeing and just a short walk from the train station
• MatthewB16607 (6/5): Great central location, semi-decent hotel - Visited in January for a city break to the eternal city. First of all the location is fantastic, approx. 20 min walk to Trevi fountain and approx. 25 min to the colosseum and 5 min walk from the train station. The staff are really friendly and helpful with queries including booking direct taxis. The hotel itself on first impressions is quite modern, unfortunately as you go up to the floors rooms it does get a bit dated. They are renovating so give it time and will all look modern. The actual rooms are spacious and were always clean, the only let down was there was no view from the windows and early in mornings a slight smell of drainage when opening the windows. Overall if you're looking for a semi decent, really well located hotel then this is for you!

• M7916WJjenniferc (8/5): Great location - This hotel was a great location to see all the attractions. Only a 5minute walk from the train station. Was a short walk to plenty of restaurants. We stayed in room 115, was clean and tidy, fresh towels provided everyday. Unfortunately the air conditioning unit didn’t work so the room got very hot and as the street was noisy we were unable to leave the window open at night. The walls are pretty thin as we had a family with young children next door and heard them screaming a lot. Shower door leaked when in use so bathroom floor ended up soaked, had to mop up with towels but housekeeping always replaced them. The only full length mirror in the room has a motion sensor light above it, annoying when trying to get ready. We had breakfast included but we didn’t take advantage of this as we were out early most mornings. Overall I’d say we’d stay here again for the location as we were very central to most things. Hotel staff were friendly.

A trebuit să plec să mă cazez la alt hotel in miez de noapte cu 4 copii dupa mine și soție !! Urat din partea lor și chiar mi-aș dori despaguri ptr ca am plecat din România și mi-au făcut un deserviciu urat Personalul angajații nu au venit imediat cu soluție mai ales ca am fost de-acord să plătesc 100 peste suma din rezervare ptr greșeala pe care booking ar fi făcut-o după vorbirea lor . Lăcomia după câștiguri nejustificate, nepăsare față de clienți și față de echipa care stau în spatele acestui hotel.

Vano scala ai piani superiori non molto curato, la colazione potrebbe essere più ricca, qualche gadget in più in camera (es. pantofole usa e getta) sarebbe utile .
• S1705QQht (2/5): Horrible - We stayed in a ‘family room’ with two adults and two kids. The room was terrible! The red striped wallpaper was tatty and the floor and carpet were stained, dirty and had not been vacuumed. There was a weird quasi Japanese inspired screen separating the elevated double bed from the window. A thick layer of dust had accumulated on the skirting boards and around the edges of the room. The beds had very worn and itchy sheets. One single bed was damaged with the fabric surround torn and the other bed was a fold out. The air con did not work and the only window opened to an extremely noisy back alley. The bathroom was mouldy with an inadequate shower over bath. There was not enough room to store our bags. The towels were changed each day. The breakfast was grim. Located within an easy walk from the station. Lobby looks decent- don’t be fooled! It was cheap but not cheerful. Would not recommend.

• AlanLondon_UK (8/5): Pick the right room if you can - Worth staying do it’s location near Termini and it’s lovely roof garden which really came into it’s own on New Years Eve when we were served an excellent 6 course dinner and champagne at midnight as we watched the Rome skyline light up with many firework displays. The breakfasts are good an the cocktails are excellent (highly recommend the Cardinale, a dry version of Negroni). Loses a star as the room we were given was certainly not one of the often mentioned renovated rooms - it was tired and in need of smartening up and not four star.
• Caroline (9/5): Beautiful stylish hotel but needs to spend money on upgrading air conditioning system - It was a beautiful hotel ...staff were fantastic but its a bit expensive for being on a very busy street with loud traffic noise and I got moved to a room where the air conditioning box was outside my window and it was like a jet engine running all the time even with the window closed.....it was awful. ... so for what I paid per night it was to expensive because of the noise....the hotel needs to spend money on upgrading the air conditioning system but staff were so friendly and nice and breakfast was lovely and rooms very nice The really awful air conditioning box right outside my window that was like an engine running all the time .... Not good enough for nearly 200 euro per night

