Guest Reviews
- Ali (4/5): - This property was one of the worst property I ever stayed in. I was charged $365.00 for two nights via Expedia but I learned through my stay it was actually $87.00 which is not fair to Me by paying more .
I was also charged if I had any visitors.
- Ali (2/5): - Worst hotel I ever booked for 3 nights and I tried to cancel it but they don’t even answer my emails because I find it dirty and mold and very old smell bad
- Simon (2/5): - 5.2 for a reason
- Fahad (2/5): - Overall bad experience
- Durah (4/5): - I didn’t have a room to sleep on that day,I pay for it
- James (2/5): - It was what we'd call a 'party' hotel and not at all what we wanted or how it read on paper.
- Roni (2/5): Lack of knowledge reception - Not even check in. as was a problem at the reception. I was inform that the hotel has no more longer having contract with hotels.com. How is even possible if no more contracts with hotel.com and the rate still existsting in website online.
When I ask for refunabel back facing difficulties as the booking is not refundable. I demand my money which already debited to be refund.
Please contact me hotels.com or ramee Royal team
- Verified traveler (10/5): Enjoyed Nightlife - enjoyed our stay here with all the night life in the Bldg, good place if you want to enjoy a night out with friends
- A.Ahmed (2/5): - They’re charged me extra if I would take someone in the room room was two people but they said you will pay 200 DHS per night that I payed bad experience.
Never pay any extra in Dubai I was traveling Dubai last 10 years
- Rajanya (8/5): - Good food.
- saurabh (6/5): feedback - just o.k
- pulli (2/5): Very bad hotel and cleanness and bad staff - Very bad staff ,, hotel condition is very poor and not I didn’t check in hotel,,
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was clean and adequate. The hotel has several restaurants and night clubs on the ground and first floor. The disco music is audible until 03h00 in the morning. The breakfast was palatable, but not of expected standard. Due to the clubs I would not stay there again.
- stani (2/5): Avoid !!! - We've booked this hotel for the last night of our 12 day holiday in Dubai, due to its proximinity to the airport and lack of hotels available due to Saudi holiday season. Ultimately our fault, as we've left it until the last minute, otherwise we would have probably stayed elsewhere.
We arrived at the hotel around 9pm in the evening, the receptionist whom spoke a rather basic English mumbled that he had no record of our booking and asked us to sit down in the lobby. After around 30 mins he called us around and started checking us in. He intended that we presented our marriage certificate ( as my passport was in my maiden name. This was a trird hotel in Dubai during our stay and no one has yet asked us for this!!! ) and he wanted to keep our passports until check-out, to which we strongly disagreed and requested that he returns our passports to us immediately. He did indeed.
The hotel is part on an Indian group hotels, with Indian restaurant, Indian traditional music and a Russian night club, we were told at check in. Thinking not too much about that we went up to our room on a 3rd floor and got ready for bed as we were up at 5am to catch our flight. Around 10.30pm a load music and heavy base started and I am not exaggerating the walls were shaking. It wasn't getting any better and it took 3 phone calls down to the reception for someone to realise that we weren't going to go away! there were 7 nightclubs in the hotel no one told us about. Running out of space here...
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Decent place with a variety of nightlife options in one location..
- Irina (4/5): Noisy - The 4 stories hotel has 2 restaurants on 1st and 4th floors with loud music till 3 am every night. It's not possible to sleep.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Place to Stay !! - As you arrive you are greeted with a super friendly smile !! Front desk are great and always available to help ! Fun Bars and clubs to hang out in, espically to get your groove on !! Ramesh in the sports bar is a great guy and makes your visit pretty special !! Great staff all around !!!
- Vivek (8/5): Centrally located and a convenient location - It was a good stay, only hassle was the reception didnt have my booking details and I had to wait for 30 minutes before a room was allotted. However the hotel compensated, with a late check out
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Incompetent staff and unreasonable "rules" for checking in
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst valet parking anywhere. Worst check-in - This hotel visit started badly with no valet parking when I arrived. A half hour later they expected me to give them my car without any receipt or ticket. I ended up parking my car myself. Then reception kept my ID in a duplicitous manner without offering the option of giving a cash or credit card deposit.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Hotel place was good but night club was too noise so guest couldn't sleep until they finish at 3 a.m. Because the sound too high
- Verified traveler (2/5): Noisy slump with incompetent staff - The hotel has a number of night clubs that play very loud music until early hours of the morning. The clubs seemed to attract noisy people who had little regard to the hotel guests. The front desk staff is incompetent sending wrong luggage from someone else to the room after the middle of the night then calling after to apologize. In my opinion, this is the worst hotel in Dubai. Avoid at all cost.
