It also features a 24/7 Carrefour along with several cafes, restaurants, salons and shopping options. The only improvement needed is a friendlier reception staff.!!

tariqtaqieddin (8/5): 6 nights business stay - It's a good hotel, good room service, I had breakfast for one day during my 6 nights stay, I didn't like it very much, but I can say that it's a good breakfast. Rooms have plenty of space, it's most likely a Studio, with a small kitchen and a bathroom. Staff are kind, but they took long time for complting check in. Hotel location is surrounded by many restaurants and stores. It's close to Khaled lake corniche and Majaz park, they are nice place for walking especially at night. Hotel is not expensive, I think it's cheaper than other 4 stars hotels.

Yuwaraj199 (10/5): Great place - It's one of the oldest hotels in Sharjah. The location of the hotel is the best. The rooms are big however the furniture is very old. 1-2 nights stay is fine, not longer. The service is good. All the staff were great, specially the Female receptionist who from Sri Lanka was extremely polite, attentive and courteous. Hope to see the place with new way.

Carrefour is in front of reception, corniche is only a few minutes away by walk, restaurants and coffee shops around. Very convenient location for families. We recommend it.
Tom (8/5): - I came with rental car. I did know the parking situation at the hotel. The have a parking one Block away. But ever day, one street away from the hotel I came in the traffic jam of Sharjah. This part of the town is quite busy. Traffic is chaotic. The hotel has a supermarket at the opposite of the reception; that is very good. Cheap restaurant 100 meter away. But it is difficult to find something better for that price
SAIFULDEEN (2/5): - The hotel said there is no reservation for me from Expedia. I wait for about 4 hours communicating between Expedia agent and the hotel but nothing happened!!!!
NAJI (10/5): Nice and comfortable place to stay in Sharjah. - Very comfortable and clean rooms. Value for money. The hotel is located opposite to corniche. The area as such is a bit crowded. Valet parking is available. All staff, very friendly and cooperative. Special mention to Mr. Bilal and front desk Manager for their support and helping nature.
Inthiaz (6/5): - The property was not clean. My room had cobwebs on the walls and in the corner of the walls. The floor was not cleaned properly and the bathroom had a sewer smell coming from it at times. The bedding wasn’t changed not once while I was there for nine days. Towels wasn’t replaced that was dirty. I wouldn’t come back to this particular hotel in the future

rajaramreddy (4/5): Good hotel but extremely unhelpful and snooty front desk staff. - I was overcharged during my stay and Approx 600AED was charged as an adjustment without any explanation. I had no choice but to pay as I am getting delayed to catch my flight. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH THE CHEATS IN THE FRONT DESK. Otherwise the hotel is quite good and very conveniently located. The housekeeping needs improvement as they won’t leave a dental kit and shaving kit unless specifically asked for. The hotel offers a good view of the Sharjah waterfront.

Wander22478381342 (2/5): Disappointing experience - I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the experience I am having during my recent stay at this hotel. While there are aspects of the hotel that are satisfactory, I must share a concerning issue that is significantly impacting my stay. The policy of allowing guests to cook all types of foods in their rooms has resulted in a highly unpleasant and disgusting odor permeating the floor corridors. The smell is so overwhelming that we cannot even turn on the central air conditioner in our room during the scorching heat, as the unpleasant odor spread through the system, making our room unbearable. We’ve made several complaints to the reception staff about the foul smell and its impact on our comfort, but regrettably, no action has been taken to address the issue. The lack of response and attention to our concerns is making our experience even more frustrating and disappointing. I believe that a hotel should prioritize the comfort and well-being of its guests, and it is disheartening to see that such a significant concern is not appropriately handled. As a result of this unpleasant experience, I must honestly say that I wouldn't recommend or rate this hotel positively at this time. We’ve been very regular guests at this hotel over many years, this time we are quite disappointed with the service.
runchengz (10/5): Nice experience, suitable for travelling, family also for business all purpose - We are a 13 people's team, came to Sharjah for a business travelling, lived here for more than one month. The hotel provides multiple choices including single room, 2 bedrooms and 3 bedrooms etc which is suitable for us most. All facilities are good, even they provide us free cookware. We enjoyed a lot, all staff are very nice to us, special thanks to Mr. Francis, helped us anytime when we need everything. The hotel is also in new decorating, hope to come here again soon

