• Kolymbas (8/5): Angenehmer Aufenthalt im Zentrum von Athen - Toplage im Zentrum, nahe U-Bahn-Station. Frühstück für griech. Verhältnisse gut, Zimmer angenehm groß. Wasser wurde jeden Tag frisch bereitgestellt. Am tollsten aber war das Rooftop-Restaurant (auch Bar) mit grandiosem Rundumblick (Akropolis, Lycabettus), Mitarbeiter dort ausgesprochen freundlich. Unbedingt besuchen und reservieren! Die Zimmer sind schon etwas abgewohnt, bräuchten eigentlich ein Refreshing:)

Perfekte Anbindung zu öffentlichen Verkehrmitteln am Knotenpunkt Syntagma. Einfache Möglichkeit mit Bus oder Bahn zum Flughafen, oder nach Piraeus zu gelangen. Komplette Innenstadt und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten fussläufig zu erreichen Sehr schönes Rooftop-Restaurant mit Blick auf die Akropolis. Fahren Sie nicht an den Osterfeierlichkeiten der griechisch-orthodoxen Kirche nach Athen. Viele Restaurants, die meisten Geschäfte und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind dann geschlossen.

• LAURA (9/5): 4 giorni ad Atene - Posizione centrale, comoda per muoversi a piedi nel centro città. Comodi anche i mezzi pubblici, in particolare la metro che collega all'aeroporto. Camera confortevole, con bagno ampio. Temperatura regolabile autonomamente, letto e cuscino comodi. Il servizio di pulizia è cambio biancheria ottimo. Colazione a buffet molto ricca, sia dolce che salato (peccato non ci fosse lo yogurt). Il bar è uno spazio accogliente, aperto fino a sera, dove abbiamo bevuto un ottimo iced espresso. Abbiamo cenato nel ristorante all'ultimo piano: ottima cena, vista pazzesca, locale raffinato (non economico). La posizione centrale si è dimostrata anche sfavorevole. Abbiamo lasciato l'hotel il 1 maggio, giorno in cui anche ad Atene si svolge una grande manifestazione e i lavoratori del comparto dei mezzi pubblici erano in sciopero. Inoltre, la manifestazione passava davanti alla struttura, quindi abbiamo dovuto spostarci a piedi con le valigie per trovare un taxi. Mi sarei aspettata di essere avvisata di persona il giorno dell'arrivo durante il check in. La direzione ha comunque informato dello sciopero tramite un comunicato scritto, affisso negli ascensori il 30 aprile. Quindi, consiglio di prendere sempre l'ascensore.

Hotel and rooms are just a bit outdated, it didn't bother much but a few upgrades are welcome. The room bathroom had a little smell out of the drainage.

• Emre (10/5): Otele sabah checkin saatinden çok önce giriş yaptık, bize çok kısa zamanda bir oda hazırladılar, bu oda hazırlanana kada - Otel Sintagma meydanında, havalimanından X95 kodlu otobüsle çok kolay ulaşılıyor, görülmesi gereken tüm yerlere yürüme mesafesinde. Tesiste hiçbir olumsuz durum görmedim.

There was no iron in the room - when I called for one, they said I need to go to the staff room on the 4th floor (where the keep the linens and the used room service trays) and iron there!

• Emanuela (4/5): Well located, room rather uncomfortable. - Location is excellent, in the middle of everything. Very close to Plaka, Acropolis and important sites/museums. Also, the roof top restaurant has a great view on 2/3 of the city (if not more). Our room was small and dark, facing a wall with all the air conditioning noise going on day & night. The bathroom was small, as small as in a plane. The a/c was apparently not working on heating mode and the room was quite cold. Unfortunately, I have to blame Booking for this, because the picture mislead us in my choice of room type.

Opposite the metro station and round the corner from the airport bus. Opposite a nice park too. Nothing much I can think of. It is on the main road but my room was round the back so no view but quiet.

• Meltem (9/5): - Great location, near to Metro, near to all attractions by walking, wide room, daily cleaning. They upgraded our room to a better one (park view instead of courtyard) for free. Lots of road noise from the outside during the night. Poor sound isolation in windows.

• Maria Oik (10/5): - Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, με καταπληκτική θέα από το μπαλκόνι πάνω στη Λεωφ. Αμαλίας, του Λυκαβηττού, του Εθνικού Κήπου, της Βουλής και του Καλλιμάρμαρου!! Το προσωπικό ευγενέστατο και εξυπηρετικότατο!! Παλιά διακόσμηση στο εσωτερικό, αλλά εξαιρετικά καθαρά και περιποιημένα όλα!! Είναι βέβαιο πως θα το ξαναεπιλέξω στην επόμενη επίσκεψή μου στην Αθήνα!!
