My daughter was very happy that she got matching robe and slippers to us. Its those little touches. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again. Spa facilities were lovely, I had a performance massage, Im a sports therapist my self and always struggle to find someone that applies enough pressure and get a full experience of a spa. At St Regis spa the lady was amazing, I couldn't fault the treatment. So if you do stay in the hotel I would highly recommend going and booking a treatment. The sophia restaurant we visited in the evening and the food was amazing. Breakfast you have every choice you can think of, staff were there to help all the time and you got served promptly. The staff even remembered our coffee orders the next day. The only negative I can say about the hotel which is nothing really, is the restaurant is very cold. We all had to wear jumpers. It also didn't help the breakfast buffet as even though the food were under heat lamps the food was luke warm, time you got to your table it was cold. But I couldn't fault anything else about the hotel. It didn't affect our trip and again I would visit again.

Each night, there were persistent noises coming from the roof, similar to a broken pipe, which made it quite difficult to fall asleep. Additionally, a few of my makeup items were found broken during the stay. I am unsure how this occurred, but it was disappointing.

- Roving51205028500 (10/5): Best Breakfast Buffet in the World! - We spent 5 glorious nights at the St. Regis Singapore for spring break, 2026. We traveled as a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 teens) and were upgraded to the Astor Suite with 2 queen beds. Asian hotels are notoriously tiny (compared to American standards), so finding a room large enough for 4 adult-sized humans is always a challenge. This hotel was perfect from a sleeping standpoint. The absolute best part of our stay was the breakfast buffet. Seriously 10/10 morning buffet. It opened at 6:30am (perfect for jet-lagged visitors) and had like 20 stations of diverse cuisine to choose from. I'm not joking when I say the food was some of the best variety I've ever had. Hats off to the St. Regis Senior Sous Chef Kamal Hossen! He took great care of our little family every day - making sure our food restrictions were honored (some of us vegetarian, some nut-free). He brought us our lattes, gave us some travel tips and generally made our mornings so pleasant. Thanks Chef Kamal! We enjoyed the diverse food stations as it had something for everyone. Dosa and Sambar from India for my one kid, cage-free veggie omelets for my husband, Korean cuisine for my meat-eating kiddo and veggie egg-noodle ramen for my low-calorie mom diet. We ate for 2+ hours every morning and miss it now that we're back home. Highly recommend this hotel and its excellent staff.

Our room was exceptionally spacious—we stayed in the Lady Astor Room, which was both elegant and very comfortable. The check-in process and room service were excellent and professional. They also gave my daughter a St Regis teddy bear with friendly handwritten introduction notes. She was so touched. Thank you! I would also specially thank Ms. Yan Shui from Sophia for being so kind and thoughtful during our breakfast there, it truly made us feel very welcome. I also enjoyed the impressive art collection displayed throughout the lobby and public areas, which is unique cultural blend of east Asian and western styles.

The food and the ambience were among the top feedback well-received by our guests. The program was a success and it cannot be done without the assistance of Noah, the banquet manager, and Isabelle, the butler. They were incredibly attentive to our needs and guided us through every step of the ceremony with grace. A special thank you also goes to the concierge team, who went above and beyond by helping us pack our baggage/ wedding decorations into the car at checkout. The professionalism across the entire service crew is truly top-notch. Also, shout out to Michelle, the sales manager who helped us with all the planning and coordination before the wedding banquet lunch! I highly recommend The St. Regis SIN for couples looking for a location to host their wedding banquets!

