Guest Reviews
- Ana (10/5): Odlično - Lokacija odlična, osoblje pristupačno i suradljivo.

- Rowena (3/5): - We can't fault the Staff. They were more than happy to oblige. Very friendly and polite and helpful. We were in a basement room. Window difficult to open. Phone in room didn't work. Sheets didn't fit the bed. Only one pillow each. Fan didn't work. However, staff member did replace fan for us. Shower door didn't close. Hand held shower. Ants on bathroom sink. Cold tap difficult to turn on. One bath towel each. No hand towel or bathroom mat to stand on when exiting shower from bath. One toilet roll. Room was small for two people. Extremely large paintings and one Extremely large mirror in room, which made room feel closterphobic.

- Claire (10/5): - The staff were so excellent!!! The room was old and the bed wasn't comfortable
- David (2/5): -

- Sophia (1/5): The worst place I’d ever booked. - Nothing unfortunately, it was so awful I left 2 hours after I checked in as I couldn’t bear to stay there any longer. I felt very unsafe here as a lone female. The front door was left open at all times so anyone could just stroll on in- nobody was manning reception majority of the time so unable to monitor who was coming in and out.
As for the room, it was absolutley dreadful. The door didn’t lock unless I used my entire body weight against it. I had a room that was adjacent to another buildings window (ground floor) who could see fully into the room I was in as the curtains didn’t close properly and were broken.
The shower was filthy, my towels had old what looked like blood stains, and the room was just insanity.
I would heavily advise against staying here- it is nothing like the photos unfortunately. The price is also ridiculous. As I said, I left due to feeling unsafe and booked another hotel last minute which was 100 better for £50 less.

- Maureen (1/5): - The location was handy other than that I didn't like anything about the hotel at all. There were hairs in the bath and on the kettle upon arrival, the pictures do not look like the hotel at all, you can see it was once a beautiful place but it is now very run down. The beds were uncomfortable, upon arrival we were sat waiting 20 minutes for someone to arrive at the hotel to allow us to check in. No one was present for us checking out despite telling the staff when we would be checking out. Whole experience was a joke, I would advise against booking with this hotel.
- Susan (7/5): - Staff were really helpful, location was great, very unique hotel with character.
Room was clean and well equipped with fridge, hairdryer and kettle Very weak water pressure on the top floor, and the bed was creaky and not very comfortable.
- Susan (7/5): - The building was lovely and the staff were very helpful.
Bed was very comfortable The floor was very uneven, and the stairs narrow, not really accessable
- Louise (10/5): -
- Natasha (5/5): - The location The room was cold, bed was uncomfortable & wasn't as clean as I would have liked. No lifts, 4th floor.
- NicholaJA (5/5): - Location. Price. It was very cold, and the fan heater that plugged into the mains socket was smelly. The shower was extremely small.
- Jack (1/5): Awful - Good location Room was stained and unclean. Peeling wallpaper. Raised this with staff who spent most of the day on the phone loudly.
- Jake (8/5): -
- Anne (3/5): The hotels atmosphere felt worn down and “empty” - Very sweet young man in the reception who helped carry our suitcases up to the room. He was very friendly and had a warm aura.
And the location is great with regards to walking distance to downtown. It looked nothing like the photos. Like it was so old and worn down. The common areas looked like they hadn’t been used in years (which is a shame, that’s one of the reasons o chose a hotel and not an Airbnb bc I wanted to be able to sit in like a lobby/commmon area and relax instead of just in a room.
Also the room was tiny and bed not good, and like it felt so old and not maintained well. For that price I expected much more. I honestly feel stupid for being so relatively much for a room in such a condition, and for example there was no bath mat or a new roll of toilet paper. No shampoo or nothing. And like the mini refrigerator looked as if it hadn’t been used for many years. But Mosley the whole vibe felt like an abandoned hotel which maybe once were nice but not any more. Didn’t have a soul. The guy at the reception was kind, but apart from that it was a very odd feeling staying there. Like the toilet downstairs next to the reception was not well kept and not hand soup or towels, nothing. Didn’t feel like a hotel worthy of that many stars.