The swimming pool is really relaxing with a warm refreshing water. The food was very delicious!! Overall I suggest you to come here for your vacation, you will be amazed!
jonesinperth (6/5): Tired But Pleasant Enough - Co located in a shopping and office building there is plenty on hand to assist a stay. The Carrefour Market on the ground floor opposite the hotel lobby is extremely handy. Unfortunately, it does add to the time spent in lifts as they traverse the shopping and office levels. The hotel is not flash and is a little tired in decor, but the staff are pleasant and helpful even though they may be short of numbers for the busy times. Breakfast in the Tulip Restaurant is a good spread with many varieties of food available including a live omelette station. It’s also a pleasant view over the lagoon. The 11th floor rooms are a good size but the view can be a little drab when faced with the empty office block. The decor tiredness reveals itself in the lingering smoke smell even though the floor is a designated non-smoking zone. As to overall value, I can’t really give any pointers as I didn’t pick up the tab for my seven night stay.

Frank (6/5): - Some of the staff were quite helpful and the location of the hotel was central which was what we wanted. However, when we first arrived we seemingly were not expected. After booking this hotel we received a message thanking us. On their website we were asked to let them know if we were due to arrive after midnight. We did this and received no acknowledgement so we messaged a second time and still no acknowledgement! Our safe was broken, we had no adapter plug for the kettle, a light was on the inside of the wardrobe constantly and there was no way of switching this off. Admittedly when we informed staff about the safe and the kettle, these issues were dealt with immediately.

Voon Chin (8/5): - Good location and very near laffah (excellent fried chicken place) and lulu ( grocery store) and same building as carrefour (grocery place). Staff members generally friendly. My only complaint is when I was checking out I was told to sit and wait while they checked the room. I sat there right in front of the female receptionist. After awhile the bell boy came and asked me if I was checking in or out. I told him I was waiting for release and he went to check with the female receptionist. She just waved at him to ask me to leave I guess because he conveyed that to me. She didn’t even acknowledge or look at me all the time she asked me to wait. I think that was really rude. Besides her with bad service and attitude the other staff were very friendly.

Zafar (2/5): - In the morning there was leakage from the wash room and was flooded with water. Drain was also blocked . Informed Hotel management staff . Could not resolve issue for more than a hour. Asked the house keeping person who was in the corridor to clean as it an emergency and needed to use wash room. The house keeping person ( Patel ) informed that I will come when I have cleaned the room which i am assigned. I had to take the towels and cleaned the wash room. The manager was informed he casually said that he will take and never came back. The manager did lip services. We stayed for four night and no one came to provide any type of compensation for the inconveyence caused. The client canceled my meeting due to being late which resulted in a financial loss to me Please take up with the management to provide compensation for the poor customer service and leakage from wash room. Above all a very cold attitude from the staff and management

Verified traveler (10/5): - PROS: The location was excellent. We had booked the suite with a kitchenette and a king-sized studio. The Buhaira Corniche is a very vibrant and family-friendly place. We would walk along the corniche at night. The kettle opposite the hotel serves excellent Doodh Patti (Milk Tea). There is also an excellent Shawarma place right around the corner called Laffa. Great chicken shawarmas. CONS: Only 3 devices can be connected to the wifi provided per room. An iron and ironing board are available via request. It is sometimes difficult to find. The best landmarks for your driver are "Buhaira Corniche, Al Fardan Center, Golden Tulip".
Tori (8/5): - The location is fantastic with a super market downstairs and another nearby. The room is small but decent as long as you don’t have much luggage. The cleaning staff was nice. I generally have good things to say except I didn’t like the call at 11.50am to ask me when I was checking out. I was already on my way out do calling slowed my checking process. Also, I felt like I was bring chase out. I understand that they might want to remind guests to check out at noon or even better to offer possible In any case, this was my fourth hotel on this trip to try out location n amenities. While I like the location, I am less impressed by the receptionists. Not that they are bad but I felt they were doing a job and were less welcoming than the others on the same stripe.

