Guest Reviews
- jayebirdt (4/5): "Excuse me...who are you again??!" - stayed at the knights Inn 5870 S. Orange Blossom Trail earlier this month. One thing I noticed is that the price on the marquee is never the same price that your are charged, aside from the normal fees... a $30-$40 difference. I don't travel much so that might be the norm, but renting a room and having it smell as if the previous guest was a chain smoker is NOT! Aside from that, at least the room was "clean". What also isn't the norm is having the employee who works at the front desk, whom by the way wasn't the employee whom rented me the room, banging on my door at 1:30 in the morning, waking me up out of my sleep, accusing me of having an unregistered guest in my room, that he claimed to see on the surveillance camera, and demanding to "see I.D. His attitude was nasty and highly unprofessional. My first question to whom is in charge is... why don't your employees wear identification??? Having signs posted in your room stating to "not open your door to people you don't know", and then have staff with bad attitudes and no badge, no I.D., demanding you to open your door to verify unregistered, imaginary people, is beyond the pale. The only room available at the time was a 2-bed room, which i rented. There would be no reason for me to "sneak in " anyone, let alone lie about it. at checkout time i open my door, to have a "Rules and Etiquette" notice attached to my door. speaking with the early shift person in charge about the incident, his only response was "You're not getting a refund". Obviously, it would not have benefitted me talking to anyone of any authority at that location, so I chose to post my grievances here, Your staff ...if nothing else, should have clear and recognizable Identification when dealing with guests, and the minimum of training on how to deal with the public, and not sounding like a street thug.
- leilanir733 (2/5): I will never be coming back - I had a terrible stay. The room had roaches, and the beds made my skin itch badly. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone and won’t be returning.
- Wyteria (10/5): - So glad I didn't go by those bad reviews online! Room was super clean. The only roach we saw was dead and that was the last day of our stay. Friendly management and all appliances worked
- shaun (10/5): - Very well kept up rooms very polite welcoming property management als likke the assertive and attendant to my needs
- cristinadV5368GX (10/5): Steven is the best - The only employee there that actually cares is Steven he's the manager and he helps any and all guests with their complaints and concerns other employees aren't like him at all he goes above and beyond without him that hotel will be sh** just keeping it real
- pastryc2025 (2/5): Not happt - I am writing this because this was a horrible hotel first when checking in the front desk clerk was very rude and just seemed mad at the world he then proceeded to put my family and I into a room that isn't fit for dogs the floors and walls were not cleaned and my daughter had to clean it all up the only thing the maids did do was make the beds and take the garbage out the tile just before you stepped into the bathroom bowed and it felt like you would fall thru the toilet wouldn't flush that is the only thing maintenance fixed the smoke detector beeped every time someone took a shower the roo also had roaches my daughter found there nest it's in the fridge there was underwear under the sink on the pipes didn't touch that it's gross there was mold in the room they gave us a gross hot plate to cook with it must have had ten layers of grease on it the tub you can't take a bath just a shower we did report everything wrong nothing ever got fixed except the toilet that didn't want to flush that was the only time we saw maintenance I am very unhappy this room was a health hazard and we had to tape the widow cause it was falling out it's plexy glass nothing about this room is worth what they charged us it's not worth anything
- Amaris (10/5): - Only thing that did not work was the microwave but other then that everything else was amazing
- michael (2/5): It was 30° out the heater broke no refund!! - I arrived. I checked in. They were nice enough to give me an early check-in later on that day. I put on the heater before I left because it was really cold out. I came back. It was blowing cold air. My room was frigid. It was uninhabitable. I asked the front desk lady for another room. She would not give me one so I had to crash in my buddies room. The next day I went to the front desk explain to him that I had to leave the room and they wouldn’t even give me another place to sleep last night I told him I want my money back. He said no I said can I have a Comp night? He said no don’t waste your money.
- Elaine (10/5): - Nice in clean
- Sadey (2/5): - There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, and holes in the sheets that looked like mice and cigarette burns, and the place reeked of cigarette smoke.