- maurermichael (10/5): Outstanding breakfast, but some things need serious work - We stayed here for three nights and had an overall very pleasant stay. In short, the breakfast was outstanding (great for gluten allergies - more below), the rooms are beautiful, but there is room for improvement in overall front desk service attitude and butler offerings. The highlight of our stay was without doubt the breakfast, in particular the service my wife and I received from Senior Sous Chef Kamal Hossen. My wife has a gluten allergy and he took the time to walk her through the entire breakfast buffet explaining what she could have. He also made her delicious gluten free french toast. If you have any allergies, having this kind of reassurance means you can relax and truly enjoy your meal. He also surprised me with a freshly made bowl of laksa, my favourite Singaporean dish. Our waiter Darwisy was also very friendly and we really appreciated his service. Breakfast was superb. As beautiful as the rooms are, we had a negative experience which left a bit of a sour taste. When we checked in were promised an upgrade to a suite room the following day, due to our Bonvoy status. When we followed up the next day the front desk manager said that we weren’t actually eligible for a suite upgrade – only an upgrade to a lower category which had not been even mentioned up until this point – or else we would have to pay. The first front desk worker had repeatedly, specifically, mentioned a suite – never anything else. Instead of honouring what her colleague had promised us at check-in, she flatly refused to help and instead encouraged us to leave a 1-star review and file a complaint! It took us getting visibly upset and asking to speak to her manager for the suite upgrade to be processed for our remaining two nights. Even after honouring the promised upgrade, he somehow blamed us for not having “read the T&Cs of the Bonvoy program” when the whole thing was a terrible communication error on THEIR end. This is not the type of service I expect from a St. Regis - the customer is always right in these types of situations (especially when they’ve been given incorrect information by the hotel), and I am still baffled at the fact that I was encouraged to leave a negative review for something that could have so easily been solved amicably. For the record, the posted rate for the suite was only £100 more per night than our first room. The butlers are friendly, enthusiastic and professional, yet they are only allowed to provide complimentary tea and coffee up until 11am. This feels like a shortcoming when other St Regis properties provide this service for the entirety of the day (we really enjoyed this at the St Regis in Bali). Were it not for the upgrade incident, this would be a 5/5 review. With a brand name like St Regis come high expectations; this can be a double edged sword. This is a gorgeous hotel with a superb breakfast and overall very friendly and attentive (although less personalised) service than other St. Regis properties. We would happily come back to this hotel, although much of that is down to the superb breakfast and service from Chef Kamal.

It was truly lovely and have zero issue giving it a five star rating. The room was perfectly appointed and comfortable, and the brunch, don't get me started! We had been traveling all over Asia and this was truly one of the greatest. Get ready to be full for the entire day...and the head Italian chef is an absolute doll who was so lovely to us. Great location close to the botanical and orchid gardens...it's a winner!

The hotel facilities are great and fitness center is equipped with varieties of equipment and it even has a Inbody 270 machine to measure your body composition analysis. The breakfast spread is great and a wide variety of food selection. All the staff were friendly and their service were tip top. Above all, Executive Butler Jatin is exceptional and provided great services and interact with guests with great enthusiasm!

The location is also excellent – slightly quieter, yet still in the Orchard area, and just a short walk from the Botanic Gardens, which adds a special touch to the stay. I would return anytime – a truly memorable and relaxing experience.

Chief Butler Jatin and his team took great care to personalise our stay, and making the kids feel comfortable. Only about a 15 minute walk to the Botanical Gardens and great shopping and restaurants. The rooms are well appointed and very spacious. The service level is exceptional. Some standouts on the St Regis Singapore team were: Vishnu, Haziq, Rahim and the concierge Hafiz. Mine, my housekeeper, always noted my special requests. I will be back!

It started with Daisy, Assistant Front Desk Manager, granting us early check-in after a very lengthy trip from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We were so very grateful for her consideration of our situation. We found all staff at this wonderful hotel to be very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. Darwisy Ikfan, our main Butler during our five night stay, made our experience at the St Regis extra special! He was always there for us, making our stay comfortable and pleasant. He made us feel valued Marriott Bonvoy guests, and went out of his way to create an extremely enjoyable stay for us! I definitely commend this young man for his professionalism, kindness, and how efficient he was at his job.

