- Sarah (4/5): - The hotel shouldn't be a 3 star. The toilet flush button in our room was missing and we had to pull a lever in the wall. One of the shower doors had a full thickness crack in it, meaning that water leaked on to the floor. There was no toilet seat. The door to the room only stayed closed if it was locked. The receptionist who checked us in was abrupt. The hotel was noisy, with talking and footfall during the night, this was amplified because there were no carpets to soften the noise on the corridors. The cleaning staff were pleasant and efficient. The included breakfast, from the cafe next door, was simple and good (a hot drink and a croissant of bioche bun). The cafe staff were pleasant and efficient. We did find that this was a good place to explore the old town of Naples.

- FRANCIELE (2/5): Razoavel para 1 noite - Hotel razoável, bem próximo à estação de trem, os quartos precisam de mais atenção e talvez uma reforma. No quarto em que fiquei era sofá cama, mas viajei sozinha, então não foi um problema. O banheiro é simples, o chuveiro poderia ser melhor. Optei por ele por conta do valor e seria somente 1 noite. Se precisasse ficar mais noites, não ficaria nele.
- Sylvia (4/5): - Wir kamen gegen 17:00 Uhr am Hotel an. An der Rezeption wurde uns dann gesagt, dass unser gebuchtes Zimmer noch nicht fertig sei (Check in 14:00 Uhr!). Sofern wir nicht warten möchten, könne man uns nur ein anderes Zimmer anbieten. Wir waren sehr müde und willigten daher ein. Duschen war nur kalt möglich und das frühstücken im benachbarten Cafe war begleitet von unfreundlichem Service und unzureichender Auswahl. Auf Anfrage war nur alter Toast da usw.
- 933antom (2/5): Stop stop stop don’t go here. It’s disgusting. - To begin with this hotel is a disgrace and should be knocked down. The rooms are disgusting. They have bedbugs. The furniture in the room looks like the furniture you would pick up in an alley after someone threw it out. The blow dryer for your hair was all melted. The air conditioner is a joke. It’s a little box on the on the wall. there is no bedside lockers and everything. There is really old smelly and disgusting. It’s in a horrible area. Don’t believe the breakfast thing they send you next-door to get breakfast and a little tiny café and all you get is a small cup of coffee and a croissant that is it. It’s not a complemental breakfast. It’s a coffee and croissants stop stop stop stop stop don’t go to this place do yourself a favor and believe me I have tons of pictures to prove it.

- Roberto (4/5): - Struttura dall'ottimo potenziale anche per la posizione strategica ma tenuto molto male: porta scheggiata, doccia mal funzionante, prese di corrente 1 e scomoda, tapparella bloccata a metà, scarsa disponibilità del personale (non è stato possibile fare il check in mezz'ora prima)
- Pietro (6/5): - quartiere poco sicuro che paga così la comoda prossimità alla stazione centrale. Reception sorvegliata anche in tarda notte. Colazione al bar, con buffet di soli prodotti confezionati (biscotti, pane e marmellata) oltre ad una brioche a scelta dal bar. La stanza dotata di una finestra con affaccio interno, completamente buia. La camera è dotata di un frigo, bollitore e ferro da stiro. Manca una lampadina. Bagno curato ma non finestrato. Pulizia della camera effettuata tutti i giorni, ma dopo la quale è sparita la tenda della finestra che era comunque inutile vista l’assenza di luce naturale nella camera e la presenza della serranda.

Highly raccomended if you are looking for a clean place near the station. Regarding the critics: Staff: friendly and efficient. Breakfast sufficient for the Italian standard. Italians eat at lunchtime not on the morning!! - The place is very clean. - room is smple but nicely decorated. - air conditioning works fine. It is old but it works!!! - TV is an amazing 55 inches on the wall. - Shower excellent and strong - bathroom is large and modern. - cashsave included - tea kettle included - iron included - hairdryer provided - usb on the switches - internet in the room - elevator small but it works. - no noises in the room if you close the windows. - mattress is firm and new. - sheets are clean - large mirror - frigo bar included - …. And much more. I do not think you can find a better hotel with such a small price per night.

