• EDWIN (6/5): - The property is ok for the price paid. We booked 2 rooms. Rooms are spacious. Our biggest complaint is that our beds are toooo low. It’s about 1 ruler above the floor AND are so uncomfortable. Waking up with body aches is NOT good when you’re in vacation. Breakfast is sufficient (not too may options) staff are NOT the best but NOT the worst either. Great view of the Parthenon on roof top of the hotel. Property is close to Hop on Hop off stop A13.
• paul (4/5): - People at the front desk were extremely rude!! Very confrontational. Rooms were ok but sheets were not changed. Breakfast was very poor we skipped it both mornings. Just a very bad experience especially the front desk. Need lessons in customer service and hospitality.
• William Paul (6/5): - Breakfast was good! Nice fresh fruits and veggies along with scrambled eggs and sausages. Pastries too. Room was not good, hard mattress with stains on linen, greek only television programming and view was the back of the building. I didn't find the staff friendly - not sure if that's because of a language barrier? Also, I was told they aren't receptive to tourists and their political system and economy is in shambles. The city is a mess with graffiti everywhere and dirty smells on the streets. However, on a more positive note, there were numerous greek restaurants and little street corner stores. As well, it's located just around the corner from the number 13 stop for hop on hop off Athens route bus. Not sure if I would return?🤔
• Mary (8/5): - Hotel and room overall were great and spacious for our carryons and backpacks. Location close to main attractions by walking 15-30mins. But surrounding neighborhoods and small side streets at night were a bit iffy for walking around. Sticking to the main roads felt safer.

Their WIFI connection was sucks . this hotel staff didn’t care of customers needs .plz Avoid this hotel and i suggest plz avoid 3 stars hotels in Europe.
• Joel (8/5): - This place was great for a complacent and picky at the same time traveler like myself. Check in was at 2am for me and it wasnt a problem at all. Room was nice, had a balcony with a view to the acropolis, the bar on the roof has a gorgeous view of it, and a sunset over the city as well. Internet works well. Pillows and blankets great. Shower great, all the good stuff. Only complaint is the damn cigarette smokers but what can ya do? Dont let that deter you, its a great hotel.

Not a lot of choice at the breakfast buffet, but enough to get you going for the day. Room was not very modern but big and clean.

Other than taxes and fees, we paid the 10Euro government city fees in the US in advance and have document, but they still charged us for it.

Room had a great view from balcony and provided soap, shower cap & small tolietries. Good sized room with twin beds and 2 good mirrors. Although located on a busy street room was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast provided and had lots of good choices. Front desk staff was helpful.
• gordon (8/5): good value and nice staff. - We have stayed at the Apollo previously. We enjoy the location and staff. All of the workers are so friendly and kind. This is a no-frills hotel, but everything worked fine, including lots of hot water. The breakfast, while modest, was a nice bonus. Since Apollo is on a busy road at a large roundabout, some might find it to be loud, but I enjoy the energy and sounds of Athens when at the Apollo. The local neighbourhood has lovely bakeries and cafes and shops.

• Timothy Melvin (6/5): - What I liked: The hotel is conveniently located near bus stops and the metro station. There is a very nice traditional Greek breakfast served free each morning. There are small markets and several restaurants and food stands nearby. There is a small fridge in the room. What I did not like: It's on a very noisy busy street, however the soundproof balcony doors do a great job of suppressing the sound for sleeping. There were ants in my bathroom sink everyday but the room and bathroom were kept relatively clean. The water temperature fluctuated a lot while showering so it was very annoying having to frequently adjust it.