- Shahid (6/5): Not recommended for Family - This hotel is not appropriate for Family, 2ndly No Bidet Shower for for Toilet Bowl. House keeping very slow. You have to pay extra for Dental Kit and Slippers.
- Ahsan (4/5): Business Trip - one can find better hotels in dubai for business or family vacation purpose than this.
staff was less cooperative.
rooms were clean; but overall hotel cleanliness wasnt impressive.
kitchen/cooking/smoking odor could be felt in rooms, hallways, parking.
will avoid staying again.
- laila (8/5): lovely hotel very good specially if you are from I - we had a wonderful time the staff were very friendly,the room was really very clean.
The staff were always eager to help and get us a taxi or any other help
its really good if you are from the indian subcontinent,there is a lovely restaurant
where they have live music and the food is exceptional.
- Verified traveler (4/5): All round average - The hotel was very noisy - especially rooms located above the nightclub. The location was not ideal, though was within walking distance of the metro which was a bonus. For Dubai this is decent, clean, comfortable accomodation but it was far from impressive and I would not recommend it for those expecting true 4 star standards.
- Modupe (6/5): Noise level too high - The hotel was easier getting to through Quad Metha station for the party type is ok but for those who want silience its not. too many loud music from several floors
- Verified traveler (4/5): not recommended - The reception smells indian cuisine, the hotel is noisy , the room are shaking from the noise of the hotels nightclub. The nightclub is full of callgirls
The reception keep the guests passport and they tried to overcharge me for drinks in the minibars that I didn't use
- tjohnson732 (8/5): Convenient Location - Located near the airport, many malls and shops, and restaurants. The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff was gracious and helpful
- tjohnson732 (8/5): Convenient Location - Located near the airport, many malls and shops, and restaurants. The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff was gracious and helpful
- Verified traveler (4/5): close to city and airport - Took them 25 minutes to check me in & then when i checked in the hotel, the bed sheet was allover the place as someone was using the room and they didn't made the room earlier. Hotel staff and manager were rude.
- ganny (8/5): hotel was good. - A bit aged. But for the price it was good stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Short on everything - Worth 50 to 75 used per day max
Breakfast is terrible. Smell of Indian cuisine everywhere. Staff not professional
- Verified traveler (4/5): Can be avoided - Booked an overnight stay. Got a room in the non smoking floor but it smelled of smoke. Hotel has a lot of restaurants and clubs. It's extremely noisy at night when these shut down. Checked out early morning. The bell boy was arguing with a limo driver outside and I could hear them at the reception. Even when I was waiting for my cab they were screaming at the top of their voice at 6 AM. Basically the property can be avoided and should do more to make the guest experience a lil better.
- Sudhir (10/5): Rooms - Big and clean rooms. Comfortable big bed. Nice bathroom. Centrally located. Great value for money.
- Brett (6/5): - Facilities: Everyday, Modest; Value: Acceptable price; Service: Basic, Sufficient, Polite; Cleanliness: Hygienic , Tidy, Clean;
- mcintosh (8/5): Nice value except location, noise - Pros: Nice hot breakfast, English speaking courteous staff, big room, bathroom.
Cons: lot of noise till 3 am heard in room due to bar club down stairs. Far from metro. Hard to get cab during peak hours from burjuman station. Need 15-30 mins in morning to get cab from hotel. Reception area very dark all time
Ok for business travelers. Not for family.
Ok for value oriented customers.