- Jim (2/5): - The room was dirty. the tub hasn't seen a scrub brush in years
- L3993ZAdavido (2/5): Gross, dirty, broken everything - This was the most disgustingly dirty, insect ridden hotel room I've ever stayed in. Roaches and bedbugs were crawling around everywhere. It took a herculean effort just to get the clerk to assign another room. Avoid this place at all costs. Absolutely horrible experience.
- David (2/5): - The room is crawling with insects and disgusting bugs. The door handle is broken. Curtains are ripped and hanging askew. The bathroom has peeling paint and rusty fixtures. The grossest hotel room I've ever seen.
- 839dank (2/5): Horrible, do not recommend, - I booked a stay for March 26 on Expedia. However I wanted to stay on March 11. When my son and I went to check in I realized I had booked the wrong date. The clerk at the counter refused to change my reservation. Expedia was never able to contact a manager and the hotel refused a refund. Never a manager on duty, I’m out over $300. Easy way to fix problem would have been to change my reservation date when I arrived but the clerk had no interest in assisting us
- frederick (2/5): - stay away from this hotel at all cost it’s full of druggies hookers and prostitutes. This hotel is a major disaster.
- Becky (2/5): - Our room was absolutely disgusting, so bad we left and paid for another hotel. Toilet had bugs in it and was disgusting around and behind it.
Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Said remodeled, total lie.
- CHRISTOPHER (2/5): - They rent the rooms monthly which tells you transient traffic stays there. However I appreciated that they had very strict rules about loitering, parties, etc so the residents were well mannered. They room needed painting badly and the bathroom was in great need of updating.
- Heather (4/5): - There is a sign that says recently remodeled, not sure where that update was done but it was not in our room. The floors were nasty(feet were black walking from bed to bathroom) the beds were sunken in the middle. The walls has holes in them. You can hear EVERYTHING. The price was cheap so wasn’t expecting much. But if you are looking for comfort and a good nights rest, maybe pay a little more. Also I must mention, the employee who checked us in, was super friendly!
- John Israel (4/5): - We didnt get a single king bed that we book. Room we got smell smoke. Broken shower. Leaking toilet base.
- Sam (2/5): - Trashy
- John (2/5): Ghetto - Wouldn't even put a dog in there it was the pits went and booked another hotel down the road stay away from it
- Shaylan (4/5): - Needs to be sprayed for bugs badly
- Julie (2/5): - Unsafe neighborhood. Locked building had to use a phone to get in. Very dirty. Needs updating. Shower curtain didn’t fit. Very loud outside cars, people partying, movement upstairs. Has to sign a waiver they weren’t responsible for bed bugs. Ridiculous.
- 862wilfredd (10/5): Great hotel - My experience here has been Awsome . The staffing is great. I have Walmart which I'm an older male hate the walking because I don't drive. The manager Steven always make sure I'm OK even when I went into the hospital. Thanks for all you do
- Paul M (10/5): - Good
- Michael (2/5): Knights Inn a dump - Worse place I have ever seen we did not stay there we found another place. I asked if i could get a refund and was denied.
- Andrew (2/5): It's not fair to surprise people - I booked a non-smoking king bed but upon arrival was told that all their king beds are in smoking rooms. That not being an option for me I was downgraded, without any concessions. This was a non-refundable reservation which I should have taken as a warning. When they have specific new conditions for guests upon arrival I see it as not something I agreed to. What is obvious upon arrival is that they are dealing with a serious local issue. Those conditions, and their efforts should probably be disclosed ahead of time.
- Melissa (2/5): Very Disappointed - Check-in took over 20 minutes. I had to sign waivers and when I questioned this the clerk was very nasty about it. I asked for non smoking room and the room clearly had been smoked in. The room wreaked, the floors were filthy. Needless to say I did not spend the night.
