Service at breakfast was also not great. I think it was just that the staff are inexperienced. We enjoyed the stay overall.

Of course the Guinness flowed. Tram station is an easy walk, and it takes you right to the heart of the Dublin. Such a wonderful time for my wife and I.

- Charles (6/5): - Very accommodating staff, but know that the hotel is a brisk 15 minute walk from public transportation, then another 20-30 minute ride to city center. Rooms felt 10 years out of date and the bed was super firm (not in a good way)
- Leanne (2/5): - I only stayed here for one night, and that was more than enough. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on – the mattress felt cheap and worn out. The bathroom was in terrible condition: dirty, the toilet button almost impossible to press, the sink cracked, and broken tiles on the floor sharp enough that my partner actually cut her foot. This hotel being advertised as 4 stars is misleading – I honestly don’t know how it earned that rating. At best it feels neglected and poorly maintained. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone until some serious renovations and cleaning are done.

- Vikki (10/5): - We loved it. It was a great place to stay after traveling. My only con is that we were told we could walk to the hotel from the Red Cow Laus drop-off rail and bus. No, it's across the highway -- impossible to walk it especially near night. So, we had to pay a taxi from the rail line to the hotel twice. But, once we got there, it was nice!
- Caolan (6/5): A solid overnight stay for work. - Stayed here plenty of times as it's a convenient location for business trips. Rooms are a bit dated (standard double room) with varnishes wearing off here and there and the shower being the oddest arrangement (due to hidden tank/plumbing). Staff are pleasant and service is up to scratch. Breakfast is accommodating and they have an endless filter coffee station, so that makes my morning. Will continue to stay here when it's practical.

- Kaes Abdul-Setter (8/5): - Location was perfect for our needs. Staff incredibly helpful and nice. We asked for a fridge and got one in 10min. Overall, room was spacious and had what you would need except a thermostat, but this might be a local thing as the weather is typically pleasant. Hotel provided fans but they are desperate need of replacement with more powerful ones. Hotel is right on the M7 and 25min from the airport using the M50. Shopping is with walking distance, a few malls are 10min away, downtown Dublin is 40min driving depending on time of day. Overall would recommend it and appreciate the hospitality!

- Tara (10/5): - After checking in when we went to our room we say it was 3 twin beds when we booked a double and a twin. Called reception and the very promptly fixed the situation and allocated us a room that met our needs, they even brought the key to us. Breakfast in the hotel was great, great mix of cook and cold breakfast. Went to restaurant Joel’s and they had a great selection of food, plenty of it and the nicest chips my husband and me have ever ate. Handy to the Luas also to get in and out of Dublin City centre. Recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

- Angela (4/5): - The positive thing I can say about this hotel is that our room was clean and the staff were friendly. However, the rest of our stay was not the best. The shower only got hot enough if you opened a spigot for the tub. The water came straight down or squirted out the sides so it was difficult to wash your hair and yet the bathroom was easily sprayed. The toilet stopped flushing as we were leaving. The lighting is also terrible in the bathroom and there is no fan. There is no temp control in the room and it was hot and stuffy. Our second night was interrupted by multiple false fire alarms and a very loud party which must have been somewhere in the hotel. We had to get up a 5 am so we could not sleep. This hotel really needs a makeover in the facilites.

- Barry (6/5): Noisy traffic - Noisy, road facing bedroom with poor window seals leading to noisy traffic affecting sleep.
- Alice (6/5): - Light switches in room were broken. Dirty shower curtains and dirty fan in bathroom. Stained bedsheets and floor had not been hoovered. Found nail clippings from previous guests. From then I was unhappy about us and my children walking barefoot. Bedroom curtains smelt heavy with dust and smoke which really wasn't ideal with a 3 month old. Travel cot was not suitable, no proper mattress. Baby slept in our bed which was super hard and noisy and also in her pram. Big whole in the floor boards under carpet so made alot of noise walking, tried to avoid it during the night. Rooms could do with proper air con and a mini fridge. My toddler had a temperature from the heat and it was really hard trying to cool him down. Other than that, the bar staff were great, we filled up the kids water bottles each morning and night and brought some ice to the room to keep them cool. Very odd the buses are kept right beside bedroom windows. we retired earlier on our second night due to heat exhaustion and were met with beeping buses parking up to 10pm. Location of family room wasn't great because we could hear the music from the events room/hall at night, plus the 4/5 steps before our hallway was difficult with a pram. There was a little lift, but it was hard to operate and we didnt have time to wait for it each time so we ended up lifting pram up and down. WiFi connection wasn't great. Kids weren't able to watch t.v but thankfully id brought their iPads. Opted out of breakfast because of price.

- OLGA (4/5): - Housekeeping and receptionists are perfect and manage all requests. It was the worst stay, the room on the 1st floor had no air conditioning, and it was a minimum of 30 °C in the room. We got a fan, but the window opened only a little bit for everyone in the room, so there was no chance to get some sleep. You can't expect a fridge in the room, and then you can't get cold drinks. It was my hubby's birthday, and I asked for a welcome card to say Happy Birthday, before we arrived....nothing was left, which was again disappointing. The view from the window was also special for the birthday ... Welcoming at the restaurant was not so perfect, but I think after a group ( as almost all tables were complete with dirty plates), I can imagine it was a hard time. The food is good; it is all warm and looks fresh. We got a complimentary parking space and a code to get out of the parking, but if the gate is broken, what's the point of the code? As the night was really not a pleasant experience, I would not recommend that hotel to anyone.

Just a heads-up though — if you’re not a fan of walking 20 minutes to get to public transport, including parts along a motorway, this might not be the best choice for you. On the plus side, I got two glasses of Prosecco when I arrived, which was a really nice touch. The guy at the bar even offered to bring them up to my room — really appreciated that! Breakfast was great, with a nice mix of hot and cold options. The hotel is right next to the motorway — the noise didn’t really bother me, but you can still hear cars from the room. The room was a good size and had a tub, which was a nice bonus.

- Alberto (4/5): Incompetent Receptionist - Overall the hotel is not a business hotel, it is more of an holiday makers hotel and refugee accomodation hotel. Nevertheless, the biggest problem is when at checkout the receptionist refused to provide me with the receipt of payment only because I booked the hotel via hotels.com. Hotels.com clearly stated in my booking that as I decided to pay at the property, the final receipt would be given by the property. Still, the receptionist refused to provide the receipt. It took a manager to step out to tell the receptionist to issue the receipt as it was fine. Not sure why the hotel has decided to put an incompetent receptionist and on top of that give her the rights to do as she wants. Will not go back !

- Dottie (10/5): - Professional and courteous staff. Most important- clean rooms and hotel facilities. Great water pressure, hot water and drainage. Excellent breakfast options. Close to N7 and M50 expressways.

- T (10/5): - This hotel is large, has free and adequate parking and is next door to a good restaurant.

- Jennifer (10/5): Good room, good restaurant on site and nearby. - I stayed mulitple nights as I joined and left a tour group. The lower floors rooms are sufficient for a one night stay but if you want a more comfortable experience I would suggest getting a fourth floor room.
