Ez magyarként fura, de nem fáztunk, mert volt fűtés, illetve meleg volt a pléd is. De ez inkább csak információ, nem negatívum!

Excellent location in pretty cobbled street in area with many restaurants and interesting shops. Within walking distance of metro and bus. A waste paper bin in the room would have been good and possibly mattress toppers.

• Andy (8/5): - Friendly, helpful staff. Great location. Comfy bed. Reasonable price. Fairly dark as only window was at the bedroom end, to the shared entrance courtyard. Quite noisy at times through the back walls and ceiling. Kitchenette and room facilites limited.

Staff was very helpful (Carla - lady at reception very helpful). Cleaning services were very nice as well. No complaints. Wifi was little weak at time, no microwave and iron in the room. Otherwise all good.

• Jay (7/5): First time in Rome and had fun. Was disappointed in the hotel a bit but it had a good location. - The location was pretty decent. The restaurants within a 10 mile walk were good. Located near a grocery mart. The staff communication was great. They helped me organize taxi service every time I needed it and provided lots of details. Dated Bedding and carpet, cleanliness of the walls & vents, cracked toilet seats and toilets didn’t work well, air conditioning didn’t work well.

• Patricia (6/5): Aceptable - Nos alojamos en la zona de apartamentos. Destacar la ubicación y la amabilidad del personal. En cuanto a la ubicación, está muy bien conectado tanto con la estación de tren de Termini como con el resto de la ciudad a través de los autobuses. Se puede ir andando a cualquier lado y la zona es segura (al lado hay una comisaría o similar de carabinieri). El barrio es muy agradable y, aparte de los turísticos Mini markets, hay un Pam y un Conad y un mercado regional en la via Baccina. El personal muy amable, profesional y de fácil comunicación. Instrucciones muy claras. Dan recomendaciones y ayudan en el check in en particular. En cuanto al apartamento, sábanas y toallas impecables. La cocina muy justa y con poca zona donde apoyar cuando preparas el desayuno. Hay mucho sitio donde guardar la ropa. En cuanto al baño, muy buena el agua caliente, y el caudal con el que sale. También destacar que está bastante resguardado de la calle. EStuvimos en invierno y no pasamos frío porque está la bomba de calor permanentemente conectada. Le damos un seis por la relación calidad precio y por lo que no nos gustó que detallamos más adelante. Antes de entrar en detalles, el apartamento es correcto y consideramos que le falta un poco de cariño y mantenimiento por parte del hotel que lo gestiona. Con poco que hicieran estaría mucho mejor. En este sentido: - Tuvimos que pedir que revisaran tanto el cabezal de la ducha como la campana extractora porque no nos parecía adecuado el estado en el que se encontraban. Cambiaron uno y otro. También pedimos una sarten y nos la dieron al día siguiente... - La cama es muy incómoda y, en nuestro apartamento, había una zona especialmente hundida. - El armario donde se guarda la ropa tiene una barra que está tan alta que hay que subir los abrigos (fuimos en invierno y llevábamos abrigos largos) con una vara de alcance que tenían. - La bomba de calor no se apaga ni se regula y hace mucho ruido includo de noche. - El baño tiene una rejilla en el techo cuya higiene es mejorable.

• 19isabel69 (3/5): Una experiencia más... - El personal y la distancia a los puntos más visitados.Por ejemplo a menos 10 minutos a pie del Coliseo y a unos 15 de la Fontana de Trevi. Eran dos camas y los dos colchones eran duros. Las almohadas eran una alta y dura y la otra fina y también dura. Las camas individuales son muy estrechas. Si te mueves puedes caerte. El plato de ducha estaba rajado. Sale el agua por las juntas. Y el grifo de la ducha estaba roto. Al ser de palanca, se nos quedó en las manos varias veces.

Il manque quelques ustensile de cuisine. Le chauffage se fait par une climatisation réversible pour ceux qui sont fragiles des bronches je le déconseille j'ai attrapé un gros mal de gorge dès le 2e jour.

• Lívia (10/5): Mindenképp ajánlom. Jó helyen, kedvesek, jó áron, szép és tiszta. - Biztonságos és hangulatos környék a közelben éttermekkel, boltokkal, látnivalókkal és tömegközlekedéssel. A szállásadó hölgy nagyon előzékeny és segítőkész volt. A fürdő/wc gyönyörű és kifogástalanul tiszta, minden nap jöttek takarítani. Puha törölközők, hajszártó, tusfürdő, bidé stb. szinte 4*. Kicsit előbb értünk oda, de gond nélkül átvehettük a szobát. A fűtés tökéletesen működött, bár jellegénél fogva kicsit hangos. A szoba csendes. A szoba kicsi, bár csak aludni jártunk vissza, uh. ez nem volt probléma nekünk. Az ágyak nekünk kissé kemények voltak és nagyon furcsa volt, hogy nem kaptunk paplant és csak egy pokróccal lehetett takarózni. Mivel a fűtés jól működött, így nem fáztunk, de szokatlan volt. De ezek csak apróságok.

It is very centrally located for most of the tourist attractions and also not on a busy road and therefore quite and peaceful for a city centre location. The room was pleasantly clean and cormfortable. No amenities in the room for making tea or coffee. Would have like some English speaking television channels. There was a lack of information pack or folder regarding any amenities available in the hotel.

