Reclamei na recepção e me pediram desculpas prometendo corrigir o erro.

I am a wildlife photographer, there are some species of birds to photograph right there. I like spa area. Stuff was very helpful Didn’t find anything

• Quweck1 (6/5): May be try a better option - Very average hotel. Although we had a big room, the service was very bad. No one in reception speaks English. The room is located on the busy street, very noisy all night. The staff that cleaned a room next to us late in the evening, were so loud that I had to come out in my PJ to ask them to stop the noise. Breakfast was not nice, all was there but low quality. No one to speak to. I am positive that there are better hotel in the area.

Most of your trip to El Calafate are spent on day long tours and there’s really not much point in spending the price point this hotel is at what you’re in Patagonia to be outside all day. Other than that the hotel is perfectly nice and was a great stay.

• o2mpx (8/5): Good Option for Stay - Stayed one night as part of tour group. Facility is clean and rooms are of good sized. Air conditioning is effective and has good directional controls. Lobby has filtered water filling station and rooms have a refillable container. WiFi is acceptable. Lobby staff is efficient but not particularly friendly. There’s a small gift shop next to reception. The water is roughly 10 min walk down slope from hotel for shore walks. Recommended.

• defaultdisplay986 (6/5): Think twice-inconvenient and unfriendly - This is a mediocre hotel on the far outskirts of El Calafate (>1 1/2 mile walk). Our room itself was okay, but overlooked the parking lot with no lake view. We were 'welcmed' with an email 2 days before arrival telling us we had to pay in USD and laying down a long list of restrictive rules. They have a shuttle to town but it only makes 1 trip per hour and only from 3-10 pm.
• G4480CPmichaelg (2/5): Avoid it. - This is not a 5 star hotel. It is equivalent to a US motel, but with non functioning amenities (air conditioning) and no desire to fix them. When we checked in, 4 other families were all lined up with their own complaints that ranged from being locked out of their rooms to broken AC. When our AC was broken they said they would refund us for the stay. Two days later, once we had left, they said: “we never said that.” The front desk attendant, Anna, most certainly did. I would highly recommend NOT staying here.
• sunflower12765 (10/5): Luxury Hotel with nice views over Lake Argentino - This is a really nice hotel which is slightly out of the town centre, however if you're fit you can walk but they have a complimentary shuttle bus that runs every hour, which I used for my stay. I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights as part of an escorted tour. They have a nice spa and an unusual pool that is part inside and outside, which is a bit quirky. The breakfasts are buffet style and very nice with lots of selections. I didn't eat dinner as chose to eat in the town centre. There is a nice bar area that offer nice cocktails and bar food. I also requested milk from the bar to take back to my room because I like milk with my tea and there wasn't any in the room fridge. My room had a lovely view across Lake Argentino and included a sitting area with two easy chairs facing the large window and the view. The bed was large and very comfortable. My room had a shower over the bath which was not a problem and I was aware the room next to me had no bath but a separate shower cubicle. El Calafate is a lively small town with lots of restaurants and shops and lots and lots of dogs! The dogs walk around the streets and in my experience were all very tame (but I didn't touch any), however I often kept some of my meat from my evening meal to be able to feed to them when I left a restaurant. I saw many people doing this and the dogs clearly appreciate it. Apparently the dogs are looked after by the town who make sure they are okay and pay any vets bills.
• U429AMmichaelm (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - Absolute joke. This hotel is a trash can. We paid an absurd price to stay in a shack. Firstly, the hotel food was horrible and one of the family members got sick from the so called “sushi.” Breakfast is even worse do not even consider eating at the hotel. The hotel is 20 minute drive from the actual town itself, find a place closer in the town. The internet is horrible. Cannot even access it in your own room. Only place the wifi works is the lobby. Their gym is an absolute joke. There’s a bike and a broken cable machine. It shouldn’t even show up as an amenity on the hotel. Front desk was extremely rude and woke me up 5 times at 5:30am-7am. They claimed they were told to send wake up calls to my room. I’m sure they confused my room with someone else’s. The beds were extremely small and there were also insects crawling in our shower. The shower is confusing to turn on and either shifts between scalding hot or ice cold. It sucks. There are an unbelievable amount of issues with this location. Instead, I should be getting paid to sleep there. Do not stay here if you want to enjoy your trip.

• B8540WXchristinab (10/5): Excellent! - Absolutely beautiful hotel. Super clean, friendly staff. Not right in the town but they run their shuttle every hour for shopping and restaurants. Only a 6-7 minute ride. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake. Had dinner at their restaurant one night. Definitely 5 stars. Nice bar near the lobby also serving food and great cocktails. Try the Calafate Sour:-)

• Hannah (10/5): Gorgeous hotel and friendly staff. - Beautiful views from our hotel room and the space is gorgeous. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, breakfast was phenomenal. We also loved the pool which is heated and got a massage which was wonderful after days of hiking. The restaurant is also delicious with a tango show to entertain. The shuttle downtown is also convenient to explore shops and food. Perfect for the few days in el Calafate.

