Guest Reviews
- MIKIYAS (10/5): - Shops nearby
- Becky (10/5): - awesome service and accommodation
- Ibrar (10/5): - excellent
- Sharee (10/5): Great overnight stay - Our flight arrived early so we were delighted that they were able to give us access to the room at 10:30am. Of course this isn't a given for every booking.
The room was massive and included a fridge and jug (but no cups or any coffee/tea??).
The hotel is surrounded by supermarkets, shops, restaurants etc so was very convenient for a one night stay.
Only negative was there was a leak from under the shower screen so the bathroom floor was wet and slippery.
- shirazm414 (2/5): Poor facilities and service. Not recommended. - 1. Not a welcoming place
2. Room service - got ignored and had to remind to even get a bottle of water
3. Room was not cleaned. When reminded was told they will send room cleaner but never happened. Had to sleep the second night on unclean bed.
4. No proper hot water in basin and shower. Got only Luke warm water. Couldn't shower.
Will not recommend and will not visit again.
- Karim (2/5): - It should be fully reinvented
- Shahzaib (2/5): - Not at all the way it appeared on the website
- Chris (10/5): good value stop over hotel - Only one nght
- dilankumard (2/5): Poor service from the security guard REHAN - VERY POOR SERVICE FROM SECURITY GUARD RIHAN , BAD BEHEVE, 0 Customer service
I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received from your company on March 18 2024. I was visited tonight to your Nihal Hotel Al Murakabad branch, i am a regular guest from your hotel, usually i come with my wife and sometimes alone to your restaurants and bar we like the food and services from your staff, but today it was not good experience, around 11pm i was visit to your hotel to dine in so i came with my electric bike so i want a park my bike back side of your hotel in your garage like usual i do and dine, but today security guard name ( Rihan) he was so rude and had bad behavior and pushed my bike also very bad customer service
In that night no duty manager to handle this kind of complaint
I WORTE A EMAIL TO THEM BUT NO RESPONSE
- Nick (4/5): - The guest room I was given has an old bed and even older spring mattress. The room was spacious but hard to sleep in. The service from the people was great. Hotel Just needs a renovation and upgrade.
The second room I was transferred to was so much better.
- Pius (8/5): - Had a great stay there and the hotel is centrally located which eases movement around the city
- hassan (2/5): - Dirty
- Climber15268956014 (2/5): BAD EXPERIENCE!! - Don’t be fooled by the glossy photos. This hotel needs to CLOSE, is filthy, and dirty inside and outside. I have been to Dubai a few times, and I have never seen like this hotel dirty. The smell of the bedroom, the bathroom without soap and towel. This is SCAMM, they take your money. THIS HOTEL NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN.
- Ahmed (2/5): - Staff are nice and quick to bring you what you need.
Everything else is horrible.
I stayed 3 nights and each night it became a ritual to kill 2-5 cockroaches daily.
Even tho my budget was tight, I would have stayed elsewhere.
- Verified traveler (2/5): If u want to save money (Not worth it) - This hotel should be rated as 1☆. This is NOT a FAMILY hotel. The interior is so outdated and old school. The room had broken drawer. Bathroom Bidet spray was dripping rarher leaking. Toilet would not flush. The room had a false ODOR. You step out the hotel and your surrounded by women who provide sensual services. Hotel itself had mutiple south asian style Bar, where u watch girls dancing (Wont even call it a dance). Over all the location and price was ok but never again. YOU have been warned too.
- Ali (2/5): - Terrible! There were bed bugs, dirty sheets, dirty towels and staff didn’t do anything about it!
- MOHAMMED (4/5): The bed is very disappointing. - Location is good. Very old Hotel. Rooms are very big. But the beds are too small. Single bed is probable 90cm & double bed is 120cm. The bed is disappointing.
- REZA (2/5): - dirty bathroom. water coming from bathroom celling. tabs broken. lots of cockroaches in the room.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Bad stay - Bugs, cockroaches every day. There must be a nest somewhere in the room or outside the room
- mohhammad (2/5): - No parking
- 244makm (10/5): Best service - I had wonder full time in the bar on ground floor in nihal hotel rigga the service was amazing the staff were amazing specially kanika and the music the bounce were also friendly i had amazing time here
- sonuan (6/5): Average budget friendly - positives - Good location , all access near by very spacious room 707, budget friendly
negatives - room service very bad, no maintenance , no carparking , needs to call daily for room clean or any room service, Minibar was very dirty, exhaust was not working.
