- Sharmalee (2/5): - The location is good, everything else is awfully. The room smells like a sex and cigarette. The bathroom was dirty and smells like loop. You can see molds on the walls and floor. The bathroom sink needed proper cleaning, you can see hair and toothpaste residue. The furnitures are old and out dated. I couldn't sleep due to the loud noise coming from the rooftop club (I was on the second floor). The club ended at 4 am.

- Sunil (2/5): - One of the worst hotels that I have stayed in ever. The room was not cleaned properly with food (french fries etc) lying on the carpet. The toilert roll holder in the bathroom was broken, no mat for the bathroom floor, a work desk without any chair, the bathroom door wouldn't close properly unless you pull it really hard from outside. I showed all of this to one of the hotel guys just before checking out. I also gave the feedback to the reception at checkout and the guy there said to report it all online - he was completely indifferent and unapologetic about the state of the rooms.

I had to complain about the internal phone not working, missing towels and missing tea cups. Rachelle at reception sorted them out very promptly. She was a pleasure to deal with , even extended my check out by a little, even though I didn't end up using that extension.

I slipped and hurt my back and went down to let them know. They did nothing about it and just ignored anything i said. Definitely will not stay there again.

- liban (2/5): - Twice they changed my suite due to air condition not functioning. Bathrooms leaking from ceiling in the first room I was checked in and room was hot with no air condition. Maintenance, called and still could not fix. They never changed my room for two nights. I had to sleep waking up sweating in the middle of night. They switched me third night to a known broken room with no air condition again and bathroom leaking. Almost broke my neck after taking a shower because floor was full of water. Staff at reception were rude and never gave me anything for complimentary or refund after second night. They kept saying hotel is full avoiding to change me to a better room. If you are on vacation it’s the worst place to stay. Hotel is old. I don’t see anything I could compliment on. Restuarant basically has nothing good about it visually or the food. I would never stay this hotel again. Be warned, don’t ruin your holiday and be attracted by the low price only to experience loud noise from the hindi club and Philippine club in the lobby and old, broken HVAC, broken bathrooms that are flooded after bath or showers. They are rated as four star, they must have bribed to get that many stars. I wouldn’t even give them any star.

- Jeaneta (2/5): Hell hole!! NOT A 4* AT ALL - First of all we have been going there for the past 7 yrs... when it was called Flora Grand...then Lotus Retreat now Howard Johnson. Things have going from bad to worst. Towels was so worn and off white i would not use for my floors. Could not let water out basin had to ask for help. Suppose to have had a king size bed but a dble bed. Reception says thats what you booked thats what you get. First room had a freshly wet painted bath. We were full of paint while trying to shower. Oh hell what a place!!!!
- CARL (6/5): - This property is heavily booked and used. The rate per night is average and good for budget travelers. the staff is friendly and respectful. However, the rooms are standard and in need for renovations. We had problems with black mold and roaches in the rooms. Management addressed the issue with a new room but the same conditions were found.
- Krishna (4/5): Bad experience.. House keeping is terrible... - The room was not clean, heavy smoking smell. Bathrooms were not ready with Body wash gel and Soaps. It was empty. The response from Reception was very pathetic. After so much shouting they shifted to a new room. The room has lot of small cockroches.. In the nights it is visible in rooms, toilets everywhere.. like it is a hatchery... No pest control done.

We had to change rooms on the second day because our room keys were not working and there were cockroaches in rooms. Unfortunately there were cockroaches in the second room as well, and there was water leakage in the bathroom. Just overall a bad experience at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was good though.
- Douglas (8/5): Well recommended. - Good stuff: 4 minute walk to metro, 1 minute walk to convenience store, 6 minute walk to mall. Unheated pool (in January), comfortable large room with mini fridge. Maintenance responded quickly to broken water heater switch. Bad stuff: dull thumping noise from night club and noise in the street most of the night. Granted, it's a big city and a densely populated area. Impossible to take a shower without the floor getting wet but easily remedied with the bath mat.

I got a smoking room and had to kill 2 roaches upon arrival and couldn’t reach the one in the ceiling. I checked out after a day and the management wouldn’t either credit my other night nor even an apology.

My family checked in at 3am because our flight was delayed and when we reached the hotel there were prostitutes waiting outside of the hotel. In regards to the cleanliness our room was very untidy There were cockroaches in the room and in the fridge. I was very unsatisfied by the hotel hospitality

I came to hotel at night and requested for early checkin and they said you can come around 9 or 10 for early checkin and if there is room available surely they will but around 12 for sure they will offer room however they gave the room late. 2. On first day i slept and woke up late in evening and left the hotel however when i came late i saw few cockroaches which i killed and slept however other day for almost 24 hours i was killing cockroaches and hotel did not take any action. There was a time when there were tiny cockroaches were next to my bed and then i couldnt sleep and went to reception with my luggage late in night and stayed in lobby for 6 hours. I wanted to report the matter but the hotel was not responding through room phone so i had to use hotel lobby phone to reach reception. The hotel sent spray but there were one too many. They keep coming and too tiny that i couldnt sleep 3. I also caught cockroaches in hotel main lobby. 4. I reported the matter to staff and they told me its common. The Hotel Management think themselves above law. They also told me that whenever inspection team comes hotel says they are full and they dont have room so the inspection team never see the issues. 5. The staff also told many other customers reported same issues many times but no support. 6. They offered me refund for my stay and they didnt give later.

