The one thing that stood out the most was how clean the entire hotel was - lobby, rooms, breakfast area, and restaurant. The parking garage under the hotel was a bonus for our rental car. Great place to recharge and relax.

Not a lot of character. - Proximity to airport for early flight in the AM Outdated hotel, was in a weird area of Florence, wouldn’t recommend if you are there to sight see. I only chose this hotel due to proximity to airport for early flight but wouldn’t recommend as there are many other boutique options for same price that are more charming.

• mattpJ9574SU (10/5): Great Hotel - We loved this hotel. We stayed for just over 1 week & we’re thrilled with it. It is located out of the main touristy area (about a 25 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio or the Uffizi Museum or Piazza del Duomo) and even closer to the edge of the tourist zone where there are lots of restaurants to choose from. We only took a cab 1 night to dinner (because it was raining a bit). The room was spacious enough for 3 of us without feeling jammed together. The bed (& pullout bed) were comfortable. The bathroom was large with more than ample water pressure. There is a nice restaurant that served a good breakfast to start the day. The hotel staff (Marco was very helpful with our coming & going over the 10 days) was friendly, polite & helpful - including several of the desk staff remembering our names. Room rates were maybe up just a touch from other places, but within range for everything the hotel offered. Very glad we stayed here.

• 566sydh (10/5): AC Hotel Florence - This hotel is located outside the city walls in a quiet but new area. It is within easy walking distance to all the sites such as Duomo, Ufizi and so forth. The hotel offers a hot buffer breakfast that is very good. The staff is very helpful and courteous and helped us with our daily trips. The hotel also has a bar and a restaurant where you can have dinner after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms are comfortable and the housekeeping is good and provided extra towels.

Mostly Reception Monica whose check in with us and asked how was our stay, greated us and let us check out check in process when the time she saw us and she gave us another keycard for another night. The breakfast was good although is limited. The room is perfectly cleaned but there's a leak in a bidet so we had to put a rags over the bidet everytime we used and our room has a bathtub. The mattress is a little bit hard and the pillow is too small.

• A6039KBdonm (10/5): AC Hotel Firenze Great Stay - We travelled around northern Italy this spring and kept finding ourselves booking into AC Hotels. While we are familiar with the brand in America, we were surprised to find they now have several hotels situated in many of Italy’s major cities. In Italy we noticed they are located in residential neighborhoods just off the main tourist area, so be prepared to walk from the train station about 15 minutes. However, once at the hotel it’s nice to stay at a clean, modern hotel at a reasonable price. They have a nice restaurant and bar and seem to appeal to both business people and tourists.

The hotel seems new or newly renovated, room is on the larger size and has plenty of room for luggage, the closet is open and I didn't care for that. There is a tea kettle and a coffee maker in the room, a safe and mini bar. The room also has a small table and two chairs. Amenities are Marriott standard, all you need is there. Breakfast was not included in our rate, we only had two coffees one day and the price for both was 6 EUR. It was very easy to go back and forth the center of town via public transportation. The taxi from the airport was 40 EUR. I recommend this hotel.

• anitamd070586 (10/5): Florence in the Fall - We are Marriott loyalists because you always know what you’re getting. The staff here were friendly and super helpful. It’s an away from the central area but easy to walk to most of the attractions. Cocktails were delicious. We didn’t eat here because there were too many other places to choose from. The gym could use a few more yoga mats but otherwise had the basic equipment to bike, run and do weights. We had a superior room which was spacious but had no closets, just hanging space and drawers. We would definitely go back.

• Ludwik (8/5): - I recently stayed at your hotel and wanted to share some observations and suggestions that could improve the overall guest experience. Safety Around the Building: I noticed some individuals loitering near the building entrance, which felt a bit uncomfortable. There were security staff inside, but it might be more effective to have them patrol outside periodically, especially near entrances and exits. Parkade Conditions: While I understand the parking facility may not be directly owned by the hotel, many guests use it. The lighting is quite dim, and the elevators were not working during my stay. It would go a long way in making guests feel more valued and safe if hotel security could occasionally patrol the area or if the hotel could collaborate with the parkade operator to improve conditions. Executive Lounge Experience: The executive lounge was underwhelming. It felt more like a cafeteria with limited food and beverage options and basic seating. A more premium experience in line with the "executive" label would be appreciated—perhaps better seating, a more refined layout, and an expanded selection. I hope you’ll consider these suggestions as opportunities to enhance guest comfort and satisfaction.

Location is good for the price paid. It is about a 25 minute walk to most of the major tourist attractions and 8 to 12 minutes to great restaurants. My only disappointment as a titanium member, is that free breakfast is not included, whereas it is at most Marriott chain hotels.

• DeFranLA (4/5): Bring Earplugs - This is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The walls are paper-thin. We might as well have been sharing the room with the people next door because we could hear everything. No rugs on the floors, so constant clomping of shoes. When doors would slam closed in the hallway, the room would seem to shake. The only redeeming qualities were the friendly staff and a decent breakfast buffet. This hotel is an embarrassment to the Marriott brand. Stay elsewhere.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is a bit off the tourist area, so you will want to take a cab, but it is a short 5 minute ride, <10 euros. Ditto for the train station. The restaurant was nice but the burger and sandwiches we had were not great, mainly because the bread was not fresh. Otherwise, great hotel.

He gave us an upgrade with a room with two beds and a welcome drink which we truly appreciated. Ana in the breakfast was very lovely as well she is very hard-working managing guests in the tables on a weekend breakfast! Kudos to her! She made sure that we were looked after. The hotel is within walking distance to some attractions and is very well located in the heart of Florence. Would highly recommend to stay here.

• WashDCReviews (6/5): Nice Hotel, but Staff Could be Friendlier - The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the main train station. It's about a seven minute walk to the Parco delle Cascine. The hotel occupies the city block by itself; it is not connected to other buildings. The room was quite small but well-appointed. The bathroom was quite stylish, with a clear sink. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with juices, fruits, eggs, and meat. I found the hotel staff a bit cold, however. Upon check in I was asked if I wanted to pre-pay for breakfast at a lower rate than I would pay if I just walked into the restaurant. Why would hotels treat guests like that? The check in staff was efficient, but I wouldn't describe then as welcoming. There are probably better options that are closer to city attractions, but this hotel had a good rate.

I found the staff trying satisfy but i think they knew the hotel was poorly managed and a serious lack of concern for the conditions. Cracks on the walls, paper thin walls can hear everything in the other rooms. Poor location, not near anything. food was ok but nothing to rave about. Room smelled bad. No Smart TV, No netflix, no youtube. no nothing..high price for a very very subpar Marriott hotel....Not an experience you want....Only thing good is you have a roof over your head but a tent can do that. I would 100% not recommend this hotel....there are plenty of other great hotels in Florence both big and small that will make your experience in Florence a pleasant one. BTW: the staff response on my previous review was poor as well...essentially saying i have ruined their hotel and reputation...Sadly he was mistaken as they have done that all on their own...Please do not stay at this hotel...go anywhere else.