- I6707WDannabellec (6/5): Renovated rooms, but the St. Regis experience felt diminished - We have stayed at The St. Regis Singapore and other St. Regis properties around the world, and have always appreciated the consistency of the St. Regis experience, from its signature butler service to the thoughtful details that create a sense of refined luxury. Our most recent stay, however, fell short of expectations. We visited the property last year before the renovation began. While the rooms were somewhat dated then, the service was warm and attentive and the overall experience still felt aligned with what we expect from St. Regis. During this visit, although the rooms have been renovated, the overall experience unfortunately felt diminished. To be fair, the renovated rooms do include some thoughtful updates. The new flooring replacing carpet makes the room feel cleaner and more modern. The in-built water dispenser is a practical addition, and the automated day and night blinds are a nice convenience. However, several other changes felt more like downgrades than improvements. The bathroom no longer includes the television by the bathtub, which used to be a distinctive feature. The toilet seats are no longer automatic and the built-in bidet functions have also been removed. Shower pressure was lower than expected, and the lights in the room flickered intermittently. When the bathtub tap was turned on at higher flow, it produced a loud noise through the plumbing. Some of the signature touches around the property also seemed reduced. The floral arrangements in the lobby, typically a hallmark of St. Regis hotels, were noticeably less grand than what we have come to expect from the brand. Another change was the reduction of the signature butler service. Previously available 24 hours, it is now limited to 6–11am, which diminishes one of the defining elements of the St. Regis experience. Breakfast was also underwhelming compared to prior visits. The buffet selection appeared smaller and the overall quality felt below what we experienced here previously. The lobster chawanmushi in particular had a noticeably fishy taste. Perhaps most disappointing was the service. While staff were polite, the warmth and genuine attentiveness that typically distinguish St. Regis service were largely absent, and interactions often felt more transactional than welcoming. Overall, despite the renovated rooms and a few positive updates, the stay did not deliver the level of experience we have come to associate with the St. Regis brand. As repeat guests of St. Regis hotels globally, we share this feedback in the hope that the Singapore property can restore the level of warmth, service, and attention to detail that the brand consistently delivers elsewhere. We would be glad to see how the property evolves on a future visit.

We really like the Orchard Road/ Tanglin Rd location, not as busy or touristy as other areas of Singapore, and many restaurants and shopping within walking distance. We opted for “breakfast included” room rate and enjoyed a daily breakfast buffet and also could order alacarte items. Enjoyed a true Cantonese fine dining experience at Yan Ting and Italian at Sophia. Spacious room with large bathroom. Pool and spa were pleasant, Service top notch especially the door men. Highly recommend this hotel.

What was meant to be an enjoyable visit turned into a series of unpleasant and uncomfortable encounters. 1st incident, I arrived slightly later than my two friends for high tea. I approached a staff member who was standing about a meter away and informed him that I was joining my friends. He pulled and joint the next table together. Then he simply walked away. I had to call him back just to request for cutlery. He did not bother to ask if I would like any drinks. I felt awkward and honestly quite embarrassed, as if I wasn’t supposed to be there. 2nd incident, I was standing directly in front of the noodle station during breakfast, waiting to be served. After the staff member finished serving the guest in front of me, she simply walked away without even acknowledging or asking what I would like. Not even eye contact. I was left standing there, unsure of what to do. 3rd incident, I returned from walking along Orchard Road during heavy downpour. My umbrella was dripping wet. Before I enter the lobby, I politely asked the Porter Concierge if there was a plastic bag available for my umbrella. He responded coldly, “This is a hotel.” I was stunned by the reply. Throughout my stay, I could not help but left feeling small and uncomfortable. Maybe I don’t fit the typical image of a guest at this property. I don’t know. But I do know that no one should be made to feel small, judged or unwelcome. It is about hospitality, warmth, and respect. Sadly…… this experience left me feeling very low and deeply disappointed.

