The location is very close to every major museum, church, and palace. The room we were in was charming and goes with the old house. There was a minor repair issue that couldn’t be fixed in our short stay. There are mosquitoes so come prepared!

• Hans-Erich (8/5): Gerne wieder. - Die Lage ist gut. Wenige Schritte zum Teatro La Fenice, ca 7 Min. zum Marcus Platz und auch zur Academia Brücke. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Gute Restaurant Tips vom Personal. Das Rührei zum Frühstück ist aus dem Tetra Pack. Hier empfehle ich dem Hotel dieses lieber frisch zuzubereiten. Sonst gute Auswahl für italienische Verhältnisse.
• Amber (1/5): Would not be back to that hotel. Was not worth the money - The staff was great and the location The size of the room is very small. Couldn't move around with the luggage in the room. The bed was pushed up against the wall, so you had to climb over the person you were with. The bed was like laying on a piece of wood. There was only half a bathroom door, and you could not adjust the shower head. The breakfast was subpar, not worth the extra charge. You could not adjust the A/C even with the thermostat in the room. There was a restaurant manager working the reception desk at one point. He told us that he owns a restaurant down the road that we must go there to eat and no where else. Made us very uncomfortable.

• Alina (10/5): A wonderful stay with a magical view! - Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade that overlooked the canal, which was a highlight of our trip and made us very happy. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The hotel is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and everything was very clean. The location is excellent, situated right in the center and close to all the main attractions. We also enjoyed the breakfast. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The staff were excellent and Marcos hospitality was excellent from providing drinks on the water terrace to walking us to an amazing restaurant near by. The hotel was very nice delicious breakfast every morning and superb staff. Elena, at the front desk receptionist was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. She made me feel at home with her genuine support to my questions. She truly cares about her guest at this historical Hotel Becher which is across from where young Mozart also stayed when he visited Venice. Highly recommend this Hotel and would definitely stay again. Seven minute walk feo St Mark Basilica. Beautiful decor and clean rooms.

• Tamiko (10/5): Wonderful hotel and excellent staff! - The hotel staff were excellent! So friendly, welcoming and helpful- truly wonderful people that made it a pleasure during our stay. Our rooms weren't ready since we arrived at 9am, but they saved us cappuccino on the dock with a beautiful view. They stored our luggage and brought it yo our room when we got back to the hotel. We had a junior suite with gorgeous views over a canal and saw many gondoliers going by. Location was excellent- only a few minutes to piazza San Marco. Breakfast was wonderful with a great variety. We truly loved our stay here and cannot thank the wonderful staff for making this a fantastic girl trip for me and my friend! If I had to pick something, the bed was not the most comfortable - but it was fine.

• Andrea (8/5): Authentic Venetian Hotel in Great Location - Really good location and really friendly staff. We requested twin beds, shower cubicle and if possible, overlooking the canal, we got all three. Breakfast was basic but very nice. Smart TV in the room with apps that you can log in your personal streaming accounts. Very clean room. It’s a very old building with small rooms and our room had a very low ceiling, I don’t know if all the rooms are the same. We were located on the ground floor next to reception and unfortunately there were noisy people, in the reception area, on our last night.
• Kevin (10/5): An elegant, welcoming hotel with outstanding hospitality from Marco and Elena that truly captures the charm and romance - Stayed at Hotel Becher and the experience was incredible. Arriving by water taxi directly to the hotel entrance was unforgettable. The staff made me feel special from the moment I arrived, very welcoming and attentive. The room was cozy, romantic, and beautifully maintained. The outdoor lounge by the canal was a highlight, relaxing with a drink while watching gondolas pass by. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fresh options. Location is perfect, walking distance to everything including St. Mark’s Square. Honestly very little to complain about. One of the best parts is how accessible it is, you can arrive directly by water taxi at the entrance or easily reach it on foot, which gives you flexibility depending on how you want to explore Venice.

Our window opened up to the canal and you could listen singers on the gondolas go by. We loved our stay and would stay again. The room was warm without the windows open. I think this is normal for Italian hotels though as they don’t use the air conditioning in March.

Bize nereye nasıl gideceğimiz konusunda oldukça yardımcı oldular . Kahvaltısı öğün olarak yeterliydi çeşit fazlasıyla vardı. Otelin temizliği çok güzeldi her gün muntazam bir şekilde odamız temizlendi. Odamız kanal manzaralıydı ve hoş bir şekilde dekore edilmişti. Tekrar Venedik e gelecek olursak hiç düşünmeden kalacağım bir otel. Tüm görevlilere çok teşekkür ediyorum. Dil konusunda da zorlanınca bize yardımcı oldular 😉 Yok. Her şey süperdi

• Kimberly (10/5): The best experience more than we hoped for. - The 2 young ladies at the front desk were so awesome. They refused to let us move our luggage ourselves. They took all of it to our room after showing us the way first! They ordered our water taxi to the airport and when it came, once again they would not let us get our luggage loaded ourselves! They would bring our wine and prosecco to us either to our room or sitting outside. The breakfast was well organized and plentiful. The ladies managing that area were also polite, friendly and efficient. We will love to stay the next time in Venice. The rooms are a little small but beautiful, it’s so comfortable and we loved opening our windows and watching the boats and gondola going by. Hotel decor was beautiful. Loved the room key attached to the bell.

