• Marideth (8/5): - Had a hiccup on our check in. Im techie but i still had issues. They should put on the website theres no reception area. Everything is done via their kiosk which wasnt connecting when we were there. You need to have internet on your phone/tablet and WhatsApp app. It takes awhile to get an agent on whatsapp... and the process should be laid out like we are not techie! The room made up for the hassle... it was modern, spacious, clean and theres a nice size fridge, coffee pods, water e-kettle. The location is great!

• Hung (8/5): - The location of the hotel is excellent for shopping and transportation. Fifteen minutes walking from the train station; the taxi refuses to take you to the hotel because it is too close. However, you have to prepare pulling your luggages on an uneven sidewalk.

• James (10/5): - We had a fantastic stay here after being nervous by recent reviews. We followed the instructions sent to us before and check in wasn’t a problem. We asked a couple of questions to the Adrez team through WhatsApp and they answered within minutes with an answer. The hotel and room were spacious, clean and welcoming. Our air con worked perfectly (which was much needed for a hot week!) and the room had everything we needed. It really was the perfect place in the city with everything within a 30 minute walk. Thanks for helping us have the best trip to Prague!

• Öner Deniz (8/5): - This ia full electronic hotel. It has equipped with the latest tech possible. I've stayed in a addict room with electronic curtains and no reception. Before you enter the property, they provide a code for you to enter building and room itself. This is available until your check-out. You do not see any person to do your things. What happened to me is when i was checking-out, i've provided wrong room number. They extended my check-out to the wrong room number. This particular incident is all my fault. Then i couldn't able to enter my room and helpline rapidly supported me with a new code. Thus the customer service is excellent. I'd like to thank them one more time. About the hygiene, i'm afraid the towels and bed sheets were full of hair. There were some yellow stains at the towels. But, overall the room was clean on the floor and other surfaces. Also when i enter at the first day, someone left a bag of chips at the wardrobe. Other than that, you can leave your luggage without a fee. Staff was easy to reach and friendly.
• Jenney (10/5): - Our stay kind of started out with minor issues but was fixed immediately the next morning. We were on the top floor (attic room) which was fine, bed was comfortable, room was spacious and the hotel does offer a lift! Room was relatively clean however since it’s carpet it should be vacuumed regularly when housecleaned. Location was excellent and walking distance to the train station, old and new town. Lovely experience overall and will definitely recommend it. Hotel also offers continental breakfast for 15€ which we did not try but the restaurant we did.

• Karen (10/5): - This hotel was amazing. It's a few blocks from the Statue of Wenceslaus - where so many tour groups meet and a lot of restaurants. Our room was the top floor with dormer windows. Clean, quiet, super comfy bed.
• yiling (6/5): - The hotel appears managed remotely . staff-less check-in would be a bit frustrated if you don’t search your junk email to get the instruction from the hotel. The only staff available was a security person who was inpatient & unfriendly. a fire alarm went off at one night & guests were evacuated for short time. no words from the hotel about what was going on . A quiet experience .

I received room under the roof. Even when it was April, it was terribly hot there. Dont take attic rooms if u can choose.
• kimnK2703GB (10/5): Comfortable and convenient - This hotel is conveniently located to the train station - it literally takes no more than 10 minutes from the hotel to the platform of the station. Walking distance to all the places we wanted to visit and it was totally safe walking in the evening. The breakfast was good with a lot of variety. I would definitely return to this hotel the next time I come to Prague!

• Ricardo (8/5): - Location was good, but this is more like the apt rent place. There is no one at the location for you to so the check in and you need to get all your documents uploaded and forms completed in order to get into the lobby. Never received an email until I was outside the building
• Larry (10/5): - The room we stayed in was very nice and unique as it had openable skylights which we were able to leave open all night. Check-in was a little harder because there is no physical desk to checkin or checkout which we are used to when traveling. Overall it was a great experience because the hotel was near the train station and walkable to all the sites we wanted to visit.
• Jamie (6/5): - Destination was brilliant, hotel was decent but the registration process for access to check in code was beyond frustrating and a major hassle even apon the online process it had complete i was only made aware this was not the case 1 day before the trip there is no way to directly contact anyone from the hotel and is fully unmanned this caused a real problem tryin to sort the problem and after about 4-5hours the code was eventually sent, hotel itself is nice rooms are adequate with comfy furnishings, can be quite loud was woken a few times from people out in the landing Cleanliness could have been better overall would give a soild 3/5, restaurant ajoing hotel is nice for food and drink and quite cheap for the quality but they made it quite clear they did not like people from the hotel using the restaurants to eat and drink, we starter most our nights here and felt unwelcome on most occasions for whatever reasons but general service was ok and foor was brilliant, rest of the city is good just have to watch for tourist traps such as high charging pubs

