- anastassial2015 (6/5): This is not a 5-star Hotel - This hotel listed as a 5-star hotel, but it felt like a 3-star hotel. It is very outdated. Definitely needs remodeling. The room was dusty. The staff is polite, but will not go out of the way to help. The breakfast was also for the 3-star hotel, not much to choose from. The restaurant manager, though did go out of his way trying to satisfy the customers. Outside of the hotel, there is a major construction, that makes it difficult to arrive with the luggage close enough for someone to come and help. Nobody warned me at the time of booking, that this will be the case. There are definitely better choices available for that price. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.
- salehaY4976JF (8/5): Good hotel but the Reception Manager Fedor needs to be friendly to guests - The rooms are comfortable, good breakfast and great lobby. But the Reception Manager Fedor was arrogant and rude every time I asked for something. The girl Mamura at Breakfast was pleasant and great. Overall, it was a good experience but they need to train the Reception staff well.
- polinar599 (4/5): This stay has spoiled my impressions of Moscow - I’m traveling from London Was looking for a 4-5 star hotel with spa. Reception is unfriendly and may I say unprofessional, fist they summoned that there was no reservation, then that the payment hasn’t gone through, yet all they needed to do is to stay focused and not rush to the conclusions in front of the customer. Breakfast in the restaurant is below average, poorly laid out. Sirniki and sausages disappointed. I have decided to opt for breakfast in a bar, yet again, I was disappointed: instead of the English muffin I got a white toast (without options). My massage in the spa was performed by a lovely English speaking Philippino, unfortunately the aromatherapy has never happened, he just done a relaxing massage, I have reminded him about my order but he skipped on that, also the receptionist acknowledged my observation but hasn’t even apologized and of course charged for the extra service that was ordered but hasn’t even apologized never been provided! The bar staff told me his unhappy life story:(, although the Tunisian bar supervisor hasn’t disappointed-he’s been extremely friendly and professional. No cotton discs or buds in the rooms. I haven’t tried hard to spot a few long black hairs on the carpet and in the shower (I’m blonde), tiles in the shower are discolored, need cleaning; towels are getting thin with age. The front door of this grand hotel is also grand and heavy with noone to help an 8-stone lady to open it, however there’s a security personnel pointlessly checking you out with the stair every time you walk along the hall. I’ve felt intimidated when an unwelcome gentleman offered to escort him to his room in the spa, yet there was no security guard there for me to report this unwelcome incident! No later then that very evening have I seen that gentleman having a strange lady rushing after him towards the hotel lift. Male entertainment leaflets at reception-no family ideas. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family.

- Y1517UAalim (2/5): I do not recommend this hotel - I stayed in this hotel for three nights with my family, the room was ordinary and old, the cooling system did not work, the hotel did not provide any services, the staff was arrogant and very dry, the atmosphere was cold and soulless, I do not recommend it at all
- atonline (4/5): The service lady in the executive lounge got an attitude and only provide service to those speak Russian - The executive lounge staff do speak good English but the service is apparently not as good. As I received limited service, they are really attentive to those who speak Russian. I am definitely sure there is no communication issue but they got an attitude. I stayed here last year and had a good time but got a totally different experience this stay. Aside from the executive lounge, no one helps with my luggage at the lobby until I go to the luggage man after check-in. Now to cleanliness! They kept all surfaces and furniture very clean. Just one very little problem: Hand-towels had some stains on them (perhaps they are just very old and couldn't be washed anymore - therefore should be replaced). And another sign of oldness is barely-barely seen but big-old stain on carpet in the bedroom next to beds. This stain is almost unseen and we just have very good eyes. Not many people would even notice it - I'm sure of that! Some barely seen stains were seen on walls too. We know that these things can't be washed - this is just hotel getting old. All of this just adds sadness, but no inconveniences at all! The most important for us were not hand-towels (which could be replaced) or carpets or walls (which couldn't be noticed by 90% of visitors), but other things and they were all clean: 1. Beds and pillows were CLEAN! 2. House coats were CLEAN! 3. All furniture and surfaces were CLEAN! Hotel was generally very clean and there were no signs of bad smells or anything like that!! We chose building for it's amazing, great, authentic architecture and we got what we wanted!! We will have a very good memories about this place!! We enjoyed staying very much!! - Raquel (2/5): - My experience there was disgusting. Never going there anymore. I got surprised when I left my room to breakfast hall and just saw a letter saying that “due technical issues they would need to check my docs again”. Because one day before at check in, the receptionist said that I was probably ilegal in the country and for that my checkin couldn’t be done. I felt humiliated. I’m living in Vladivostok since 2018, I am a medical student and have a valid students visa. But he looked only to my immigration card (the one we receive when entering in the country and should register an address after 3 days to get a doc called registration) I showed my valid registration and finished the check in. The things is: only my visa is enough to do the procedure. In the morning When was leaving to have breakfast I got my keys blocked and after reading that letter, I went to the reception and another guy just checked and everything was okay. Going to breakfast hall a woman asked me to go Urgently to the reception. Again humiliated in there because they didn’t communicate between them. I said I was just coming from there and solved the issue. I felt really humiliated and asking myself all the time how can the staff members of Hilton just don’t know about basic check in skills and guests documents. Really disappointed.