- Verified traveler (8/5): VFM hotel close to Napoli Centrale - For people looking for a private room close to Naples Central Station this hotel is the definition fir VFM. It is definitely worth its (low) price (+) Clean bedsheets and towels and clean bathroom, convenient location (though a little of bit shabby as the whole Napoli Centrale area), very good price, helpful atuff (-) The room is old, needs some painting and renovation( though this way the prices will become more expensive for sure) PS didnt try the breakfast due to very early check out
- mauro (8/5): Buona posizione per visitare Napoli - Con un'altra coppia di amici, abbiamo prenotato due camere matrimoniali per tre notti, visto il prezzo molto conveniente e la posizione strategica. Nei giorni a seguire guardando le recensioni molto negative (ambienti sporchi, mobili rotti, bagni fatiscenti ecc.) e avendo prenotato - non rimborsabile - molto preoccupati abbiamo deciso di andare ugualmente con l'opzione che se le recensioni erano veritiere, avremmo provveduto a cambiare albergo anche perdendoci i soldi già versati. Il chek in previsto per le ore 14.... siamo arrivati alle 12:45 circa, all'entrata l'hotel si è mostrato carino anche se alla reception molto fiscali, ci hanno consentito solo di lasciare i bagagli, così abbiamo proseguito la ns visita di Napoli, sempre con il pensiero di come fossero le camere. Ritornati alle 18 in hotel, ci vengono assegnate le camere e con piacevole sorpresa possiamo dire che le molteplici recensioni negative per fortuna non erano veritiere, camera pulita e in ordine, bagno pulito con tutto il kit di cortesia che cambiavano ogni giorno. Uniche note negative ma sopportabili, camere un po' rumorose vista la presenza di grande strada; colazione povera e senza prodotti della pasticceria napoletana, nei giorni a seguire andavamo fuori; mancanza del tappetino fuori dalla doccia.

Se ce ne fosse la possibilità non soggiornerei ancora qui. Terribile il servizio durante la colazione e davvero pochissima scelta.

- valeria (4/5): - Ho alloggiato in questo hotel per una notte. La struttura non prevede la convenzione con il parcheggio come invece avevo letto sul sito. Al momento del check-in mi era stato richiesto un prezzo doppio per la la tassa di soggiorno per un loro errore che ho subito fatto notare avendo l'email che confermava la giusta quota da pagare. La stanza aveva la porta scardinata come se avessero provato ad entrare e quindi non in piena sicurezza. Nella giornata successiva l'acqua calda era mancante per un guasto alla caldaia che ci avevano detto stavano riparando. Al check out ho chiesto Spiegazioni in merito al disservizio e la ragazza alla reception oltre a scusarsi non ha provveduto quantomeno a risolvere giustificandosi che il direttore non c'era. La colazione inclusa era davvero scadente ma adeguata al prezzo dell'hotel in una zona davvero poco sicura ( stazione) Mi aspettavo quantomeno uno sconto per l'imprevisto . Sicuramente non tornerò.

- monica (6/5): Close to a lot , basic, not for wheelchairs - This place needs to be listed as NOT wheelchair friendly.. staff helped lift my son up and down the 2 steps at entry but the lift that is listed in description is so tiny I would have to sit my son on a chair next to the lift… dismantle the wheelchair trashed it up stairs reassemble, go back down hold him standing up and walk him back into the chair…. No way to get into the showers as the toilet is right in front of the entry space …awkward even for me. The very basic breakfast is down 40 or more steps in the basement… so I had to bring it to the room on a tray… 10 mins walk to the station trying to navigate the pavers.. less time if your just walking. Close to lots of cafe ,restaurants… rather noisy at night. Bed comfortable but not the chunky pillows.