• grimbo18 (8/5): Internet reception doesn’t work - Lovely rooms shame I didn’t get my confirmation before I got to hotel as no one spoke English and there wasn’t a number to call, thanks to another English couple who had a phone number I eventually got a code so we could get into the room, once sorted the rooms are very large, clean and spacious and would recommend just make sure u have confirmation 24hrs before arrival
• Codruta (6/5): - The room itself is clean and nicely furnished, with all necessary amenities. The building is centrally located with easy walkable access to Museum and Mustek subway stations, steps away from the old city center. But, the online registration process is flawed, and unfortunately due to a terrible experience with it, our stay was not as enjoyable as we would have hoped. The initial very first contact is what sets the tone, and when that experience is bad, you ruin the whole experience, no matter how good is the rest. This chain (Adrez) of aparthotels uses an online registration website, which gathers data prior to the arrival (PCI sensitive data, passport, selfie etc.) but it has one big flaw, it does not do verification of email address. That email address is the same one that will be later used to receive the access code to the building and room. So if anything happens (like a typo), you will not receive the access code and then you will have to contact them to try and get the situation corrected and the access code received. The problem could also be an integration issue between the online registration website and the website used to provide the access code details (it is not the same). But ultimately, when dealing with PCI type data, there should be more rigorous processes to ensure email addresses are stored correctly and to prevent mistakes (like a simple email validation link, that needs to be accessed by the guest). And stop blaming guests for the flaws of your tool

• Charlotte (10/5): Fabulous for Christmas markets - My friend and I spent a wonderful night here whilst visiting the Christmas markets. The hotel was absolutely stunning, clean and had everything we could possibly need. It was very easy to check in and locate our room without the need to find assistance. The location was perfectly central and also had a metro station located round the corner. It was also my friends birthday, one of the staff kindly knocked on our door and brought us round some champagne and chocolate which was beyond kind. Thank you so much! We had such a lovely stay and will recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Prague.

• randompetite (8/5): poor reception despite awesome room facilities - The price was actually great as it is within the city centre and the room is big, clean with remarkable facilities. The only downside is the reception—it is a self-check in hotel so initially, you would need to register before you landed to Prague. I registered 3 days before my flight. I kept emailing them for an early check-in request because I had an early flight but their customer service was poor in answering them. So I ended up going to their main hotel in Jilska which is quite of a hassle to get my hotel access code.

• Errol (8/5): Errol on central europe. - Very good property accommodation wise. However no service or customer focus Unilateral decisions imposed on customers. No reception, other than a reception 15 minutes walk from property. Several staff whilst i was trying to check in referred me to a door in the corridor between the restaurant and coffee lounge. The door was entry to a storage room. Online checkin is the only available option. Speaking by phone to the receptionist, he was not familiar with the online checkin in. I eventually had to take a photo of my passport and email to him to get access code to property and room Worst checkin of any property in 2 mknths across central europe.
• Mentor (2/5): Terrible customer service - Terrible customer service. I couldn't travel due to some personal issues. Called them to postpone to another date and they refused.
• domtheone (6/5): Good by not great. - Stayed June 2024. Very warm then. Unfortunately the A/C in my room wasn't the greatest. Had to have it on maximum and still, the room was too warm. One of these hotels with automated check in. Alas, when I got there, my door/room code was not yet sent to me. Had to make a phone call and then wait another 15 mins for the code to be issued (sat in the Lobby waiting). Positives, the room was nice (a bit small) and spotlessly clean. Nice bathroom too (good shower). Great location (you pay a bit extra for this).
• Tong (4/5): - The passage to toilet is too narrow with the square shower pan. My husband hit his foot on the corner of the shower pan, fell, cut his toe pretty bad. There is no luggage rack or space for our bag.