- MUHAMMET TARIK (2/5): Bad Service - It was not my first stay here but this will be last one. First of all, reservation office was not supportive in terms of Voucher document for visa application. During my stay, they opened door after 1 knock and then attempted to get in at 9 am to check whether if I used minibar. Luckily door was locked. The other night room service knock the door at 10 pm, to clean the room.

It was on the 19th floor with a view that went on for 20 miles. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. I definitely would stay there again.

Так вот, почитайте сами свое Постановление Правительства РФ от 09.10.2015 N 1085 (ред. от 18.07.2019) "Об утверждении Правил предоставления гостиничных услуг в Российской Федерации", п. 19, где чёрным по белому написано, что по загранпаспорту МОЖНО заселять, если лицо находится на постояннои проживании за границей. Позор! Отношение персонала и сервис не соответствует ценам!
- Oleg (6/5): This is not the level you expect from Hilton - Average check-in times are very long. They didn't even want to check me at first even though I paid 4-night in full! Suit didn't have either toothbrush or razor set on my first night, so I had to run to the nearest supermarket to buy one. The suit didn't have cup for toothbrushes, so obviously my toothbrush was rubbed against all surfaces when toilet was cleaned. Also, sink was blocked d and didn't drain well. Another thing is that spoons obviously are not washef but merely wiped with used towel obviously. Because I saw a spoon with traces of yoghurt I had in the morning on it! Very unpleasant feeling. At least they change towels everyday though I hanged it according to their green policies in order to reuse, but still they changed it. Also, during breakfast a girl ran into our table and insisted to pay NOW instead of after the breakfast or upon check out. Seriously?! This is not the level of service you expect from a 5-star hotel like Hilton. Very disappointed

I was given a room with some efforts at the front desk but when I entered into room to my surprise it was quite substandard amenity room in comparison to my previous stays with the same hotel. I was really surprised seeing the difference between rooms given to the hotel.com booking. my conclusion, if you get a cheaper rate you expect substandard things in offer.

We only had one night before catching the Sapsan Train to St Petersburg - this hotel is ideally located for that purpose as you can easily walk across the road to the station even with baggage. The hotel was beautifully presented, the young man on the reception desk was excellent, friendly and helpful. The room had a nice outlook, spacious bathroom and separate desk area, it was very comfortable overall. The breakfast you must not miss, it was excellent in selection, freshness and taste. Cannot think of any negatives.

