- Jason (10/5): Great Hotel for Moscow South - I got a free upgrade to a suit as indicated in the offer. The room was great and very large. All staff were friendly and helpful. Due to the current pandemic though some of the facilities were closed the most notable of which was the Piano bar. This was not a problem as the attached restaurant was open and served great food in addition to their own beer from the onsite microbrewery. This is not an ideal hotel for tourists as it is outside the center.
- speedbird7 (10/5): Good - Priviet , Had a short stay at Milan hotel , friendly front desk , excellent English language command, my room was on the 20 Th floor , room was neat , and well heated. Floor cleaning excellent, staff was polite, don’t forget to greet them with some Russian words, it would be appreciated . Next to the hotel, a big mall, every thing available there, make sure you know , where to look it for, as language could be an issue. Walking distance Domodedovo metro station, which takes you to the red square. I loved my visit , looking forward to go back again. Das Vidaniya.

Then I got disabled room as a bathtub price. The toilet is dirty.I think 4 star hotels shouldn't let customers get rooms like this.

- fuzarich (8/5): Flying out of Domodedovo - To me it’s the best place to stay if you are flying out of Domodedovo and need some rest. Easy access to the airport: it’s just aaaalll the way straight...)))...Rooms are clean and pretty. Soundproofing is quite alright. There is coffee machine in the room. Cost is little for what it offers. Staff is professional: they know how to accommodate dozens of guests with the smile on their face, you won’t wait for long in rush hour. They have hair salon on the ground floor. Also there is a restaurant next door which can be accessed from the lobby. The kitchen is very good there. Restaurant does delivery, waiting time was almost nothing. The separate menu of this restaurant you can find inside the room. There is huge mall right across the road and metro station in 5-10 minutes walking.

- speedbird7 (8/5): Nice stay - Landed in the morning, comparatively a short drive from the airport, in spite of the heavy snow showers. Hotel staff very friendly, and courteous, speaking few basic Russian words for greetings helps, to break the ice. Rooms, are spacious and nice,. An happening mall right next to the hotel, walking distance, nice food court, a lot of branded stuff, and believe me good stuff too. I think Russians are misunderstood, they are kind and compassionate people , well exceptions are everywhere. Looking forward for my next trip. By the way KFC is recommended inside the mall, I just loved it. Spaseeba.

- Nitroman (10/5): - I like this hotel so much i stayed a second time and would return again. Comfortable rooms, good price and convenient location out of town centre. I love their big all you can eat breakfasts which serve pretty much everything from croissants, to cereals to fresh cooked omlettes, sausages, fresh fruits, meats and smoked salmon, sweet cakes etc - all for about £10. The interior is also lovely, in fact Russian film crew used it to film national lottery tv advert and weddings also use the location for shoots. Grut Restaurant is attached and also pretty good - brews it's own beer but i preferred to walk up road to big shopping centre for my meals. Tea and coffee facilities included but shame no room safe for passport etc but can't have everything. Staff helpful and most speak good English. Ten minute walk from nearest Metro station with train direct to Moscow centre in 30 mins. I also appreciate the hotels complimentary free airport transfer to DMO, but sadly not SVO in the north of city. Highly recommended and great value for money.

Approx 15-20min walk from Hotel to subway. Nice restaurant attached to the Hotel. Shopping centres close by for getting supplies.

We downloaded Yandex taxi app and used cab services to go places, which was pretty fantastic. Hotel is very clean, room service is awesome, even my kid liked it! Will definitely stay there again.

- Jacqueline (8/5): First time stay, very satisfied - This was my first stay at the Hotel Milan. I chose it because of it's proximity to the Domodedovo (DME) airport and that I had a long layover on my arrival from the USA before I headed to Azerbaijan and new I was going to need some rest. It is a beautiful facility. The staff was very cordial and I was surprised by the comfort of the rooms. I got the rest I needed and was able to get to the airport in a timely fashion (20 minutes). On my return from Azerbaijan, I chose to reserve another night at the Hotel Milan (after my first successful stay) when I had a late arrival and an early morning departure via DME. I ate a local restaurant with friends and returned to the hotel bar for a drink to wind down before bed. Nik was accommodating with my request and I enjoyed a pleasant conversations with some other English speakers in town for business. The Hotel Milan offers a free morning shuttle to the airport which is extremely convenient. The shuttle was very comfortable and spacious as well. I will continue to come back to the Hotel Milan on my future visits to Moscow, especially if I'm there on a limited timeframe.