• Gabriela (10/5): - Great location close to restaurant, shopping, and tourist attractions and just across a park from the main train station and an express airport bus station. The hotel offers a relaxing stay with clean premises and comfortable rooms.
• JIRI (10/5): Comfortable, clean and nice - We were satisfied with the room, its equipment, cleanliness and accessibility of the hotel. The hotel does not have the reception desk, the check-in is possible only online, without doing so you cannot enter the building. Therefore check your e-mail box several days prior to your planned arrival and if the hotel does not send you a message with instructions how to make the online check-in, do not hesitate and call them by phone. After filling in the check-in form it may take several hours until you get the access code which enables you to enter the hotel building and the room.
• Shireen (10/5): - Excellent stay, the room was very spacious with large windows bringing in so much light. There was a coffee machine and a good tea selection in the room. We thought the location was good with access to many shops, cafes etc nearby. Overall, happy with the stay and would be happy to stay here again.

Even though fans were provided, it was extremely hot in the room and fans didn’t help cool it down even with windows open at night. Not very quiet, could easily hear people in next room due to big gaps under connecting doors. Modernly decorated very nice. Tv gave options for viewing paid apps like Netflix. Ended up leaving to find new hotel due to heat.
• Matthew (4/5): - This room should never have been made available in the conditions. It was hotter inside our room than it was outside, for the whole day and the whole night. Fans were provided by the staff but all that did was move the air around. Air conditioning is about to be installed so that would drastically alter my rating of this place. The room was well presented outside of that.
• Doran (6/5): Positive and Negative - the positives first: beds are comfortable, solid but quiet location.Nice interior( bathroom and good fridge.Big TV as well . . . but the BIG downside, it was SUPER SUPER hot in the rooms! While a nice gesture of a fan was sent up I was told a technician would work on the air first thing in the morning .I never heard a follow up and I couldnt be bothered to chase it up either.
• Matthew (10/5): - Very nice room that was modern and clean. Check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow making it a stress-free experience! Just remember to keep an eye out for an email for pre-check-in registration!
• Miho (4/5): - Everything was nice except for no AC on the top floor. Because it is an attic room and the windows are on ceiling, we could not open the window when it rained. The windows closed when it rains. It was a hot night and it was very uncomfortable with the temperature.

• Beth (4/5): No AC - be cautious in the summer! - It was very hot outside and very hot in the room. I was also in the attic (which was not requested). There is no air conditioning, which was my mistake for not realizing this was a problem I needed to look out for. I did not get check in information after following instructions from the email. There is no front desk. Very difficult to get help. The person in the bag hold area was nice, but gave me a number to message, who just repeated everything she said about the email and following the instructions. Finally she made a call and got the information to get into my room. I tried to change my booking prior to coming, no response. Finally after check in, they were more responsive, but still not very helpful with any requests. One person on the messaging system was helpful and nice. I still ended up losing out on a night that I had paid for due to having to move because of the unbearable heat.
• Namrata (8/5): - Good hotel. We had issues with the online checking app. The owner was finally helpful onnce I connected on Whatsapp. The area is walkable and clean.
• Marilynn (4/5): - The attic room was VERY hot and hard to sleep. Outside was cool. If the roof windows stayed open it helped but as soon as a couple of rain drops came they closed and it got hot. Tried to figure out air but no instructions. Just a standing fan..No response from emails, phoning the 24/7 number or whats app So yes room was nice but our stay was not

• Jared (8/5): - I didn’t like the check in process. There is no reception desk so you have to register your information on email to get your door code to enter the hotel and your room. The room however was very clean and had modern furniture. It looked nice. I had the attic room though so it was very hot and the AC did not appear to work. It just blew air that was not cold. Also, someone, I think it was the security card, knocked on my bedroom door at 1:00AM or 0100. It woke me up from my sleep and scared the sh!t out of myself and my family. I called the 24/7 reception phone number and they said it was because I was possibly making too much noise? I don’t see how that was possible though since I have been asleep since 2300. So that was interesting

