- Robin (9/5): Location.... location... location - We have stayed here before and it meets all of our needs. Although it is so central (2-5 mins from Trafalgar Square) it is also super quiet. The bustle of London is not audible. For us it was important to have a place where we could have a downtime midday before going out again. Perfect to leave luggage pre checking in or after checking out which allows you to do things in London before you are actually allowed to check in or you don't have to cart your luggage with you if you still want to do that last thing in London before you leave. Loved the guest cupboard on each floor where you could get your extras if you forgot those at home (shaving cream & razor, shower cap, toothbrush &paste, sewing kit, extra tea & milk... etc) Unfortunately there is no fridge in the room which is a great pity. Also it stated that there are hydration stations ( water & ice dispenser units) on every floor which wasn't true and I found out at 3am it was a bit challenging to find out that on the 5th floor there was none (no big deal....it would have just been handy to know)

- BORIS (7/5): Do not be fooled when they say you'll be at The Grand - The hotel is perfectly located, almost right at Trafalgar Square, as described. The cleaning staff was very efficient. You are actually not staying at The Grand! Surprise-surprise! For whatever reason, never explained, they check you in and place you at the Club, which is inside the same building but in a different wing. Whether it is better or not is impossible to say, but our room was small and well-hidden inside the corridors.

- Mark (7/5): Great location for a hotel, im sure building in its days was magnificent but seen better days. - Location was excellent, just next to Trafalgar Square and virtually in the theatre district. Tube just down the road and taxis easily available, if you like walking Buckingham Palace and Big Ben only a few minutes away. Its a great location. Hotel made no sense, Bar only took cards and very limited selection, there was a restaurant (think) but wasn't part of the hotel, beautiful old building but rooms were very small and certainly needed refurbishing, bed very comfortable but the biggest tv was on wall at end of bed which mad enough sense.

They handled all our requests incredibly quickly. We asked for slippers and they were delivered to our room almost immediately. We also requested our online delivery, and it arrived right away. The location was also very central and excellent. The exterior of the building, as well as the lobby ceiling and walls, were beautiful. The furniture in the room was quite old. The shower had a curtain, which did not feel very hygienic. There was also a noticeable smell in the corridors and in the rooms. Both the corridors and the rooms felt somewhat stuffy and poorly ventilated. Cleanliness could definitely have been better, and the bed sheets did not seem to be changed for several days. The worst part was the extra bed—it was extremely narrow and very uncomfortable. The room lacked basic amenities—there were no slippers or items like cotton buds provided.

- MIREN NEKANE (8/5): Muy bien, sobre todo la ubicación. - La ubicación es espectacular, el desayuno está bien, el típico desayuno inglés, y bollería rica. La habitación de un tamaño muy correcto, mas grande de lo habitual que te puedes encontrar en Londres. Me gustó mucho la sala que hay para disfrute exclusivo de los clientes donde te puedes tomar un café, te o similar de forma gratuita en cualquier momento del día. También es de agradecer que en todas las plantas del hotel hay maquinas con botellas rellenables de agua donde puedes obtener agua purificada también de forma gratuita. Y añadir especial mención a la amabilidad de todo el personal Lo peor es que aparentemente el hotel es como de un lujo un poco anticuado, y las habitaciones están un poco obsoletas. Yo estuve hace doce años y están igual que entonces, al estar tan anticuadas dan aspecto de suciedad pero es verdad que para nada están sucias. Y no me gusto que la habitación daba a un patio que no podíamos ver porque los cristales eran opacos y las ventanas no se podían abrir y siendo tres adultos en la habitación hubiese estado bien poder abrir.

- Yves (5/5): - central location in london, rooms with enough space, all for a reasonable price (compared to central London) There where free water stations in each floor, and you can take free coffee & tea in the lobby area. clean rooms and an elegant classical design. i took one breakfast and was a bit dissapointed. The buffet selection was okay, but the quality of the food was unacceptable for a 4-star hotel; what’s more, the staff seemed very overwhelmed and rushed that morning. I would therefore advise against having breakfast at the hotel and would look for a restaurant nearby - You will get more for your money

- Teresa (7/5): Hotel bien situado, pero muy caro para el estado de mantenimiento, ya que es bastante anticuado en instalaciones y mobil - La ubicación Nos dieron una habitación, considerada superior, con una ventana que no se podía abrir y los cristales estaban empapelados, y el baño era una especie de cajón en una e. Nos quejamos y nos pasaron a una habitación exterior muy agradable.

- RIKO (7/5): 立地と建物だけ立派、ハードは良いがソフトがイマイチ - 立地、 それなりに広いが部屋が古い、くつろげ、心地よくない。 朝食はビュッフェ、会場は立派だが内容に乏しく、品質良くなく、美味しくなかった。 イングリッシュプレクファーストを期待していたのにガッカリ ロビーには椅子一つなく、椅子は横の廊下で吸う客、ウェルカム感がない。 デポジットの100 ポンドが初日に引き落とされていた！チェックアウトの後返却されたが今まで他のホテルでは引き落としされた事はなかった。感じの悪い風習

Way to small for my wife and I as we kept running into each other trying to maneuver around the one chair in the room.

- SCIARAFFA (7/5): je suis allée plusieurs fois dans cet hotel mais cest la dernière fois - Le changement de la chambre 809, Chambre n°809 à coté du système de climatisation impossible de dormir signaler à 02h30 du matin, douche brulante pas possible de se laver le mardi soir et mercredi matin. Chambre pour handicapé j'étais au courant mais dans la douche douchette fixe et barre de douche qui fonctionne seulement quand la douchette fixe est allumée !!!!!! La photo présentée dans ma réservation ne correspond pas (1 fenetre et non deux comme montré) Nous avons changé de chambre