Reception staff are very friendly,
- DBIDHURI (10/5): Good location of Hotel - Stay at Nihal hotel for 1 night...very good location... walking distance to metro station Al Riggha.....check in was quick...room was clean and comfortable and price also worthy for services....we had comfortable stay ... breakfast was good as well .. recommended to stay in Hotel Nihal .
- 912jonathanb912 (2/5): Don’t be fooled by the glossy photos - I booked a non smoking delux room. When I got to the room the smell of tobacco was unbelievable. The bell boy said he could smell nothing and it was a non smoking room even though I spotted an ashtray. They showed me another room room which again smelt of tobacco and an ashtray. The third room was a lot smaller but the smell wasn’t as strong but it was still a smoking room as it had an ashtray. The net curtains were tied back with face masks and were filthy. The tv didn’t work properly and the safe didn’t work at all.The room itself I would describe as a 2 star and the bathroom was shocking. I tried to complain but it fell on deaf ears. On checkout I complained again saying I paid for a deluxe non smoking room but got a single smoking room and asked for the price difference to be refunded to which they said “no”. I even took the manager to the room to show him the problems and he still said no to a partial refund. The only good thing was the nightclub.
If you’ve got any standards don’t stay here
- 272gayanm (10/5): Big rooms - I have stayed 6 nights at this hotel and since I have traveled to Dubai as solo travel this hotel rooms are very big. Worth for money. Hotel is close to metro and every places. Staffs are very friendly and clean as well. If you are family this is room enough for you. Well recommend
- Martinntege (8/5): In love with the customer care - I was really treated well by all people at the hotel and I loved the breakfast and the lady that served it was pretty kind and helpful thanks guys. hope to receive more next time wish you the best.Rooms are very clean and quite and room service is on point
- Alghezi (10/5): - Nice ppl and a good service ! The night shift manger is a gentlemen
- mones75 (4/5): Old fashioned Hotel - Location is good in Deira , Maktoum Road , outdated furniture , got Room for one Night for 35 US$ , toilet water pressure weak , better NOT to include breakfast , have many alternatives nearby ,Hotel Do need refurbishment
- Ibrahim (6/5): - They didn't provide mini bar.
In photo there is sofa but in actual it was an empty big room.
When we left for breakfast they locked our room, we cannot access it and we need to go down to let the reception give us access again.
- roydand (2/5): No respect - I book the hotel on Thursday night until Saturday 12am. but they told me that i have book the hotel only until Friday 12 pm and i was trying to explain nipun about it.but as a manager he was very bad he told me that i have only 1 hours time to go. and i told him can you check with your night manager who booked me the room and he's reply was nw you need to go and if you want you can come at 7pm night and check with him. i was really enjoying the hotel.the morning Room service guy was amazing but i didn't think it will end my day like this and pay 360 AED for one day stay.the management should teach nipun how to respect people cz we pay money and it's very bad what he did to me. room number (510)
- Dealoceans (4/5): Not impressed - Stayed here for 6 days and was treated like an outcast. Only my money served respect for me. Everything here even to ice cubes are for sale.
It I'd not a homely smand friendly hotel, though the room I was given was way better than my previous visit.
- ROBINS (8/5): Good Hotel - Friendliness and cleanliness., only water pressure from Comfort Rooms are not that good.
Overall ok
- Voyageuse-solo123 (2/5): The worst ever hotel - I had a terrible experience in this hotel.the heater of room does not work at all which makes the room gets very cold during night.the bathroom is so dirty.Besides, the pressure of water is so slow and water does not drain completely. It is super noisy hotel which disrupts sleep
furthermore, there is very limited option in the breakfast buffet.I don't recommend it to anyone.
- DawoodA8 (2/5): Worst experience my family is going through - my wife is accompanied by a 1 year old daughter and another 5 year old daughter.
Just reached the hotel after a more than 24 hours of travelling from New Zealand to hear that you are required to pay for tonight because you are too early to check-in however have a confirmation email from for two nights i.e. 26 and 27.
interestingly my family will be staying there just for a night as they have another flight to catch tomorrow evening but the hotel staff is making the most out of my family tired situation.
so much disappointed.