• Emmalyn (8/5): - The place is really amazing. It’s clean and it’s in a very accessible place - around 7mins walk to station and relatively close to old town (around 13mins walk). Only con during my stay is they changed our bed configuration from two single bed to one queen-size bed. We did not know that they changed it until the night of our stay (we are at the hotel for 4 hours already). They do not have a reception (or not visible at least) so we did not know why it has changed. The bed is not a major problem just the fact that we did not know about it and we did not know who to ask.
• Brent (8/5): - Great location, very enjoyable breakfast. Room was clean, bed was terribly uncomfortable and pillows were tiny and well worn! Not much storage, no drawers for unpacking. Only a wardrobe with a couple shelves and 4 hangers. Typical small shower with handle right where you bump it with your elbow and not much water pressure so you have to stand in the corner of the shower stall. Would stay again if the bed was more comfy otherwise.
• Randy (8/5): - I’ve stayed here three times since 2015. The location is great. Close to multiple metro stations and very close to the main train station. It feels a little run down compared to 7 years ago. It’s a good place to just sleep and explore the city. I used it as base camp for my luggage and took day trips from there. Breakfast was excellent and hasn’t changed in years(it doesn’t need to). Overall a great value for a quiet location.
• bcity_girl2003 (8/5): Wonderful staff - My stay was quite a long time ago but I never gave a proper review. In retrospect, I want to say the staff at this hotel were some of the best I’ve encountered anywhere in Europe (and I’ve been in most European countries). They were welcoming, professional, kind, polite, and very helpful in every way. They made my stay very pleasant, even delivering a tray of complimentary cookies to my room for Christmas. I’ve never experienced anything quite like that during the holidays anywhere else.(I didn’t eat the cookies but I found it a kind and lovely gesture). The management of this hotel should be proud to have such wonderful staff.

• neilhD9743XH (2/5): Hostel at best - Please don't be fooled by the pictures and ratings. We arrived on 24.7.22 and was greeted by an unassuming single door onto the street. This hotel is certainly not what would be expected of a 4 star. The room carpets are filthy and stained. I tried to put the TV on to no avail. When I questioned reception I was told no TVs in any rooms even though they advertise "flat tv". It's certainly true they do have tvs. They just don't work. The light fitting plug was broken in the room as seen in the pics. I didnt dare try turn it on. My key was taken out of the room and when I again questioned reception I was told it was "housekeeping" who did this! Wondering if I thought I lost the key card would I have been charged? Why do housekeeping take your key out of your room?? I have attached some pics of our room. See for yourselves. Seriously avoid if want anything above hostel level. Worst 4 star hotel I've ever stayed at
• anttup2022 (6/5): Good, not great - Hotel Sovereign is a very pleasant hotel with some beautiful interior, a great location, friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast. However, everything is not that great at the hotel. The room cleaning was quite bad (our bed sheets were not changed at all), shower was in poor condition and our rug was very dirty. The hotel ”gym” was also very disappointing as there were pretty much no equipment whatsoever but a simple room with a few mirrors. Overall, the hotel is worth the price you pay for it, but it is far from perfect.
• 164marko (6/5): Very convienient for the train station - The positive: Its ok, and its VERY near the train station. Breakfast is ok, plenty of options The negatives: Not a 4 star hotel at all. The remote control looked like someone vomited on it...ages ago The TV didnt work for 99.99% of stations. Oddly enough for the time thats in it, the ONLY working station was a russian state News station, which of course had as its main story....celebrations of March 1st in the russian countryside...nothing else is going on in the world at the moment it seems..... The room had a really annoying flashing red light on the door handle When I spoke with reception n checkout, the very friendly but ultimately unhelpful lady told me, we know the tv is broken and the remote is dirty, but she can do nothing...its her manager would have to deal with and wouldnt start for 2 hrs...nothing she could do.
• Lea (10/5): Great hotel - The hotel is great. So close to the train station and everything you want to see. The breakfast was awesome. Clean and comfortable beds with squishy pillows.
• Elena_22000 (2/5): Definitely not a 4* hotel! - I stayed there for five nights for a business trip. This is definitely not a 4-star hotel. On the first night I arrived I realized that there was no hot water in the shower. When I called the reception to tell them about it they informed me that I need to let the water run for 10 minutes (!) and that the hot water will come. Indeed the water was hot after 15 minutes! Also the ventilator/air conditioning seems to be broken because it made a very loud sound which made it impossible to sleep. I even recorded it to explain the issue to the person at the reception since they weren’t very fluent in English. The lady then informed me that this is how it sounds because it’s old. As for the breakfast it’s really poor and doesn’t even have eggs. I asked for the person in the breakfast area for some eggs and she didn’t speak English - at all. The room was old, did not feel very clean (photos attached). In general I wouldn’t never stay there again there are numerous 4 or even 5 star hotels for the same price in Prague right now.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient location, room for improvement English - The Hotel is very well located, in walking distance of shops, restaurants, iconic places. Staff friendly. One con: breakfast always the same everyday. The staff at breakfast do not speak English thus impossible to ask them any question (such as what is inside the food being served)
• GARY (6/5): OK but just about - Stayed here before a few years ago and is definitely not as good. The staff were very good and helpful and have no complaints but the WiFi in the room was basically non existent and the TV in the room was not working all the time I was there. Breakfast was OK but menu the same every day. All in all would give a 6 out of 10 as on previous visit there would certainly be a 9. Not a 4 star.