- vasilyec (4/5): Hotel that doesn't care about its paying guests - I was going to spend a weekend in Moscow and needed a place to stay for 1 night on Apr 21, 2018: the price was good, reviews were great and the location was perfect: just 5 min away from Leningradsky train station. However, when I arrived there, I was refused to be checked in as I didn't have my Original migration card with me. I left it in St Petersburg where I stayed for 2 weeks, as this requirement was mentioned neither on Hilton's nor on Expedia's websites. Any suggestions to provide an electronic copy was refused as they insisted they did need to see Original document. The staff, although polite, bluntly refused to provide any alternative solution for my situation and simply showed me the door. They, however, promised to refund my payment (already received by Hilton). As a result, I had to cancel all my Sunday's appointments and to exchange my train ticket for the one on Saturday's return train to St Petersburg. The next day I received an e-mail from Expedia saying that HIlton refused to return my money as my booking was "non-refundable" (although it wasn't me who cancelled it). Expedia contacted this hotel trying to talk some sense into them, but they were adamant: no refund. Expedia was gracious enough to refund my money which I very appreciated. Needless to say that I won't return to Hilton Moscow nor would I recommend anyone to stay there: they won't be there for you in case you get into difficult/unfortunate situation in a foreign country/unfamiliar city.
- Mary-Anne (8/5): Historic building, good location - Situated in the smallest of Stalin’s seven sisters the hotel offers a typical Hilton experience with Russian hospitality. It’s well located close to the metro which makes getting to all the major sights easy and the stations to St Petersburg, Kazan and where the Trans siberian departs are clustered together across the road from the hotel. I found lots of good cafes and shops close by. The pool and sauna area is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are large but I found the bed and pillows uncomfortable and the room temperature was too hot and I was not able to get the air conditioning to work. The large windows open which is good for cooling but it’s too noisy to keep them open and I think rather dangerous to allow them to open at this height. Room service was excellent quality and delivered with friendly, efficient service.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Made a last minute decision to change our reservation to the Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya after our overnight flight from Moscow, only a few blocks from the Leningradskaya Station where we were boarding the train to St. Petersburg the following morning. Our initial hotel was nowhere as close to the station as we had been led to believe. The change was worth it in every way imaginable.
- PICHAI (8/5): understandard of HILTON - I stay four nights.. under standard of HILTON, e.g. I drink coffee in the room, next day, the mate didn't replace the coffee the tooth brush, that we had asked for, were poor quality, then we had to ask for the tooth brush every day some day, there was only one towel in the room, (we booked double room for two people)
- Thomas (10/5): A memorable stay - This is a very special hotel, located in one of Stalin’s ‘seven sisters’ (built from 1947 to showcase Soviet power post WW2). Everything, from the grand yet ambient lobby, to the brilliantly appointed rooms, cannot be faulted. Staff were unfailingly polite and attentive yet not intrusive. My room was on the 18th floor and overlooked the main square, with the equally historic Komsomolskaya metro station below. The hotel’s facilities are a lovely balance between comfort and class; everything from the spa to impeccable room service was perfect. Thanks for everything, I will be back.

- Maryjane Kathlyn (6/5): Receptionist service needs improvement - I'm quite disappointed with the receptionists in charge during our stay. I have to wait for 20 mins just for check in on 2 Jan around 8 pm. There were only 2 receptionist on duty, one of them is constantly on the line and the other seems to have a difficult customer. The female receptionist on the phone (don't recall her name) finally finished after 20 mins and processed my check in. I asked her to register my visa and she said it will be ready in the morning. She didn't inform where the elevator to the room is. However, the concierge is very attentive and helped us with our bags. The next morning, another receptionist is on duty (Natalya). I asked for my visa registration, she checked and said it will be ready in the afternoon. I informed her I must go to airport at 2 pm. When I returned near 2 pm, there was a long queue at both receptionist desk. I asked Natalya and she said they have not registered my visa. I was very disappointed with this since I mentioned I need to go to airport and she promised it'll be ready in the afternoon. She asked for our passports and it takes almost 30 mins to register our visa. We were almost late for our flight, thanks to the slow service from Hilton. We stayed at 3 US chain hotels during our trip (Holiday Inn, Mercure, Hilton) and Hilton has the worst service here. The hotel is near 2 big railway stations, Kazanskaya & Leningradsky. Kazanskaya exit is best and nearest. Room is clean and comfy but old style. No good food nearby.