- Stuart (6/5): -
- Kamaran (10/5): - Facilities: State of the art; Value: Bargain; Service: Good; Cleanliness: Pleasant;
- George (6/5): Closest to my office - Ramee Royal is a hotel focused on F&B, clubbing etc and not preferable for business tourists. One of the improvement areas I felt is that one bottle of complimentary water is also not included in booking by default which I felt was a cheap gesture. The food in room service is average and was served cold (they are too busy running 7-10 odd different themed club, bars and restaurants). The biggest plus points for me was that my office was walkable from the hotel and I could save big time on taxi hence my office preferred that I stay there. For a tourist who has no location constraints of Bur Dubai, I would suggest 4 points or holiday Inn any day with an incremental cost..
- brendon (8/5): - Facilities: Typical; Value: Bargain; Service: Respectful; Cleanliness: Lovely;
- Ivan (2/5): It's like trying to sleep in a night club - There is music playing above and below until 3AM. The room literally shakes.This hotel should be removed from hotels.com
- Ann (6/5): - Facilities: Basic; Value: Average price; Service: Sufficient; Cleanliness: Clean;
The noise from the club next door made the bathroom door vibrate until after 1am.....I would not consider this hotel again
- Tabikh (2/5): Dont come here, this is a disco not a Hotel! - This was a horrable experiance, the reception staff so rude and not proffesional, did not check us in tell 2 pm although they had open rooms! You CAN NOT sleep here, we had two rooms and they were shaking from the night club music tell 4 AM, we tried to move to a differant rooms, same thing. We complained but they care only about the party and making money every night from the night club on 1 st floor and 4 th floor( last floor), the pillows had lipsticks stains, the location is horrobale were you can Not find any taxi or transporation. Not a hotel at all.
- Verified traveler (2/5): V poor hotel - The hotel has a nightclub for which the music reverberates throw the room until the early hours of the morning. The room smelt of dampness.
In 20 years stating in Dubai this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
- SN (2/5): THINK 1000 TIMES before you book this WORST hotel - Even before I booked this hotel I have read the reviews about this hotel and I was not comfortable at that time also. I thought it would be ok for 5 days and go ahead and booked the hotel. I would say that I have done the biggest mistake in my life till date by booking this "so called 4-star hotel". I dont understand how come they are called as 4-star? Do not go by their writings in the web site. They have mentioned that water bottle is complimentary. to my surprise, when i was in the hotel they said that is only for the FIRST DAY. They have kept tea bags in the room and i asked, from where should i get water for drinking tea - from the toilet or what? The answer which i got was "It is not advisable and if you want tea you can buy it from the coffee shop for 15 AED. Else you can go and have it for 2 or 3 AED outside hotel". I have never slept for the 5 days I have stayed there because of the LOUD MUSIC which was played in their disco bar. They are ditching mostly Indians by offering the lowest rate around that area. DONT EVEN HAVE A TRY AT THIS HOTEL!!
- NOLA-UPT3 (10/5): Good hotel for anybody. - Hotel was great I was just passing thru and I enjoyed my stay. The food at the resturant was good the staff was very nice the room was nice and comfy and clean the only problem I've been told about is getting sleep at night because of the club that's in the hotel like I said I was just passing thru only spent 8hrs at the hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Close to Shopping centres, taxi a must to travel - I chose the hotel because of its location as I had work at Rashid hospital. The room was very quiet, spacious and clean. Service was prompt and superb just like you expect in a 4 star hotel. For party animals, there are 3 clubs around. You have to take taxis if you wish to go anywhere due to its location near a busy area with construction going on. Breakfast was good.
- George (2/5): HORRIBLE HOTEL - The sheets were stained, the bed was as hard as a piece of plywood. The food was bad, the service was poor, counter people rude. The window latch was broken, making it impossible to close and reduce the noise from the outside.This is a one star hotel. Spend a few dollars more for a decent place to stay.
- Mr. Kennedy (6/5): Not so Royal - Well, I work in Afghanistan. My flight from kandahar was delayed. I called the hotel to tell them I would be arriving late. I was assured that it would not be a problem. When I arrived at 5:30 am the next morning I was told I had to wait until 2pm to check in Totally unacceptable. When I got my room about 7am I ordered ice to my room 3 times and it never came. I was told it went to the wrong room. I requested a high floor because alot of the hotels have clubs inside them. I got a room on the 2nd floor and was kept up most of the night by the loud music.