- Mahisanka (8/5): Friendly staff and tasty food but old hotel - Very good service offered by the staff and food also great.
We had breakfast in restaurant and ordered few dishes for dinner everything is really good.
only issue was the hotel is old and wash rooms are not nice.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - very niece hotel than you I love it ......................
- Traveler-UK2000 (2/5): Hidden Deposit..will not stay again. - The property is getting old and needs a refurb urgently bathrooms are the main area everyone is complaining about, water pressure too low in shower, and also they ask for 100-200dhs Deposit during your stay which is not mentioned anywhere on the booking and it was all paid for beforehand, so why DEPOSIT??
If you don’t trust your guests you simply don’t take bookings and shut down the place.
- Mewasi (8/5): Mewasing Rajcoomar- Mauritius - Stayed there in April 2019. Very good hotel, spacious room.clean toilet and bathroom. Open buffet breakfast was ,really delicious, with good spread. Front desk staff, especially Mr Nipun, were really very helpful. Real professional. Stayed with a group of 42 people. We really had a nice time. Planning to go again.
- sh-trip (4/5): A short stay in Dubai - we were a family of 4 person....we wanted stay somewhere in city center especially near Al-Rigga avenue.so we chose that hotel. most of the hotel spaces is not as good as something you expect.acceptable breakfast respect to you payment. our room had the food odor most of the time because the passage of hood .the toilet service could be better .good hotel for easy and low-money- payment in dubai.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Every thing was good but linens and towels.they were clean but too old. Toilet flush was a bit challenge.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Area with easy access to metro, lots of facilities locally, nice hotel.
At the end of the day, this is a brilliantly priced hotel.
- Ehsan (6/5): Never going back. - Room was smelly.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Only locations to the City and airport Close the shop and shopping and a lot of the restaurant
- Samer (6/5): 2 Nights at Nihal Hotel - Staff are friendly but hotel is old and they didn't clean the room well. There were few insects in the room
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff was very nice helped us with luggage laundry and the check in was not until 2Pm we arrived at the hotel at 8 am they checked us in 9am! Very good hotel service totally worth it! Helped us with tax services too
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The water pressure in the bath room was very low.
The flush (toilet) didn't work. The reception was notified 3 times.
The night club inside the hotel was open until 3 am. Loud noises disturbed sleep. Loud bass sound caused the furniture to vibrate.
The breakfast coffee is not palatable. The variety of the breakfast was poor. The toaster didn't work properly.
- Amir (4/5): - Not very clean noisy few roaches in the room pretty old place
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great Indian food - The best part about this hotel is the Indian food in the restaurant, the service is also very good. The hotel is generally very tired and in need of an update.
- Mohammad (4/5): Dirty - Very dirty! Not worthy it! But the staff are nice .
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Conveniently located, near to super market , restaurants and mainly Metro station.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Convenient but basic-but I only stayed overnight so ok for me
- DayTrip100334 (10/5): Excellent Staff especially Mr Shushant, Manager in the Kitchen. - During our stay in the hotel we find everything was excellent, except wifi in the 7th Floor. Though I informed the reception etc but the problem was not rectified during my stay for 5 days. Kitchen lay out specially the all out help by Mr Sushant is unforgetful. GOD bless Mr Sushant, Manager Kitchen/ Resturant.
- CODEINDIA (8/5): Students Group Tour - A wonderful experience, very good staff (Mr. Sagheer, Mr. Nipun, Mr. Abdul, Mr. Alam to name a few)
nice big rooms and a very good buffet breakfast to start the day with. An overall excellent stay for a full six days.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - He has good place near to metro station of el regga . And near to popular street who has supermarket . And restaurant . I think it good place .
- Sabrina (2/5): - Hotel have a cockroach and Shetty customer service and water leakage from the roof،
- Aamir (6/5): - Ok not a good place.
- Thomas (10/5): Great Hotel in the heart of Deira. - Very much enjoyed my 12 night stay in this hotel. Very big room - much bigger than average in Dubai. Great amenities - outside swimming pool, multi-cuisine in house restaurant & the most important for me: Great breakfast which is a combination of continental breakfast (toast, eggs, jam, croissants, magdalenas/muffins, pancakes, sausages, baked beans etc) with Indian breakfast (chicken keema or fry, chana dal, rice with curry, noodles with vegetables etc). Though I am European I truly loved the Indian part. Service and reception staff very helpful & customer oriented.