• Ramon (6/5): - The breakfast was adequate, however the hot meals was the same everyday. The reception staff except for one was good. The TV never worked and the bathroom was clean except the toilet smelled like urine even though you flushed it very well. There is a draft coming from the window that got colder early in the morning. Staff cleaning does not have a consistent time. Sometimes they come in early in the afternoon and sometimes very late in the afternoon.
• Jshermanphoto (4/5): Not a four star hotel - Hotel Sovereign in Prague bills itself as a 4 star hotel. I’d have to disagree with that to an extent. The staff are very friendly, the location is five star with its proximity to the square and transportation. The breakfast buffet is nice with a good selection to choose from. The rooms however are disappointing. When we checked in we were given a room that was nice and looked to be recently renovated with no carpet (which was nice) the shower was a big problem though as it filled with water and barely drained. The tv was probably the smallest tv I had ever seen in a hotel and it didn’t even work. So with these issues I requested a different room. We apparently got an older room during the change, the shower had the exact same problem with drainage and the television was just as small and did not get any channel. There were stains on the carpet and by our room door and apparently the walls looked dirty as well. It was very disappointing but we decided to stick it out due to the location. I asked about the tv not working and they stated they were having someone come by to fix all the problems that were causing the tv’s at the hotel to not get reception. We were there 10 days and the tv was never fixed and the shower was a problem every night. All in all I give the Hotel Sovereign 2/5 stars only because of the proximity to everything. If you are looking for convenience this is a good choice, but if you are looking for overall comfort and expectations of a 4 star hotel go elsewhere.

• David (8/5): Nice Stay - Great hotel, very handy for the main railway station. The only problem was the hot water was very very slow and took forever to get warm in the shower but would stay here again. Clean towels and maid service every day which was nice.