- Ian (8/5): Nice Hotel - We stayed overnight between flights. The hotel is a great hotel for one night stays unless you are doing business in the area. It is quite a distance from Domodedovo Airport and still a fair way from downtown Moscow. Overall though we enjoyed our very brief stay there..even though it was for transit.
- stuart (8/5): Nice but could be great - We enjoyed our stay at the Milan Hotel. The only drawbacks to this hotel are that the shuttle service is not available for flights before mid morning. Also, there is no ģood hot breakfast available before 7am. Which means early morning fliers only get coffee and a cold crusant.

Good breakfast, if you need quiet from the honking street you need to be above the 10th floor on rooms with even numbers. Shopping center across the street with a variety of food and a salad bar. Metro in the vicinity. Enjoy!

- Olga (10/5): Very nice hotel for overnight layover - When my wife and I fly to her hometown in southern Russia, we always have a 1 night layover. This is our hotel of choice. It is located on the edge of Moscow between Domodedovo (DME) and Vnukovo (VKO) airports and offers free morning shuttles to DME (not sure about VKO). It is a 10 minute walk east to the metro which will take you anywhere in Moscow. The hotel itself is quite nice. A very elegant white lobby with the piano bar and restaurant visible above and to the left of the entrance. To the right of the entrance is the entry way to the Inter Milan Restaurant and Sports Bar themed after the Italian futbol team. Lots of tv's with various sports on, and they even have their own brewery. The duck they serve is amaing! They also offer 24 hour room service. The rooms are very nice and clean. The bathrooms are spacious and the water was very consistent every time. With the lack of other tall buildings nearby, a room at the top facing the west has the best view. The only drawback to this hotel is the neighborhood. There is a nice mall 200 meters away with many shops, a grocery store, food court, and theatre. Besides that, there just isn't much to do in this area, but still, only 10 minutes walk to the metro. Overall this hotel is much nicer and incredibly cheaper than the hotels closer to the center of Moscow. Its also a HUGE step up from the other hotels closer to DME and well worth the taxi fare to get there.
- Alex (8/5): Confy, A bit expensive, good location - We had one night to stay between long flights.... and it was a good staying... confy bed, clean room, friendly stuff - all went good. Only two things we did not liked: 1) breakfast was not included and it was expensive,did not worth it thou. 2) some how, the shuttle bus got broken, right at the scheduled time and no replacement was offered, so we had to take a taxi.

Mediocre breakfast, definitely not worth 20 euros, ended up buying fruit in the supermarket just opposite instead

Great location to Domodedovo airport but a fair Metro ride into the city center. 10 mins walk to the Metro center, some decent places to eat within 10 minutes walk.
- GS (10/5): Great value for money hotel - 5* - We stayed in Milan this April for 5 nights. There is absolutely nothing to complain about in relation to Milan. The only downside for us was that people in Moscow tend to smoke inside and the smell of cigarettes was quite strong for us in the reception. Hopefully from next year, when smoking in public places is banned, the hotel will make an even more comfortable place to be. Overall the hotel is in good location for the Domodedovo airport and close to the Metro. It is also very near Tsaritsino park and palace, which is a rather stunning place. I know the area pretty well and we walked all the way from the hotel to Tsaritsino. It is a nice walk along the lakes and through the park. It is also good for running if you'd like to go for a jog, or you can rent roller skates. The city centre is about 7-8 metro stops away. There a few shops, shopping malls and restaurants in the vicinity. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are clean and were tidied up for us every day. The breakfast was superb. We were offered a huge selection of cereals, porridge, pancakes, cooked breakfast, drinks etc. For a family of three, the breakfast was very good value and really quite tasty. If you are considering staying in Milan, I would recommend paying for b&b. We also had dinner in one of the restaurants. Again superb food, although it was a bit too salty for me as I'm not a big salt eater but my companions thought the food was super. Overall it's a decent hotel, handsomely themed and decorated. Even the modest room we had was well looked after. Moscow is an expensive city and hotel Milan is very good value for money and a pleasant place to stay.