We wanted somewhere meaningful, restful, and refined. This staycation turned out to be exactly what we needed. Located in a quieter stretch of Orchard Road, the hotel feels like a peaceful sanctuary while still being incredibly convenient. Within just a 5–10 minute walk, you’re connected to the best of Singapore’s shopping, dining, and even the Botanic Gardens. It’s the perfect balance between vibrancy and calm. From check-in to check-out, the hospitality was exceptional. Every staff member we encountered made us feel genuinely cared for. By the time we left, we both felt completely reset — almost reborn — as if our body and soul had been gently recharged. A few special mentions: Gan and Aaron were wonderful during check-in. There were some minor reservation glitches, but they handled everything professionally and smoothly. More than that, they listened with patience and empathy, which made all the difference. At Yu Ting restaurant, Calvin made our dinner memorable. The Chinese dishes were exquisite, and the steamed Hong Kong–style turbot fish was simply unforgettable — delicate, flavorful, and perfectly executed. Chef Kamal made our breakfasts feel intimate and personal. Each morning felt less like dining in a hotel and more like being welcomed into a relative’s home. That warmth stays with you. This wasn’t just a staycation. It was a celebration, a pause, and a renewal. Thank you to the entire team at The St. Regis Singapore for making our 10-year milestone truly meaningful. A close friend had arranged a special surprise for my husband and me to celebrate our honeymoon, and unfortunately the hotel did not follow through with setting this up. For a property of this caliber, especially for such a meaningful occasion, this was disappointing. That said, Gobi and Rahim at the front door truly deserve special recognition. They were incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming, and made our stay feel far more personal. Gobi gave us excellent lunch and dinner recommendations and even offered to take photos of us each night before we headed out — such a thoughtful gesture that really stood out. Gobi and Rahim’s service were exceptional and memorable, even though the hotel missed an important opportunity to make our honeymoon feel special.
- HKdimsum (2/5): Formal Complaint Regarding Inappropriate Handling of Amex Digital Voucher at Check-Out - Dear Guest Relations Team, I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding the handling of my check-out experience at The St. Regis Singapore on 22 Jan, 2026, during a stay that was meant to celebrate my birthday week. The complimentary night was redeemed using an American Express Platinum Charge digital voucher, which was properly presented, scanned, and confirmed as redeemed at the time of check-in. Despite this, during check-out, I was unexpectedly asked to re-present the voucher via the Amex app for “reconfirmation.” (By this intern named Gan with a supervisor sitting right next to him) This request was both confusing and unnecessary, as the voucher had already been redeemed and verified by your team upon check-in. Requiring a guest to re-prove a completed redemption at check-out felt inappropriate and, frankly, distrustful. Matters were further aggravated when the intern assisting us appeared suspicious because the screen displayed “Voucher has been used 1 time” rather than the specific “tick-off” screen he expected. This led to an uncomfortable exchange, despite the fact that the voucher had clearly been redeemed correctly. I was even required to retrieve a screenshot taken at check-in to prove what had already been confirmed the day before. At the time, I was feeling physically unwell and in visible discomfort, yet no consideration or empathy was shown. Instead of expediting the process or offering assistance, the situation was prolonged unnecessarily. What was most disappointing was the intervention of the Front of House Manager, Mr. Lian Weihao. Rather than de-escalating the situation or offering an apology, his approach felt confrontational and dismissive of both the circumstances and my condition. This further detracted from what should have been a seamless luxury experience, especially at a property of St. Regis’ standing. What I expected to hear from Front of House Manager was “I’m so sorry for the inconvenience. Please allow me to take care of this immediately.” Luxury hospitality is defined not only by facilities, but by discretion, trust, and empathy. Unfortunately, this experience fell short on all three fronts. I hope the management will review: 1. The policy of rechecking already-redeemed digital vouchers at check-out 2. Staff training regarding Amex digital voucher displays 3. Appropriate guest-facing conduct, particularly in situations involving unwell guests I look forward to your response and a meaningful acknowledgment of this experience.

- radvani (4/5): Definitely not the St. Regis standard - I stayed at the St. Regis for one night for a staycation as I had a spa booking. My previous experiences with the St. Regis have been Hong Kong and Bali (both amazing), so I expected the same high standard. I was very disappointed. I received an upgrade thanks to my Marriott loyalty which was appreciated. The rooms are well appointed, but are rather small for this price point (the bathroom is pretty much the same size as the bedroom). I opted for breakfast at check in since it came highly recommended. However, I went down at 9:30am and the queue for breakfast was at least a 30 minute wait - it stretched all the way to the back of the lobby. I opted to skip the line and went to Tanglin Mall for breakfast instead - there’s plenty cafes there. I got back at 10:15 and there was still a line! Three star hotels have better processes in place for breakfast. I was better off not waiting for the breakfast (which I had paid for). However, the worst part of this hotel is the service. The bellboys and doormen are all exceptional, but that’s where the good service ends. There’s no turn down service, which is shocking for a St. Regis. The front desk experience is also absolutely awful. I mentioned my breakfast experience at checkout and instead of sympathy or an apology I got a “well that’s why we told you to come down for breakfast at 8am”. I would assume that allowed to come down for breakfast when I want to, not when the hotel wants me to? I also tried to charge a coffee to my room, but was told that it couldn’t be processed because the system wouldn’t allow it. The whole point of going to a hotel is so that I don’t have to carry my wallet with me, but be prepared to pay as you go here. The only saving grace is the spa. The staff are all wonderful, and special thanks to Ada for helping me coordinate bookings. I’ll definitely be back for the spa, but will skip the hotel next time.

