- GEORGIOS (8/5): A nice hotel with a slightly lucrative policy - Staff was very kind, helpful and responsive. Facilities very clean and well maintained, excellent soundproofing despite being on a busy street. Location was very good for my needs, a bit far off for visiting the city center but still at a walkable distance. Wifi was fine, in-house restaurant open till 22:00 was a plus. There were some not-so-important glitches (did the online check-in and was asked to do it again upon arriving because "it doesn't always show up in the system", was allocated a room that was not made up yet, breakfast buffet layout and facilities not ideal, desk in the room shown as standard in the list of amenities but not offered in reality); however what annoyed me more was a feeling that the hotel is trying to minimise its operating costs and increase its profits in a way that makes you feel less welcome: you are encouraged to skip daily cleaning (which I would anyway do, but being given a voucher at check-in advertising extra bonus points when doing so goes perhaps a bit far), you are not offered any amenities beyond hand soap, shampoo and body shower but are requested to ask for such amenities when necessary, when arriving a bit earlier than normal check-in time you will be asked to pay an additional 29€ to enter the room. Not sure if these are common to the entire Novotel brand but this approach puts me off from booking again. Pity because the staff did their best to make my stay a very good one.

Kein Besteck zu finden, am Tisch war keine Teller beim Gebäck ist nicht zu finden Marmalade mit hochen Glas ohne entsprechende n Löffel rauszunehmen dazu Beim Auschecken ist kein Kuvert für die Rechnung

- Juan Emilio (5/5): Disappointed - The location was central 1. Normally we spend the birthday of my wife in a hotel and normally the hotels have a gesture with her. This is the first time nothing was organised even if we provided her birth date in the registration. 2. The breakfast was overcrowded and we had to wait a lot to get a table. We had to split the family. 3. We were two families and we asked at the registration to give us the rooms together which the didn’t even try. No alternative was offered.

- Monika (9/5): Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Wien - Der Aufenthalt war rundherum gelungen - Personal, Zimmer und Lage. Es hätte nicht besser sein können. Beim Frühstück gab es zeitweise sehr lange Schlangen. Wir konnten leider ein Mal das Frühstück nicht in Anspruch nehmen, da wir eine Führung gebucht hatten und zeitlich sehr knapp dran gewesen wären.

Buen desayuno, con variedad. Muy buen aseo del cuarto e instalaciones en general. Amabilidad del personal, en especial de Pablo. Todo bien.

- Jack (7/5): Good, but will not be returning unless I know 100% they put normal matrasses on the beds. - Everything was good, besides one important thing. The matrasses in all rooms happen to be extremely hard. I could not sleep properly for 3 days straight. Staff tried to help by putting some cover and blanket on it, did not help at all. They did all they could. The cover was in high demand as I’ve heard from the staff, so I’m not the only one. Problem is in the management, they should fix this ASAP. Unacceptable for nearly 150€ a night. I paid that money for comfort. Not to sleep on a matras that feels like the floor.
- Katarzyna (10/5): Fajny hotel dla rodzin z dziećmi. - Przyjemny hotel. Wygodne łóżko i duża rozkładana sofa dla dziecka, nawet większy nastolatek wygodnie się wyśpi. W pokoju ekspres do kawy na kapsułki, lodówka, sejf, w łazience lusterko do makijażu, szampon, żel pod prysznic i mydło marki Rituals. Do 15 roku życia śniadania gratis (miłe zaskoczenie). Śniadania bardzo dobre i duży wybór. Drewniane karty do pokoju, w TV znalazłam trzy kanały polskojęzyczne. Siłownia i kącik dla młodszych dzieci. W recepcji dostępna mapa miasta i atrakcji po polsku. Nie korzystałam z metra, bo większość głównych atrakcji jest w zasięgu 30 minut na piechotę. Muszla klozetowa w toalecie powieszona jest nietypowo wysoko. Jestem niska, nogi mi ledwo dosięgały podłogi.

Klimatyzavja nie dzialala, co na 6 pietrze niestety nie bylo komfortowe przy 28’ temperatury na zewnatrz. Personel, szczegolnie ten restauracyjny, jakby byl tam za kare.