- tomtraveler (8/5): Near the Domodedovo airport - Looking for an "overnight", we chose this one based on reviews. The pre-arranged taxi was waiting for us; the trip (at 9 PM) took about 1/2 hour. The lobby is VERY impressive; the room quite comfortable. It looked comfortable enough for a stay of several days -- as has been noted, the hotel is a short walk from a METRO station to the city. The buiffet breakfast was very good, and the (included) shuttle brought us back to airport the next morning. The only "hiccup" was that there were TWO reservations. I think I know the source, but I'm only "back" one day and haven't had a chance to look into the situation.

On the bright side, if you fly to Domodedovo Airport is convenient. I asked for a wake up call two days in a row and no one called me, the staff though polite in general, seems indifferent at times

- Kathy (10/5): Impressed - The Hotel Milan was wonderful. It was reasonable priced in comparason to other Moscow hotels. There is a mall across the street from the hotel with a food court that was very inexpensive in comparison to the hotel's prices. Over all, I highly reccomend it.

Desk staff are courteous, speak English, provide directions, the hotel is immaculate and well maintained. Only down side is charge for internet service and 5 minute walk down the street from the Domodedovo metro station when you have luggage. Breakfast is excellent, with an omelette chef, good coffee, and the works. Mall across the street has a great food court and market if you need some sandwich material and snacks for the day out. Almost the same quality as the 5 star hotels next to the Kremlin, but at half the price. Will stay here again.
- James (8/5): Milan Hotel - I really like this hotel for my purposes - usually fly into Domodedovo airport and head to Lukova the next day. This hotel is perfectly located between the two airports, much better than fighting downtown traffic for a rest break. Rooms are big and new and very comfortable.
- Timothy (8/5): Great value 4 star location 15min from metro - nice hotel, great breakfast (not cheap though). 15min shuttle bus 308 from Dom airport for RUB100 and 30min metro from Bolshoi Theatre - good value + very good deal if you buy a month to two in advance. mostly helpful staff unless some are too busy. worth coming back again if you don't need to stay in the city centre after metro hours (midnight to 6am)

- Karen (10/5): Hotel Milan Excellent Choice - You never know when you book a hotel overseas, but thanks to other customer comments, we selected the Hotel Milan and could not be more pleased. This hotel exceeded our expectations. Everyone involved in direct customer contact spoke excellent Englishy; they were beyond helpful, even phoning another hotel for a stay later in our visit and explaining our request to the other hotel. They were friendly, smiling, and very accomodating. We were very impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to others. Our only complain was that their price increased on Friday and Saturday, so we could not afford to stay there on the return trip through Moscow. The taxi they reserved for us met us at the airport with a clear sign and he was very helpful. In the morning, we took the shuttle back tothe hotel, and again, the driver was very prompt and helpful. We felt very well cared for in a potentially strange and daunting busy, foreign city.
- Ahmad (10/5): My first choice in Moscow! - This is truly a first rate hotel at a reasonable price. Excellent restaurants, clean and very comfortable (large) rooms. Attentive staff who seem to really care that you enjoy your stay. The breakfast buffet is superb and set in a comfortable, spacious dining room (with harp). Free interrnet access on floors 1 and 2 - although bandwidth is not terrific. Possibly the only disadvantage is the distance from the City Centre. But there is a Metro station not too far away. I was there on business and the location of this hotel made it easy to access different parts of Moscow by car - we did not often get snarled up in the horendous city centre traffic (proximity of ring road). I can truly reccomend this hotel if you are on business..... and the price is right!

