• Ilana (9/5): Would definitely stay here again, especially in room 2. - The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spacious. Our room (2) had access to an outdoor area which was wonderful! The hotel management was very accommodating when I told them my requests for a ground-floor room (because there's no elevator). The carpet was a little drab and old.

• dafna (4/5): Awful - The staff was very helpful and nice , they helped in whatever they could The stairs are VERY steep almost impossible to lift a luggage by yourself There was mold above the wardrobe, the towels were dirt with holes , the floor was dirty, the mattress was so soft you felt the iron bed frame underneath and the shower curtain was filled with mildew And the worst part was the smell , the bathroom smelt like sewage do not recommend this place at all specially with those prices

There were stains on bedsheets, lipstick on one of the glasses, the water pressure is non-existent in the shower, and what looks like p**p on the balcony. That's probably why it was the cheapest option in town.

• Ellie (8/5): Lovely hotel in a good location with easy access to the main areas via public transport. - When we first arrived we were slightly early but the staff were able to hold our bags while we went and explored for a bit. When we arrived to check in properly they had already taken our bags up to our room which was lovely. The room was bigger than expected, had a very nice view and was comfortable enough. It was clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Slight drain smell in the bathroom but not a big issue and the stairs were quite steep and narrow like most places in Amsterdam.

Fácil acesso de transporte publico para o centro de Amsterdã e atrações turísticas. Limpeza do quarto e banheiro impecável. Somente as escadas são um ponto negativo, pois tem degraus bem estreitos. Por isso, podem ser ruins para pessoas com dificuldade de mobilidade.

• Canan (6/5): Bir daha asla kalmayacağım bir oteldi. - Yeri ve konumu çok iyiydi. Tüm turistik yerlere giden tramvayın geçtiği durak neredeyse önündeydi. Çok güzel bir sokaktaydı. Vondelpark a da çok yakındı. Havaalanı otobüsleri de çok yakınından geçiyordu. Asansör yok, odalar çok küçük, eşyalar eskiydi. Mini buzdolabı bile yoktu. Banyoda sabun ve şampuan dışında başka hiçbir malzeme yoktu. Odalar çok bakımsızdı. Üstelik ilk kaldığımız oda daha da kötü olduğu için odayı değiştirdik. Taşınma sırasında ilk odada kalan pijamalarımı sorduğumda hauskiperlar bulduysa da atmıştır dediler. İlk defa böyle bir şeyle karşılaştık.

• Marie Odile Caroline (7/5): I’ll be back 😊 - The staff were excellent. Very sweet, kind and helpful young ladies at reception. Very good, comfortable king size bed on the ground floor, looking out onto the garden, we could hear the birds singing in the garden in the morning. The coffee/breakfast room was also nice, we had several cappuccino and expresso coffees which were complimentary. Some maintenance is required. Only small things which need attention like peeling wallpaper and some mould in the shower, some stains on the carpet and little paint touch-ups which would make a difference to the overall presentation of the hotel. However, these are easily fixable and it was more important to me to have a secure, safe, warm place to stay so I would definitely return.

• Traveller4Life (8/5): Betaalbare vondst in Amsterdam - Geweldige locatie, mooie sfeervolle buurt. Ruime kamer. Goed bereikbaar met tram, rijksmuseum op loopafstand. Gezellige restaurants en supermarkt in de buurt. Voor Amsterdam erg vriendelijk geprijsd. Beetje verouderd hotel, heeft wel z'n charme, maar zal niet iedereen op prijs stellen. Erg steile trap naar de 2e etage. Voor mij geen probleem, maar niet goed toegankelijk voor iedereen. Batterijen van de afstandsbediening van de televisie waren leeg, gelukkig zaten er knopjes op.

• Angela (7/5): - The location is excellent. The walk though Vondelpark that separates you from the center of the city is a great way to unwind after a day at the museums. And you are also quite close to the Zuid business district if you are mixing pleasure & work. The amenities in the room are dated. Our room had only one functioning bedside lamp, the water pressure in the shower was abysmal, the wardrobe door had a broken hinge and a strongly embedded smell of cigarettes left over from years of being used as a not non-smoking room.

• olimpia (7/5): Rilassante e piacevole - La posizione ottimale, per chi ama camminare come me è perfetta perche si raggiunge il centro attraversando il parco, in alternativa c'è il tram a pochi passi dalla struttura che ti collega dappertutto. I ragazzi della reception fantastici, sempre a disposizione con estrema gentilezza. Mi hanno addirittura aiutato a trovare il parcheggio piu economico in centro. Fantastici, grazie ragazzi !!!! La struttura è fatiscente e pertanto difficile da tenere pulita almeno lo stretto necessario. Le scale di moquette sporchissime e trasandate, anche se le amavo perche in perfetto stile olandese, strette e ripide! Nelle mia camera, che tra l'altro era ristrutturate perche sia i mobili del letto che del bagno erano nuovi, è stata messa la moquette sopra ad un pavimento probabilmente sfondato, quando uscivo dal bagno in un punto affondavo. Un peccato perche per la posizione e la gestione sono ottimali.

Big plus is you can leave your luggage before check-in and after check-out. The stairs are steep so you need to be careful. I would definitely come back.

• Timo (8/5): T&M tulppaanimatka - Hyvä sijainti rauhallisella alueella Vondelpark puiston lähellä. Ratikkapysäkki keskustaan likellä, samoin kahvila ja leipomo. Jumbo supermarket parin korttelin päässä. Vastaanotossa hyvin avulias henkilö, joka mielellään auttoi kysymyksissä. Taksipalvelu lentokentälle toimi erinomaisesti. Huone oli tilavahko ja vedenkeitin auttoi aamupalan suhteen. Koske hotellilla ei ole omaa ravintolaa aamupalaa varten niin huoneessa kaipasi pientä jääkaappia. Wc ssä ei bidee suihkua. Ripustuskoukkuja mm. pyyhkeille olisi saanut olla enemmän. Wc n oskarinoksassa ehjänä vain yksi.

