• Jvic82 (6/5): A Cold, Transactional Stay Lacking the Signature Hilton Touch - What we have always loved about staying with the Hilton brand is the personalized touch, the thoughtful surprises, and their ability to partner with you when you want to truly "wow" someone special. Unfortunately, our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn New York/Manhattan-Chelsea offered none of that. Instead, it felt entirely business-as-usual—a rigid, highly transactional property that made us question if it was even part of the Hilton family. To give a specific example: a simple request for a flower arrangement had to be emailed to the reception manager, who didn't follow up until two days later. This broken communication completely ruined the gesture. If you are looking for the warm hospitality and attentiveness that Hilton is typically known for, you won't find it here. Thank goodness, the clean and spotless rooms, breakfast teams with their warm food and smiles helped warm us a bit. And if you request bottled water in the reception - some ladies would even add a smile, some would say, go and buy them. Ha!

• Katharina (7/5): Das Zimmer wurde täglich sehr ordentlich gereinigt, sowie auch das Bett gemacht, jedoch nicht frisch bezogen. Klima hat - Die Lage ist perfekt. Zwei Subway Zugänge in der 28th 1 und 2 sowie R und W. Flatiron, Empire State Building, High Line, Penn Station sind nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Toilette sowie die Badewanne sind sehr stark abgenutzt, Sie weisen durch die angegriffene Oberfläche schon einen hygienischen Mangel auf. Wasser lief in der Dusche. Ich gut ab, es wurde sofort ein Handwerker organisiert der das Problem behoben hat. Das Bett ist sehr bequem, allerdings war an der unteren Matratze kein Bezug angebracht. Dies zeigt leider das Sie abgenutzt und teilweise verschmutzt war.

The area has New York's vibrancy, without the overwhelming buzz of some other nearby neighborhoods. It is very accessible to the yellow, red, and orange subway lines. The housekeeping staff was very attentive as was the front desk staff, especially the Front Office Manager, Kenol, who helped us with a left-behind item.

• Ellen (9/5): Toplocatie en prima prijs/kwaliteit: ik zou dit hotel zo opnieuw boeken! - De locatie was supercentraal, midden in een straatje vol bloemenverkopers. Het is een fijne, levendige buurt met veel eetmogelijkheden, dicht bij metrostations en op loopafstand van Penn Station, Empire State Building en Macy’s. Het personeel was supervriendelijk! De kamer had een prima grootte voor vier personen en had een koelkastje en magnetron, heel fijn voor self catering (wij hadden geen ontbijt bijgeboekt). De isolatie leek goed: de temperatuur was prima, raam kon wat open en we hebben geen geluiden van straat of van andere gasten gehoord. Maar misschien was het hotel niet vol? De kamers en met name de badkamer zouden wat tlc en onderhoud kunnen gebruiken (kitten en schilderen maakt het net wat frisser). En haakjes of een kapstok zou fijn zijn. Goed te weten: er is niet veel ruimte voor grote koffers. Verder niks, alles prima in orde!

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est top Les options pour le petit dej et au final, on se sent obligé de donner des tips chaque jour alors que le coût du petit dej est déjà élevé. Même si le personnel est très serviable, au final cela revient moins cher de manger dehors sachant qu’il y a des établissements vraiment à côté. Chambres un peu vétustes mais literie assez confortable. L’accès à l’ascenseur par contre peut être long: on peut parfois attendre 10-15mn avant qu’il n’arrive vu le nombre d’étages

• Zuzanna (8/5): Good location but very loud - Location was amazing, walking distance to metro and Penn Station. Room was clean, bathroom fittings were bit outdated but nontheless bathroom was clean. The ice machine was located on our floor and it made terribly loud noise, also the mini fridge was way too loud for a mini fridge. Not to mention the heating/ac unit growling like a beast from hell, thankfully we visited in spring and it was warm enough to not turn it on. Hadn't we brought earplugs we wouldn't had slept at all. The door was moving when someone opened the door on the opposite side of the corridor and it was impossible to close it securely. No kettle but I guess its an american thing to make tea in the microwave. Sometimes the elevators had sone issues but we lived on 3rd floor so we just used the stairs.

Petit bémol : Petit dej inclus sans option "salé" - Seules les viennoiseries / Yaourts / fruits étaient inclus // Tout le salé chaud était en option, j'aurais aimé le savoir en réservant.

• Leonardo (9/5): Excelente estadia - Localização ótima (com disposição, dá para fazer muita coisa a pé), com metrô da Linha 1 na esquina e um excelente corpo de funcionários, sempre sorridente e afetuosa. A demora do elevador e a obrigação da gorjeta no café da manhã.