- Verified traveler (4/5): My stay - Checking in was easy. Only 2 towels. When I pulled my sheets down there were spots that did not come clean, they looked like they were wet. Someone near my room was smoking pot. The smell was worse in the bathroom. Toilet would flush but not clean out the bowl. We tried to make if work.
- Brycen (2/5): - Bugs crawling all over floor, no hot water, towels were not clean.
- Edward9662 (2/5): Couldn't find our reservation - Absolutely horrible. Get your sh/t together. Staff had no records of our reservations. Took over an hour sitting outside to try and find all the information I had because they couldn't find us, while all that time I have a confirmation number and my card was charged. Called 3 times prior to our arrival with the same result. Stay away!
- R4902WNcindyc (10/5): Weekend getaway - Great hotel next to much convenient stores easy check-in and rooms were great bed is also Fantastic Ms Liz is Fantastic Great choice will come again did I mention the hot shower is just what I needed.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Honeslty nothing when I first got there me and my fiance had to clean the room because the room was left nasty nasty sheets nasty pillow cases the tub wasn't clean we had to bleach that house keepers dont come to see if you need anything especially if you staying for a while they began to start over charging and certain workers change. they have roaches
- alrivera76 (10/5): Best rate for the area - Had a great stay! Steven in front desk made sure me and my family were set with the best accommodations for the room. Was very friendly and professional. Albert did a great job helping me and my family with our bags!
Rooms smelled great! Will come again.
- tracis816 (10/5): Knights Inn Orlando - Me and my husband frequent here often and we LOVE IT! Nice rooms and the housekeeper Belinda is amazing. The room are spotless! The manager Steve is kind and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this motel. You definitely wont2 regret it.
- Brittneyhound45 (10/5): Jaileen customer service - Can you believe Jaileen checked me in about three minutes! She was fast , patient and very welcoming! It’s finally nice too meet a front desk clerk with great customer service! Thank you Jaileen I’ll be back
- Timetraveler1995 (10/5): Greattttt service! - The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are always so nice and smell great. I’ve been here for a few weeks and Kirsten at the front desk has always made sure my room and other guests are enjoying their stay as much as possible. She really makes the place feel like home! -CF
- 901sylvainl (10/5): Mr Leon - Hello I'm Leon, I stay at knights inn on 5870 South Orange Avenue in Orlando, for few months.
Very clean place, good service
And a special Attention to Ms kivsten at the front desk, very professional, she treats all costumer with all Attention, she a hard worker, I got many months to observe, how good and special worker she is.
Best place to stay around Orlando Good price.
- Y2249BFericw (10/5): Great trip - This hotel is very well kept. When i checked in Kirsten greeted me and welcomed me with a beautiful smile
The rooms are clean and nice
I will definitely stay here again
Stay safe and see you soon. This hotel is very centrally located close to everything.
- Jose-12379 (10/5): Jaileen - Honestly Jaileen made me feel so comfortable in a area that I was not familiar with , she assisted me several times with out any hesitation. Thank you Jaileen for giving me a clean odor free room! You’re an amazing employee , will be returning!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It’s good hotel for people to come every trip in Orlando
- Aj (2/5): - It was very dirty . Didn't feel safe at that location at all . Was ask to buy drugs on multiple times . The front desk will not help you at all. I wouldn't stay here again even if it was for very
- aviass2020 (10/5): EXCELLENT HOTEL & GUEST SERVICE - I booked the hotel as a live in in the month of March, at first I wasn't sure to stay because the hotel looks amazing on the outside bit wasn't sure about the inside. I was givin a tour by the hotel manager "Stephen" and was in shock soon thereafter. The rooms were spotless, clean, large, and full of amenities. I would def book again 😃😉
- 480chrissyw (10/5): Thank you - Thanks for all the great customer service. Steven. Bless u and your family at this time its very clean and quite. There water is hot no bugs that. I've seen. Nice housekeeping. Keep up the great work. The beds were nice the ac was cold. Im lucky first floor next to the ice box. Thank you again for all ya hard work .