- D (10/5): Delightful Stay - Hotel was very nice to allow for an early check-in so that we had the whole day free to visit Moscow. Helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful lobby, spacious and comfortable room. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Dinner was also very good. Friend ate at the restaurant/bar in the lobby and liked it too. Conveniently located to Domodedovo Airport. Timely free shuttle took about 20 minutes to the airport. Mall directly across from hotel has many shops and restaurants. Metro station about a 20 minute walk. If staying at hotel, if you don't want to walk to metro station, check if you can take a bus, then transfer to the metro. Hotel staff said it was a 10 minute walk, but that would be walking at a very fast clip. However, once you're at the Metro, you can easily reach any destination in Moscow. Staying at this hotel gave me a very good impression of Moscow and Russia.

- Robin (10/5): Luxury at affordable prices - Hotel is in the suburbs and has a nearby metro link to the centre of Moscow, which takes about 30 minutes. The room was large and the bed huge. Although in a residential and shopping area it was quiet in the hotel. Food is excellent, both for breakfast and in the evening. Staff strive to fulfill your needs. We had to ask for additional towels and toilet paper which were supplied within minutes. If you want to eat cheaply there are fast food outlets and a good supermarket just a couple of minutes away. I was totalling surprised by the the high level of service at this hotel. Offered good value for money.

The lady was very nice and even organised us a packed breakfast as we had an early departure before the included breakfast began. The room was very clean and comfortable and the room service was excellent. Definate thumbs up if you want to stay in a nice place, close the the main Moscow airport.
- Juliana (10/5): Great hotel, far from city centre - Nice staff, great hotel. Excellent breakfast. Everything was ver clean and rooms were excellent. There is a pub in the hotel, with great and well-priced food. Nice beer too. The only thing to bare in mind is the distance to the city center. The hotel is quite far from the main attractions (40 min ride) and the tube station is a 10min walk from the hotel.
- Erhahon (10/5): Superb place - Hotel was superb and staffs were cordial, speak GOOD English and wonderful. Enjoyed my 12days stay with my family. The shopping mall across the road made things a lot easier. The domo airport was closely as well. However, the main restaurant was always used for other functions which prevented guests from having Lunch or Dinner if you wanted. Room service was staffed and orders got confussed and delayed. This didn’t make sense to me especially staying there during the smog in Moscow. The shower has low pressures; I am used to blast, complained but guess that all they have to offer. But its my choice any day if ever I go to Moscow again.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Recommended if you find a good value - It was a good opportunity for a 4 star hotel with an affordable price - minor issues are: location (about 1km from the closest metro station) - total time to city centre may be about 45 minutes. If you leave in the morning and return in the end of day it may not be a problem. Minor issues with room service: 1 towel for 2 persons - requested another one and they forgot it... irregular replacement of toiletries... central air conditioning was weak even when set as coldest. Excellent breakfast including live music - with harp! Nice hotel interior. I recommend if you find it a good value.
- Glenn (10/5): Excellent as usual - Great hotel, english capable staff. I stay here regularly and enjoy it, my Russian wife loves it. The harp player at the elegant buffet breakfast is a nice classy new touch. You get way more than you pay for here. If it doesn't bother you to walk about 4 normal city blocks to the south to get the metro than this is your place. The beer bar/resturant attached are jerks about how they are seperate and don't have to seat forigners sometimes in the past - so I don't give them my business. The mall across the street has a food court that is fine too.
- Hazem (10/5): Milan Hotel - Moscow - Hotel is very nice and the staff are very helpful and great! Breakfast buffet is kinda poor though. But i would recoomend anyone arriving at DME airport to stay there specially if he/she doesn't want to stay away from the airport. Free shuttle bus to drop you to the airport is available 3 times a day (8, 10 and 12) and it is 10min walking from the nearest metrostation.
- Renaud (10/5): Good value - Very good hotel, with an excellent breakfast buffet. The main hic with this hotel is that it is quite far from the City center (close to 1 hour in Subway), and still not very close to the Domodedovo airport. The hotel itself is walking distance (15 min) from the closest subway station in a safe neighbourhood. You have to pay for a very slow "high speed cabled internet" access. Forget watching TV or connecting to a VPN service. Free wireless access is available in the lobby area, but the speed is no better. Mini bar prices are very high, but there is a 24 hours service station with all you need halfway between the hotel and the subway. There are a few basic restaurants within walking distance.

