I was there during the snow storm and I was about to crash out bc Amtrack kept rescheduling my train but JONATHAN had my back. He gave me apples in the morning, spoke in a kind tone and helped me figure out check out with ease. He is truly a gem THE GEM I daresay Yall do need to fix yall tvs though I could not stream any thing the whole time bc of the signal but JONATHAN HE IS THAT GUY PAY HIM MORE. I have no idea what that man makes but I know in my heart it is not enough Thank you Jonathan

Since we were arriving earlier than expected, We appreciate having the option to have an early check-in. The cleanliness and modern look of the hotel room made us so glad this was a hidden gem.
- L1754BMjenniferm (10/5): Perfection! - Our experience at Aura Hotel was amazing from start to finish. We came early to see if we could leave our bags before heading to a show. Not only did they say yes, but Danny and Adrian checked us in early and upgraded our room. Everything was pristine! The beds were comfortable and we slept like babies. The complementary drinks (wine or beer) at the restaurant next door were a nice touch. The location was perfect, in between Broadway and our favorite restaurant (minus the Times Square foot traffic) so we will definitely be back.

Price was competitive (free drinks were a joke because you could only get a beer or house wine). 2nd time we are staying at this place and we were happy both times. Elevators small and gets real crowded during peak times like checkout times. All in all, we will stay here again.

Staff were great and friendly with ideas on what to do and when and very helpful with storing our luggage. Location is perfect, 1-2 min walk to Times Square and central to local attractions and the subway. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy on arrival and cleaned every day of our stay. The Long Room next door is also great and served great food and drinks. Would definitely recommend The Aura Hotel and would definitely use again. Many thanks Steve and friends.

Everything is very clean and our room was quiet. Adrian at the front desk was fantastic. He was able to get us in our room early, upgraded us to a king bed, and gave us two free drink tickets to the restaurant next door. We’d definitely stay here again.

Gave - Hotel is off Times Square, which is perfect free drinks at the bar next door with Music close to Grand Central Station. Adrian at the front desk was so accommodating gave us all our information. Our passes for a free drink next-door gave us access to our room. Early people are very friendly and the room is really a nice size.

- F8780FN (10/5): Excellent stay - We had a wonderful stay at the Aura! The room was very clean and had new, contemporary furniture with lots of nice lamps and charging ports. The beds were super comfy. We stayed in a 2 doubles room, which had plenty of space for my teen daughter and me - even as we hunkered down in the room for during a big winter storm. We had a lovely view of 44th street and the Belasco theater, where we saw Maybe Happy Ending (great show!). The pre-check in process is handy, and we were able to rent a mini fridge (which had a small freezer) during our stay, which was perfect for riding out the storm - there is a good deli just down the block that stayed open despite all the snow and sleet. Although some reviews have mentioned poor water pressure in the shower, it was not an issue for us - and the water stayed very hot. The staff were friendly and helpful and kept the lobby mopped and sidewalk cleared throughout the storm to prevent slips and falls. The Aura is in a great location, with tons of restaurants and shopping within a block or two. Very reasonably priced as well for such a nice, recently renovated room. We will be back for our next Broadway trip!

We had last minute cancelled flights and had to book extra nights. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, Given this was the 23rd December and time running out for a pre christmas departure, Jo jo sweetly assured us that The Aura was ‘home’ until we managed to book new flights. We found his kind words very comforting. Rooms at The Aura are super clean, The hotel is in an excellent location, very central. l highly recommend this hotel.

- jacobkings (10/5): Brilliant stay - Booked this hotel due to good price and location and wasn’t disappointed. Check in was quick and easy. Room was a nice size and very clean. Lovely comfortable bed, and a bath too which was lovely after the freezing cold days out. The housekeeping team were so lovely and attentive as were the reception team. Hotel was quite quiet too and didn’t hear much noise, so slept well for our 3 night stay. Will definitely return next time. Highly recommend
- U2702YGjenniferb (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - I stayed at aura hotel Dec 27th -30th. I’ve never had such a terrible experience and treated so poorly by one of your night staff. Not only was she rude and very vague with details as to what was going on with our room after we realized that we had no heat but did not bother explaining why it took over two hours to move us to a room that was over powered by the smell of bleach with no fan in the bathroom to get rid of the smell. On our second day the room lost all power and the man that came to fix it basically acted like it was my fault that your building is old. And on our next day the toilet flooded not only the bathroom but the room. We were not offered to be moved again or any kind of compensation. This was my husbands first trip to the city. And I was trying to make it special by booking with what I thought was a nicer hotel. But your staff and hotel totally ruined it. I cried multiple times with each problem that came up and how I was treated. We collectively spent over 2k for three nights and were given free late check out as compensation. Which is a slap in the face and a total joke. You should have given our first night for free given we didn’t even get to sleep until 3am b/c it took so long to move us and when we got a new room. The new room was not what I paid for we had no desk no storage for clothing and no explanation why we were down graded and still paying for a deluxe king. As a business owner I would never treat any paying customer the way your staff and did. And offer so little to make it right. I feel like others should be informed about how you are running your hotel.