- Corinne (7/5): Great location, friendly staff and a very comfortable bed - would recommend - The central location was great and the bed was very comfortable The bathroom could have been cleaner, especially the bottom of the shower and the TV signal wasn't great
- Sheila Handy (1/5): - Hairs in the bed
- Mark (8/5): - The location is perfect, walking distance to both Oxford Street and Baker Street Road noise in the bedroom, would prefer better soundproofing
- Caitlin (6/5): Good value for money , great area , clean - Great area , clean, easy access Slightly run down
- HAYLEY (8/5): -
- Nicola (3/5): Absolutely dreadful, shabby, btoken! - Broken bed, broken window (would not stay open), broken radiator (no valve so could not turn it off), no mattress protectors. Shabby, silver fish in bathroom and broken bed meant I was rolling out of bed. Terrible nigjts sleep.
- Richard (3/5): - Location Staff one of which was smoking weed outside and stoned on the job.
No lift so lots of stair climbing !
- ENDA (8/5): -
- Polly (8/5): I slept amazingly the bed was very comfortable - Very cute little hotel right in London, The property is very charming, the staff were very nice.
- BATI (10/5): - ممتاز
- Alice (8/5): Would stay again. Great location and staff - I liked the friendliness of the staff. Checking in was the quickest I’ve ever had!
The cleanliness of the room exceeded my expectations.
Whilst the mattress was mediocre, I thought the duvet was good quality
Great location and value for money for London
Would stay again!
- Mille (2/5): -
- Sebastian (5/5): -
- Ivan (4/5): - Cold tab didn’t work on sink. no handle for shower head so hade to hold it to was yourself. Bathroom very damp and self like stale water not good for your heath.
- Kim (3/5): Oh dear!!!!! - Location, close to where we needed to be No TV remote control, so couldn't use TV. Was ready for bed when realised, so could go to reception. No soap in either of the dispensers. Was already in shower....... Grrrr No one on reception when we checked out so could report issues.
- Giorgio Arnaldo (10/5): - Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Posizione magnifica e molto tranquilla. Perfetto per un soggiorno a Londra
- Renee (8/5): -
- Kirsty (6/5): - Good size room, nice and bright. Attractive building, some care with furniture and decoration. Small desk, adequate, good size bathroom. Wifi works. Usually none around, narrow stairs.
Would make a big difference and make it much more welcoming to have a few more pillows on the bed, and maybe a bedspread?
- Neil (2/5): Prime location definitely not opulent - Location First room in basement second room could have been lovely but so many broken items from toilet seat to lampshades furniture ripped and horrible smell from toilet with one shower gel and one shampoo
- Ash (2/5): - Terrible experience, room was exceptionally hot and no way of turning off the radiator. We asked staffed and they said they would fix it, got back after our evening out and nothing had changed. Complained again to be told there’s nothing they could do. The rooms window wouldn’t stay open so they provided us with a fan. I’m fighting for a refund.
- Rosamund (8/5): -
- Marco (10/5): -
- Angela (7/5): Small and cosy. - Friendly receptionist. Room was small and hot. Had to keep window open.
Shower was small and shower head was fixed in position making showering difficult.
No molton brown products as advertised.
Refrigerator did not work.
Reception was not manned 24/7.
- Mark (1/5): -
- Francien (7/5): -
- Theodora (8/5): Great location with clean rooms, underwhelming but gets the job done. - Great location, pretty clean, good place to just leave my stuff, get ready, and sleep No elevator, front desk attendants were not always around, expensive for the size of the rooms and little amenities offered.
- Stuart (1/5): Basement grubby room. - Location Beds, small uncomfortable and no mattress protection.
Facilities like bathroom poor and generally grubby
- Philip (4/5): - It really was noisy: I had a downstairs room and throughout the night there was the sound of someone above me walking around-perhaps the concierege
- Liz (3/5): - Great location Definitely not opulent or boutique. Cramped room, which was old and not very clean. Not good value at all, wouldn't stay there again.