Ascensore da sistemare,corridoi camera degli di un ospedale psichiatrico. La camera lasciamo perdere,coperta macchiata,letto consumato o macchiato non ho voluto approfondire,muri pieni di macchie non identificate. Aperto porta e dopo neanche 5 minuti sceso per farmela cambiare. Purtroppo hotel al completo!!!! Mah... Il personale altra nota positiva rispetto a tutto si è proposto di ridarmi soldi tramite Expedia. Non era tanto ma almeno salverebbero la faccia. Consiglio ristrutturare subito avete potenzialità ma così è da American horror story

- Mikkel (4/5): - Utrolig lyt værelse hvor man kan høre alt på gangene. Morgenmaden bestod primært af kage. Beliggenheden er ret skummel, og der holder ofte suspekte typer til omkring hotellet. Lobbyen er pæn, men værelserne er meget slidte. Vores toilet løb uafbrudt og køleskabet på hotelværelset stod blottet på gulvet og afgav også meget støj. Derudover var der flere steder huller i væggene og generelt fremstod bygningen som under forfald. Rengøringen var der dog hver dag og gjorde et fint arbejde. Største minus er dog kvarteret som er meget utrygt. En anden gang ville vi vælge noget i et pænere kvarter, hvor man ikke er utryg om aftenen.

El desayuno pobrísimo. En fin estuvimos a punto de marcharnos el primer día , no me extraña que lo cobren por anticipado y sin derecho a devolución.
- Ruth (2/5): Grim - Tjelobby is great and it looks inviting. Cannot comment anything about the breakfast because we never availed of it -personal choice. The room was clean in respect of the bed and sheets and the bathroom was daily cleaned also however the shower wall was very dirty (see pictures) and the walls of the room were also cover in dirt marks and there were holes over the bed headrest. The hair dryer did not work. There was no bulb in one of the night tables wall lamps. Dust and cigarrete burnt furniture, very ran down. We were given a room facing the interior patio so it was dark and every night there was a whirring sound, maybe from other aircons fans or from the kitchens. Then comong 6:30-7am the cleaners would start shouting, or talking loudly over their phones and xallong each other. I appreciate they want to do their work quicky and thismight be their strategy for waking up people but we are in holidays and would like to sleep in a little bit if needed after visitimg places and walking around all day. The pros: aircon was good, shower with good water pressure, and the area is super con enient being so close to the metro and train starion ans the bus stop to the airport. Do not be fooled by the surroundings, totally safe place. But this establishment is not a 3 star. One max

- bhavesh (4/5): well make this choice as backup - i was solo Traveller. location is not far from main train station. but the area the hotel is in is not good, very noisy and very dirty. hotel its self is 2 star. bathroom outdated (not in good way) dirty (i had to buy spray to sterilize the bathroom😰). --there's no safe in the room -- bed was clean enough but not comfortable --- breakfast offer was only very very basic ie tea and pastry --- if you arrive late or leaving the hotel early ie 4am you will have difficulties opening the door as only staff can open it and they were asleep. but i have to say staff were very helpful this hotel can be beautiful and good place to stay if they modernize the interior and put sound proof windows and doors
- 211frederikm (2/5): Nope! - Me and 2 of my friends stayed for 3 nights at this “3 star hotel”, being on a pretty tight interrail-budget we chose this hotel cause of the price and it’s seemingly good placement in the city, but… the street on which the hotel is placed reeks of piss and weed and about a dozen homeless wander around the block at all times, making going out at night a bit uncomfortable. The lobby is the hotels main selling point being very pretty and clean, the rest is NOT. Our room was dirty, the bedding had spots of I don’t wanna know what and the bathroom was an experience in itself… First of all the toilet was broken when we got our room, which we told the very unfriendly receptionist. Probs to him though, cause it eventually got fixed the next day, sort of, only one of the buttons actually did something and there was a constant stream of water running making quite a bit of sound. The next thing about the bathroom was the mold in and around the shower (of which the handle holder for the shower-head didn’t exist) Next thing was the cleaning personnel who didn’t speak a word of English (couldn’t even understand the word “toilet paper”) who insisted on smoking in the hallway making the whole room and all of our stuff reek of cigarette smoke. The “included breakfast” was just some bland and dry bread and a croissant with some cake stuffing inside (no coffee cause the machine was “broken”)… we only ate there the one time (found a much better place down the street serving breakfast instead)