- Richard (10/5): Modern hotel in with good breakfast - I stayed at the Hotel Milan in May 2010 and January 2010. The rooms are comfortable, there is a nice restaurant serving a good full breakfast and the staff are friendly and efficient. A nice touch is a lady harpist playing in the restaurant at breakfast if you're not in a rush. There is a football themed bar serving good beer and light meals adjacent to the hotel and various reasonable restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel is situated acrioss the road from teh "Ashan" shopping centre and about 10 minutes walk from Domodedovskaya Metro station. The coutesy minibus to Domodedovo Airport (30 minutes) is handy. Very good value for Moscow when booked online.
- Ivan (8/5): Finally, a good Moscow Hotel - Hmmm how to write a review where I can't quote prices....? Most reasonably prices (think US Holiday Inn for instance) Moscow hotels suck! Usually old, dirty, no service, uncomfortable, noisy, smelly tourist traps. Milan at about this rate or a bit less, is a wonderful change. It's pretty new, clean, staff (mostly) speak some English, modern, free WiFi in lobby. BUT, everything in the hotel is horribly expensive: Beer & nuts for the price of an entree at a regular restaurant. Hotel restaurant is mediocre & expensive. Breakfast is very nice & included. Large mall across the street has a food court-Sbarro is probably the best. No bargains at mall stores. I come to Moscow on biz and the Milan is definitely the pick of the litter as long as they keep their prices at a reasonable level. The Milan is not especially convenient to Moscow tourist attractions, but the hotel can arrange for a car & driver but I don't know if at reasonable cost.

- Mark (10/5): Very highly recommended, great place for short stay. - Very attractive hotel inside. Spacious room with everything that there should be. We felt very well looked after, and staff were great. Breakfast has a very good selection, as varied as a 5 star hotel. Live harp music to accompany breakfast was a really lovely touch. Meals in the very nicely furnished restaurant are very good value for money, and not expensive at all. It is 10 mins brisk walk to the nearest metro, Domodedovskaya, which is acceptable. There are 2 quite large shopping centres nearby, with sensible prices. We were very happy, and will definitely stay again. Thanks to all there.
- masroor (4/5): Not Impressed. - We had problem with over heated rooms temp: 24 to 26c on complain we were requested to open the windows to get the temperature down as no ac available and. they couldnot reduce the temperature from the source i don't know why. when you open the window you can't sleep as a main raod is next to hotel which is in 24hrs use and room can get colder than expected.
- Neil (8/5): Excellent value for Moscow - If you are travelling to and from Domodedovo and don't need the center of Moscow right on your doorstep, then this place represents great value by Moscow standards. Use the Metro (just a 10 minute walk away) and you can be in Red Square within 40 minutes door to door. Breakfast was also a great start to the day, nice dining room, live harpist and a great buffet. Internet access was a bit slow and unreliable. Bar prices are costly, but still better than downtown Moscow and the shopping center across the road has a respectable food court on the top floor. Good value, I would use again.