Cosmetics are Rituals and there is a filled in complimentary minibar with some snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. A lot of nice restaurants and bars in walking distance. - Monica (8/5): Consigliato, ubicazione ottima - Noi abbiamo soggiornato al Novotel Wien City, situato nel quartiere di Leopoldstadt, una zona molto comoda e strategica tra il centro storico di Vienna e il Prater. La posizione è davvero uno dei punti di forza: in 15/20 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il centro (Stephansplatz), ma allo stesso tempo si è in un’area più tranquilla rispetto alle vie più turistiche. L’hotel è moderno, funzionale e adatto sia a coppie che a famiglie. Le camere sono spaziose (a parte il bagno, un po' angusto), pulite e ben insonorizzate. La colazione è varia e di buona qualità, con opzioni sia dolci che salate (cara per gli standard italiani ma probabilmente in linea con i prezzi locali).

- Rajapriyadharshini (2/5): An uncomfortable stay with poor climate control and limited breakfast options. - The location of the property is good Why was the air conditioning turned off even though it’s hot outside? Citing sustainability while leaving guests uncomfortable in the heat isn’t what I’d expect from a four-star hotel. Customer comfort should always come first. Also, the breakfast options were quite limited.
- Sónia (6/5): Boa localização e camas confortáveis, mas a estadia foi prejudicada pela falta de ar condicionado. - A localização é excelente para quem pretende explorar o centro de Praga e também a zona do Parque Prater, estando a poucos minutos dos principais pontos turísticos da cidade. Nas proximidades do hotel há diversas opções de cafés, pequenos-almoços e restaurantes, o que se revelou bastante conveniente — especialmente tendo em conta que o pequeno-almoço do hotel é relativamente caro. O quarto apresentava as condições mínimas para uma estadia curta de duas noites, e as camas eram confortáveis. No entanto, o sistema de ar condicionado não estava a funcionar, o que acabou por comprometer bastante o nosso descanso — praticamente não conseguimos dormir devido ao calor. Contactámos a receção para perceber a situação e informaram-nos de que estavam a enfrentar problemas técnicos, com previsão de resolução apenas no dia do nosso check-out. Ainda tentaram disponibilizar um ar condicionado portátil, mas já não tinham nenhum disponível.

Ask one staff member for gluten free bread said No then walked off we asked for some cups for tea and she brought us one cup there was 3 of us in our party. The cooling system was not working the room was boiling hot and the advice we received was to open the window, we were situated on a main road. We booked executive room for 3, it was most definitely not an executive room. You had to leave the toilet to go to the shower room to wash your hands !!!

- Caterina (9/5): Hotel in posizine ideale per visitare la città - Ottima posizione,poco fuori dal centro che si può raggiungere facilmente a piedi , così come il Prater anch’esso facilmente raggiungibile a piedi . Vicino a diversi locali lungo il fiume Danubio .Colazione molto varia e abbondante. Personale gentile Stanze familiari dí dimensioni un pó piccole per 4 persone . Wc posizionato in una stanza separata dal resto del bagno con scarsa areazione

- Thomas (5/5): Aufenthalt war einigermaßen OK trotz defekter Klima. Standort zu laut für einen längeren Aufenthalt. - Frühstücksbuffet war sehr variantenreich - für alle etwas dabei. Das Hotel ist vom Zentrum aus sehr gut erreichbar. Die Nähe zum Prater und zum historischen Zentrum von Wien ist durchaus attraktiv. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer funktionierte nicht. Die Störung wurde gemeldet, konnte aber nicht behoben werden. Zur Frischluftzufuhr mussten die Fenster geöffnet werden, was mit ziemlichen Straßen- und Partylärm während der ganzen Nacht verbunden war - die Nachtruhe war daher ziemlich gestört. Der Frühstücksraum ist eher eng. Beim Verlassen des Hotels muss man aufpassen - es geht ein sehr frequentierter Radweg direkt vorbei. Eventuell wäre eine Gehsteigsicherung vor dem Eingang zum Radweg hin sinnvoll.