- Verified traveler (6/5): SUCKS - ROACHES!! WAS A GREAT STAY UNTIL ROACHES DECIDED TO THROW A BLOCK PARTY WHILE I WAS GONE. AND SOME GUY TRIED TO BREAK INTO MY ROOM
- 169elijahn (6/5): Great place for a small hotel - My family and I needed a place too stay! We've.been here since November and our experience has been wonderful!! Steven has an excellent way of dealing with customers... If you need a place weather long or short term I recommend knights inn on obt and Oakridge in Orlando
- I7616PXalexs (10/5): Hotel - Steve the front desk clerk. Was amazing he my trip very enjoyable. And made sure I have everything during my stay . I will definitely be coming back to this hotel. Rooms are very clean never have a issue when I stay here
- Sonya (4/5): - The room stank
- Y2249BFericw (10/5): Visit - The staff is very friendly from the front desk to the housekeepers. The rooms are nice and clean. This is a nice and quiet hotel. I will definitely recommend to freinds and family. Wonderful place to stay in Orlando.
- Cstromby (2/5): Reservation not honored, stained bedding, do not go here - We made a reservation, as a couple, in advance for a single king-bed room, through their own website. What good is a confirmation number when there's nothing to confirm against when we get there? There was no reservation there for me. So my options were two – either leave and hope for the best, late afternoon day of for reasonably similar accommodations elsewhere, or take the ridiculous offer of paying MORE for a room with two small beds – such a great offer for us to stay as a couple. So sorry my reservation went to the “wrong channel?” Seriously... seems like some garbage they do to scam tourists.
So yeah, exasperated, we took the room. Smelled like mildew the moment we walked in. And immediately visible, one of the bed comforters had crusty tan gunk on it… vomit? Excrement? Who knows. We went and asked for clean bedding. There were no clean comforters available, only additional sheets. Additional sheets which also had rust-colored stains spotting them. Feces? Blood? Again, who knows.
Place felt like a cell, all a uniform gross tan paint and no rug or carpet. No hot water in the shower. A toilet that seemed to not have any effective “flush” function. But I guess we were lucky, only one cockroach spotted during our night’s stay.
I would never stay again, would enthusiastically encourage people not to, and would think anyone who owns or runs the place should be embarrassed of it.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I got to this place after a long night, it was 3am when I show up to my hotel and they told me they currently had no open rooms, I follow to tell the guy I had a reservation, he still insisted and told me that i didn't have a room and that he couldn't help me. After few days of calling they got my refund send, but ai had to sleep in my car because their miscommunication.
- Dailoni129 (10/5): Bussiness - My experience was great at the knights inn orlando , the front desk receptionist Jaileen was so much help. Very kind , patient and sweet. She made my stay very amazing! I will definitely come back! Thank you again Jaileen
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It took over an hour for me to check into a room that I am only occupying for 7 hours. The room was filthy, I killed a roach up one entering. Definitely not even worth it even if it’s was free. I would like a refund. This place was terrible
- Logan (2/5): - Roaches and cigarettes burns everywhere. Unclean... awful experience
- Romeo (2/5): Disgusting! - Terrible! Roaches everywhere. Everything smells. Absolutely disgusting.
- Hasani (10/5): Latosha helped us out and made us feel like family - Clean comfy and no noise friendly neighborhood close to everything
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I couldn’t sleep my door wouldn’t close completely so I had to stay up all night plus major prostitution
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The lady receptionists were not considerate. It was a very hot day when I came to the reception to do my check-in, which was about 45 minutes before 3 pm. She refused to let me check- in a bit earlier but sharp 3pm. Also, she did not care about me as a loyal customer that she kept me outside in the the heat of the very hot day without arranging a seat for me to wait. In the past, the former receptionists of this hotel were very nice. They often let me check in 1 hour earlier than 3pm without any problem. This is a matter of service quality and the attitude towards customer.