- shivbachan (8/5): Good to stay spacious room - Very Good and close to city centre and market parking iOS ok
- Nausheen (4/5): - Not up to my standard. Not very clean. No basic facilities available in the room. Breakfast was very basic. Annoying perfume smell in the lobby & lifts.
- aska (6/5): Not bad - Not bad
- Yousef (10/5): - It was very nice ,clean, Polit staff
I Enjoy my staying in Nihal hotles to.maximum.
- Harbi (4/5): not good hotel to stay - Old furniture in the room and toilet not clean, not easy to find taxi.
- Deirdre (10/5): Nihal Hotel near airport in Dubai - I was only passing through Dubai, but if i would have had extra time this was a beautiful hotel in a great neighborhood.
- Ajaz (8/5): - Need a place for an overnight lay over. Decent place for the price. Have to pay for airport shuttle, better to take the taxi cheaper.
- Luisa (2/5): Not good Nihal Hotel - The room has no TV. There was a TV outside of the room, at the entrance of the room. The bathroom was old, shower was clogged, with black tiles, very depressing. I went there with my daughter, and they refused to give us a second key, so every time I went out and came back I had to ask the reception to go open my door. This was absolutely ridiculous. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anybody: BAD ENVIRONMENT, BAD SERVICE, UGLY ROOM.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good Hotel - This Hotel is centrally located which is good. Plenty of shops and malls within walking distance. Located in the hotel itself is a fantastic Chinese Rest- which the food is outstanding. It is a older hotel but if you are on a budget this is the place for you. The hotel staff is outstanding.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Proximity to Airport and shopping for essentials
- Verified traveler (6/5): Pleasant stay - I've stayed for 6 nights, and was pleased to find that the hotel is not as bad as others have evaluated it, it is average economical hotel in good location near to Rigga metro station...
- Joseph (8/5): - Good value, breakfast too much slanted towards indian food. would have liked to see better variety of cereals and fresh fruit.
Room on 4th floor was supposed to be non-smoking but a clear tobacco stench was obvious and all my clothes ended up getting it.
I also did not like the fact that you are not allowed to have a cup of tea or coffee in the room!
also had noisy meighbours all night and had to request a room change.
Shuttle service to and from hotel to airport is available at 50Dh and is cheaper than taxi which cost us 87.50Dh
- Verified traveler (6/5): Paid for a king -- got twin beds - My major issue with the hotel was that my company pre-paid for a king bed and that not was honored, I got two twins instead. Also, hotel brochures note that there is Wi-Fi but in fact that is a paid service for AED 40 for 24-hours. A business traveler cannot do without Wi-Fi and not noting that it is an extra charge leaves a bad taste in one's mouth. My recommedation for this hotel is therefore lukewarm. It is well-located for business.
- S (2/5): Very Bad Experican - I sting at this hotel was really bad experience......some how I have forced to pay for the water I have never teach for the refrigerator, First of all I brought water from out side and they took at the empty bottle form the west basket and they said that I have to pay they holed my pass port against one single water came from out side. If I said I haven't used any why they have to hold my pass port, this not a good service at all I don't think I want to stay this hotel next time, I was actually refereed by friend some how my experience is really bad
- Dr. Bechir (4/5): Hotel Nihal in Dubai - I stayed in this hotel several times before and have noticed that the general status of the hotel is getting bad. The owner of this hotel should do something to keep with the competition. If you stay in the second to the six floor you want be able to sleep because the noise coming from the disco in the first floor. I have chosen the seven floor and there is no hot water. You get the hot water only for 5 minutes and that is all. The maintenance guy told me there is nothing, he can do about it, because the reservoir for hot water is too small and it needs to be change it. If you want to watch the news in the TV there is nothing. The TV has only 3 or 4 Indians channels. All the other channels have bad signals. The only good things about this hotel (and this apply to most hotels in Dubai) the personals are nice and helpfull. This hotel should be rated 2 starts till they remold everything.
- Abdulla Abouhajar (8/5): - As Nihal hotel is a 3star hotel , I feel fully satisfied with my stay in it from Jan.24th to 27th .
Every thing has good ended as it was started .
Thanks again for all of you .
