Établissement très bruyant, beaucoup de bruit des les couloirs, les autres usagers parlaient très fort, beaucoup de va et vient dans les couloirs, les portes claquaient, bruits sourds au niveau des murs de la chambre contiguë. petit déjeuner correcte mais très bruyant, ce qui est très décevant. Impossible de se reposer convenablement. L'hôtesse d'accueil du soir n'était pas très agréable.

• Souvik (3/5): Not very friendly and comfortable stay. - Location Poor internet connection, poor space for 4 persons. They transform a 2 person room to a 4 person one by inserting two spring beds. No cupboards as the only cupboard is blocked by beds. the adjacent room 's sound easily penetrate to the other room.

Ihatatlan volt :-) A személyzet kedvessége, segítőkészsége, és a hotel elhelyezkedése maximális pontot ér. Városnézésünk közben a takarító személyzet (szobalány) meglepő rendet csinált az általunk hagyott káoszból, Ő külön dícséretet érdemel <3 Az ágyakban a matrac túl puha, nehéz kimászni belőle. A 40+ korosztálynak keményebb ágy kell. A zuhanyzó szűkös, az elhízott emberek (mint én), nagyobbat igényelnek :-)

• Monica (7/5): - The room was clean and houeskeeping was excellent. Receptionist were customer friendly. Breakfast - The hot buffet was served cold - they kept the lid of the shaver open. I asked for hot eggs but they still brought cold items from the kitchen. They do not cater for dietary requirements, eg; lactose free even though they were previously informed.

• Lukas13110 (8/5): Un punto di riferimento se dovessi tornare. - Posizione buona, ottima partenza per visitare l'acropoli che dista mezz'oretta a piedi ma il percorso è gradevole. La nostra camera era al quinto piano e godeva anche di un pezzo di panorama sull'acropoli. Letto comodo, bagno altrettando comodo anch se un po' piccolino, pulizia ottima. Nel complesso è un hotel nel quale ci tornerei con piacere. Ho viaggiato in moto e lì vicino ci sono parcheggi a pagamento (8 euro al giorno) per poter lasciare tranquillamente la moto. Non ho trovato nulla di particolarmente migliorabile, didiamo che nel complesso è un hotel che ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo va benissimo.

At 4 a.m., I discovered bed bugs in my room and immediately went to the front desk. The overnight staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unbothered. I was told there were no other rooms available and that nothing could be done — no apology, no concern, and no help offered. Later that morning at 9 a.m., I spoke with another employee who first insisted that bed bugs were “impossible.” When I showed him clear photos, he instantly admitted, “Yeah, we have bed bugs,” as if it was no big deal. There was no urgency, no accountability, and zero professionalism. This property is clearly failing basic sanitation and customer service standards. The staff’s attitude was as disturbing as the infestation itself. If you value cleanliness, safety, and respect, do not stay here. • Tour57248101429 (2/5): Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs - I wouldn’t recommend Achillion Hotel in Athens to my worst enemy. This place ruined our entire holiday and left us with memories we’d rather forget. First and most horrifying: we found bedbugs in our room, and they bit my mother so severely, she couldn’t sleep for nights and had allergic reactions. We reported it immediately, and the receptionist said that those bites looks like the mosquito bites. Well, it turned out really fast that this wasn’t mosquito bites. This alone should be enough to make you think twice, but sadly, that was just the beginning. The entire hotel reeks of stale cigarette smoke, even in non-smoking areas. It felt like nothing had been properly cleaned or maintained in years. The mattress was stained with urine or other questionable substances, clearly never cleaned or replaced. The location is terrible – it’s in one of the worst and most unsafe districts in Athens. Just a few steps from the entrance and you’re surrounded by homeless people and drug users loitering on the sidewalks. We felt genuinely unsafe, especially at night, and would never have stayed there had we known what the area was really like. To make matters worse, on our second night at 2 AM, the fridge a fridge in the room of one of our tour participants literally exploded due to how ancient and poorly maintained it was. You could smell freon or some kind of gas two floors below. It was terrifying and could’ve ended far worse. The only slightly acceptable part was the food, but even that couldn’t make up for the horror of the rest of our stay. Do yourself a favor – spend a little more and stay somewhere safer, cleaner, and actually deserving of being called a hotel.

The shower was very small, snd kept changing from cold to hot and vice versa every time one of the other rooms used water. It's very noisy each time someone passes the hallway.

• Emanuel (8/5): My general experience during my 4 days stay - positive. - The room was o.k. Breakfast (buffet) was good. The location is not far from Omonia - on foot. The room has a terrace but no chairs/table there. Just 1 chair in the room. The street is very loud because of heave traffic.

• IL1981 (4/5): Not the best place to stay - We were there twice during our trip. First I had a room on the 5th floor. Second time my room was on the 2nd floor. It was a totally different experience. The last room was renovated. The one on the 5th floor was still old, not looking good, bad bathroom. But for both the airconditioning wasn’t working well (loud) and also the hotel is located in a very loud neighbourhood (traffic) and a lot of drugs and homeless people. But most say that the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall not the place I would recommend to stay when you’re in Athena