Une tres bonne boulangerie à proximité et une petite sandwicherie qui faisait des bons cafés à un prix correcte 2,5 avec 2 ou 3 tables dehors. chambre 11 située tout en haut avec un escalier du 1er étage au 2ème hyper raide avec des sacs de ciment sur le palier (pas top). Dans la chambre se trouvait un ancien local technique (bof) .... On n 'a pas pu se servir de la télévision car les piles de la télécommande devaient être mortes donc on l a allumée depuis l'écran et impossible donc de changer de chaines.... on ne l'a donc pas utilisée. On n 'est pas là pour regarder la télé mais quand même.... Peu de contact avec le personnel.

Ho fatto presente alla reception ma la ragazza ha detto che le camere sono uguali.... non è assolutamente vero pulizia, più onestà sulle dimensioni delle camere

• ANDREU (7/5): Funcional i res més en un hotel que no recordarem en el futur - La seva ubicació i disposar d'una parada de tramvia just al costat. També em va agradar la comoditat del llit i que l'habitació estava prou neta. Les fotos de la web mostren un hotel més ben conservat i en millors condicions que el que ens hem trobat. Les escales fins la planta 2ª són, fins i tot, perilloses. La recepció fa un horari molt reduït. L'habitació és antiga amb petites reformes que sembla s'han fet en diferents èpoques. Bany complert però tot és molt antic. En aquests casos, que hi hagi moqueta al terra no ajuda a que sembli més net i et sentis còmode de caminar per l'habitació. Si bé vàrem dormir bé, se sent molt a la gent quan puja l'escala, camina per els passadissos i obre i tanca les portes. Un preu molt elevat per la qualitat de l'establiment.

• Frank (8/5): Für eine kurze Zeit, der Stadtbesichtigungen, klasse. - Es erfolgte ein freundlicher Empfang. Frühstück gab es nicht in diesem Hotel, aber man konnte sich Tee und Kaffee selber machen. Auch wenn man Esssachen zum Frühstück mit brachte, war die Möglichkeit gegeben, selber etwas zu fertigen. Angenehm war, dass es ein ruhiges Zimmer war und somit, mit geöffneten Fenster schlafen konnte. Positiv war auch, dass Preis Leistungsgefälle. Die Anfahrt bzw. die Fahrt mit der Tram ist optimal. Es gab so einiges, was besser sein könnte, aber hier sollte man an den Preis denken.

• Pedro (10/5): Bon rapport qualité prix à Amsterdam - L’emplacement. On peut faire tout à pied et à côté du Vondelpark. La bienveillance du staff. Les chambres sont trop petite et les escaliers trop serrés et incliné. Pour une personne plus âgé ou avec la mobilité réduite c’est n’est pas possible.

Stanza piccolina e non c’è l’ascensore ma ad Amsterdam le strutture sono la maggior parte così, con scale alte e strette.

• Matthew (10/5): Excellent hotel in a great location with the best staff. - Great location in a quiet neighborhood with nice cafes close by. The no. 2 tram line was right there which takes you everywhere you’d wanna go. The staff was super friendly and always very helpful. Would stay there again for sure. Nothing

• Marijana (4/5): Ok for short stays, if you are in shape.. - The property is close to the city centre. It is clean and in a very nice part of Amsterdam. Steep and very narrow stairs, room is very very small, there is no space to open your suitcase, and the bathroom doesn’t have a place to shower, it’s “all in one”

• Linda (7/5): Personale cordiale ma scarsa pulizia in camera - Personale cordiale, ci ha dato le indicazioni per il late check in Il bagno con la tenda in doccia, scarsa pulizia Scale molto ripide, consiglio a chi ha problemi a camminare di farsi mettere al piano terra

• Mercedes (5/5): Hotel costoso, camas incomodas, mucho ruido proveniente de la calle, pero buena ubicacion - Excelente ubicacion, cerca del tram y del Vondelpark La habitacion estaba en planta baja y daba directamente a la calle donde pasa el tram. Las ventanas no son suficientemente gruesas para parar el ruido. También, nuestra habitacion estaba pegada a la puerta de entrada y a la recepcion por lo cual cada vez que alguien ingresaba al hotel se escuchaba la puerta, los pasos, la gente hablar, etc. Un olor horrible a podrido salia de la ducha, no podiamos dejar la puerta del bano abierta y mismo cerrada se infiltraba a la habitacion. Pedimos que nos cambien de habitacion al otro dia, habia solo una disponible pero no era con cama doble y el tamano de la habitacion era mucho mas chico. Ahora estabamos como en un tercer piso, dando hacia la calle tambien. Habia menos ruido pero igualmente las ventanas eran viejas y se escuchaba el ruido del tram y de los autos. Lo gracioso es que en ambas habitaciones, el hotel pone a disposicion tapones para lo oidos, por lo cual saben que hay un problema con el ruido ! Las camas no son comodas, los colchones y las almohadas parecen viejos ! Es hora de invertir un poco :)
• Ronit (8/5): Clean and comfortable - The staff was lovely, the beds super comfortable, the rooms and building very clean and well-maintained. The stairs are steep and small - I'm putting this as a positive, for the Amsterdam experience :), but I would stay here only if you have small luggage. My room was facing the street, so it got traffic/trolley noise. If this bothers you, I would check that you can get a room facing away from the street.
