- KathyandSteveEssex (10/5): Perfect hotel for short break in central Paris - I stayed for a weekend break with friends and this hotel is ideally situated to walk around the main sites of Paris. My room was nicely decorated, fairly compact as expected for a city centre hotel. Everything was clean and well presented. The Reception staff were very friendly and always helpful. Sebastian, in particular, did everything he could to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely return to this hotel on another trip to Paris.

- 493henriettam (10/5): Super hotel in such a great place - Really clear website and communication prior to arrival was helpful. On arrival really helpful multilingual staff. The room was well decorated and stylish. There was lots of space and useful touches. We asked for our room to be made up each day and this meant things like the sustainability ideas like refilled water were available. Breakfast had a good selection and allowed for me to have gluten free options. The hotel is so well placed and is in itself a beautiful building. You can be at the Louvre or a delightful restaurant within a couple of minutes.

La chambre , pour laquelle nous avions bien spécifié vouloir deux lits était si étroite que les deux lits simples étaient collés et de ce fait cela faisait comme un lit double .. La salle de bain était très mal éclairée ( impossible de se maquiller ) . Le petit déjeuner se trouvait dans une salle verrière où il faisait froid , l'eau chaude à disposition dans une thermos était pleine de calcaire le premier jour et marron le deuxième jour ( probablement du café mal rincé ) . Pas de choix dans le pain , et peu de choix dans les laitages . Le café lui aussi en thermos , pas franchement adapté à la clientèle actuelle .

Our luggage did not arrive with us to Paris but the staff checked on us each day until our luggage arrived. They were so kind and friendly our entire stay. We loved everything.

For all the tourists spots you couldn’t get better My husband booked a junior suite which on reflection was pretty shabby in lots of areas… Our room was round the back looking directly onto the cathedral, the bell ringing was beautiful Check in was really friendly and swift… Unfortunately our room was very tired, damaged door frames, skirting boards, old shower rails still on the ceiling no longer in use… the bathroom was very small and lack of storage space… Skimpy with fresh towels and on the last day just enough loo roll left for what you needed, no fresh rolls????? Our main issue was breakfast service… I would suggest eating out as we discovered too late…there are lots of beautiful cafes in the area My husband paid extra for this so the first morning I said nothing..we arrived at the breakfast room at 10am, service finished at 10.30am so I thought they had maybe had a busy morning due to the selection left… stale cakes and odd pieces of cheese.. The next few mornings it was obvious this is how it was no matter how early you went down to the breakfast area… Be prepared to ask for everything… even down to teaspoons service was particularly bad the days a female team member was on One morning, no coffee in the pot or self serve urn?????? Then no milk in the shared jug??? The next morning at 9am I managed to get scrambled egg and bacon only to find it was freezing! The team member zapped it in the microwave…but seriously is this right for the money we paid? Last morning was the final crunch for me, I had to ask for bread for the toaster and all the fruit yoghurts were empty… I was told by the female team member… ‘ there is none, we have no delivery till Friday try again tomorrow!!!!’ But we were leaving that morning..so I reported to reception as this really is not acceptable or what my husband had paid for… Within minutes, bread was brought out, she was filling up the fridges with yoghurts.. why is it all kept in the back????? So yes…I would skip breakfast there… Breakfast is usually a real treat for us on holiday…this was anything but! I used the bar area once, lovely decor but again very odd service… Bar lights were off and team member in the back stood in the dark also…are they on a budget I wonder??? the whole hotel felt like it was being run on minimum everything… So if you need something ask, this seems to be the policy…

Ook heeft het hotel mijn jarige vriendin verrast. - Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt ook glutenvrije opties! - Perfecte locatie om Parijs te verkennen en alle highlight op loopafstand te bezoeken. - Grote kamer voor ‘Parijse begrippen’ - Helaas stond de temperatuur bij aankomst erg hoog in de kamer (26 graden) waardoor het erg warm was. - Het is best wel gehorig.

- Isabel (10/5): I'll be back when i booked the reservation they hot back to me right away with a confirmation assuring me i was good - Mostly the staff the front desk Sebastian is a true professional attention to detail was his strong points. The breakfast hostess Tamina was amazing, kind, attentive & professional. Breakfast was always ready at 7am and good. This was minor but being in the hotel business for 20 years its important. In the shower stall they have a shampoo & conditioner dispenser. No soap dispenser inside the stall. Its outside by the sink. Outside the stall they was body lotion btw all good products. The blow dryer is great but you have to hold the knob down to make sure it stays on. No wash clothes or hand towels just really big towels wrap around you really good. Those are minor things. Coffee/ tea displays great. Closet space great. Refrigerator good. The view from my balcony was amazing ! I love Paris & its ppl

- Ioana Ruxandra (8/5): - We stayed here for the second time because we really loved the convenient location of the hotel. The reception staff is very helpful and attentive. This time around we were a bit disappointed by the housekeeping staff. We found a dirty robe that had used tissues inside, dust under the furniture and molding on the bathroom window. The staff entered our room even when the Do Not Disturb sign was on and went through our shopping bags We accidentally forgot a makeup mirror in the bathroom and the housekeeping staff claimed that nothing had been found. Given our experience with the housekeeping team during our stay, we think the item was simply taken.

- lara (7/5): Buon Hotel in posizione perfetta - Camera standard carina , io e mia madre ne abbiamo prese 2 e da soli va bene, in 2 sarebbe stato soffocante e il bagno è in una cabina trasparente. Colazione ottima, sembra scarsa ma in realtà c'è di tutto. Receptionist ,oltre che gentili, sono anche simpatici. Posizione perfetta per raggiungere tutte le attrazioni. L' hotel è affascinante. La posizione interna sulla chiesa è perfetta per attutire i rumori dalla strada. La doccia è completamente da rifare, pavimento consumato , Il supporto della doccia si stava staccando. L' acqua scende poco e la sera non è calda ma tiepida (tenendo conto che si gelava sarebbe stata meglio bollente). L'aria condizionata per fare uscire l'aria calda è rumorosissima e siccome non ci sono i riscaldamenti, la notte è meglio spegnerla se non si sopportano i rumori forti e cosi la camera diventa un freezer. Non è dovuto all' hotel ma ho avuto la sfortuna ,per 2 notti, di avere coppie che urlavano (piu grandi pianti)alle 3 di notte con il resto del piano che interveniva e faceva ancora piu baldoria. È intervenuto il receptionist e tutto è migliorato.

- Catrin (8/5): - Great location for everything. It was about a 20minutes walk to the notre dame. Pyramid metro stop was at the end of the street. Plenty of places to eat nearby. About a 10 minute walk to the louvre museum. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful Our neighbours were very noisy, obviously not the hotels fault but bear in mind that the walls are thin. Road wasn’t noisy

- Gina (8/5): Excellent staff, great location - The hospitality of the staff was excellent. The location is very easy to find from the Pyramids metro stop and handy to reach lots of tourist sites. The bathroom door handle was stiff to turn the knob, and it needs repaired.

Vaak al dingen op die niet werden aangevuld. Vaak niet opgeruimde tafels om je heen. Geen verzorgde indruk al met al Gedateerd hotel, oud en versleten. Onderhoud door Beun de Haas
