There kitchen team is also very nice and helpful treat you so well good food choices specially fresh honey and omlette counter. Ever there support staff Ereshgul was no nice and helpful cleaned our room everyday during our stay. Friendly, full of great local knowledge and more than willing to assist guests with anything. The location is also great - across the street from the strait for morning of evening walks and easy walking distance to the main historic tourist sites and restaurants. Our room was always very clean and well supplied and a nice touch of a fresh fruit and nut platter was appreciated. Loved the large rain shower! View of the Blue Mosque from our window.

Valkyr_AJ (10/5): The best place to stay in Istanbul - Dear Raddison Sultanahmet. You have one person who made our first Turkish holiday stay the most memorable. His name is Kalandar. He's a gem that makes your lovely hotel stand out. Rest assured I am coming here again because of his Turkish hospitality. I messed up my bookings due to my fault, I had to book 17 to 19 July but mistakenly booked 17 to 19 August. I was coming with family from JFK and after such a long flight with kids, I was dumbstruck by my mistake. Kalanadar made us all feel at home and welcomed & arranged rooms for us. He went above and beyond making my wife and kids comfortable and at the same time attended to my booking. After checking us in he also guided us so nicely of what all to do in Sultamahmet and other lovely attractions in Turkiye like Cappadocia etc which I couldn't do due to paucity of time. But I am coming again to Turkiye to see all the lovely touristic places because of his guidance and hospitable nature. I am a Hilton guy, but Raddison has found a new loyal member in me because of Kalanadar. I have been in Hilton, Marriott, Wyndham and Hyatt chains, but haven't seen such a seasoned customer dealing offered by him. I foresee Kalanadar rising in the future to the highest ranks. His english was fluent and immaculate, which made my conversation with him interesting and easy & his turnout was smart and handsome. I wish Raddison Sultanahmet and Kalandar all the best for the future. My colleagues who are planning a visit to Istanbul will stay at Raddison Sultanahmet. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—from the front desk team ( Kalendar and Murad) to housekeeping, and especially the restaurant staff. We were a group of ten and spent five nights at the hotel, and throughout our stay, we were treated with the utmost care and professionalism. Whenever we needed transportation, the staff kindly assisted us without hesitation. Everyone we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. The restaurant offered a great variety of delicious, high-quality food, which we enjoyed every day. The rooms offered a breathtaking view of the Sea of Marmara, and the sea breeze made our experience even more special. I would rate this hotel well above a 10 if I could. 233anamariab (10/5): Great location and amzing views - The hotel is in front of the Marmara Sea, an amazing view you can enjoy from some of the rooms or from the Marmara Cafe. The rooms are cozy and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The relevant attractions in Sultanahmet are walking distance (blue mosque included), saving you from having to stay in the loud area but close enought to visit it everyday. The internet connection was great (key for those travelling for business).

His hospitality was phenomenal and i will definitely be staying at this location again!

Our room whilst being standard had just enough space for the 2 of us with a fridge,tea/coffee making facilities,hair dryer,iron and board and the most fantastic shower with all the toiletries you would need. Breakfast was from 6-10:30 with lots to choose from with a lovely view of the Bosphorus from the dinning room. All the staff were really helpful and pleasant with a special mention to Murat who was a real font of knowledge and was always on hand to offer impartial advice on where to go. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and hope to return again in the future.

Overall, this hotel offers the perfect combination of comfort, reasonable price and above all great location. Whether you're looking to relax by walking by the beautiful beaches of the Marmara sea or explore the nearby sights including the centre of Istanbul, or visit Hagia Sophia or the Blue Mosque and or the grand Bazaar this hotels located in a walking distance to everything great in Istanbul. I can't recommend this hotel enough to anyone who wants to visit Istanbul. The location alone is worth the visit . The amazing breakfast buffet, great staff and the oceanview make this hotel an ideal place to stay in Istanbul. The hotel is perfectly situated right next to Marmara sea and I enjoyed stunning sea view from my room and the easy walks along the shore every night , although you need wear properly for the weather, especially in winter. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, I particularly like to mention Murrad on the checking desk who go out of his way to make our stay not only amazing but memorable. The room we stayed on was beautifully decorated, with modern amenities that made our stay so comfortable. The restaurant had great range of dining options with a great variety of drinks ranging from wines to coctails that can be enjoyed while overlooking the Marmara sea. We received grea service from the moment we arrived at this hotel until the moment we left. The prime location of the hotel is a big bonus and if I ever return to Istanbul, I will never hesitate to stay in this hotel again.