If you want to check in later than 8pm big €30 fee. Check out by 10am early for Europe. Very overpriced for what it is.

• Sergey (2/5): - While other rooms in the hotel Artorius might be ok, we have got Studio room in Annex Building. The entrance was behind the corner on Via dei Serpenti. The door led to a long corridor with another lock door and tiny courtyard with almost no sunlight since it was more like a well inside the building. The room window opened into this patio, not outside the building. After entering the room, I immediately mentioned humidity, musty smell, and luck of ventilation. No iron, no safety box. In my opinion this part of the building has never been a living space, but rather a ground floor storage, converted to “hotel rooms” by owners to maximize the profit. They apparently have no shame in setting up such a tourist trap. Ok, here comes my one star review as a payback.

• RICHARD W (4/5): - Our 4 night stay was very disappointing. The double room photo on both Expedia and the hotels own website is misleading. There is only one photograph of a double room and It clearly shows an outdoor seating area, one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Our room was on the front with a standard window. They told us that only 2/10 rooms actually had the outside seating. The hotel also does not post room size in sq.m. The photos posted made the room appear much more spacious than ours actually seemed. The room itself was clean, recently renovated and comfortable enough except for the ( sagging) bed and the cramped space. The bathroom was good. There really are no amenities. There was a mini bar, but it was not fully stocked or maintained. Reception availability was part-time. The hotel does not provide breakfast, there is no coffee service and although there are many restaurants in the area, it is a several blocks to find coffee or breakfast in the morning. WiFi was a total disaster. We seldom had connection in our room, and regularly has to sit in the hotel stairway to have adequate connection. Our one attempt to have the hotel book a taxi was met with both a lack of enthusiasm and lack of confidence that we would actually get one. The hotel was not able to provide information on nearby taxi stands, even though we found one a few blocks away on Nationale. Toiletries…bring your own..two small bottles for 4 nights. There are so many better choices that Artorius.

• Danny (10/5): - This was a hidden gem, beautifully situated and convenient to restaurants, the Colisseum, and more. Our room was next off a small courtyard on the first floor with a grape vine trellis roof (full of grapes), and a nice screened porch area just for us. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff went way over and above helping us with setting up transportation to and from airport/cruise ports, and giving directions. I recommend this hotel highly!

• Alison (10/5): Highly recommend small, clean, well located hotel - The Artorius is perfectly located for the majority of sights in Rome and there were many, many, cafes and restaurants in the area. The rooms were spacious and had all amenities we required, we were able to get extra shower gel etc from reception with no fuss. The receptionists all spoke good English and were very helpful. Rooms were cleaned every day, beds made etc, shower was powerful and hot and the safe was an added bonus. The hairdryer wasn't the most powerful but I took my own in any case. The price was very reasonable and I really couldn't find anything to complain about, rather everything to recommend.

• Alexandra (9/5): A wonderful place close to the coliseum. - My stay at the Hotel Artorius was wonderful. Nice studio, just get out of the building and have the prettiest view ever : the Coliseum. The neighbourhood is a safe area, with restaurants, places to buy souvenirs, lots of families. The lady at the reception was so kind giving me all the info and just being wonderful. I got to leave my bags on the last day so I did not have to carry them around. Definitely would repeat !!!! That is a detail but the place is a bit humid. Normal thing for old buildings in the city. Once you turn the fan on, everything goes away.

• Heath (10/5): - Easy walk from Rome Termini station - easy walking distance to Colosseum and Cavour Metro station- traditional Italian style hotel with old style lift- friendly staff- had a great time - would recommend
• Joan Marie (10/5): - we had a great stay! it was in a quite area with great access to a grocery store, dining options, and public transportation. although an old property it was clean, the bed was great, the bathroom was nice, and everything worked. there was a bit of malfunction with a set of automatic doors but they were very attentive in easily resetting and getting us through.
• Dieter (9/5): - Charming hotel with a real old world feel we wanted. It was close to Metro and some attractions. Air con worked well with great water presure in the shower. Staff, friendly and helpful.

• Piera (10/5): - Very friendly staff, super clean, and comfortable room. The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood, close to the major attractions. We walked everywhere, and if tired, we took the bus. The bus stops are only a few minutes' walk away. There are very nice restaurants, cafés, minimarkets, and shops in the area. We definitely recommend it and we'll come back for our next trip to Rome!!!

• Maddison (5/5): Passable - Great location, some amazing restaurants minutes walk from the hotel. Small rooms, old carpet and old quilt covers that were all tucked in touching the fresh pillows. Didn’t feel very clean.
• Glen (8/5): - This hotel stay was exactly what we were looking for. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable, with a friendly staff. And you cannot beat the location as it is close to so many things you’ll want to see.

• felipekasabian (10/5): Beautiful stay in the heart of Rome — we’d definitely come back and recommend it to friends. - Amazing experience in Rome. Perfect location in a charming neighborhood full of narrow streets and cozy restaurants. We walked everywhere — only 8 minutes to the Colosseum, 15–20 to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, around 40–50 to the Vatican. There’s a small market right on the street, which was super helpful for grabbing snacks and drinks. There’s also a public water fountain just around the corner where we could refill our bottles. The hotel was beautiful, super clean, and full of nice little details. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved that they gave us a key so we could come back anytime, even after the main door closed. The closed entrance made us feel really safe.