Inna and Fatima were attentive and kind, and Chef Kammal personally came to our table to check on us, which we truly appreciated. YC was thoughtful in checking on the mangosteen when it ran out, Jessica provided warm service with a welcoming smile, and Evonne was professional throughout. Special thanks as well to Daisy, the Duty Manager, and April from the fresh juice station for her friendly service. Excellent hospitality all around — we would happily return.

We would also like to commend the front desk staff and the team who provided the turndown service — everyone was warm, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. Although we were only able to stay for one night on this occasion, we will absolutely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Singapore. - DuyAnh92 (8/5): Great stay. - The room has been renovated with a fresh interior; however, I feel the old design was more luxurious. The upgrade is excellent and the cocktail hour seems interesting. The Ambassador and VIP amenities are lackluster—a typical issue in Singapore, I find—and it took quite a while to coordinate with the front desk. It wasn't a smooth experience initially. GM card is also missing. The breakfast is great, featuring exceptional service from the lady at the noodle station. The kaya toast is also a nice touch. The gym is small and lacks certain weight machines. I planned to have a spa treatment after my workout but was scolded by a spa receptionist who insisted why do i remove shoes in the gym. She pointed to a gym policy that no street shoes or bare foot allowed with graphic showing a person stretching barefoot to justify her point. Honestly, it’s 2026; guests use the gym at their own risk, and many exercises require removing shoes. It isn't a high school class. Overall its a 7/10. Same price with JWM, but at least there are 2 door men, and provide fuller service than the JW.

This was our 4th stay at the hotel over the years and the previous 3 were fantastic. Probably not staying here anytime soon. 1. Preferred the standard room last stay compared to the higher category I booked this time. Standard room was larger (both the room and the bathroom) 2. No Amex FHR upgrade 3. Butler fishing for tips was disappointing - “I gave you extra cookie” 4. Convention style BF buffet was deeply disappointing - quality and service. Apparently, the restaurant where they do the regular BF service is too small for the hotel occupancy and so they set it up in the banquet hall 5. Bell desk took 15 minutes to get our luggage. I was down at the reception 5 mins after I had called for the room and was told that they were on their way to our room. 5 minutes later when I followed up, he went looking for someone and finally found someone to send to our room. Why lie to me the first time? In the 10 mins I was down at the reception (7 am on Dec 31), there were no other checkouts

Requested for a baby cot for my newborn but was provided a baby crib and it is not suitable for newborn. Hence, called the butler to remove it from the room else the room space is badly compromised. The butler did not come until the 3rd time calling. Very disappointing service for St. Regis highly reputable hotel. 2. The staffs at the lobby tea room needs alot of improvement in their service especially the lady at the restaurant entrance.
- JJ_C010 (10/5): A Perfect First Visit to Singapore - This was our first trip to Singapore from the U.S., and staying at The St. Regis turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. The hotel has recently completed a full renovation, and everything looks amazing. From the beautifully updated rooms to the new design of the main restaurant, Sophia, where breakfast is served each morning. The St. Regis Bar is also worth a visit, especially for its signature cocktails and relaxed vibe in the evenings. What really stood out during our week-long stay was the service. The breakfast team in particular went above and beyond every single day. The staff always greeted us with big smiles, and Inna deserves a special mention for making us feel genuinely welcome with her warmth and kindness. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to come back. If you’re visiting Singapore, I’d wholeheartedly recommend The St. Regis for it’s the perfect mix of luxury, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality.

