Important Information

A security deposit will be required at the property. Swimming pool will be temporarily closed for maintenance from May 19, 2025 to May 22, 2025. This closure is necessary to carry out essential upgrades and repairs. The swimming pool will reopen on May 23, 2025 Renovation work of the dining area will be carried out from 7th Februar, 2025 and it is expected to take approximately three months to be completed.

The dark bathroom spoiled ever - The staff was very friendly, well dressed and extremely professional. The lobby was well done and comfortable. We didn’t eat breakfast, but the dinner options were good. The bed is much too firm for more than a few days stay. Terrible WiFi. Too slow for iPad or phone connection. We have unlimited data so the worst part was the gloomy very dimming lit bathroom. When looking in the mirror There are two dim bulbs behind you so your reflection is in the shadows but there is an accent light BEHIND the mirror. Go figure. I called the desk and complained and asked if the bulbs could be replaced. They sent a guy up, but but he said there’s nothing he could do. Room 1104

Terry (3/5): See above' Photos of what was the gym attached. - I have previously used this hotel due to proximity to nearby Bangkok Hospital. This time I would not be visiting the hospital but booked the hotel for a one-night family stay anyway due to room size, price and having an excellent gym facility. Sadly when I went to the 5th floor to use the gym on exiting the elevator I was met by a dusty cement floor. At first I thought I had arrived in the basement by mistake and I re-entered the elevator to check. Sure enough I was on the 5th floor and when I looked through the darkness (it was early evening) I could see the silhouette of what had once been the gym area. The floor had literally been gutted back to bare cement walls and floor. No partition walls, nothing left. I went to Reception and asked 'Has the gym been moved?' The answer was 'The gym is Closed.' I said 'No. Not closed. GONE.' I complained that there should be something on the website or when people book to inform them of this. Or at least inform guests when they check in. Sadly will not be using A One again unless need to be near the hospital.

They wanted to charge us 2500 Baht for a bed sheet that was marked with pen, which they lied us that they had tried to wash it away. When we demanded them to give us the bed sheet, they came two people to our room, one taking video and one with the sheet that was not washed at all. We washed it with our hand and pen mark was easily away. We told the manager that it is rude to treat customers like that and they apologized. These people wants us to take our money by lying. I will never book the same hotel again.

Then this hotel is probably it... - The hotel itself is nice, but the rooms are dated and with things in need of repairs. My room's AC thermostat wasn't functioning properly, the bathroom sink was almost completely clogged up, and pillows that guaranteed sore necks in the morning. The location is inconvenient as it's about 20 minutes outside of Bangkok downtown tourist area. Most of all, except for the wait staff in the restaurant, the rest of the service personnel was not that good. In particular, the daytime woman Asst. Manager, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She refused to let hotel guest's visitors to go up in the room and stated that they must stay in the lobby only, and I'm talking about a friend visitor not a visiting sex worker. This hotel has a cheap price for a reason, as it's unlikely they'll get lots of happy repeat customers.

The two star rating I'm giving doesn't reflect the physical hotel which could be a 4 star plus hotel, it's a reflection of the staff and management. The staff ranged from unfriendly/unwelcoming to downright rude. I don't know if they dislike Americans or are just rude to everyone but I would advise my fellow Americans if you are looking for a hotel to stay at in Bangkok go ahead and skip this place.

Nee (6/5): With the price we paid, we expected to have a better experience than we had. - Only if you have to go to Bangkok Hospital and you are in a group tours, the location works. If you are individual traveler, the location is not convenient to access to the BTS. We did not take breakfast at hotel. Room is good and clean. The Bed is comfortable. The Airconditioning is very noisy. The bathroom is not good for the elderly people because its floor is lower than the room's floor. The pillow is too hard. The corridor floor boards are lifting. It could cause an accident. The hotel is under renovation around the escalator. They should have put more signs of "danger" to warn the guests not to trip and fall.

Great facilities, clean gym and good large swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of busses tour groups use this hotel so it does get very busy in the restaurant and reception areas at some times
