Stephan (5/5): Conclusion; even with the 1/2 price discount and free parking I would not choose this place again. - We got upgraded through booking dot com to one of the suits on the 5th floor and I really liked the room (506) even though the bath has no provisions to function as a shower and the TV does not tilt away from the wall, nor does it work with com cast so no watching movies unless you have a HDMI cable handy… room was huge and bed very comfortable.. and had a great welcome from the South American staff member! Location you need to be aware of!!! It’s just of one of the worst streets in North Paris with drug dealing, begging, fights and homeless aggressively approaching tourists. Don’t go there at night! Our room was quiet but other side of the hotel might be noisy… We had parking included and be prepared to park in some dark dungeon that challenges any hatch back to get in without scraping the walls - it’s very tight! After our warm welcome we had some young guy at the reception who didn’t do what he promised and didn’t even look up when we walked through the front gate returning one evening… Also, the overall condition of the hotel is neglected to say the least…

Cécile (8/5): Sympathique mais de petits bémols - La décoration est jolie, mais les finitions dans la chambre laissent à désirer. Les prises au sol étaient complètement ouvertes. Le quartier n’est pas particulièrement agréable, en revanche le personnel est sympathique. J’ai aussi l’impression que l’hôtel était en pleine phase de travaux ou de rénovation lors de notre séjour : la chambre voisine était grande ouverte et il y avait une légère odeur de peinture.

Zeer mooi hotel De parkinggarage is idd zeer smal, de lift was stuk en en werd geen hulp aangeboden om de valiezen naar de kamer te brengen (kleine moeite van het personeel die ik toch verwachte) Zondag 7.30u ontbijt en geen ontbijt te bekennen, om 8.30u ben ik vertrokken zonder ontbijt terwijl hier toch voor betaald werd.

Brandon (1/5): See above - See below We were really looking forward to our weekend at this hotel, the photos made it seem perfect. But when we got there, the area was a total shock. My girlfriend was so uncomfortable with the constant staring and attention from people on the streets that she started crying. On top of that, the room was nothing like the pictures, just a plain, boring white room, much smaller than we expected, and it had a weird smell. Only the bathroom matched the photos. We had no choice but to leave, lose our €357, and find another place in a safer part of Paris. If you’re a young woman or traveling with one, I’d seriously think twice about staying here.

Sarah (7/5): Lovely hotel, shame about the area it is in - The hotel was lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful, the rooms (we got junior suites) were fabulous. The location was convenient (short walk from Gare du Nord). The surrounding area (no fault of the hotel). Within the hotel walls it was safe and comfortable, stepping out of the gates was a different story. I was not comfortable walking anywhere alone at any time of the day and definitely not at night.

Kassie (5/5): An acceptable hotel, but would not necessarily recommend. - There was nothing that stood out in particular. It was an okay hotel, but not one I'd recommend to others. The hotel is located in a rough part of Paris, and it was rather uncomfortable walking home from the metro station at night. We could also hear quite a bit of noise from traffic nearby. In addition, some of the design choices of the hotel are extremely weird - there is a shabby door where you can peer into a locked, small, unfurnished room that is lit up red on the way to the hotel rooms, which serves no function apart from being creepy. The rest of the lighting on the way to the rooms is also eerie. Although the room looks rather chic at first glance, we noticed parts of the wallpaper peeling off and the tiles by the bathtub were partially discoloured, which made the room feel fake chic. The temperature of the water was also not stable, which made showering rather uncomfortable. I think a simpler, well maintained room makes a better impression and provides a better experience than what this hotel offers.

Сложный подъезд к отелю на машине, не сразу нашли, Гугл карты неправильно показывали. Вокруг полно маргиналов. По одному вечером лучше не ходить.

The lobby looks great with ok breakfast there was free parking which was amazing and its close to the metro which is well connected. The hotel room was not very cozy and there was an interesting smell, but not disturbing. We had a great open view with a lot of light inside our room, however this also meant we woke up early mornings. The room was big and we had enough space to put our stuff. I could not attached the shower head to something which made showering interesting. Getting into the parking lot challenged our skills. We went in backwards. If u are an experienced driver or have a larger car. take into account ur car might not fit or it will be a challenge. The area was a bit sketchy at times which made us feel uncomfortable. many homeless people and refugees around the station. But during the day it was ok, and once u take the bus metro taxi its fine. i dont recommend walking with flashy outfits around the area. You will experience eyes staring at you.

mija (8/5): - Hotel byl prostorný, čistý, personál vstřícný. Klidně bych se zde opět ubytovala.... Bohužel lokalita hotelu je v místě, kde se člověk bojí jít v noci pěšky, ale naštěstí nás nikdo neobtěžoval. Byli jsme včas upozorněni, že se v této lokalitě hodně krade, takže jsme byli ostražitější a vše proběhlo v pohodě.

Harry (8/5): Een bijzonder hotelletje op goede loopafstand van Gare du Nord - Bijzondere creatie. Weer eens wat anders. De kamer, de gordijnen, de douche/bad. Echt ‘cube’. Als je doucht, wordt het aan beide kanten op de vloer erg nat, wat extra badmatten of een glazen wand zou een tip zijn. Maar de douche zelf is echt heerlijk.