The rooms are the perfect size for me and the hotel is conveniently located to the mid-town attractions and subway stations. In addition, the rooms were very clean and the reception, along with the housekeeping were outstanding. I definitely recommend booking this hotel if you are traveling to NYC.

This hotel is fantastic from the time we arrived we were early ...the front desk staff offered to store our bags so we could start our fun in the city! jojo and Cesar are awesome! On the evening of 12/3, sorry I did not get the front desk persons name but this gentleman gave me subway instructions to Katz Deli!!! I was so grateful to him. The location of this hotel is perfect and within walking distance of so many awesome places...Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, 5th Ave, you're literally in Times Square. The hotel was beautiful and very clean....trust me cleanliness is huge for me and I start looking for little signs as soon as I walk in the door. No complaints whatsoever!! The cost was reasonable also. If I ever go back to NYC I'm 100% staying at The Aura. Management.....your team from the front desk to housekeeping are phenomenal! Thank you for making my stay in this beautiful city such a great experience.

- amadeoq (2/5): No Security, No Responsibility, No Help - Our experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible. A bag with brand-new clothes we had purchased was stolen, and instead of helping us, the hotel staff completely looked the other way. We spent the entire morning asking for answers, hoping someone would take responsibility or at least give us clear information. However, we received nothing but vague excuses, zero solutions, and no real concern from anyone. The lack of professionalism and empathy was shocking. Not only did we lose our belongings, but we also wasted valuable hours of our trip waiting for a response that never came. When you stay at a hotel, you expect a minimum level of security, assistance, and respect. We found none of that here. We left with a deep feeling of frustration and helplessness, something we will not forget. I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances. There are plenty of places in New York where guests are treated with respect and professionalism — unfortunately, this is not one of them.
- claudiacW3958AI (10/5): Wonderful Times Square Hotel - This hotel is fantastic! First of all, this is a small boutique hotel about a block from all the action of Times Square, but relatively quiet. The reception we got from Adrian at the front desk was amazing - room was ready early, which we greatly appreciated. - including two free drink coupons at the Long Room restaurant next door. The room itself is ample, clean, with very comfortable beds and pillows. For breakfast, check out Cafe Un Deux Trois across the street - wonderful breakfast for a very reasonable price. This could be my new go-to place for NYC!
- Pioneer33755580120 (8/5): Average Aura - Arrived at hotel and a very easy check in process. We were late and handed the key and a room on the 10th floor. We went to this room at it was somewhat musty and damp. There was scuffs on the wall and residue in the toilet. It became apparent that the room had not been cleaned properly. I requested to be moved to another room which was much better clean and fresh. This was a comfortable room for our stay with toiletries. The hotel itself was ok, the lifts were poor, small and creaky. The staff were friendly at reception and helpful with any questions asked. Small amenities not present such as hotel slippers and a robe. However, for a hotel in the city that’s near to what you need it was ok. I can’t say I would rush back, we stayed at another hotel for the final night which was more modern and pleasant however overall it was ok. If you want somewhere to get your head down and have a shower with not much else to offer then this would be good for you.

No greeting when we checked in just told to swipe our card with no information as to why (luckily we knew about the tax!) give our key and that was it, no instructions as to what floor, where the lift was located etc! He couldnt have looked more unbothered if hed tried! We had upgraded before we arrived to a king sized room (glad we did but even this was small!) the bathroom was TINY! Super noisy hotel aswell. Even thought it was clean i would not recommend! The only positive for this hotel was the lovely man who looked after our cases!

Adrian from the reception was really helpful and nice. And Carlos, who store my luggage, as well. I recommend this place to stay and be near the hot spots of the city.

Right in the heart of the theater district, a couple blocks from Times Square and a couple of blocks from BRYANT Park. I went to visit family but spent some time in the area and it was wonderful. The hotel is a boutique hotel, the room was small but big enough. The TV was huge. Everything was brand new including the bathroom, which is big for me. All in all everyone was very nice courteous and I would definitely stay here again.

There was paint chipping off the bathroom door. Additionally, one of the clean towels given to us in the morning was dirty. Overall stay was ok.