- Carlos (6/5): Very nice but really far - The hotel is very nice, comfortable and clean but is really far from the internation airport (approx 2 hours). Take the airport train and then the metro. Don't even think in take a taxi or you will pay a fortune. It is also far from the red square and the main attractions (approx 45 min) by metro. A metro station is close (walking time 15 min)
- American (10/5): Great Service and English speaking staff in Moscow! - The lobby is very attractive, with a piano bar, and very helpful staff. All employees at the front desk speak excellent English and they are willing to help with all requests. I have stayed at several Moscow hotels, and this has been by far the best customer service, and the best in terms of willingness and ability to speak English. The rooms are clean and spacious, as well as the bathrooms. The king-size bed in our room was of high quality. The Domodedovo metro station is about a 15 minute walk, and from there the city center is about 20 minutes or so.
- Theresa (10/5): Unexpected luxury for the money - We were quite pleasantly surprised at just how luxurious this hotel was especially considering the bargain rate offered by Hotels.com. Given the outrageous price of Moscow hotels, we really weren't expecting much but this hotel is top of the line with modern design and super clean and comfortable. While it is not in the city center, it is convenient via subway to city (about 30 minutes) and equally convenient to DME (Domedovo) airport. An express bus goes directly from the airport to a block from the hotel. The hotel provides shuttle service to the airport for return flights. Although there really is nothing in the way of entertainment in the immediate area, there is a fabulous mall with many fine stores including a wonderful supermarket. The staff was very accommodating and eager to make our stay satisfying and comfortable. I don't think I would recommend the hotel for those flying in or out of SVO, but if you desire luxury at an affordable price and are willing to sacrifice city center location, this is the best deal around!!!
- Barry (10/5): Great Hotel For The Price! - We just returned after staying at the Milan for 7 days. We had a great stay. Very clean room, friendly, english speaking staff, with a free breakfast buffet. Many restaurants within walking distance. The Metro is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel with approx 25 minute ride (approx 7 stops) to get to the Kremlin. The only downside is that you have to pay for internet access (approx $25 US dollars per 24 hours). We will certainly stay here again.
- Lida (10/5): Great room for the money - I enjoyed my stay in this hotel for about 10 days. It looks new and it does not have lots of accessories that most older hotels have, like paintings, shops, bar for a drink in the evening before you go to your room. Almost all of the staff werevery nice and happy looking except there was a dark brown hair lady who looked like the manager of the day time reception. She never smiled, reluctant to answer or help us and she made me feel like not welcome there. I tried to avoid her any time I went to reception area. But all others were very nice and warm and smiling and went extra mile to help you. Excellent breakfast and waiters. You can trust to get a wake up call and they were very helpful in giving you directions to every where. I called my hotel from airport and the gentleman told me to take bus # 308 to go to the center. The bus was waiting just outside of airport. for 82 Rubles ($2.5) I came to center of city and walked 12 minutes to Hotel Milan.

- E (8/5): Nice Hotel-Good value - We stayed in the Milan for 3 nights & were very satisfied.The room was clean, bright & somewhat spacious, with a fridge, tele etc. The shower was in the bathtub.There was a shortage of towels which were promptly replenished. The staff were pleasant & helpful.Including with the Visa invitation paperwork-to cover all the dates of our stay. The Hotel reception area is under construction & is closed, so you enter around the side of the hotel-not a problem. The breakfast is very good- However( renovations?), there isn't a bar area, just a few couches in the corner of the restaurant area, service a bit slow. 10 min walk to the metro stop.You can get a bus/ tram across the road (20 rubles-kiosk) 2 stops. The metro takes 30 mins into Red Square. From the Metro look for McDonalds, the hotel is on the same side of the road past a big car showroom. The shuttle service to the airport is good if you are going at the available slots. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn't working-supposed to be fixed the 2nd day but didn't make any difference. We ate in the restaurant just before going to the airport and had a nice meal, reasonable, (go for the bar menu -even for drinks- the restaurant menu is a bit steep. You can have either sitting at the same table- maybe because there isn't really a bar) Overall I'd have no problem recommending Hotel Milan, if you are in Moscow to see the sights, and are looking for a base in nice surroundings with a great breakfast.
- Froukje (8/5): Comfortable hotel - Great breakfast, nice big rooms. Too bad construction was going on and interfering with our dinner experience. Friendly, helpful staff. There is wireless internet, but they charge $$ for it. The charge for the taxi from the hotel is also rather high. Relatively close to Domodedovo airport, and about 30 minutes to downtown with the metro (fun, fast and beautiful)- a train every 2 to 3 minutes. Definitively go see the Tsaritsino Estate, 20 minutes walk from the hotel, free entrance and so beautiful!