- Cindy (4/5): - Volets cassés, porte de douche cassé, logement insalubre ( trou dans le mur , rouille et moisissures) pas propre (poil dans la sdb) . Le quartier est dangereux et mal fréquenté le soir. Nous avons fait remonté que le volet etait cassé, on devait venir le reparer, nous attendons toujours murs tres fins hotel bruyant. Le petit déjeuné ne propose pas de salé, peu de choix. L hotel est cependant bien placé pour tout faire à pied . Nous ne l'avons pas payé cher, cela ne méritait pas plus.

- radhikaminhas (2/5): Do NOT Consider This Hotel - To begin with, the person at the reception was a RUDE, aggressive woman. Her attitude was that she was doing us a favour by letting us stay in the hotel. She mans the breakfast counter too..Be prepared to encounter her BAD attitude there too. Breakfast is just some breads, cereals and beverages. No fruit or eggs or cold cuts. Linen is reasonably clean and towels are changed everyday. It could be a good hotel if the management was positive and welcoming of tourists. Would not recommend at all.
- R6926YA_ (8/5): Certainly doesn’t deserve it’s reputation, but maybe a few downsides. - I’m not the type of traveller who usually goes for hotels, (outside of the pandemic I’m usually one for hostels), so perhaps this is why I disagree so strongly with the negative reviews here. The hotel isn’t in the best location, no, but outside of really late night (and I mean after 1am), it’s in a busy enough area that I didn’t have to worry, perhaps this would be different if you were a woman travelling alone, but it wasn’t a big problem for me. I would advise, as in all cities in the world, to try not to look like an obvious tourist and refrain from looking at google maps obviously on the street, but petty crime is just as much of a problem in other parts of the city and in my opinion much of the bad reputation surrounding this area comes from its high prevalence of ethnic minority Italians which is more based in racism than reality. My room had an interior view, which wasn’t great, and yes there were marks in the bathroom which had clearly been there some time. Despite all of this though, the hotel offers air con, a comfortable bed, and is very close to the train station which gives great access to Pompeii and Herculaneum. More than anything I was touched by just how kind the staff were, one girl in particular, Katia, was so incredibly kind and spoke amazing English, and she gave great tips about the area. In particular her advice was very useful, and it was lovely to have a friendly face in the city while travelling. Cleaning service was offered daily and plenty of towels were provided. I do see why people disagree with the three star rating, but for the price the hotel is more than sufficient and offers a good standard of accommodation.
- NoelyB12 (6/5): Nice hotel but outdated - We stayed at this hotel from 6th to 9th October 2019. The hotel reception was very clean & spotless. Got a front view large bedroom with clean towels daily. Lift too small & only cater for 2 people. Canteen down the lobby & no lift only steps. Not suitable for mobility & people with disability. Breakfast is poor only croissants, tea/coffee/ cereals. No hot food. No fruits. Location is good only 10/15mins walk to Napoli Train Central & underground trains. Napoli is dirty & old BUT I love the graffiti everywhere including trains. Will go back again
- penguincube89 (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - This should be a 1 star hotel, 2 at the most, it may look nice from the outside and the lobby but the room was a state. There were holes in the walls, the shutter on the window was stuck half open, the electrical outlets were hanging off the walls, it was very noisy, this place is in dire need of renovation
- Ash (6/5): - You get what you pay for. It said it was a 3 star but I have stayed at places that are 2 starts which where a lot nicer. The area at night is scary so we came back to the hotel ever night at around 7-8. The rooms are dirty and no maintenance in years. I didn’t sleep well with the noise and was scared most nights.