Stayed for 6 nights in mid December. 10-15 mins max. relax walking to Blue mosque, Hagia Sofia and Top Kapi. Local laundry available 2 mins walking behind the hotel. Hotel's restaurant food quality is excellent, and also reasonable price. (Better than outside restaurants "tourist trap"). They even surprised my son with pancakes...lovely! 7-10 mins walk to open public children park at the marmara sea front. 10-15 mins walk to indonesian restaurant, plenty of local restaurants, and souvenir shops. Hotel staff including Ridvan, Kalandar, Arslan, Murat, and the rest were very welcoming and they were supportive to give recommendations to make our trip more joyful and efficient including arranging trips to attractions, markets, restaurants at reasonable price. Plus they were all friendly with kids. Rooms a bit cramped with kids, but it is comfortable. With a magnificent view of the marmara sea front. Could be my annual winter vacation stay for the next few years. ATM is 3 mins walking. Located in safe and quite area. Note: there were no street food vendors or supermarket around the hotel.

The front desk person Murat was not at all helpful and was hard selling cash payment for the taxi service hired through the hotel. When asked about a room upgrade or the promised VIP access amenities he said "it doesn't matter, we are a busy hotel". The only things enjoyed at this hotel were the restaurant on site and the front desk person Kalander, who was very warm and professional when we checked out.
Gareth (10/5): Nice staff, small hotel - Nice staff, easy up hill walk to mosque areas and onto crazy shopping etc. Lots of food places on hill up. Hotel on waterfront, so nice quiet walk along boulevard if you like. Small hotel, but unlike other reports my room was not small (rear)
Sonia (10/5): - When we first arrived we were received by Murat. He was very friendly and explained everything clearly. Our room had a perfect view to the sea. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was delicious. All of the staff members greeted us and treated us like if we were home. Our 5 nights at this hotel were just excellent. We will be back.
Janet Elizabeth (10/5): - Lovely hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful especially Murat in reception who went above and beyond and always smiling. Rooms were a little small but perfectly adequate. Nice comfortable bed and had everything you needed. The only criticism i have is that the tea and coffee was not topped up. You had to ask at reception. Breakfast was nice and enough choice although not cheap for 20 euros. Would definitely stay there again

siobhan (8/5): - Staff very pleasant and helpful. However we had to Ask every day for the Nescafé to be replaced in our room as it wasn’t and even after asking we didn’t receive it on one day. Also the breakfast was pretty meager considering the price and breakfasts we had in other hotels in Istanbul.
Svetlana (8/5): - The property is very small compared to other Radisson hotels. There is no elevator, nobody is there to help you with your luggage once you get to the hotel, there is no pool. Rooms are tiny. The biggest plus is location, of course. It's walkable to all old town sightseeings: Blue mosque, Aya Sofia, grand bazar, etc. And it's right by the water.

Tomalene (10/5): - I absolutely loved staying here; perhaps one of my most favourable experiences, ever. We had a taxi issue and they went to bat for us, getting our money back. I had a birthday and received a thoughtful card and beautiful Turkish desserts. There are even dolphins in front of the hotel… everything was on point. Stay here, you will have an excellent experience!

Pick and choose because food is variable. Hotel arranges transport to/from IST. Staff very helpful. Clean. Beware: rooms are TINY! But big enough.

He helped us countless times with Taxi drivers and finding a destination to visit. The rooms are extremely clean, and my 1 year old baby was extremely happy with the room and the staff. The location is really nice and safe with very pleasant view. Would definitely go back to them whenever I visit Istanbul again!

Chetan (10/5): Best Stay..In Istanbul - We loved our stay. High floor seas facing room with Balcony offering amazing views of Sea of Marmara. NIce and Cosy overally. Restaurant and Cafe for breakfast with outdoor seating is relaxed and offer good views. Overall has a nice resort kind off 'holiday vibe to the place. P.S. No Elevators.

Amit (10/5): - The staff were very helpful especially after Turkish Airlines misplaced our luggage and which they couldn’t deliver after multiple days. The staff helped us by enquiring the airlines many times. And, kept the luggage even after we moved to different pre-booked hotel. The breakfast was really good. The breakfast staff and the chef were all trying their best lingual skill to help us enjoy the breakfast. I had pre-booked a separate 5 star hotel in Besiktas for remaining days in our trip to live near Taksim Square. I wish I had just stayed at small but cozy place like this Radission hotel.

MORAKINYO (10/5): A Memorable Stay - My stay at the Radisson hotel Sultanahmet was awesome. It’s well located with an awesome view of the Bhosphorous and a lot of space to walk and jog in the neighbourhood. The staff was really great and the General ManagerMr Selami Taskin was really very welcoming and hospitable. The food is also very good and the hotel is extremely clean and neat. I will definitely be back there.
Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was small but the view was awesome, the price was a bit high without breakfast, the hotel didn't have elevator but staff would help with luggages. The distance with attractions was fine, overall impression was nice

And also Selim Bey from the front desk is very friendly and very helpful to assist us. We get an upgrade when we come back for the second times.
