The metro station (M1) is only a few minutes away, and iconic landmarks such as the Acropolis of Athens, Ancient Agora of Athens, and the Acropolis Museum are all within walking distance. The area is quiet and pedestrian-friendly. It’s also very close to Monastiraki Square, with plenty of lovely rooftop bars offering stunning illuminated views of the Acropolis at night. Breakfast: basic but enough options. Price: good. Friendly staff. The shower cubicle was quite old and didn’t close properly. Tea and coffee were provided in the room on the first day, but on the following days we had to go downstairs and ask for replenishments. The bed was also not very comfortable.

• Luis (6/5): Os quartos sem janelas são absolutamente ruidosos e faltam cuidados básicos no mobiliário - A localização é fantástica. Fiquei num piso subterrâneo. Eu sabia que não tinha janelas e eles avisam recorrentemente, não fui surpreendido por isso. O que não avisam é que é colado a uma despensa que é acedida pelo pessoal de madrugada, fazendo barulho constante, que tem um respirador direto para essa despensa por onde entra luz, que a WC não tem onde colocar as toalhas ou qualquer bolsa com as nossas coisas, que só tem uma mesa de cabeceira com um candeeiro cuja forma de desligar é apenas desligando da tomada. O ruído da recepção, com o telefone a tirar a horas tardias e o barulho da sala de refeições, aquando da colocação da loiça nas mesas para o pequeno-almoço, são outras fontes de descuido que desencorajam o regresso. Há uma despreocupação desconcertante com um quarto que tem uma desvantagem clara e comunicada, mas que soma desvantagens inesperadas, algumas bem simples de evitar.

• Nora S (7/5): 5 night stay - Clean hotel, great location. Breakfast was ok, it did what it needed to do. Loved the view from the hotel room. It was a little difficult to communicate with staff, except one of the receptionists due to the language barrier. But we managed, not a huge minus. A preference thing to keep in mind: the beds are hard. Also keep in mind if you're allergic to cats you may have a problem in the common area. Personally I loved the cats!

• Nimish (8/5): Good property for couple or single person - Our stay in Athens was pleasant overall and worked well for our trip. The biggest advantage is the location—very close to the iconic Acropolis of Athens, making sightseeing convenient. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and even a supermarket within walking distance, which is a great plus for tourists and families. The staff were very helpful, polite, and always ready to assist with any queries or support needed, which made the stay smooth and comfortable. Overall, a good property mainly because of its excellent location and supportive staff. The only drawback was the room size. For families, especially with an extra bed for kids, space becomes quite limited and a bit cramped.

• Sasa (5/5): Room not as described – no real balcony, limited daylight, unsuitable for two adults - The room did not match the expectations based on the listing. Although described as having a balcony, there was no usable balcony, only a door with a barrier, and the entire view was blocked by a fixed awning, which significantly limited natural daylight and completely prevented any view of the sky. As a result, the room felt dark and enclosed, which was not clearly communicated in the description. Additionally, the bed was not suitable for two adults, despite the reservation being made for two people. The size and setup did not meet reasonable comfort standards for two adult guests. I documented these issues with photo and video evidence and shared them with both the property and Booking.com. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter, including providing medical documentation explaining why one guest could not travel, no compensation or adjustment was offered. Overall, the experience did not reflect the expectations set by the listing, and I would recommend future guests to carefully verify the exact room conditions before booking.

Stanza un po' piccola, probabilmente era da due invece noi eravamo in tre. Colazione gluten free (c'era solo pane da toast freddo. No brioches, no biscotti, no cereali).

• Tracey (9/5): - The location is nice and convenient. Room was small but clean and had all the items we requated. Rooms come with a nice sized balcony. We also liked the breakfast, ecent variety. The rooms are served with lift. We needed a late check out and they accomodated us. The only thing was the Internet connection was not stable, but if from EU you can use the plan fron your country.. The extra folding bed was not very comftable. The ceiling rope light was not working well.

Attention lorsque vous choisissez votre chambre dans cet hôtel, car vous risquez d'avoir la formule dite "économique" où vous vous retrouver au sous sol sans fenêtre. Pourtant au même prix que d'autres hôtels de meilleur qualité. Donc expérience désagréable avec bruit de ventilation permanent, odeur de cuisine, deco et équipements vieillots.

La habitación era pequeña para tres adultos y la cama supletoria era muy incómoda, los colchones estaban en mal estado y sucios. Lo dijimos en recepción pero no nos hicieron caso.

• Karima (9/5): Agréable et très bien situé - L'emplacement de l'hôtel est top à quelques minutes de marche de l'Acropole de l'Agora et de la prison de Socrate. Nombreux restaurants et nombreuses boutiques tout autour. Marchands de bijoux en bas de l'hôtel et tout au long de la rue jusqu'à la station de métro Thissio et de la rue commerçante. Personnel serviable et souriant. Balcon avec vu sur la rue passante qui fait ressortir l'atmosphère de la ville. Petite déjeuner basique qui n'a pas changé en 3 jours. Nous étions 3 et le lit d'appoint n'était pas des plus confortables! Il faudrait penser à avoir des matelas plus épais pour un meilleur confort. Le bruit, on entend les voisins discuter et rire et quand c'est à 2h du matin ce n'est pas l'idéal. La lumière reste allumée toute la nuit dans les balcons. Si vous préférez dormir dans le noir total, pensez à vous munir d'un masque pour les yeux.