- Lucie (8/5): - The hotel is very small, nothing to write home about except for the service. The staff was wonderful. They treated us so beautifully with great respect and because my partner had a bad hip, they moved us from the top floor to an upgraded room on the second floor. They were extremely helpful, kind, and friendly. If you’re expecting something fantastic this is not your spot if you just want a very reasonable boutique hotel in a superb area. This is your spot if you’re fussy don’t go here if you just wanna come home relax put your feet up and go to sleep. It’s perfect. Nothing above and beyond, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay no judgement thank you again to the beautiful staff.
- Peter (8/5): -
- Verity (5/5): Would have liked to seen other rooms as ours really let it down - The location was perfect , could walk easily to different locations and get to transport close by Unfortunately they have building work going on next door that started around 7am and was so loud it felt like they was knocking through our bedroom walls. Our room was very tired and needed some TLC especially in the bathroom
- Halleh (4/5): - The hotel is in a great neighborhood. However, there are no elevators. I had to go up and down 4 flight of narrow stairs going in or out of my room.
When I arrived there the reception of empty. There was no note on the counter, and no one around!! I had to wait for at least 15 minutes for someone to show up! This was in the middle of the day.
Room has no air conditioning, and the window would not stay up for long and it would randomly slide down with a loud noise. The bathroom was very small, the bathroom sink old and very low.
I selected this hotel because it was rated at 9.0 on Expedia!!! Definitely a wrong rating.
- Victoria (9/5): -
- Ibrahim Can (8/5): Suitable for weekend getaway and great location - We had a nice stay which is near to the Oxford street and Baker street. The personel was very friendly and they made our stay easy. The rooms were clean. The hotel is a bit old, but not dirty. Baths are small and no lift is available for higher floors.
- Grant (6/5): -
- Paul (4/5): Opulent, no - Opulent no. Our room was on the top, fourth floor, and the card key did not work. We were out until 8pm so at the desks we were assured that we would get a new key on our return, which was true but it failed to work on the following day. Lady at reception told us that her master key was at home and husband was bringing it in, 30-40 minutes. Not good enough as we were looking to grab our luggage and go sightseeing, which had to be cancelled.
The room was small and a bit tired to say the least. The cold tap did not work and I was scared to undo as it was going to come off. The shower head in the bath leaked from everywhere and was therefore a bit lacking in pressure. The larger of the fans in the room did not work and as there was no air-con, this made it uncomfortable on a night at 18c. Fortunately the bed was comfy and I slept pretty well.
Altogether a very bad experience but wanted to try an independent hotel for a change. Sadly, we will be going back to Premiers and Hiltons from now on.
- Eva (10/5): - Perfect location
- Hassan (10/5): - Very good location and value for money
- Petya (7/5): Good room with small bathroom size. Comfortable bed was important more for us. - Can be little cheaper the price, for too small bathroom 🚽 that we were offered. All the bed and the chair was comfortable in the room. Can try less times for this price Of £100 per night It’s kind of princely for us. Cause was for our special day wedding we booked for 1 night for the location was convenient ✨!! Thanks 🙏 Bed was comfortable thanks 🙏
- Paul (5/5): Passable - It was ok Small room.seen better days. Bit gloomy.
- Mark (7/5): London was sweltering in a heat wave so lack of A/C was an issue - Location Lack of air conditioning
- K (7/5): Good -
- Natalia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oliver (4/5): A budget option, that somehow feels as though you’re not getting what you’re paying for. - It was in a good location for where I was visiting in London.
The receptionist did upgrade me to a double room for no extra cost as it was available. No aircon, shower didn’t work properly, lots of moths in the room, not the cleanest place, decor is very old and needs updating
- George (9/5): Water pressure was a bit low in the shower, otherwise everything was great -
- Carmen (1/5): Bad -
- Geoffrey (8/5): Very good - Lovely welcome from the host, nice simple well equipped room. Nothing to report really.