- Jawad (2/5): Not a 4 star - Its not a 4 star hotel not even 2.5 i wss with my wife and 2 kids they gave 2 twin beds for extra bed they were asking 100 more aed , so dirty bathroom faucet was lose moving around, i wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone,

- satish (2/5): - Where do i start one of the rooms i was provided had no tub and the water would flow everywhere and not dry up so falling hazard was bad also the sink piping had a crack so when you would use it water would drain all over ,I asked for a room change which came after a bit of waiting anyways room was provided but the cleanliness was sub par cockroaches and spiders were very present the bathroom sink tap was leaking abit of water asked for a repair and same thing again even though he changed the tap so no use,bathroom tub caulking mold on caulking like I dont think a maintenance team exists at this hotel plus the smoke smell is bad.This hotel needs to be shutdown and get some upgrades only nice thing was the concierge staff were amazing.I would never stay in the hotel again

- Douglas Samuel (10/5): - Conveniently located, all the staff was very helpful and nice, there were always people for our room with cleaning and towels, pool too was nice. Karaoke bar was small and smoky and required a drink purchase to stay, and I do not imbibe.

- Amir (6/5): - Housekeeping was slacking. Sheets were not changed they would just make the bed and change the garbage no other cleaning. Used coffee cups were left in the washroom filled with water. Not sure why they wont take it. Wifi wont work well in some areas of the room. housekeeping and guest services number always busy had to keep going to the front desk for anything. Average breakfast and way too expensive.
- Ali (2/5): - Horrible is an understatement. EVERYTHING is beyond horrible, from how dirty & stinky rooms are, including the bed. They also stole money and wouldn't refund because I refused to check in due to the condition of the room and they didn't give me money that I had pre-paid for.

- stuart (8/5): - The hotel is in a good location near plenty of shops and places to eat with the metro station only 300 meters away. The room was very nice but the bathroom was in need of an update and the built in hair dryer needed replacing.
- Simon (10/5): - The staff was excellent, Mr Anuj and Mr Raevees were very attentive to clients needs and thorough when cleaning the rooms. Hotel is clean and all areas are open. Everything works and bed very comfortable.

- Kanta (4/5): - Bollywood Club which plays music every night. Music can be heard on the 5th floor till the early hours. Rooms are dated. Had to beg for towels / clean glasses / remote control. Booked a Junior Suite and was told after 5 hours of waiting that they were fully booked and they didn't have this available. Offered me a deluxe room at a lower price but would not refund me the difference. They put us in a suite which was dated. Leaking ceiling, very dirty cloth furniture, taps that were not secured, slippery bathroom floor due to drainage systems. Jacuzzi & One lift (out of two) were under maintenance. No umbrellas by the pool. Water cooler by the pool was "under maintenance". Very Disappointed and would not stay there again.
- Eric (4/5): Hotel in very poor condition - avoid. - Staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel is in quite the state of disrepair. Fixtures not working, significant wear and tear in the room and common areas, no hot water in the shower or faucets, poor standard of cleaning between guests (I found many hairs that were not mine) Would not recommend staying here, it’s not equivalent to other hotels in the chain elsewhere in the world, and not nearly four stars.
- heuda (2/5): - Very noisy hotel. You can hear the elevator ring all night, people chatting and ven music even if i was on the 5th floor. I have specifically asked for a quiet room but they dont have any
- Sajid (10/5): Calm , Clean , Cool - I chose this as this was 4 star and it was near two Metro stations. I had no complaints. staff was super helpful. The hotel stay was calm & peaceful with no noise or music. The rooftop has 5G! Nearby access to Grocery & Resturants.
- Hilda (8/5): - Hotel is a bit outdated, wifi unsecured, I was unable to connect to VPN due high risk detected by my IT security. I addressed the cleanses issues with the hotel and they acted on it. Towels were old, and had a strong chemical smell.
- Nazish (8/5): 3 out of 5 - Check in was very smoothly but check out was very very unprofessional.we was waiting for bell boy to pick up our luggages but the lady came in our room without permission n open the washroom door.It was very unprofessional.

- Mr KABIR (8/5): Nice and clean hotel - It’s a nice hotel to stay. I previously stayed 2 times in this hotel. I also stayed many times when it was called Flora grand hotel. However, in last visit I noticed when I approached the reception area the lady behind the counter cannot find my booking. She would keep me waiting for 20 mins then she told me that she’s got the booking. I have no complaint about the hotel. Room are very nice and clean. 5 mins walk from metro.