Worst service ever - Locals warned us not to stay here, we thought given the new renovation and St. Regis brand was worth a shot and the whole experience was horrible. 1. Took 3 hours to check in, and missed every deadline they provided. Room wasn't ready until 6pm after telling us 4pm and 5pm it would be, and we got downgraded floor from what we booked "penthouse" room to a lower floor. Didn't provide us Amex benefits either 2. Service is horrendous, takes 1-2 hours to get anything, have to call multiple times to remind staff. Staff continually points fingers at other departments indicating it's "not their problem" 3. We did laundry and they destroyed one of our expensive polo shirts, with clear bleach stains. We escalated after speaking to 3 different "butlers" and had to wait an extra day because "manager isn't on duty during new years," and when the manager (Rachel) showed up they refused to acknowledge or compensate us, simply said "there is no solution" to this, and blaming us instead. Total waste of time, didn't even provide a single option to make us feel better about the situation. As a Hyatt Globalist member, and previous Hilton Diamond, have never experienced such terrible service, let alone at a St Regis. We stayed at Marina Bay Sands for 3 nights prior and it was amazing.

And indeed Our stay at The St. Regis Singapore was truly exceptional and confirmed why this hotel is considered one of the finest luxury hotels in this city. The hotel is perfectly located in Singapore’s prestigious golden central district, close to the main luxury shopping areas. Everything is nearby, and even a drive to the famous Marina Bay area takes only about 20 minutes. Traffic in Singapore is impressively smooth and well-organized, making getting around fast and comfortable. The hotel itself reflects the timeless St. Regis elegance—beautiful entrances, spacious comfortable rooms, and large luxurious bathrooms. The signature st Regis butler service is flawless, discreet, efficient, and always attentive. Breakfast is outstanding, with a very rich selection of high-quality products. Highlights include many items but I will Mention only two - the freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices prepared on the spot, and the excellent à la carte menu not to be missed—especially the famous epicurean omelet with lobster and caviar. What truly elevates the experience is the excellent hotel team on every level. Everyone is smiling, kind, and genuinely goes out of their way to help. Special thanks to front office supervisor Lim Hui for assisting with all my arrangements, to Grace Siow the Room Director, for arranging the perfect room, as well as to Eleanor and Hafiz for their care and professionalism. And a special mention to the legendary longtime Loby- cafe waiter Mescow, who provided me with personal attention every breakfast with impeccable service and style. I can confidently recommend this upscale luxury hotel for both business and leisure stays in this beautiful city.
- Krishaam (10/5): Outstanding Hotel. - Beautiful rooms. Ultra convenient facility in room. All provided for stay from shampoo, conditioner, bath gel even face fash and toothbrushes daily with toothpaste. Was beyond expectations. Not a dislike, but an opinion, in room dining could have a few classic options, maybe 5 items to make it easier for global travelers. Basic simple meals for the days you reach back late and exhausted and just want something basic and familiar.

Wonderful food, wonderful service = happy customers!

She was very professional and nice, and upgraded me to the next category of room and gave me late checkout till 4pm. It is good to be a platinum elite Marriott Bonvoy member. There is also butler service which we had complimentary cafe latte service to our room upon check in and the next morning. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. However, I actually prefer the lower category room because the bathroom was more convenient which is next to the bed. We had dim sum at Yan Ting the next morning. As usual the food was yummy and service was very good. The concierge was friendly and very helpful. I always choose to do a staycation at St Regis and at least once a year, and it is always a fabulous experience!

Starting with the initial greeting and all throughout the stay until I left, Gobi was there with a contagious warm smile and nothing but a sincere welcome. Seeing him everyday made each day better! My housekeeper Kim set my room up perfectly everyday and it was always a joy to come back to such a clean and tidy room, she wa the real MVP of my trip. I would comeback not only for the beautiful property but because the staff was such a pleasure!
- steger1971 (10/5): Excellent service for family of four - We arrived at the St. Regis after spending 5 days in the Maldives. We were exhausted as we had a red eye flight and were hoping to at least drop our bags with the concierge. Our check in was easy and after seeing how tired we were, efforts were made to let us access the room early. Some of us went to sleep immediately while others walked around to try and stay awake and not end up awake all night. Service was exceptional and staff were very attentive and caring. We are a group of four in our family and we all enjoyed the spa and had excellent massage treatments. The breakfast was excellent with so many options it was hard to decide what to choose. The hotel was being decorated for the holidays and it was especially festive. We were able to walk to wonderful shopping areas. I would definitely book here again.