• KENNETH (10/5): Beautiful Venice Hotel with wonderful views of the canal - The property was right on the canal and close to everything we needed. The staff was very kind and extremely helpful. We originally booked the standard room with the balcony and upon arrival was kindly surprised to be upgraded to the junior suite. We loved hearing and seeing the gondolas go up and down the canal. We heard and seen all of the beautiful birds while on the balcony. The room was comfortable and we slept very well. We highly recommend the hotel. There wasn’t a thing wrong with the hotel. It was FABULOUS!!!!

From Marc and Armon and the ladies at reception to the ladies who serve breakfast, everyone was kind and lovely. We were made to feel like welcome guests. And the hotel itself is perfectly Venetian, in style and decor. The location is really good and ideal for access to Piazza San Marco and that sestiere. Thank you to all of the staff of Hotel Becher for the warmth and welcome. We were very safe and comfortable and our stay was very enjoyable. The breakfast is great, with a plentiful variety of foods. Marc welcomed us on our check in with Prosecco, and then brought us to a nearby ristorante. We so enjoyed our time in Venice while staying at Hotel Becher. The correspondence before arriving was also appreciated, with offers of assistance with transport to and from airport etc., which is always a concern.

• Gomez Gil (10/5): Un hotel perfecto 👌 - He ido varias veces a Venecia y he estado en otros hoteles muy costosos ,pero este es el mejor relación calidad,precio,ubicación. La recepcionista Elena es un encanto,profesional,atenta,simpática,servicial y habla perfectamente español.Hizo todo lo posible para que entráramos un poco antes a la habitación ya que teníamos una cita y teníamos que cambiarnos. El hotel tiene una pequeña y coqueta terraza con una vista al canal de 10!!! Desayunar allí era de ensueño!!!Tienen un pequeño bar con unos precios muy buenos. Las habitaciones están bien,partiendo de la base que es Venecia y sus edificios son muy antiguos. El colchón era muy cómodo y la habitación muy amplia con vista al canal.El desayuno pequeño ,pero no le falta de nada y buena calidad. Hemos tenido una estancia maravillosa!! La ubicación de 10 👏🏻. Lo único negativo por poner una pequeña pega ,es la ducha ,la mampara estaba rota y salía un poco de agua…pero nada importante.

Our flight was early and they had us checked into our room with luggage into the room within about 15 minutes we were off exploring this beautiful place right away.

Leve malas pequenas. Os funcionários são ótimos. O hotel possui uma decoração temática de Veneza, muito bonita. Possui deck para o canal podendo utilizar táxi. É possível acompanhar as gôndolas do quarto. O café da manhã é excelente. Tivemos sorte de ter sempre lugar, mas possui apenas três mesas.

• Dulce (10/5): An affordable hotel with canal view. - This is a beautiful place to stay in Venice with a canal view without having to spend fortunes. I was even given a free room upgrade. The staff are so kind and very welcoming, from the front desk to the restaurant staff, they are all so very nice. One time I had to leave the hotel early because I booked a day trip tour to Dolomites and they allowed me to have super early breakfast so I won’t have to leave the hotel with an empty stomach. (I give them 10 out of 5 stars if not even more 🥺).🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Major attractions are within a stones throw and I felt so safe despite traveling alone. Venice is a place like no other, I am grateful I booked at the perfect place for my vacation. ❤️ There was nothing I didn’t like.
• lütfiye (3/5): Hayalkırıklığı!… - Otelin konumunu beğendik. Suit odanın, (gecelik 300 euro ödediğimiz) kanal a bakıyor olmasını beğendik. Çalışanlar güleryüzlü idi. 3 yıldızlı bir otel olduğu halde suit odada kalınca üstelik ciddi bir oda fiyatı ödeyince azıcık özen bekliyorsunuz. Ancak incecik bir battaniye serili yatağı, tam ısıtmayan kliması, eskimiş örtüleri, yırtılmış perdeyi, su sızdıran banyoyu görünce gerçekten seçimimizde yanıldığımızı anladık. Venedikte her yer kanal zaten, kanalı pencereyi açıp ancak aşağı bakınca göreceğimiz bu odaya hiç gerek yokmuş. Günler öncesinden yıldönümü kutlamaya geliyoruz yazmama rağmen ve 2 kişi olmamıza rağmen! Odada sadece 1 adet kahve makinesinin yanında su vardı. 2 kişiye kahve yapsın diye 1 adet su…. Ve 2 adet kapsül. Kahvaltı odasına birkaç kişi anca sığar. Yumurtalar artık hangi gün haşlanmıştı bilmiyorum… yeşil rengine bakınca tahmin edemedim. Ve Otelde 2 gece boyunca sadece biz konaklıyorduk :) İlk defa kahvaltılı seçtiğimiz bir otelde sadece kapalı yoğurt ve cappucino alabildik. Bir de 2 adet muz… yani bu fiyata inanılmazzzz kötü bir tecrübeydi.

Room lovely and warm (stayed in December) Perfect location (next to Theatre) so easy to find and close walking distance to the main square. Staff happy & friendly and lovely breakfast in the morning with eggs, bacon, cheese and pastries. Highly recommend.
