The courtyard, with its fountain and “giraffe” is a lovely setting. It was busy so service was a little slow but we were in no rush. Well worth a visit.

The location was central to everything, the atmosphere and staff were so welcoming and lovely, the rooms were clean and I had no problem sleeping and I think it was altogether great value for the cost of it. I would highly recommend including the breakfast, it was gorgeous and had a great selection. I will definitely be back to Rome and I will definitely stay here again 100%. Thank you Jo and Joe Roma.

- Cassandra (9/5): Best Hostel in Rome - I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm and honestly, it’s probably the best hostel I’ve stayed in. The room was spacious — the beds aren’t crammed together, and each has a charger and a little net basket for storage. The beds are long, wide, and super comfortable with comfortable bedding. Only the bottom bunks have blackout privacy screens, which was so good for sleeping and a bit of personal space. You can also sit up comfortably without hitting your head on the bunk above — huge plus. The top bunks are trickier to climb down from (you have to go backwards), and if the room light’s on, there’s nothing to block it — so bottom bunk definitely wins. I loved the blackout curtains and windows that open out to the street for fresh air and ventilation. The one downside is that the air-conditioning isn’t very strong and there’s not much airflow around the beds, so it could get warm in summer — bring a small portable fan for extra comfort. Everything was spotless and well maintained — housekeeping runs a tight ship. There’s a full-length mirror, hooks for hanging clothes, and drawers to lock away valuables (bring your own lock to save paying 5 euros). The bathroom setup is excellent — spacious and separate shower, toilet, and wash areas with great water pressure and heat. Bathmats are provided so you’re not stepping or trying to get dressed on wet floors, and the space never feels cramped or claustrophobic (I was in room 310). The hostel has elevators, so no hauling luggage upstairs, and the common areas are amazing — plenty of chill-out spots and loads of social activities. The location is super central, and the best espresso and cornetto nearby is at Herspresso, just a few minutes’ walk away. Such a well-thought-out and well-run hostel — highly recommend. Super high price for a hostel because I booked ola few weeks out, but I guess thats economics. But $165 aud for a dorm bed is crazy - but this was everywhere in Rome, so is what it is

- Arellano (10/5): Solid deal and worth the value offered. - this was a great hostel for a small group of friends or solo travelers looking for a central location that's walking distance to all the things Rome has to offer. The breakfast was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the rooms/ common spaces were spacious. Highly recommend this hostel. they ran out of laundry soap, so I didnt have a chance to do laundry. Not the worst.

Ainda foi preciso pagar +12€ para guardar as malas num cacifo (quando já estamos a pagar 250€ por uma noite). Quarto twin tinha fotografia de duas camas juntas mas na verdade eram em cantos opostos do quarto.

The only bad thing was the air conditioner not working. The room was too warm and when I complained about it, the gentleman at the front desk told that this is how it is in all of Europe and ther was nothing he can do. I had the room for 3 nights and was unable to get any sleep.

- Palak (8/5): Great location and value for money. - The Location was close to all main attractions. The 6 bed sharing room has only one toilet and bathroom. In the morning it becomes too inconvenient to get ready in the morning. I would suggest this is the only drawbacks of this property.

- Ekaterina (8/5): Great but expensive hostel - Amazing location close to the main sights and a cozy streets with shops and restaurants. Lovely common areas and decent dorms. Clean and overall convenient. On the expensive side. The food is meh. The work room is private (which there are no signs for) and I was kicked out of it pretty rudely in the middle of my work call. Other common areas are too loud, too hot, and not ergonomic for work.

The bunk beds had alot of privacy, even the top bunk had a higher boarder for privacy. Bathroom was clean and spacious, I liked how the toilet was separate from shower and another sink outside for anyone else to use. The quirky Jo & Joe quotes were funny. It was hard to figure out how to adjust temperature on the shower knob and at first I thought there was no hot water. Figured it out eventually.

- Blanca (5/5): Difficult to sleep - The bathroom was acceptable, as were the common areas. The staff are very friendly, and the location is very good. The beds are made of plastic/leather that creaks all night, making it nearly impossible to sleep, as you're woken up by your own noise or that of your roommates. The lockers are poorly located, as the guest staying in the bed above disturbs the person in the bed below when they try to get their belongings.

- danielle (6/5): - I want to start by saying i think the concept of the hotel is brilliant but i think little tweaks are needed for the non hostel side. A fridge is a must and coffee /tea facilities aside from having to access them within the €12.50 breakfast would be great too. The hotel has a lot of rules the majority of which are great - no noise, alcohol in rooms and corridors etc but not being able to eat in your room? A bit rediculous if youve walked allover rome and have brought a nice sandwich or something back with you. Location is brilliant- walkable to everything did 70,000 steps in 3 days . I got this hotel at a steal - worth noting the terrace rooms arent private its looked upon by dormitories and other rooms. If i got the same price i would maybe stay again but for me theres better out there with the facilities mentioned
