They balance a 5 star experience without feeling stuffy. That’s not easy. Here the compliment, we saw the concierge in his day off having tea with his family at the hotel. That shows they know how to build a team and make it a fun rewarding experience for everyone. Hope I do that in my business. The location cannot be beat and our rooms were huge and everyone was very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Feels like your home after the first night.

• christine (10/5): - Das exklusive Hotel liegt im Herzen von London mit fanatischen großen Zimmern, Marmorbad und perfektem Service. Das Team vom Hotel ist einzigartig, freundlich, charmant. Wir fühlen uns dort ausgesprochen wohl, es ist nicht zu groß, genau das lieben wir! Es gab traumhaftes Frühstück, auch haben wir in der Bar am Nachmittag köstliche Snacks genossen. Wir kommen wieder! Alles war perfekt!

• TheoV158 (10/5): A great place to stay: all the way excellent - The interior decoration is very special, radiating warmte and welcome. Service is more than excellent. Mistakes are dealt with in an excellent and friendly way. The room was excellent with a good, though for me (194cm) a little short, bed. Bath and shower real good. Excellent food in the restaurant. And, for a change, the food you get via roomservice is actually as if it is served in the restaurant! The swimming pool is amazing. One good think to be on a beach or something. Of course there is a wonderful lounge area, with a great private dining room. It is sooo much better than the Ritz in every way possible. We loved it. One of the best hotels we have stayed in.
• KakapoExplores (8/5): Good but a couple of things to improve on - The bar has a nice feel and the food and drinks were very nice. The service is also good in the bar but it always seems a little slow. The pool looks great but the temperature is too cold for a pleasant swim (we found it was too cold when we stayed a previous time too). Restaurant service was good and the food was nice. Would have much preferred the option of a vegetarian main course as only meat and a vegan option available. Vegan option was quite nice but with it all being vegetables/lentils it was a bit too much of the same and I would have preferred some diary in it as some contrast.

I don’t recommend - Nothing because staff made me dislike the hotel Staff at reception ( one male and one female presenting themselves as managers) The staff at reception (management in particular) I wad treated rudely. Asked to pay deposit of 100p and I offered to pay in cash because i want to get it back when I check out instead of waiting for days if i paid by credit card. They refused and asked for 300 p if it’s cash. I was treated like a thief because they emptied the minibar in order not pay deposit. Is this a 5 star hotel. !?!

Для тех, кто курит, оборудована очень уютная терраса с диванами и зонтиками. Отель находится в частных руках - владельцы муж и жена, и их забота и внимание к мелочам очень заметны. Я нашла свой отель в Лондоне и хотела бы неоднократно сюда возвращаться ! Понравилось всё! Хотелось бы, чтобы в номерах поставили электрические чайники - я пью много горячей воды в течение дня и было бы удобнее, чтобы она была под рукой. Если бы можно было иметь возможность попросить ортопедическую подушку (у меня проблема с шеей), было бы идеально. Ну, а если бы на ТВ был установлен Netflix, то больше придраться было бы не к чему:)

• Y9983YCjohnm (2/5): Not Happy - After spending several thousands of pounds on a Xmas staff lunch the gouging staff and management then required us to purchase food in order-to have post lunch drinks at the public bar where no else had been required to order food with their drinks. Do not book this place !!They do not care about customer service- only getting your money. They also do not care about consumer rights as they were not prepared to give details of their complaints procedures or contact details.

Room was large, comfortable & well equipped. The hotel is very central so easy to walk into Piccadilly, Regent / Oxford or New Bond streets. The breakfast was exceptionally expensive, a small yogurt & berries & a small toast with poached egg & avocado £49 totally ridiculous. The quality of food was average. I would definitely not eat breakfast there.

Die beste Dusche, die wir jemals hatten, perfekt einstellbar mit richtig viel Wasser. Lobby und Doorman sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Schönes Restaurant. Das Frühstück lässt kaum Wünsche offen, auf Bestellung werden sehr gute Eierspeisen serviert. Der Orangensaft, darauf lege ich größten Wert. Am ersten Tag tatsächlich frisch gepresst, an den übrigen Tagen von guter Qualität, aber wohl Convenience Produkt. Cappucino hat Luft nach oben. Eigentlich keine Wurst- und Käseauswahl.

Whilst it is obvious there are other 5 star hotelsto choose from in London, we would not hesitate to stay at the Haymarket upon our next visit. From the moment you enter, you are greeted with a warm hello and smile by the door staff, then reception and concierge. We have rarely been so warmly received at a hotel stay and we travel extensively. The decor is divine – so quirky and eclectic with that understated elegance. We had a larger room which was incredibly comfortable. Loved the warm bathroom and fabulous tub. The closet was very large with ample space for longer stay. The hotel entrance is on a side street which makes entering and exiting so refreshingly quiet . Being a boutique hotel you get the feel of intimacy without feeling like you are in the hustle and bustle of a big city. The location was perfect for us as it was minutes from Trafalgar Square. A bonus was the restaurant Brumus. Amazing breakfast which was included in our stay and was exceptional. A late night cap at the bar proved equally wonderful as my martini was top drawer. I think it’s important to remember you’re in London so it’s expensive no matter what. But for us we felt we got what we paid for and having staff that was professional, helpful , friendly and went the extra step was well worth the price tag. The housekeeping staff was also on their top game. Cheers to the Haymarket Hotel for making our short stay in London that much better.
