Well kept property, clean and furnished rooms, comfortable bed, large shower, all appliances worked aa intended, safe location, across the street from the Gare Du Nord train station, and friendly staff (shoutout to Baid for an enjoyable experience). Will definitely be back when travelling to Paris in the future.

- Scott (8/5): - Easy, quick check in, top floor room, bottle of wine in the room for us, big windows to balcony, 3 mins walk to Gare du Nord, less than 10 mins walk from Gare du Est, bed was ok, had comfier but it’s not too bad. There was also breakfast, which we didn’t have (18 euros), coffee, wine, etc available which you just filled out what you took and charge to room. Overall, would use again for a night or 2.
- Kristina (2/5): - On arrival late in the evening, we were told that someone else had been checked into our room. It turned out that someone from a completely different hotel managed to get into our room and check-in with a passport and a completely different name. This made us feel very unsafe since obviously the staff were not diligent with proper checks. We were told they’d need to ask those guests to leave the room and we could then go in. We were not offered any kind of compensation or a clean room due to their error. Once we entered the room, we were very disappointed. The TV did not work, the bed was a wall bed so not a proper one at all, and very small. Our room was directly next to the kitchen on the very ground floor of the hotel (less than 10m from reception) and was directly by the street. We were woken up at 5am while the kitchen staff were getting breakfast ready. Although we were apologised to, there was no attempt to make our stay more comfortable given our terrible experience nor give us a discount or refund. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and definitely do not understand the 4* they have.

The location one block from Gare du Nord was so convenient, with no noise coming in at all. The neighborhood is not great, but not dangerous and with the metro right there, it's easy to get to other parts of town. Breakfast was good, reasonable and convenient. We were able to hop on the RER to the airport without having to deal with traffic.

We really loved using the hammam after a long day of exploring - don't miss out on this great amenity! If you are using the Eurostar you can't beat the location for convenience.

We'd read some reviews that mention the area itself being a bit sketchy, but it didn't put us off - and I'm pleased it didn't because our stay was excellent! We arrived at Gare Du Nord and found the hotel immediately. There were some questionable characters around the area, but once you step inside, the street outside ceases to exist. The
- Timothy (8/5): - Friendly and pleasant hotel. I stayed for 1 night, arriving on the Eurostar, and taking an onward train from Gare du Nord the following morning. For this, the hotel is ideally situated - 2 minutes walk from the front of Gare du Nord. The surrounding area is not the most inspiring - but as a functional place to stay it was just what I needed. The room was a bit small (but this is Paris, so it’s normal). The bathroom was modern and clean, and the bed comfy. For solo travel and a layover before taking the train the next morning, this was ideal.

Room was too warm and air con was disabled. Street was loud and smelly so opening windows not an option. Otherwise fine - shower was great.

- Steve (10/5): - We stayed at the Hotel Whistler for two nights in Paris after a ski vacation in the Alps. We wanted easy access to the RER train to Charles de Gaulle airport back to the States. The hotel was a gem. It is designed like the old "overnight sleeper car trains" of the 1940s and '50s which may sound corny, but its not. It shows the elegance of travel during this time period and its extremely well-thought out, and elegantly done. And the balcony in our room looked right at the Gare du Nord. The rooms actually feel like you are on a 1st class sleeper car, but larger and better than a train. The bed is way comfortable and the bathroom is 5 star. (the sink in particular is awsome). There is a 24/7 espresso machine you can use and an honor bar for spirits and wine. Every staff member we encountered, from check in to housecleaning, were friendly and seemed to like working there. One of the other real benefits is that it is located around the corner from Terminus Nord, maybe one of the best bistros in Paris. Great food, great atmosphere. I'd stay here again in a flash.

Took early train from London to Paris for a full day trip. Hotel let us store our luggage all day. Went out sightseeing & returned to hotel to check-in at 10 PM, slept, woke up boarded an early morning train back to London. Had a balcony room, but it is not a balcony you can sit on, more of an extended window ledge.

Your first impression is wow so cute, which speaks out. The recitation gentleman, Charles, received us with a very warm and kind, fun welcome and he has been very kind and nice - 7 stars to this nice and convenient location surrounded by everything. - David (8/5): - Great stay for a single overnight before an early morning train at Gare du Nord. We stayed in a balcony room, which gave nice views up and down the street and let in plenty of light. Double windows really helped to soundproof the room and keep it at a comfortable temperature with the AC on. The location isn't in the best part of Paris, so I wouldn't choose to stay here for a holiday, but for an overnight adjacent to the train station it is perfect.

- Alasdair Mark (10/5): - Boutique small hotel close to Gard du Nord. Decorated in 'age of steam' theme. We were able to leave our bags on arrival by Eurostar, enjoy the day in Paris and they were in our room that evening. Hotel offers breakfast and a small bar (which we didn't use). Bedroom was a reasonable size, lovely bed, quiet aircon. Quadruple glazing ment little noise from the street. Bathroom was new, clean with excellent shower and big fluffy towels on a heated rail. Reception staff were excellent throughout. By day the area around Gare du Nord is bustling with plenty of fast food, cafes and small supermarkets. By night it attracts migrants, homeless, drunks etc. We either bought a picnic (nb shops around Gare du Nord cannot sell alcohol after 5pm) or ate in the centre and then walked quickly from the Metro to the hotel (only 200 metres). You need to be careful of pickpockets etc on the metro (as per any big city). The Station in the evening is best described as edgy but there is plenty of police presence - wouldn't put us off staying again but you need to be aware.

I was only in Paris for the night, and I couldn't have made a better choice. The surrounding area is what you'd expect around a major train station, but I felt very safe - and we walked everywhere...from Monmarte (just 20 min away) to multiple delicious boulangeries. This was a smart choice for us - and I would absolutely stay here again if I'm just passing through Paris
- Sharon (8/5): - So convenient to train station and metro. Breakfast was very good. The room could do with better lighting. Quite dark.

- Mariana (10/5): - Great location, close to shopping, dining and commuter train. Would book again.

- Dawn (10/5): - Great hotel for exploring Paris and DisneyParis. Conveniently located to Metro, RER and Eurostar. Friendly and helpful staff.
- Ian (6/5): - I’ve stayed at this property 5 times, always one night and when I have an early flight the next morning since it’s easy to take the train. It’s a nice place with good restaurants near by. Only complaints was only overhead shower worked not the spray part which I need. And the room had something in it which set off me and my fiance allergies. This has not happened before at any of our other stays but we also never complained so they may have changed our room. I would stay again but at the price point may look elsewhere for the one night. But as I said 5 times so they are doing something right.
- Philip (10/5): Ideal for station, clean tidy condition - I’ve stayed in many hotels around this area, this is one of the better ones, clean and tidy, good night sleep and the night staff friendly, put the breakfast out early as I was down getting a drink.
- Aqib (8/5): - Excellent bathroom and shower! Ideal location for quick access on metro/train to all areas of Paris. Bedroom was clean and of decent size. Would stay again if we return to paris
- Valerie (10/5): - We showed up an hour early and were able to check in, I barely speak French and the staff spoken English very well. Our room was exactly as described and perfect for our needs. It could use a few more hooks for towels, robes, or other items. The breakfast was also exactly as described and met our needs. The steam room was perfect after days of walking and helped our aching muscles. The location was an excellent perk as we used the metro every day. Overall, this adorable little hotel was exactly what we needed and they took excellent care of us!