• Emma (8/5): - This is a very good three star hotel. Area is a little rough but we were in and out of the hotel a lot and never had any problems. Staff were helpful and friendly. Housekeeping came everyday with clean towels and did a good job and the breakfast was much better than expected with lots of variety and staff worked hard to keep the breakfast area neat and well stocked as some days were very busy ( we stayed four nights) The hotel is close to the metro line ( we’re from the uk and found this hard to navigate ) public buses and something we highly recommend for value is the hop on and of tourist bus a mere three minute walk away from the hotel to the bus stop and such good value.of course being close to transport means traffic! Luckily the rooms are triple glazed. Also conveniently located a three minute walk away is the bread factory. Great for treats and snacks. We had a strawberry slushie every day as it was so hot during our visit. One of the best points of the hotel is the rooftop bar with it stunning view of the Acropolis. They could do with better lighting on the stairway up to it though.

• Gary (8/5): Convenient and simple hotel - Comfortable room with few amenities. Bedside outlets made charging cell phone convenient. Management were friendly and accommodating in changing our room to a balcony. Breakfast was simple but quite adequate.
• Pedro (2/5): - Good location. But, bathroom was very old, with no hangers for towels, and other personal items. No AC for half day. It was very hot. Had to leave to another hotel. Very disappointed.

Helped us figure out a way to the airport even with a transportation strike 5/5 The hotel room shower head was broken and there were clumps of hair in our bed. Was very loud during the night from people in hallway talking and traffic. The lights were all different shades of bulbs. The area the hotel is in is incredibly unsafe and has lots of illegal activity going on. A police man told us while walking home that it is a very unsafe place to stay for women. The front desk assistant however made the stay worth it as he was absolutely wonderful

Hotel is dated, tired and very dull, and constantly smelt of cigarette smoke, the bathroom was very basic, the balcony only has 1 chair as it was so small. Breakfast was ok but no bread or toaster. Wouldn't stay here again as it was also very noisy from the road

• Carlina (8/5): - Apollo Hotel is a basic hotel with all the amenities needed for a short stay in Athens. The breakfast options are small but tasty, the location is close to the train station and there is a nice view of the acropolis from the higher floors. If you stay here you could consider catching the train to the city centre, however there are still many nice restaurants nearby.
• Anastasiia (6/5): - The Amenities in the room are only two towels and shower gel with soap, there is no kettle, no water , no bath rug was a bit disappointed by that. My room was on first floor from my window I could see other hotel wall, the noise from downstairs the kitchen is very strong especially in the morning during breakfast and overall you can hear everything which is disturbing the sleep. While booking on hotels.com was written free room upgrade however there was nothing done and stuff told me that I will not get it. The location is very poor, streets are dirty not the safest place but it’s not far from metro and the touristic places

Advertised as having a roof top bar, but this wasn't available for our stay. Balcony only fits one person on it. Only 3 coat hangers between 2 of us for 2 days! Thank goodness for The Bread Factory on the next corner, and for another hotel up the road, which allowed us to enjoy their roof top bar!!!

The hotel itself was very clean, great breakfast buffet offered. The friendliness of staff was a 50/50, the only thing that really needs improvement are the beds, so hard it’s like sleeping on the floor.

The breakfast hour is an enjoyable experience. Management is friendly and attentive. The cable service includes the BBC and the internet in the lobby is a welcome amenity. I have stayed here numerous times and I am happy to recommend this hotel.

• Tomas (8/5): Long weekend in Athen for five nights. - One really good budget hotel with helpful staff. Breakfast maybe could change options a little exactly same every morning. Good soundproofing towards street with doubles windows. But no soundproof inside so you can hear neighbors and people outside corridor to much, was the only downside of our stay. Also two chairs on balcony could be nice.... But happy anyway to return on ours next trip to Athen.

First of all, the hotel is located at in the center of island and no matter where you decide to go, you can reach the destination in 20 minutes. I recommend getting ATV for driving around, it is a wonderful joy to ride it around island. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful from the very first day we arrived. They allowed us to check in early and our suitcases were kept at the reception few hours after check out (before our flight) while we were visiting around. Breakfast was good, toast sandwiches were my favorite. Also, there are many greek traditional restaurants around. I rate this place 10/10
