• Ian (8/5): Convenient location, good value - This is a very beautiful location, close to water, restaurants, pleasant walks. Do not be put off by it being some distance from old town: it is at the beginning of bus route 4, which means you will always get a seat when travelling into town, and buses run frequently. If you stay closer you might not even be able to get on the bus in busy periods!
• Laura (8/5): Great for the price, but some small points could be improved. - The staff are wonderful, breakfast was great and the location couldn’t be better. We enjoyed being able to explore Lapad and easily travel into the old town without trouble. We also spent a day sunbathing by the pool, enjoying lunch and cocktails from the bar. The spa was also perfect for a cloudy afternoon! The hotel shouldn’t advertise itself as having aircon if it isn’t usable all times of the year. I appreciate that low 20s isn’t particularly hot for Croatia, but my partner and I would never choose to stay somewhere without aircon. We checked at reception and they explained that the system is only switched on when it gets hotter. I also think that they advertise facilities which would be better removed entirely - the hairdryer for example was ancient. I’d have preferred if they didn’t mention this as being available as I’d have just brought my own.
• Lisa (1/5): Awful — Right Next to a Building Site - Checking out We recently stayed here for four nights and were extremely disappointed. We had been looking forward to spending our mornings sightseeing and relaxing by the pool in the afternoons with a book. Unfortunately, that was impossible. The pool area is directly beside a building site, with noisy machinery operating throughout the entire day. Our room was spacious and clean, but very dated. The bathroom design was particularly poor and potentially dangerous. The shower frame is attached to the top of the bath, meaning you have to climb almost two feet into the bath to take a shower. There was no bath mat provided, making it very slippery — especially when getting out. It feels like an accident waiting to happen. The restaurant was buffet style, with food kept warm using gas-lit cylinders, but unfortunately the food was only ever lukewarm. Sadly, we were staying on a half-board basis. One evening we walked around the pool areas and found the sunbeds old and shabby. The indoor pool area was no better — the steelwork on the ceiling was covered in rust, which gave the whole place a neglected feel. To be fair, the manager did offer us a spa voucher, but after seeing the condition of both the outdoor and indoor pool areas, we chose not to use it. There are some beautiful hotels across the bay, and we actually tried to move to one of them, but unfortunately they were all fully booked. Overall, this hotel is nowhere near a four-star standard, and the constant noise and poor facilities completely ruined our stay.

• Neil (8/5): Nice location, hotel was good but had issue in rooms that need addressing. Beach and sea are close and nice to swim. Bui - Location is great. Bus stop outside. Close to the beach and boardwalk. Drinks terrace is nice. Beds comfortable. Hotel is tired. Especially the bathrooms. Issues we had were numerous. Beds were made up as two twin, we booked a double. When rectified they simply pulled two single duvets to overlap. We complained then a double duvet was added. But it was not wide enough! The hairdryer is broken and dangerous. The shower doesn’t stay in the holster. The plug was missing in our friends room. The fridge wasn’t a fridge or cold. The safe in our friends room was faulty. Building work next door and around meant not peaceful

Cleaners in every Morning, doing a great job. The shower could have been better. Having to climb over the lip of the bath, with poor knees, wasn't ideal, but not enough to put us off.

Would recomend the non sea view rooms, so peacful with woodland view, lovely to sit out on belcony on the morning. Friendly welcomw on arrival. Difficulty communcating with hotel. We had booked one night and as our travel plans changed we hoped to add a second arrving a day earlier. I initally contacted booking.com who informed me to contact the hotel. I tried number of times by phone and email however no response. I finally got told to go through booking.com. in the end I had to make a seperate booking for the first night there. So stayed in two rooms for our two nights. Also really looking forward to a relax in the spa, as this is not a adulta on hotel children and families have full acess too. I tried a few times from 8 am mid morning late afternoon each time groups of children in all parts of the spa facilites. Would an adult only hour be a option?

The wellness centre had everything ( gym , sauna, hot tub , pool ) We also had a massage while there which was both wonderful and great value. The beach is one minute away and the bus stops right outside. We would have no problem highly recommending Hotel Uvala

I had requested a bottle of Prosecco and glasses in the room for our arrival to a birthday and this was done. The view from our room balcony was gorgeous. The breakfast was perfect for our needs. Location perfect. The staff were brilliant. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

The view from our hotel room was a 10 out of 10 😊 There is a Stone beach within walking distance with amazing sunsets . Shops and restaurants closeby Leisure facilities were well maintained and staff were always friendly Great selection at breakfast and option for a buffet dinner also at an extra charge but was great value for money There is a new hotel only part built next door to the hotel which we didnt realise but noise is minimal and wouldnt put me off staying at all.

• 037471592ac07129376d928b01ec48a6 (9/5): Goed uitvalsbasis om trips te plannen en om de oude stad te bezichtigen, weg van de drukte. - Ligging, in rustige baai gelegen. Het personeel was super vriendelijk. De bus ‘4’ stopt voor het hotel en rijdt rechtstreeks naar het oude centrum. Op 10min wandelen is er een straat met restaurants. Airco werkte niet naar behoren.

Zawsze serwowane słodkie wypieki do wyboru .Obsługa bufetu wspaniała. Nie mam żadnych zastrzeżeń :) Nie mam żadnych zastrzeżeń. Śniadania ok. Pokój bardzo przyjemny . Łazienka czyściutka. Codziennie serwis sprzątający. Balkon z pięknym widokiem :) Do morza parę kroków . Tuż pod hotelem przystanek autobusowy , dzięki czemu transport do Starego Miasta to kwestia paru minut . Obsługa i personel Hotelu Uvala niezwykle miły i pomocny :)

• Ivana (10/5): Буквайте! Няма да съжалите! - На изключително удобно разположение. Гледащата към залива е уникална. На 3 минути от хотела има магазини и плаж. Спирката на автобуса, който отива до стария град е точно пред входа на хотела и минава на всеки 20 минути. До стария град се стига с него за 10 минути. Храната е разнообразна и вкусна. Обслужването е на отлично ниво. Всички са мили и съобразителни. Силно препоръчвам!

• Kos (10/5): Bilo je kratko i slatko - Svidjela mi se ljubaznost osoblja i lijepa gesta hotela sa čestitkom mojoj supruzi u obliku voća na tanjuru povodom njezinog okruglog rođendana. Stvarno ste nas lijepo iznenadili svojom gestom. Što se tiče hotela nemam primjedbi. Jedino, što nema veze sa hotelom, je buka zbog radova sa druge strane uvale.
• Razia (7/5): Excellent location - The location of the hotel is excellent and if it's situated in a very nice neighborhood. Good spa facilities, bus stops right in front of the hotel. The management needs to take a proactive role in controlling the rooms, so random checks after the staff, their amenities and modernize the facilities. Breakfast can also use a refreshed menu or have a menu on rotation.

We had an issue with water in our room and not only they gave us another one but let us choose between different rooms and offered free dinner. Great breakfast with plenty of options. Location is fantastic with just short walk from plenty of restaurants. Spa and indoor pool was awesome. My partner booked massage and was very happy with the service. For the money we payed there is absolutely nothing to complain about. It's a really great place.

Jedan kuhar(mlad, vitak, visok) koji na doručku(sub-ned, oba 2 dana) nadopunjava hranu, nosio je izuzetno zamazanu crnu pregaču i kuharske hlače zamazane na stražnjici od brisanja masnih ruku.