- Ted (2/5): Eww - I checked in late they claimed I didn’t have a reservation made me pay for a room, the dayshift gave me a credit. The hotel was in poor condition and apparently caters to a criminal clientele there were two detectives and a uniform policeman there when I left
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The bed had chewed up candy all in it never was cleaned the bathroom was moldy and disgusting. There was dealers out side of our room Scary place we requested to be transferred to a new hotel
- Barbara (6/5): I couldn’t stay 1 hr more without paying 1/2 night - The hotel was what expected for the price payed however the service was too bad. Also no reception which didn’t help with the service arrangement requested that was just discard unsimpathetic to my situation.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No towels, room not clean, no help from staff, chronic loitering of unknown persons outside of property. Did not feel safe or secure.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Does Hotels.com do ANY vetting of offerings?? - Fresh blood on floor, numerous crawling bugs visible on bed, door opens without access card (not lockable), multiple homeless drug addicts accosting people from car to room. Does this hotel have a valid operating license from the city of Orlando?? Does Hotels.com do ANY vetting of hotels it offers up to it's customers??
- David (2/5): - Booked a non smoking room and got a smoking room. Attendant did move me. Roaches.
- OSCAR (8/5): Save our night. - It started on a bad note, because they charged me twice, but then they really help me with the charge; also I left a phone and they took care of it and help me with that, for the price it was good!
- Paul (2/5): Very bad one - Very uncomfortable scratchy towels , dirty bed covers, annoying malfunctioning smoke detectors, unsafe , should not be on Hotels.com
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Bad neighborhood, loud traffic, poorly furnished rooms
- Carlos (2/5): - We got there at 11pm to do check in, there was 3 suspects outside on the second floor smoking marihuana. The neighboorhood looked not safe, the area was dirty, the room wasn’t cleaned and smelled really bad. It didn’t had the requirements to be consideres an hotel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - My husband and I had the most terrible experience in this hotel we paid over $130.00 dollars to have at least a decent clean place to sleep while visiting Florida. The room seems clean but around 6am I woke up to see a roach on my sheets I jump out of bed woke up my husband, I went to the bathroom and to my surprice they were roaches on the floor and by the vanity were our toothbrushes , toothpaste and makeup we throw out everything. I took some pictures to show them to the front desk person, we pick up all our belongings we check everything to make sure we didn't took any roach back home, my husband and I put our things in our car and went talke to the manager, there was no manager available on that day, we talked to Tyree Guess Service, he gave us his card to call back next day to talked to the manager about our bad and gross experience in this hotel. He canceled our reservation that we had for us to stay one more day we didn't want to stay not one more minute in that place. He told us there is no way we can give you credit for this night that you stayed here, the only thing I can do is to cancel your todays reservation, my husband and I were so mad about this whole situation, we will never stayed in this hotel and we will tell our whole family and friends not to. We expected better service and much better cleanest in this hotel. This is the worst experience ever !!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Basic serviceable room. Bed not terribly comfy. Pillows small and no support. Would have been ok except the drug dealer up stairs was pacing the floor both nights at 4:30AM until 6 or so, moving furniture around, dropping things, exercising, who knows. Sleep would have been nice.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - You had to do business outside through awindow. The neighborhood did not feel safe. The bathroom floor was very dirty. Very low class for the price . We have stayed at a nicer hotel for a cheaper price and cleaner. The employee was not friendly or personably,
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I like this property because everything is nearby.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It is ghetto molet.. my room bathroom is need repairs, shower nozele about to break, it leaks, towels used to be white but now they yellow.. it is nit the place where you get rest becouse moyeks neighbors always loud...
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Want my money baxk asao stafd werw great room have roachea smoke smell every room th w y tried to place me ib smell like smke
- Jack (4/5): - The only upside during my stay was the staff was polite and even helped me print some forms off that I needed. The parking lot is set up so your close to the rooms which made carrying luggage easier. The room I stayed in smelled like cigarette smoke, there some mold spots on the shower ceiling, the shower head was not fixed to the wall. The furniture was scratched and not in the best conditions was some of the handles and knobs missing. The hotel is in kinda of a sketchy part of town so be careful who you run into when its dark out. There is construction right next to the hotel so there is a lot of nosie.