• 53pauldavies (10/5): Excellent base for exploring . Previous TripAdvisor Awards - Date of stay 2 nights 9tn - 10th Oct 2021 The hotel is excellent value for money. Within 1- 2 minutes walk from main train station and the Airport Express ( AE service) bus to airport at a cost of 1OO CZ. Located 10 minutes walk from local attractions and main shopping centre. The room was good, clean and warm. Bed was comfortable with clean bed linen and towels. The young lady on reception very professional and extremely helpful with all enquiries or requests that I had, including assistance with completion of the now mandatory Passenger Location Forms (UK) Breakfast was good and a choice of continental or cooked sausages scrambled Eggs, bacon , baked beans potato or green beans. Breakfast waitress friendly and helpful for guests who had problems serving themselves. Overall pleasant stay and an excellent choice.
• pick_jeremy (10/5): Solid 4 star - I give it 5: exceeded expectations . - To be honest, I chose this hotel because they were offering some very good rates. I stayed a week, and was very pleased. — the location is exceptional, a very relaxing 5 minute walk from Hlavi Nadrazi, the central train terminal, which is also where you get the excellent, nonstop, airport express bus. — the WiFi was outstanding the entire stay. — the breakfast buffet was very good. The only warning I have: when you make your credit card payment, the machine will ask if you want to pay in Czech currency, or in Dollars ( or euros ). Definitely accept payment in Czeck korunas. If you choose dollars or euros, it will charge you a 4.5% currency exchange fee. I was very pleased with the property and would definitely stay here again.
• JoelRowdy (4/5): Aircon not working properly - The hotel is ok. A good 3star i would say. The rooms are big. The location is super! The aircon was not really working and you cant adjust it temperature. My friends room had no wifi connection. He transfered to another room, the bathroom had a weird smell. Breakfast was descent. Service from staff was very good and friendly.
• BackPacker330474 (6/5): Location 5 star - Hotel 3 star - Stayed 1 night here due to the excellent location, virtually 1 minute away from the train station. The room was okay, the hotel was okay, but expected a bit more. They gave very tiny shower gel, small towel, room could had been a bit cleaner and tidier. I did not like that reception first wanted to charge in EUR then higher amount than the spec. price i booked in CZ. But luckily all got sorted out fast.
• RunningAround42195 (8/5): Nice hotel conveniently located in central Prague, but with a few errors - Stayed 3 nights and then came back for a last night with a group from Sweden. First stay rooms 205 and 207 facing the street was noisy. Last night in 201 facing the back of the hotel which was quieter. TV:s didn't work in the entire hotel, we was informed by check-in. AC didn't either, they probably just let guests use it on during summer heat. First day we asked for a fan (207 had one) but no response from reception, they just noted it. Rooms were spacy and comfortable. Mini-bar with possibility to put in 1-2 own bottles. Big bathroom with shower cabin and bidet. There was a small gym and a relaxation area with sauna in the celler. Did not use it. Quite good breakfast buffet included in our price, but we missed a toaster and marmalade and it took 3 breakfasts to find the butter, which was placed by the fruit, not with the cheese as it usually is. When we came back for the second stay 201 had a fan! Hotel was clean and the beds comfortable. But the shower towels was very small!, just a little bigger than my normal hand towels. One room had slightly bigger, which I would have loved because I also need to dry my long hair. Some receptionists were ok, but not much more. When Jiri (George in english) was working in the reception it was a joy to meet him! So nice and service minded! He had a new young trainee and hopefully she will learn a lot from him about how to make guests feel happy and pleased! We had nice stays at a good price and won't hesitate to come back. The minor issues didn't really bother us so much!
• Georgewinston81 (8/5): Review of our stay - Overall the accommodation at the hotel was very unpleasant. Air-condition was not working, the guy at the reception was not helpful at all. The hotel is located perfectly in downtown so everything is nearby. The breakfast was very well prepared with a lot to choose from. We would like to thank the employee called "Erica" who was the nicest person we met during our Europe travelling. She was doing there almost everything from the receptionist to housekeeper or a server, amazing lady. Thank you again.

Their TV service was not working, their AC is terrible simply doesn’t cool down the room in summer time, the breakfast is all you can eat which would be great if they change the menu a bit, same food everyday. • emiliehA8343TQ (2/5): DEFINITELY NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL !!! - My boyfriend and I stayed there for 4 nights in June. We booked it expecting a good 4 star hotel, with breakfast as seen in the pictures above and good service. However, when we arrived we were quite disappointed. Our room had no wifi, no warm water and when we spoke to the reception about it they were not helpful and instead responded in a rude manner. We complained a few times but that did not change anything. Instead of being understanding, the lady at the front desk made us seem like we were the problem and had no interest in being service minded. I dont think she smiled once. The breakfast the first morning had no buffet, and instead had one of the waiters brining us food randomly. The following days, the breakfast was a buffet, however NOTHING like the one in the pictures, which was also very disappointing as we had looked forward to it. Instead it was very small and limited, making us wonder where they got those pictures on their website from. In addition, in the 5 days we were there, we only had our room cleaned once and the 1 time the cleaning lady walked straight into our room at 9 am while we were asleep. We had locked the door with a chain lock, but that fell off the second she tried to open the door, which made us quite uncomfortable as anyone could walk in at anytime if they wanted to. Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel!
• BooBoo19601974 (2/5): Dont stay at this hotel, stay away from this hotel!!!!! - During these summer days i've checked into this hotel. I was moved twice, There was no aircon in the room or working TV. Breakfast was Just awful, eggs benedict if u wanna call that. Was eggs with mayonaise at 7.30 what chef put mayonaise on a plate for breakfast??? Still no comunication from the hotel or refund, nothing Stay away from this hotel. This hotel should have maybe 2* but not more than that.