If you fancy walking its less than 1km from The Duomo and Via Dei Tribunali, if you prefer Metro ETC its half km to Naples main transport hub to anywhere in Naples or Italy. The Hotel has excellent 24 hour staff, I had decent room with decent bed and decent bathroom and breakfast was excellent.

- Mina (2/5): Very Disappointing - I made a reservation for 4 nights at Hotel La Pace in Naples two months in advance. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was given a room for handicapped with high toilet, and no bidet, no fridge, no mini bar, etc... Since it didn't correspond to the description of the room I had initially reserved with Orbitz I requested a normal room. I was told they had no other room although some other customers checked in after me. I had also seen empty rooms being cleaned on my way to my room after checking in. The man at the desk told me that he’d have to ask his ‘master’ [the word he used] for the change of rooms. Eventually, he said either I’d keep the room or leave. The ‘master’ showed up. He spoke Italian only; he was was loud and his demeanor felt disrespectful and intimidating and we felt unsafe. I asked if they’d cancel my reservation if I chose to leave and he confirmed it and assured me that he’d cancel my reservation. So I opted for the cancelation and left the hotel La Pace looking for another hotel. A week later I called Orbitz to make sure that my reservation was indeed canceled and the full refund has been processed. The hotel staff has been delaying speaking with Orbitz people. I am still waiting for the issue to be resolved. I hope I have not being scammed and that I'll get my money back.

- geoff (8/5): - Staff were helpful. The public access computer not working. Would print our boarding passes if we emailed them to the hotel. Breakfast was ok but sometimes you had to ask for things. The room was large, the tv screen was small but we could still see it clearly. Our room was on the first floor and at the front of the hotel so traffic noise was ever present but didn't wake us. It is a few minutes walk from the historic centre, there is a spar shop 2 minutes from the hotel, CONAD and MD supermarkets a few minutes more. Places to eat around the hotel but people would probably prefer to eat elsewhere Hotel a short walk from the Alifbus stop on Piazza Garibaldi and the rail station and circumvesuvia station , you do get the bus back to the airport from the sames point that you arrive, just check the destination.

- Hector (10/5): A real bargain. - The front desk guy "Luiggi" was great for all of our questions. He's sort of a concierge, the guy will even be a taxi driver for a few euros. Parking was pretty much next to the hotel and relatively cheap. The hotel is being renovated but even so, it's in good condition considering the price. Real bargain!

- Peter (2/5): Close to Central Station - Location not in a good part of town, very nosiey, fireworks each night. Didn't feel safe walking around. We were harassed by the locals to buy or asking for money. Breakfast was barely there & person in charge was rude. One morning no bread or croissants, only cereal & melba toastie type bread. No fruit. Only allowed one of what was available. Thought that Continental breakfast included cold meat & cheese. But not here. Not happy at all. Staff did not speak much English & didn't help much with information. Room had no fridge, no safe, no plug for basin. Shower leaked in the hose.

My room had a bed for me to sleep in and a shower to use so there is not much to complain about if you understand that it is not a fancy hotel.

- David (2/5): Bed Bugs - I can confirm that this hotel as previously stated by other guests has an infestation of bed bugs. I discovered them the morning I left the hotel in my bed, on my pillow and crawling on the walls of the bedroom and bathroom. I squashed one of them and my blood came squirting out. The management obviously don't care about there guests as they have not rectified this previously reported problem! Avoid this place and book somewhere else.
- Moneim (6/5): Not bad - 1-Location is perfect in down town and near to buses,train station,subway. 2-The room is clean. 3-Employees are helpful & friendly especially the girl in the morning shift at reception. 4-WIFI doesn't work at my room number 8 at fourth floor. 5-The first problem was the shower , the water goes from hot or warm to cold in seconds but during October was not big problem so if you think to travel during winter you have to check once you arrive your room. 6-No A/C in the room but just a fan. 7-At the end of my stay , they asked me to pay 2 EURO/night as city tax and this was my first time in my life to pay something called CITY TAX. FINALLY , when you pay this amount don't expect too much but at least it's nice.