- Brian (9/5): Superb -
- Melissa (5/5): Nice receptionist. dissapionted - The stair well was very inviting. It was clean. The lady who booked us in was very nice We didn’t see the room we were given on the web site do we wrongly assumed we would have a room that was on the web site We were right on the top of the guest house there was no lift. One pillow each one tea bag each. The water from the shower wasn’t worth having not worth having, it was a dribble. Not what we expected
- Carol (8/5): Very good - Very good location Lots if stairs, can't do much about that. If you're not good on stairs it's not for you
- Anonymous (4/5): Not a great stay, other rooms may be better - Great location, easy to get to. Wonky floor in bedroom and bathroom made you feel unstable. Spare pillows were very stained. Lots of noise from builders to start with and a very loud creaky door that was being used from 6am all morning.
- Anonymous (9/5): Relaxing and Comfortable stay, where I’ll definitely stay again in the future! - Very lovely staff and great for location as wasn’t a far walk from station! I had a lovely double bed too! There was no bath mat when I got out the shower so nearly slipped on the tiles! Other than that was a gorgeous stay!
- Jack (1/5): Absolute vile place and i wouldnt recommend, doesnt look like pictures - Nothing it was filthy and dirty The windows didnt open properly, there was filler above the windows, the plug sockets were blown, there was no water, they have no smart tv’s,the bath was vile, very dusty, the matress was stained and dirty, the lampshades looked asif they hadnt been cleaned in about 50 years.
- Simon (1/5): Unclean definitely not boutique - None Very very unclean
Mouldy bathroom
Sheets dirty
One bed half broken
No plug socket next to kettle so you have to do it in the floor
- Mark (4/5): Disappointing - The location. Dirty sheets and overall cleanliness were poor.
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bukola (5/5): Passable -
- Muideen (1/5): higly priced, poor and dirty - Location Dilapidated furniture and fittings, too long stairs and not suitable for people with mobility needs. Dust on surfaces, towels had visible stains
- Serdar (6/5): Pleasant - There could be more shampoo and hot water, there was no cold water in shower! We had to complete our shower under hot water. And also in photo they showed quite big room and given tiny room…Apart from these it was great …. I would book again
- Karen (3/5): Poor - The location The stairs to.the rooo. Bo ea
Restaurant or bar it was was old inside staff couldn't get hold of staff when needed to.asl a question until after u arrived home its not 24 hour service
- John (2/5): - My stay here was so poor that I checked out early. The room was not as advertised - in particular, I lacked access to laundry facilities and a desk, which were the amenities listed that I most needed. The "desk" provided was a small table without enough room for a laptop that was placed in a corner and used to store the kettle, fan, and space heater. There was also no chair which might fit at the desk, and so even if I moved everything and pulled the desk out to a useable position I could not sit there. Furthermore, the facilities were lacking. My sink faucets were tempermental. The bathroom lights flickered for several seconds after being turned on. The showerhead was placed very low, and I would wonder how anyone taller than me (165cm) would use it. The furniture was broken in several places, and some public areas of the hotel were obviously being used for storage. The area is also very noisy.
Service was poor from check-in onwards. I did not see the front desk staffed at any point in the day, and so one had to ring a bell and wait several minutes for service. I had a very confusing interaction with the employee who checked me in because he was indistinguishable from any other guest. On the day I left, there was a new digital sign that advised guests to call for service. But this did not seem to match the 24 hour desk service described.
There were only two positive points: the bed was quite comfortable, and the housekeeping staff did a decent job.
- Grantas (4/5): - The hotel is just very rundown and unclean, rooms have a load of dust every where even on places you’d think they’d clean.
Unfortunately it was a bit of a let down but the location is easy to get around from along with a nice member of staff at reception, I would however say that if your looking for a peaceful nights sleep this may not be for you. Loads and loads of stains everywhere, not a properly working shower, missing light bulbs etc.
Sorry but not the best experience.
- Naomi (9/5): Welcoming staff and a clean bright room - It’s kind of basic when you walk in but I stayed in Room 1 top floor on my own. It was really clean and lovely big window with sunshine . Nothing really it is what it is. A clean room to stay in with all amenities