- Quest38071859935 (10/5): Wonderful Hotel Wonderful City - Superb hotel in a brilliant location. Staff were excellent, very kind and helpful. Although located at Times Square, there wasn't a sound in our bedroom from the busy outdoors. We stayed in Room 511 which was an executive king size specification. It was a very spacious room with all the required amenities. Room service was provided every day with bed linen changed and fresh towels. The bathroom was perfect with a hot shower and bath. Subway and Port Authority Bus Terminal are a short walk away which will take you wherever you need to go. I highly recommend this hotel if you're planning a trip to see all the sights in New York. We had a superb holiday. Thank you Aura Hotel At Times Square and thank you New York. 😊
- Explorer61825252960 (6/5): Great location, wouldn’t stay again. Major updates needed - The location of the hotel is amazing as it’s in the middle of Times Square just 1/2 a block away. As for the hotel, there are 3 extremely small elevators about the size of a closet. If more than 2 people with luggage go in, it’s a very tight fit. The particular room I had was on the 6th floor and the window faced a brick wall on all sides. In the middle of the day it would feel like the middle of the night. The shower was awful. Once a lever was turned to start a shower you had to figure out that a smaller knob in the middle adjusted the temperature. When the water was hot, it turned freezing cold in a matter of seconds, so you are constantly turning this knob to get a decent shower! The bed was clean and comfortable. For the most part the hotel was ‘’OK”, however I don’t think I would stay there again as there are many other hotels of similar price in the area.

The location is perfect- right in the heart of Times Square walking distance to all attractions. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a boutique hotel and experience something different.

The hotel refused to respond to my follow-up emails directly, but advised Capital One Travel, which contacted them on my behalf, that they would not refund the stay or otherwise address the issue. I would not recommend staying at the Aura Hotel Times Square.

- ysabelechrystaianar (10/5): Enjoyable stay and perfect location! - Very affordable considering it’s centred around theatre district with plenty of access to the subways! The room was very clean and was a great size with adequate and ambient lighting with plenty outlets. There was also a bottle refill station which was very useful and convenient. The best part was the service of all the staff each person was very kind, friendly, helpful and hospitable which truly made our stay feel like a home away from home! The wifi in the rooms were quite slow and kept disconnecting which made it quite unreliable, but other than that it was an enjoyable stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting!

- karenhV6122UT (10/5): Location, Location. - This hotel is located between two restaurants Gatsby's Landing and the Long Room. Hotel is located on 44th street and is just a short walk to Times Square and Broadway. Across the street are the Hudson Theater and the Belasco Theater. I stayed in a Deluxe Queen Room on the 15th floor. The room was spacious and I was impressed that the bathroom had a frosted window. Hotel has three elevators, but they are small and one elevator door doesn't open all the way. Pro: great location, has a room safe, hair dryer, coffee maker, Moulton and Brown shower and bath gel, shampoo and conditioner dispensers mounted on the bath tub wall; rain head shower (low pressure). The shower handle was already pre-set to the correct water temperature so no need to adjust for water temp. I had an amazing housekeeper by the name of Amy. She would ask me each morning on my way out if it was ok for her to clean my room. She and I got to know each other and had great conversations. Con: upon check-in you are asked for a credit card for a 75.00 security deposit that upon check-out is refunded. No toilet paper dispenser on the wall. Limited space in bathroom to place your toiletries. TV remote was finicky and hotel uses Direct TV. Tip: Walk across the street to the Millennium Hotel and go through the lobby and it will put you out on 45th Street.
- Allison (6/5): - I was in 4 rooms before I could unpack. Room 1 on 5th floor-beds were messed up, like someone had napped on them; Room 2 on 2nd floor-water in sink didn't work; Room 3 (actually same room as #1) back to 5th floor-phone was not connected and there was no phone cord. Room 4 on 14th floor. Room was fine. Had early checkin and didn't get settled in a room until almost 4. The front desk was great, but clearly the services leave something to be desired. Did not have 2nd luggage racks when they were needed. Also got no break on the cost, even though it was really inconvenient trying to check in and find a room that was actually ready to check into. Never had any experience like this with any hotel anywhere. The location is great though and Gatsby's Landing, the restaurant next door is wonderful.

The Aura did not miss a beat and we were very satisfied and would come back to again. The rooms were recently upgraded to a more modern look and the king room was very roomy and comfortable. We like this hotel for its location being close to Broadway but not too noisy. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. I'm glad we were able to visit and will stay there again.

- Tour59002194626 (10/5): Friendly staff, newly renovated, service was great, thanks - I liked the experience, the hotel is situated directly at Times Square s you can explore the city the whole day. My room was quiet, tidy, newly renovated and the gym has enough to do a workout. I felt very welcomed from the beginning. Reception was so friendly to let me check in to my room 3h ealier and on your last day you can store your luggage in the hotel to make the kost of your stay. I also got 2 vouchers for welcome drinks in the bar. Breakfast was served by an energetic and super friendly women. You could feel that she likes to host guests. Overall, a good hotel.
