- Homa Fabbio (3/5): - the location was very good in the center of Taksim and breakfast was also very good plenty of everything but the staff in the breakfast floor are very rude and ignorant as they insulting us by their behaviour and not listening for what we asked them to do for us so in total i wouldn't stay in that hotel in the future and not recommended to my families and friends. also for 4 star hotel its a pity shame that their room is not up to even standards to rest of the world as we travel quit often and we know what is 4 stars hotel mean and what is the room services as in your hotel the hair dryer are very poor and old the fridge are not cold at all bottle of water is always warm rather than cold room . bed sheet dosen't get change daily . the reception desk staff are more helpful and friendly more than other staff. the price we paid for each night we could get much better room and services elsewhere so hopefully you put all this into consideration for better services in future . many thanks.

- Gulshan (10/5): - My stay at the Occidental Hotel was genuinely exceptional from start to finish. Everything about this place exceeded expectations. The breakfast was outstanding with a great variety, fresh options, and a relaxed atmosphere to start the day right. The staff were incredibly warm, professional, and attentive — always going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. One of the highlights was the spa experience. We managed to get a special offer for €90, which included a Turkish bath, massage, and face mask — absolutely worth it. The whole experience felt luxurious, and the complimentary coffee was a lovely extra touch. The room itself was spotless, thanks to the excellent housekeeping team. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, making it easy to fully relax and unwind. What really stood out was the honesty and care of the staff — I accidentally left my coat behind, and they safely kept it for me to collect on my next visit, which says a lot about their service and professionalism. - Jan (10/5): Great hotel at a convenient location - I have stayed in Barceló and Occidental hotels and Occidental Taksim only confirmed that it’s a great choice. The receptionist Doğukan was really warm and welcoming, the room itself was spacious, clean and stocked with amenities as well as a sweet welcome treat. I didn’t get to use the other hotel facilities but I’m sure that they’re kept to high standards.

Very basic look & costly not up to the mark of Barcelo group. Toilets are tiny with sewerage smell . Firstly Toilet seat was broken had to request it twice & overall hygiene was not good . Lighting was very poor . Not enough sockets in room . One of the rooms had no mirror . Half of the toiletries were empty . Breakfast was bland . Lobby was dead and smelly . The hotel doesn’t did justice to its name & charging comparing to it nearby hotels offer more services in way less price . They need to update and renovate it . Highly disappointed !! - Bornacin (10/5): - Todo, pero para destacar el trato del personal, me pasó que dejé olvidado el celular en un transfer y ellos se movieron rápidamente llamaron por teléfono y lo recuperaron , están en cada detalle de lo que puedas necesitar. El desayuno es Espectacular y el personal es realmente un 10 súper súper amables y atentos a cualquier necesidad. Nada para criticar.

- Jogie (9/5): I would recommend this Hotel but NOT Green by Express Travel. - They have a very accommodating staff from reception to the restaurant and the cleaning staff. The location is very good, close to malls and easy access to tourist attractions. Anywhere I go, I put my trust in the hotel in terms of recommending tour agencies that would make our stay more memorable at a reasonable cost. I’m so disappointed that the tour company they associated with “GREEN EXPRESS TRAVEL” is not a reliable company. A day tour that started at 9:30 and ended Midnight was a total waste of time. We drove all that way to go to candy and marmalade shops “not factory” and instead of the Main Places stated in the brochure, they took us to ATV for extra cost. Shopping mall for 30mins (who does clothes shopping for 30mins??) If the cable car was not available, due to reasons beyond their control, why not be transparent about it, it’s their responsibility to get this information ahead of time and let the people know. The explanation was lame as we discovered the guide knew about the problem the day before! Very disorganized, lunch was 4pm! NO REFUND AS PROMISED! I can go on and on… so sad, our last day in beautiful Istanbul was a nightmare! Please Occidental Hotel your standard is great! I hope no other guests will have the same experience.

- CHRISTOS (8/5): - Οταν φτάσαμε μας ενημέρωσαν ότι υπήρχε κάποιο πρόβλημα με το δωμάτιο μας προφανώς μας εξήγησαν ότι λόγω των κρατήσεων είχε κλειστεί και από άλλον. Ομως φέρθηκαν απόλυτα επαγγελματικά μας μετέφεραν σε άλλο ξενοδοχείο του ομίλου σχεδόν δίπλα και μάλιστα ήταν 5 στερο και την άλλη μέρα μας ξανάφεραν στο ξενοδοχείο αναβαθμίζοντας το δωμάτιο σε σουίτα λόγω της ταλαιπωρίας. Το προσωπικό εξυπηρετικότατο ευγενικό και ειδικά ο κος Burak