- Wilton (10/5): From Stalin to Hilton - Spectacular ritzy semi-kitschy Stalinist skyscraper turned luxury hotel. Convenient for the St. Petersburg-commuting crowd, right next to the station. Only complaint is the bar didn't have the imaginative, trendy cocktails one might expect from a four-star; cocktails (I had invited friends over before we went out) were pricey, limited in scope, and what you'd get anywhere. The bartender was a charmer, though.

Rooms are noisy from the trains passing by it. Some staff were very helpful but most seemed indifferent to the guests. Rooms lacked basic amenities.

- GregM (10/5): Hilton Leningradskaya - a nice place to stay - This is a second time I stayed in Hilton Leningradskaya. I stayed for couple days. Both times I had consistently good experience. I can definitely recommend it.

- Gregory (10/5): - It was very good experience. Hotel in old historical building. Interior is a museum level. Located 5 min walking to metro station Komsomolskaya and three major railway stations. I ended up in the situation with late flights, changing arrival schedule, etc. I talked via email to hotel stuff quite a bit last 24 hours before arrival. They replying immediately, almost real time. Hotel personal was very accommodating to my needs and situation and helpful. I can definitely recommend it especially to business visitors like myself. Tourists should will be happy too.
- Robert (4/5): For those who seek the "Shining" movie atmosphere! - Booked room King Bed deluxe was only available as handicapped room with handicapped bathroom complimenting the overall sanatory atmosphere of the hotel. Used to be a smoker´s room still with penetrative, smell of smoke. After complaint only twin deluxe room was offered with no compensation or upgrading for that inconveniance. Friendly staff at the reception but that´s it. Long shabby corridors remind of Timberline Lodge of "Shining" movie. Never again.

- Tony (8/5): Grand Stalin era hotel close to the Metro - The hotel is one of the seven Stalin monoliths and well located to a number of train stations and the Metro. It is about two miles from Red Square/Kremlin so you have to catch the Metro - there are no tourist sights in the immediate vicinity. Very comfortable hotel with a good health club and pool. Only slight negative was that the tea/coffee provisions in the room were very basic (only two milks per day) and the soap was not replaced so the single bar we got on check in was finished the second morning. Did not have time to eat at the hotel so cannot comment on food. Would stay there again.

- paul (4/5): Avoid the concierge - Hotel well located if you want to catch a train but far from the city center if your a tourist. Also no Food options around the hotel. Rooms are large but sterile. Bed is comfortable. Hotel sort of grand but clinical The rooms are noisy and you hear the traffic and rumbling of the trains. The concierge is not transparent or helpful. Quite dismissive. He will also help you find the most expensive tickets in town for your travel or entertainment. Stay away Definitely wouldn't stay again. Try the metropol if your budget allows.

It is also just 5min walk away from its nearest metro station although it is not near the major tourist venues such as Red Square. The gym is very decent by hotel standards, breakfast spread was good, and hotel staff were generally in line with what one expects of Hilton.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Sneaky bottled water scam. - Far from major attractions..no public buses nearby..taxi will cost over $20 to go to the Kremlin Breakfast is 1700 rubles...totally insane price. Sneaky scam with bottled water beside kettle...it is part of the minibar and is not free for use....it will cost you 4 Dollars if you use it to make coffee or tea...but you are not told that until you check out.Expensive water,eh!!! Any rooms overlooking the streets are noisy at all hours even with the windows closed. There are 2 train stations across the street from each other at the hotel..make sure that you go to the right one. There are other choices closer to the major sites.

- Alexander (10/5): Excellent Hotel! - It's a great hotel! The staff is friendly and professional. The check-in was fast with the help of Grigoriy at front desk. My room was on the 17th floor with a great view of Mosccow. I never waited for the elevator more than 10 - 20 seconds. The room was very good and very clean. The king size bed was very comfortable. The hotel has a sauna and a pool with quite warm water. The hotel is located near 3 main train stations and 2 subway staions. It will take you only some 10 minutes to get to Red square, Kremlin, etc. It was not my first stay at the hotel and I'll definitely come back again!
