Staff were friendly, always welcoming, ready to assist. Breakfast was hit & miss; sometimes served cold & wish they had more variety daily. After 3 days it became monotonous.

I booked a suite and was not happy at all - not even fruits or sweets to welcome us in the room. we carried our own luggage to the room while porters were standing at the door. Even after reporting and informing the reception that we would cut our stay and check out the following morning still no apology was extended.

I like using stairs, rather than lifts. Many times in early morning when I want to take a walk starting with the stairs, they were locked. The absence of ironing board and iron in the room. Although a number was provided to call for them.

I especially like that the keep filling the water bottles in every room cleaning session :) All was. Good. Minor hiccup in Lounge area, where it took some time to get new towels and clean the shower area but it didn't affect a overall good impression.

Hardly any plug sockets to charge phones etc We had a room facing the main road so it was a bit noisy The switches in the bedroom are black so not always easy to find I stay in hotels a lot and these may seem minor but the room designs just felt dysfunctional. A shame as it’s not a bad property

Amorim (10/5): Amazing - Everything was perfect for a romantic couple. The rooms are fantastic and well-ventilated. The breakfast is very rich and varied. Dinner is wonderful, especially with the appropriate lighting for a romantic dinner for two. They were very strict about the transfer schedule; they couldn't take us to the Gautrain station because it was still too early. I think it would be good to have some flexibility.

We did have a room close to the lift shaft, which were very noisy during the night. The food in the restaurant used to be better, I did have Tagliatelly with chicken one night it was terrible, the whole plate soaked in tomato puree, Breakfast if you order fried eggs soft sunny side up, not done that way, the staff in the kitchen were not very responsive. The food is not befitting a 4* hotel.

Thomas (9/5): Super stay in heart of Sandton. Superb staff and comfortable lodgings - Staff. Everyone we encountered was lovely! Nothing any trouble. Felt like being at home … Superb breakfast Some aspects of the hotel are starting to look a bit tired. Bathroom sink was slow to drain as well as shower, but staff tried to sort this out.