Na 5 verzoeken hebben we nog steeds geen faktuur van de kamer ontvangen. Ze rekenden in plaats van in dollar, zoals was vermeld op ons boekingsformulier plots met een of andere uitleg aan in pesos. Daar door was het uiteindelijke bedrag niet duidelijk. Dat zag ik pas enkele dagen later op mijn bankafschrift. Ze rekenden bijna 100 € teveel aan! Vragen daarover worden niet beantwoord. Bovendien was het ontbijt geen succes, ongezellige refterachtige ruimte. Geen vers gezond volkorenbrood, enkel ultrabewerkt deegachtig en zwaar brood en koeken. Geen gezonde muesli of granola enkel ultrabewerkte Kellogs.
• 509gailv (10/5): wonderful place to stay - this hotel was an excellent hotel. outside of town but they do have a shuttle that runs to downtown frequently. We enjoyed our short stay with them. The room was clean and spacious with peaceful excellent views of the lake. There is a trail around the lake that is easy to access from the hotel.
• ausHamburg (8/5): Not a True Five-Star Experience, but probably the Best in El Calafate - The hotel advertises itself as a five-star property, but that rating is not really justified. By international standards, it would be at best four stars. The rooms are perfectly fine, but several other aspects definitely do not meet five-star expectations. The breakfast in particular is very modest and really not acceptable for a hotel claiming this category. That said, it is probably still the best option in El Calafate. It is located a bit outside the town center, but there is a shuttle service available both to and from the city, which is convenient.

• Diana_Boyle (10/5): Hotel with an incredible view! - Wonderful hotel, great location overlooking the lake and across to the Andes. Half hour walk to the town of El Calafate, but the hotel also provides a shuttle bus service to town and back, which we used twice. Really warm, comfortable and clean hotel, big room ,large bathroom with wet room. Pool and spa facilities are super relaxing. The pool and jacuzzi are immaculate, and you can swim into an outdoor area too. Plenty of towels provided, really pleasant spa staff. Excellent choice for breakfast in a dining room overlooking the lake. Plenty of hot and cold options, lots of fruit and pastries. The hotel has a restaurant and bar area, also serving food. Really friendly, helpful staff, Lorenzo was excellent.

• jose (7/5): Decepción - La atención del personal El desayuno muy malo y escaso, increíble que un hotel supuestamente de 5 estrellas no tenga cortinas para sol, camas aguadas, las toallas de pésima calidad y además si pide extra lo interrogan como si fueran tesoros. El agua de la regadera se enfría y se calienta, tiene uno que estar entrando y saliendo, o se quema o se enfría, vuelvo a recalcar en un hotel 5 estrellas pasa eso?, no recomiendo el hotel para nada.

• LILIANA (7/5): Salvo lo descriptivo antes todo muy bien - Es muy bella Falta de personal para q colaboren con el equipaje desde el auto hasta el hotel dado q siempre se ocupa el sector de ingreso único sector que no tiene pedregullo

• Marianela (10/5): - Todo! Es un hotel que se esfuerza al %100 por ofrecer el mejor servicio. La calidad en las instalaciones y la atención del personal don una maravilla. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme en este hotel. Recomiendo tener mas opciones veganas en el desayuno de igual forma es excelente

• richjacobson18 (4/5): Listening to my adjoining room neighbors late night and early morning conversations is not my idea of a premium hotel. Flawed - There is a glaring infrastructure weakness that makes this hotel barely livable. Unfortunately I did not read Tripadvisor reviews, nor would I have gleaned this important flaw, had I combed through the library of comments. Xelena has very poor room sound insulation. I stayed at the hotel 3 nights. My neighbors were loud enough that conversations were discernible in the bathroom and lying in the bed. Materials used are of the cheapest quality. Doors are a vinyl typical of the lowest quality in Home Depot, and in the In United States, would not meet fire codes. There is a glass reusable bottle of water provided for guests. Filled upon check in. Here's the rub. Refilling is downstairs adjacent to the front desk reception. Every time I needed water, I traipsed down from 520 to the water refill station. And then, refilling took an interminable time. The machine is meant for filling a small cup, not a liter glass bottle. Yes, management was willing to.move me. Not convenient for a 3 night stay, especially when this junior suite was flawed in construction. On positive side, Bar Menu for informal dinner was very good. The Mora Dining Room was excellent, with superb service with a smile.