- Mick (10/5): - Excellent manager helped out and was very much appreciated
- Sha (2/5): - It was my biggest mistake ever to stay there, very noisy, people were smoking right outside my door.
- Bryce (2/5): Don't stay here, ever - Terrible experience. Lazy staff.
- kiara (2/5): Terrible - The recepcionist is great, but the hotel is terrible, whithout shower hot, very dirty!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice hotel helpful staff clean rooms
- Room 240 (10/5): - Great staff and house keeping
- Noel (10/5): Latosha great worker - Latsosha is a very productive hard worker. She helps you the best way every day. Very trustworthy
- noel (10/5): Front desk she is very respectfully - The area isn't that great but the front desk and the staff are great people very respectfully and work hard I would recommend staying here to my friends and family
- TAMMY L LETCHER (2/5): Le Hotel Garbage - Will never stay here or recommend this place!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Orlando - Was not a good area to stay at did not stay and no refund was given.
- Verified traveler (6/5): This Hotel? - Its located in a slightly rough part of town but there are security cameras everywhere. So it was quiet at night and I had no issues. Bathroom facilities are old and warn but the room was safe and clean. Hotel is next to Walmart, but the Walmart is not open 24-hours. Not bad for a one night stay.
- Leah (6/5): Maximum security prison - When leading for a hotel I don't want to feel like I'm I'm prison!
- Triffina (8/5): - It was okay for the price I paid. The location is great even if you don't have a car, and very close to restaurants.
- Verified traveler (8/5): No breakfasr - no computer in the loby or breakfast. the staff was pleasant, rooms clean. Basic hotel I would stay there again
- L (2/5): Terrible. Dirty. A lot of noise - Dirty. Loud. Unsafe. Unable to name one good thing.
High crime and drugs area.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Poor value - Poor value, I will never book a hotel room through expedia again.
- Ron (4/5): No frills hotel in bad section of Orlando - Unfortunately had to choose this hotel because no other hotels were available . Had to sign for pages of legal documents regarding liability for theft of belongings in car and hotel in addition to warnings that children should not be allowed to go to even the vending machine without parental supervision , nor should they be left in the room alone. Did not feel safe at this hotel . Asked expedia to process a refund for the second day which we did not wish to stay however the hotel refused to refund any money for the second day . We took the loss $332 for a two night stay. What a waste of money. legal forms absolve owners for any liability for theft, bed bugs, etc. entire place is under intense video surveillance, with warning signs everywhere. Would not recommend to stay here unless without children and just for a quick sleep( though somewhat noisy at night as is next to roadway).
- Scott (6/5): GREAT PLACE TO TEACH YOUR KIDS STREETWISE - Not a 4 Star as advertised! Sketchy Neighboorhood. Don't bring your family here, unless you want to teach some streetwise lessons! LOL!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There was cockroaches. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling down. And the bed completely broke.
- Estrella (2/5): - No good
- Anthony (2/5): Condemn this building - Bed bugs in the bed cigarette burns on everything knife holes in the chair and drug addicts in the parking lot, knights hotel and hotels.com refused to refund our money and so I had to pay for another hotel across town at my cost
- Felipe (10/5): For the price is excellent - Great costumer service
- Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel - Best thing about this place is Walmart is within walking distant.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Sketchy with a side of roaches! - Where do I begin?
Location so safe you wish you could put your car into in the inroom safe with your jewelry
Staff is already over you before you're in the parking lot
Beds squeaky enough for a rap song
A thief stole all the knobs off the furniture
Furniture so old it could be in a museum
if you miss your pets at home don't worry- room comes with complimentary cockroaches and ants
- Verified traveler (4/5): regrettably negative, - The location is not safe, it was very much out dated and beat up. It was way too expensive for what they offered, I just needed the room for a few hours to stay and take shower before a meeting and I was very disappointed.
