Hotel service and breakfast was good overall though. Great location to stay away from crowds but still very walkable to attractions.

The terasse is fantastic and the breakfast was really superb. Many details were thought out (afternoon free coffee and croissants), great service from front desk, accessibility accommodations.

The neighborhood was quiet and all major points of interest walkable. The outside terrace was a great place to unwind at the end of the night or eat breakfast.

We could still walk to everything, but the location was less busy than center city.The staff are very friendly, and helpful. Ipek (6/5): A hotel in Florence with pluses and minuses - 1- Location of the hotel is very good and central and accessible to many must-see places by walk. 2- The size of the room we were given was big 1-The size of the room is ok but the twin beds are quite small. Moreover there could have been different pillow options like stiff/ergonomic ones for the people who do not like soft ones. 2-The towels were quite unusual and they were like a think layer of a bed sheet instead of a proper towel sets 3-In the bathroom, there was no shampoo dispenser, instead there were small disposable shampoo bag which were not convenient to use.

lynnwY1967VD (10/5): Comfortable, convenient, friendly hotel - Hotel Silla is a lovely hotel in the Oltrarno neighborhood. Because of its location, it’s easy to walk to many of the attractions in Florence. We didn’t need a car, and didn’t take a taxi at all during our stay. The hotel has a breakfast buffet every morning, and if the weather is nice, you can take your meal to the terrace. We used the hotel’s laundry service, which was very convenient. There are several good restaurants nearby, where you can get an apertivo or delicious meal. We really enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend it.

But very expensive for the price. The room is very small and for sure needs to be renewed to reflect the price per night. No kettel in the room. The breakfast is not good, and does not worth the price spent per night.

The hotel was excellent, clean, and accommodating for a couple that previously never been to Europe or to Italy. The location of the hotel was perfect for both a great view of Florence across the river as well as convenient access to restaurants and sites on both sides.

The entire stay except the last night we were there we kept complaining and they kept telling us. We did have hot water and then finally fixed it and said there was a problem I would never come back to this hotel.

The staff (Laura and Massimo) were warm and welcoming. The room we had was spacious and very comfortable, and the daily breakfast buffet was a perfect way to start the day. We will most certainly stay at Hotel Silla on our next visit to Firenze.

Meiko (8/5): Very well located, clean, and friendly - The location is fantastic - it’s within a short walking distance of many of the main sights and attractions in Florence. Staff were friendly. The room and hotel in general were very clean and the bed was super comfortable! There were nice fresh baguettes and pastries for breakfast. There was quite a lot of noise from rubbish collections just outside the property in the mornings. The bathroom was so small that it was a bit awkward to get in and out of. A window was coming off its hinge (which staff offered to get repaired during our visit), and the heating in the room kept turning itself back on even after being switched off.

És a l'altre riva de l'Arno en un barri força tranquil i encantador, a 10 minuts a peu del Palau Pitti, però prou prop del centre. L'habitació és espaiosa i moderna, amb unes vistes esplèndides sobre Florència i l'Arno. El personal és molt atent i agradable. Té una terrassa molt bonica. L'habitació té un penjador llarg per a deixar les coses i també calaixos, hagués preferit si el penjador hagués estat un armari. Al lavabo no hi ha gaire espai per les coses de toileta.

Selon moi la literie pourrait être bien plus ferme ! Les serviettes trop fines et qui essuient peu. Je regrette une bouilloire en chambre avec des sachets de thé ou de café. Neighborhood itself has great pizza to fine dining, artists' studios, and great meandering as you parallel the river 1 block in from the river bank between Ponte alle Gracie and Ponte Vecchio. Quiet abode but not far from all the sites and charms of Florence. Delightful and highly recommend.

macman2 (10/5): Within several walks to the major sights of Florence - Hotels near the Arno River bridges allow one to access the major sights on both sides of the river. Hotel Silla is like four blocks from the Ponte alle Grazie. It is within walking distance of the major sights of Florence. Our room was average size, clean, with comfortable bed, a safe for passports, They offered laundry service for a reasonable price which allowed us to pack less for our carryon. Full breakfast was included and pretty comprehensive. It is an old convent turned into a private mansion and now hotel. Three blocks from San Niccolo tower.