Sana (10/5): Went with baby & husband.Would highly recommend! - Had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location is perfect for any type of stay. There is a grocery store, laundry service, both men women's saloon, great eating and coffe spots just u see the hotel. There is also a canal walk and a carnival type area with in walking distance. The hotel was very clean and had amazing employees. I seriously have zero complaints. If I absolutely had to make a suggestion; it would be that hotel breakfast (which was included in our booking package) have more variety. The food, taste wise, was about a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. They basically serve the same thing everyday so after 3-4 days I just couldn't eat it any more. It was clean and fresh but just boring.

Ahmed (8/5): My overall review for my stay in Golden Tulip Shar - I stayed for 3 nights,I stayed before at this hotel -Disadvantages: 1- Receptionist promised free in room Wifi, later asked for charges and after small fight gave for free. 2- Wifi so slow but solved next day. 3- Asked for charges for the complementary water bottles when asked for more in 3rd night. 4- requests for iron and bell boy to handle luggage were satisfied too late. 5- room needed more ventilation.Windows are locked. 6- Untrained staff..they asked my guest and me in reception to pay the bill for beverages in the lobby area several times. 7- Before lobby wifi usage was free but now chargeable. 8- Overall my last stay was better Advantages: 1- Close to all services,shoppings and recreational sites. 2- Nice and clean room. 3- Quite rooms, no smoke smells and no discos music. 4- Nice reception area. 5- If staff know you,good service. 6- Nice GYM room. 7- They solved hot water shower problem from last time and listened to my suggestion.

Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel, good value for money - The hotel is located on Corniche road, on waterfront of the lagoon - good place for having a walk. City Center is in 20-30 minutes by foot. Nearest each is in 30 minutes by foot also, but taxi is cheap & easy to catch. Hotel building is Al Fardan business center, and having 24 hours supermarket on the 1st floor was convenient. Room was spacious (Executive studio), exactly like pictured on the website. Towels, toiletries, bottled water were replaced as needed. Bad thing - the room had smell of smoking, even though we booked non-smoking one, but the smell was gone away next day. Another type of smell was in the wardrobe - smth sour, but again - it was gone soon, so didn't bother much. Fridge was tiny, microwave was ok. Plug converter was provided upon request at the reception. Cleaning was satisfactory besides vacuuming - it either has not been done, or has been done poorly, because I was noticing hair on the carpet. Other than that - bathroom was shining after housekeeping, dishes - washed, etc. Overall, we're under good impression of the hotel and think it pays off its price.

fhj (2/5): Not recommended - The hotel rented my suite before I arrive. I had to wait for three hours to get a lower replacement. They denied my reservation and I requested to talk to the manager even the tourism authority in Sharjah, then the gave me a smaller room than I requested ( I paid for a three bedroom suite) I got a sinle room instead . No moral They rented the suite for a higher bidder...... Parking is terrible Hotel entrance is shared with the mall and hidden, we have to drive five times around the block to find the entrance.

Verified traveler (2/5): Room stank of cigar smoke - Our 'non-smoking' room stank of cigar smoke and the hotel said they could not change it as they were full; We had booked for 3 nights, but they did not change the room the next day, despite me calling the duty manager to experience the room. We checked out early, losing 172€ in pre-paid fees, but it was worth it to get away from the disgusting smell. I advise people reading this review to choose another hotel, as the management did not seem to care about the problem.

Harvey (10/5): Excellent clean, convenient hotel near DXB - It was one of my better hotel experiences in Dubai. I was looking for something convenient to DXB Airport (taxi fare of about 70 local dollars) and it was an excellent experience. I di not have an opportunity to eat there over my three days there. My only complaint was that it was not well known by taxis at DXB. Take the address and the phone number published is not correct. Correct # ends in 777!
