• Satoshi (9/5): 泊まって損はないホテル - 立地や部屋の清潔さなど価格以上のものだった。また、ペットボトルに入った水が4本（1人2本）常備されており、歯磨きの際のすすぎや旅行中の飲料水として活用できた。 朝食の品数も多く、3日間飽きることなく食べることができた。 英語を話せる従業員の方が少なく意思疎通が図れない場面が何度かあった。翻訳機の使用を徹底するなどの対策があっても良いかも。

• Yue (2/5): worst hotel experience in Shanghai, not even close to a 4 star hotel - The location is not too bad, next to a subway Line 4 station, easy to go around The hotel has two buildings with slightly different Chinese names but they appear as the same hotel in its' English name --- the old building is rated as a 4-star and the new building is rated as a 5-star hotel. We did not know the difference until we checked in and stayed two nights in the old building, which is dated and dirty --- the most disappointing thing is the toliet in the room, which smells and is quite disgusting even by Chinese standard. Not sure how can it be rated 4 star. The only reason it gets 4 star is perhaps it carries the name of Sherton --- the Chinese name of the hotel reveals that the hotel is most probably owned and managed by some Chinese companies not really managed by Sherton. But, in the English name you cannot tell that.

• Grace (8/5): - They provide everything from shampoo to room slippers! The only thing I don't like is the containers for shampoo, condition, shower gel and body lotion. These items come in a small little bottle, quite difficult to pour out. And they screwed the cap so tight, I had a hard time twisting it open. Hope they can consider using dispensers which are more economical and sustainable.

• Christoph (10/5): - Dieses Hotel macht einen luxuriösen Eindruck. Die Zimmer sind schön groß, sauber, und der Ausblick auf die Stadt ist toll (jedenfalls wenn man in einem höheren Stockwerk untergebracht ist). Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und gut. Es gibt in einem zweiten, direkt angrenzenden Sheraton-Hotel auch ein Restaurant, in dem man (gegen überschaubare Zusatzkosten) Abendessen kann. Zweimal pro Woche gibt es dort auch ein Buffet. In diesem Hotel selbst gibt es zwar auch ein Restaurant, das aber auch während der angeschrieben Öffnungszeiten geschlossen war. Dasselbe gilt für die Bar: offenbar gibt es keine Möglichkeit mehr was zu Trinken. Zwar gibt es eine Bar, diese war aber während unserem Aufenthalt nie besetzt (laut Rezeption gibt es auch gar keine mehr - vielleicht ein Relikt aus früheren Zeiten).

• Rohit (7/5): All was ok except the room service. - Breakfast was good. Normal as can be expected in a hotel of that stature. It was not exceptional. Room service was much below expectations. firstly, nobody answers the phone for a long time. Then there is very little choice, first on the menu and then in reality - some items are just not available, even if they show on the menu. The time taken is very long. There is no cafe open in the evening. The bar in the lounge was deserted . We had some guests at about 4 pm and we could not offer them even a cup of tea or coffee. There is no small shop where you could get some packed snacks or cold drinks - not even a vending machine. If you need anything , you have to go outside to the local shops and get it.

• Muriel (10/5): Just what I needed. - The room was very clean and nice. The staff were amazing and so helpful with the stay and answered all my questions. It’s not far from the Bund. They offered both western and a Chinese breakfast and that was very nice.

Very good western/chinese breakfest buffet, good surroundings with shopping options and restaurants on various levels. Mediocre noise insulation between the rooms - but insulation to the outside is pretty good, while you still can open windows.

• Susanna (7/5): Comfortable stay with some hiccoughs - The location of the hotel is within easy acess of the metro. There is a mall nearby where there are restaurants to eat at. Walmart is also within walking distance 1. I got a disabled room where the mirror was quite low and it also had a connecting room. The neighbour was smoking so I changed rooms 2. The final 2 days of my stay we did not have water in the morning. This is the first time it has happened in all my stay here 3. Unable to claim points because i did not book in the app and booked on booking.com

• Liran (1/5): Never again - The location and the lovely lady that cleaned our room Stuff are not friendly at all. Also needed to use of translator … our first room was joint room with a door that can be easily open from both sides and every time someone touched the door from the other side we would’ve jumped and feel not comfortable in our room so we asked to move…. After we moved, In the second room the heater was overwhelming ad the room was to hot so when I was trying to put on cooling it didn’t worked and still keep blowing hot air. when we ask about it we were told that the air condition is not working even though the room advertised as having air conditioning .. and even when we turned the heater off it kept working and blowing hot air into the room to the point where we needed to have the window open the whole time so so of course we were exposed to the noise from the outside. At some point we even ask for a fan so we will be able to sleep… on top of that the fridge was not working and it was replaced by a new Fridge …. The minute the booking finished we moved to a new and better hotel will never go back there. And to some it up thy charge us more than the booking price saying that it’s because of taxes even though I showed them that the price online was saying including taxes… On top of that on my last shower there just before we left I cut myself on a broken tile exiting the bathroom Will also file a formal complaint with booking.com and go without saying online social media….

• Yen (6/5): Overall a good stay - Situated at a more quieter residential Pudong area, away from crowded Puxi. Accessible to subway - less than 5 mins walk from Tangqiao Exit C. There's a mall nearby with good F&B for good food choice. There's even a Haidilao & Watson. Breakfast was good, can meet most of our requirements. Spacious room & bed is comfortable, good TV channels. The hotel looks bit dated, although able maintain their standard. Gym is the only facility is be available, not sure if due to low peak season now. We thought the mall is next to the hotel, thus we were a little lost when we first arrived. It is next to Sheraton Hotel, which is next to Four Points. Didn't use their wifi due to no VPN.

• Resort04250631804 (6/5): Poor attitude lets down the Marriott brand - Hotel is ok. However really disappointed in the poor attitude of some of the staff- i.e. Front Desk does not the high standards expected of a Marriott hotel when answering our enquiries and their overall attitude is very poor. Also when my vegetarian wife asked for a bit more vegetables from the noodle station for breakfast she was told ‘you have enough already’. Housekeeping staff we have spoken to are probably the only exception to what otherwise has been a poor staff attitude which has really affected the experience of our stay.

Lots of shops in the neighborhood. Wifi was spotty. A restaurant that was listed on their site didn’t exist or at least I couldn’t find it. Room service options were limited.