• michaelwZ1875PV (10/5): A lovely stay - We stayed as a family of nine in September, myself, my parents, and my cousins. Firstly the staff were wonderful. The reception staff and porter, were kind, helpful, and funny. Everybody spoke English, and were very patient when I practised my Italian with them. Check in was easy, and as we'd arrived before check-in, they stored our luggage for us. We got a voucher for a free drink at the bar on arrival, which was very nice Rooms were great, very clean, and had everything we needed, from a safe to a fridge. Shower was one of those rainshower ones, and was great, with no problems and plenty of hot water. Beds were comfortable. No problems at all. The bar upstairs is lovely, and you can take your drinks up to the roof in the evenings, which is really lovely, with great views. The staff in the bar are great, especially Gianluca and Rabba, who were very kind and helpful. I absolutely salute them both for their hard work. Breakfast buffet has a great selection of hot and cold food, and it was lovely to have it on the roof terrace. Check out was very easy, and the hotel kept hold of our luggage for us after checkout, to be collected later. We were genuinely sorry to leave. We had such a lovely stay that as soon as we got home, we booked again for September 2026. This time 7 of us, as sadly 2 can't make it. We're looking forward to our next visit, and to see the lovely staff again. Also, it's a great location...it's very near to Termini Station (Rome's main station), which can be very busy, and a bit overwhelming. Top tip - Repubblica metro is a bit nearer to the hotel, so use that station instead ...it's a lot less busy. Enjoy your stay at Diana. It's an excellent hub, from which to explore Rome. I absolutely recommend it, and thank you to all the lovely staff who made our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you all again in September 😁

• hannahlE2779GN (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Roma - The Hotel is lovely, as my partner says it is very good. It's clean and the staff are very welcoming, the rooms look like they have been renovated recently the double room has a mini bar, prices in the room, and next to the bed are USB and USB c charging points for your cables. The shower is powerful and has a good supply of hot water. The hotel provides shampoo, shower gel and soap also a shoe shine kit and shower caps. The restaurant is lovely the roof bar has views of the Vatican and the food at dinner was great! Would love to stay here again.

• LuA22 (8/5): Wonderful festive trip - Arrived Friday afternoon, room wasn’t ready so waited in bar with a drink. Prices fair and similar to uk. Hotel on arrival looked clean tidy and well decorated for Christmas. Staff were kind polite and good English speaking. Arrived to our room which was clean, modern had USB charging points. No bath but shower was good, water ran hot. Bed was comfy clean, pillows were a little flat if you wanted to be picky about something. The room backed onto the ally way which around midnight 1am was very loud with bins banging and people singing or talking even with windows closed you could hear them very clearly. We were woken by the room next door alarm going off on their phone but other than that did not hear anyone next door at night times. Breakfast is continental fresh fruits meats cheese and pastries. There are cereals and juice and hot drinks also. Area was always clean tidy and staff again lovely. Make your way to the roof terrace for wonderful views of the city. We are in the restaurants near the hotel as these were nicer than by the tourist areas and staff were kinder also. I would stay here again no issues. Walking distance to all attractions inc Christmas market.

• anthonyk734 (10/5): Exceeded our expectations - We had seen the reviews on here and the photos and we were expecting a very dated hotel but this couldn't be further from the truth. The hotel looks amazing from the outside and the lobby/reception area is very modern and really clean. The staff on the desk were welcoming and all the staff were met during our stay were fantastic. The room was great as well. We enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop as well as in the dining room and the selection was very good. The location was perfect for us as well being near to Termini. I've seen people mention the noise and it is a busy street but I think no matter where you stay in Rome it'll be the same. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit. Special mention to Gianluca at the bar for the cocktails, they were delicious

The mini bar in the room is NOT free but it did not state this anywhere!! We got charged an extra 50euros for two waters and one coke in the mini bar!! Diabolical. If I had known this I would have popped next door for a 2euro bottle of water. Also no air con, rooms are boiling at night.

• Dr_Waugh (10/5): Great family base, safe and quiet - We had a fantastic family stay here late October. We got the fixed price taxi from the airport to the hotel and checked in early. Our room wasn’t quite ready so we waited 20 minutes or so before going up to our room. We had lots of space in room 209, four single beds. Two separate for the kids and two together for The Mrs and myself. The room was good proportions and looked out onto the back alley. We only got nighttime noise from this once during our stay. The breakfast on the 7th floor was good with the usual choices. Ask for honey, it’s in a draw. We loved the rooftop views across the city and enjoyed our welcome drink taking in the views. Most days we walked out to where we were visiting but a few days we hopped into the metro. Both the Termini and Repubblica were close by.
• DianeM279 (10/5): Great hotel, good location and nice breakfast - We only stayed one night but were very happy with the hotel. We were able to check in at 1pm. Our room was more of a suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was very spacious and clean with a fridge and great shower. Breakfast was good. We also were given a complimentary drink for the rooftop bar which was a welcome surprise. Nice views from the top. The room was quite warm (warmer than outside) and the aircon didn’t seem to work but it was November so perhaps the aircon was off. Overall, a great hotel, good price and centrally located 5 mins from the train station. Quite noisy outside if you are wanting the windows open but it didn’t affect us too badly.
